SPOILER!!: Enya Louisa kept stroking the owl, "I don't know. We could attach a tiny bag to the owl's neck and tuck the letter in there." She smiled shiftily. "We're in a MAGICAL school if you remember." Yeah, it was a fact Louisa found hard to forget with all those moving pictures around. She took hold of the owl and placed her in front of her on the ground. Louisa then crouched and started tie-ing the letter... or tried to. After several failing attempts she gave up, "Would you stop eating for a moment and tie this for me? She keeps moving her leg!" This owl wasn't cute right then! SPOILER!!: Jenny Just as Louisa was complaining about the owl, Jenny rushed into the owlery. "Jenny!" Louisa exclaimed making the owl flying away with the letter in her beak. Louisa's head snapped towards the owl angrily, "Hey you! Come back here!" She started hopping to reach for the owl which stood on a rock coming out of the wall. "Come down here please!" She sounded desperate. She started to jump again while talking to Jenny, "How come you're late?" She said between the hops. |
Bonnie needed to send a letter. Well, why else would she be here? SPOILER!!: Da Letter "Take that to Vanessa Campbell puleez." She smiled at the bird and watched it fade into the sky. |
Ohhhhh Danika.......... ;) ;) Fletcher was almost out of energy when he reached the Owlery at last. Hufffffpuffffffwhooohoooo. They weren't joking when they made this castle well... a big ole castle, were they? No siree. But at least all this exercise, climbing from the kitchens to this tower, was good training for the tournament. Right? Right?! The boy paused just outside the door to the owlery and rested his hands on his knees, catching his breath before he went inside. Never knew who would be sending out letters this time of night. As it were, he himself had a stack of about four to send. Just four though. He didn't have that many friends or family interested in the goings-on of the Triwizard Tournament. After a moment, Fletcher regained his composure and flicked his hair back from his face. He strolled into the owlerly like he owned the place and stood smack dab in the middle of the room, dark eyes scanning the owls for one that would be worthy of Champion GlitterPuff. |
Mr. Fletcher ;) Three letters. Danika was carrying three letters. And, of course, since no one was going to be here at night, then she still had the time to finish up the last one while in here. Except, the owlery didn't seem to be free of people at all! There was one boy, you see. "Fletcher!" she exclaimed, very unlike her, but she was caught by surprise, "I mean, good evening Fletcher" she nodded, as she looked at the Hufflepuff Champion. Well, there went her three letters, she only had two of them complete, and those will be the ones she'll be sending. She took the half finished ones and placed it in her pocket. No, Fletcher didn't see that. "Hoe are you today?" or tonight, which ever. The girl finally entered the place in the look out for the one owl who would most likely resist colder environments. |

She finally found a beautiful brown barn owl perched on the lower parts. She petted it for a while before tying the letter to the owl. SPOILER!!: letter |

She didn't partically want to meet the girl, she was only there after all because Louisa had dragged her there. Sigh. But then she heard the girl talking to her. She looked up at her for a moment before setting her plate on the floor next to her and leaning her head back against the wall ignoring the girl completely. Enya rolled her eye's at her best friend's sentence. Yeah how could she forget how to send a letter. Eye roll. She sighed and watched Louisa trouble with the owl. Course she remember'd where she was. Jesus! Enya didn't respond, she really didn't see a reason to. She giggled a little when she watched Louisa get into some trouble with the owl she had. It was a funny sight, but after a few minutes she sighed and stood up. She walked over to where the bird was and gestered for it to come down. Saying, "Come here...please" She didn't have to wait long before the owl itself came down and rested on her arm, smiling she turned towards Louisa stroking the owl. Time for the girl to send her letter. While she was looking at Louisa she peeked at the new girl - Jenny and gave her a nod. |

When Enya finally stood up and told the owl to come over, Jenny was amazed at how easy it seemed compared to when Louisa was struggling with the bird. Then she noticed something. Enya gave a nod to her! Well, for a rude person, it's great that she acknowledges Jenny's existence at least. Jenny quickly gave a nod back to Enya. |

"Danika!" he returned the greeting, finishing tying the letter with a little flourish. "Off you go," he said to the owl and shooed the grumpy bird out the window. He dusted his hands off and turned around to speak to the girl. "I'm doing well.... how are you? Been preparing for the first task?" He quirked a brow with the question. |
He was sending letters as well. "For your family?" she asked, eying the owl which just left. The boy was probably letting them know about the Tournament? Most likely, or not, these kids in Hogwarts seem to send plenty of letters for no particular reason. Strange. "Fine" she said, with a smile on her face. Now, which owl? Which one can go through the coldest skies. A smirk grew on her face as he asked a question, "For every task, Fletcher, not just the first one" there was a nod somewhere in there before she spotted a black owl that will most likely do the trick. "Have you?" she asked, eyebrow slightly raised, "Been practicing any spells, or potions, or just plain exercise?" because getting up here was quite some exercise. And one of the She then spotted a gray one. Huge one. That one will go farther north. "I vonder, is Fletcher your first or last name?" she asked, tilting her head to one side, the now-worn-loose dark red hair cascading to that one side. Because she paid little attention to the Goblet of Fire after her name was said. |
Sorry for the late... and this totally fails XD Quote:
Few seconds passed before the owl obeyed the girl and flew away. "Let's hope mom doesn't freak out." She mumbled before turning back to her friends. Uh Oh. Enya was acting kind of 'coldly' to Jenny. Typical. Quote:
"So, Jenny to whom did you send your letter?" It was the stupidest question Louisa could come up with but she really needed to start a conversation. |
Fail! Quote:
Looking up when she was introduced, she nodded her head again, showing no smile or anything. She leant back, best get all this over with. She thought as she looked over at the girl's again. "Hello" She said quitely. |
To Aiden Sadie had to hike all of the way from the low Slytherin icky dungeons ALLLL the way up to the owlery. That was something not person should ever attempt when they're wearing six inch heels. Her feet were aching when she got to the top and she had to catch her breath before continuing inside. Phew. That was her exercise for the day. She fixed her hair which was braided to the side and carefully folded the pink piece of paper in her hand. It was marked to here grandparent's who lived in Texas right now. Her mum was making her write to them. At least mam-ma bought her pretty things and gramps liked to ride out in the wild west with her. Speaking of west she forgot she was going to California over Christmas break at some point. YAY! She got to see the Cali boys all over again. |

SPOILER!!: To Patrick Dubois Just after Archimedes flew on out, he heard someone approaching from behind. Aha, Sadie. "Hey, Sadie." His eyes lowered to her shoes. Heh. If she walked up all those steps in those, this girl was crazy. |
6,000 post!!!!! *dances* You're lucky! Quote:
"Do you have any preference on one of these owls who won't bite and can fly a distance?" she asked him. Like over the sea distance. Actually one of these messenger owls would carry it to a post office in some muggle place. Then it would reach her grandparent's. |
Adam walked into the Owlery and got out a piece of parchment. He waited for Kurumi before starting. They were gonna brainstorm how to talk to this Alex person without revealing too much or putting Adam nor his family or friends in danger. He flicked his feather up and down, out of pure boredom...What was he even gonna write about.... |
Whoaa, 6,000! xD Quote:

Taking the letters out of his mouth, Fletcher approached Danika and watched her interact with the owls. Huh. "Oh yes," he nodded enthusiastically. "Mostly I've been working on the exercise bit. But I think I'm going to amp up the defense training here soon...." Maybe he shouldn't be telling her that. He raised a brow at her for a moment and folded his arms. "Take a guess." |

Danika laughed, without looking at the Champion. Just the exercise? "Feel free to indulge in procrastination and never practice" she said, eyes on the boy now, and a little wink. It worked to their advantage if he never practiced, unless he was naturally talented. Then again, they were all naturally talented. What? Danika straightened herself, apparently the owl was now becoming even more difficult. Her head tilted towards the boy, but her eyes were on the owl. "I say last, vecause 'Fletcher' as a first name is odd, then again, I think it vould ve an interesting name to have" given the fact that her own name was quite common in her country. She eyed him for a moment, deciding to let the owl grow accustomed to the fact that it will be sending a letter far away from Hogwarts. "Vhat is your first?" |

He turned around and saw her eying him -- not that he wasn't used to such looks from the ladies. ;] "It.... is my last name...." he admitted slowly. "But I really hate my first name so you won't get it out of me that easily." Fletch shook his head nope, like mum's the word. |
Cass entered the owlery with a roll of stationary parchment and her pot of green ink. It was cold up here, and for once, Cass wished she had decided to wear leggings under the green skirt that she had put on instead of her uniform. But, she was already here, so going back to the common room would be counterproductive. She placed her things on a windowsill and sang softly as she waited for her own to recognize the song. As usual towards the end of her song her owl, Cygnus, came swooping towards her arm. "Hey there darling..." Cass said as she ran her hands over Cygnus' black feathers. "I want you to deliver something for me...alright?" The owl merely hooted in response as she placed her (the owl) on a perch while she wrote her letter. Quote:
Then she watched as the owl flew off and she sighed. |
