Sweeeet a pillow fight! Fletcher was so pumped for this... and he knew exactly what he was going to do with his colorful runes. Humming to himself, the boy hopped up off his cushion right away, his runes clenched in his left fist and his wand in his right, and hurried over to grab a giant pillow.

Once he had the pillow, he arranged his runes on top of it like they were jewels in a crown formation. He sneaked a glance around the room to make certain no one was going to steal his idea and then he tapped the runes with his wand into a certain order. The central rune to his crown was going to be the blue rune of protection, so he wouldn't get hurt by any dumb pillows. And because blue was his favorite color. To the left of the blue rune was the red wolf, rune of battle, and to the right of it was the gray wolf, rune of hunting.

He put the brown rune of the craftsman to the far left, beside the rune of the red wolf, and then put the pretty blank rune to the far right, beside the gray rune. There. With all his runes arranged just the way he wanted them, Fletcher proceeded to transfigure the giant pillow into a heavy, faux gold crown. It paid to be good at transfiguration, eh?

Beaming at his pillow!crown of runes, Fletcher happily crowned himself and placed the fancy headgear on top of his shiny hair. He grabbed two more pillows for protection --- one for each hand --- and then got into position near one of the walls. It was good to stay on the perimeter, as he had learned in the Triwizard Tournament, as least until the professor said GO.

Simon couldn't help raising a slight eyebrow at the mention of recreating a battle, the idea a curious one especially with the various types of fights that had taken place in several classes already this year. Thankfully his silent question was answered a moment later as the professor pointed out the pile of pillows in the one corner as they appeared on her command.

Way cool a good old fashioned pillow fight, he mused with a smirk as he was reminded of a few incidents growing up.

It could be a pain to have an older brother who would pick on you but Simon always seemed equaly matched in a pillow fight. Getting up from his seat, he barely noticed the cushion vanish from beneath him as he stuffed his notes and quill in a pocket. Thats when he thought of the runes he had and tried to decide what to do with them.

Hmm where to put these? Somewhere non-troublesome but useful.

With no idea on the blank rune, Simon opted for his empty pocket seeing as it was as good a place as any. He absently watched his fellow classmates for any ideas and finally opted to wear them With 4 casts of a sticking charm, the four remaining runes where carefully attached to the collar of his shirt so they were out of the way yet there at the same time. That settled he headed over to the pile and picked up two good sized pillows but ones that were at least managable to be able to hit at anyone.

"Now to wait for the fun to begin," he mused quietly but aloud as he moved off to one side of the room to wait, his back facing the wall.

A pillow fight? Cool!
Dianna stood up and braided the runes onto her hair lie she was and Indian or something. She grabbed as much pillows as she can and strapped them onto her arms just in case she needed protection and to whack somebody.
Now we wait.

The Slytherin lad had to smile. He got half of it right-- the last rune was clear crystal, watching the prismatic colors illuminate the room.

But before he knew it, piles of pillows were appearing in the corner of the room and the Professor was giving instructions.

Uhh..... pillow fight?

Salander swiped the jeweled runes into his pocket and grabbed as much pillow as his arms could carry. He has been thinking ammo but there might be something else to this challenge, a twist the Professor has yet to reveal, but he couldnt figure out what it is now, his brain was still trying to sort out the Professor's instructions.

He sticky charmed the blue Protection rune onto one of the large pillows and used that as some kind of shield. On the other fighting hand he stuck the red rune of Battle. The silver Hunter rune he stuck in the middle of his forehead, just above his brows because.... he didnt know where else to put it. Leaving the brown Craftsmen charm in his pocket for a while, Salander took out the crystal clear rune. So its supposed to unify all them powerful runes eh? Well then.... he decided to stick that right over his chest. He stuck other pillows about him to create some kind of pillow armour, looking like some kind of odd Stay Puff Marshmallow man .

"BRING IT!"

Three seconds... two seconds... one second...

Ten minutes over!

Righto. Di picked up a biiig pillow and, holding it in front of herself as a sort-of-shield, cleared her throat. Loudly. "The Quileute Battle starts now," she announced brightly.

Charge!

Dianna and her pillow army whacked their way through and everyone in their way. She ducked and crawled to the ground to avoid flying pillows and whacked the legs of those she saw. This was going to be a looonggg battle.

"Take that!" she said as she continued to whack people's legs out of the way. She then removed the blue and red rune from her braids and placed them on both of her arms which was wrapped with pillows to erm.. who knows what they'll do but they do look nice there.

PILLOW FIGHT! This was the only time that she would ever be able ot whack a professor or other students so she wasnt missing this but she wasnt really aiming for the professor but it was a thought. The two pillows that she held in her hand were ready for battle. She took stance and prepared for an attack.

Noticing out of the corner of her eye that a slyhterin girl was taking out peoples legs. She moved over so as not to get taken to her knees.

Ten minutes went quickly when anticipation was building within someone and soon enough Professor Markovic was announcing the pillow fight was to officially begin. Simon glanced around to see what others were up to, debating his own first move. Spotting a Slytherin girl crawling on the floor just as she was about to swat his legs, he moved one of his pillows down to sort of parry the blow.

"Not so fast," he remarked backing away from the girl.

The moment Eino took a pillow there was only one thing on his mind: Engorgio. Sadly, he abandoned that thought in fear it would be considered cheating, so he held the pillow firmly in his hands, spying the room for his first target. He wanted to hit someone who wouldn't see it coming, but who, at the same time, would not hit him harder than he would hit him or her. At the same time he didn't want to be seen as bully for hitting someone weaker. It was a tough decision and he was putting too much thought into it. He had a few urges, he just wanted to swing that sucker at the person next to him, but that was a boy in Gryffindor, who looked at least three years older than him, and on the other side a young looking Hufflepuff girl. Maybe he could hit the boy and blame it on the girl? Genius, he thought, but didn't do it. He took a few steps back and continued to ponder.

Quilt fight was staring now?

MWAHAHAHA!!!

COOKIE GIRL! Where are you, huh?

Scooting to the side of the room, the Slytherin made a little fort like area around herself with the pillows that she had grabbed, and kept one in her hands. Hmm yes. Eying her prey, she was.

She recognized Simon, and Huffie dude, and...teehee, Salander, but still no Josh. That was a shame. Finally though, her eyes landed on the young Gryffindork. Seriously? Where were her friends? They would NOT want to miss this! And yet, they are. It was a pity. Such a good show...going to waste. Whatever though.

Evelyn had bigger problems. Like deciding if she was going to get off this cushion or not.

........and GO!!!!!!

At the announcement from the Runes professor, Fletcher tensed his legs like he was going to spring up in the air but then he didn't even move from the wall. No... he had spotted his first chosen victim out of the corner of his eye and the best part was that he didn't even have to move very far to attack her.

The Hufflepuff dropped to his knees and started to knee-walk toward that one She-Snake also on his side of the room. Thought she was clever, did she, with her little pillow fort, out of the way of the main action? Well he'd show her....

Fletcher held one of his giant pillows up in front of his face as if it was a shield. Only his crown barely showed above the fluffy thing and before he hoped Evelyn could see him, he dropped to his belly and flat-out army crawled toward the girl. She wouldn't even be able to see him above her fort. MWAHAHA.

When he thought he was close enough, the Hufflepuff waited a moment in front of her fort and THENNN he POPPED! up, full of adrenaline and swinging his giant pillow right through those pillow walls and toward her torso.

Woooohoooooo..!!!PILLOW FIGHT..!!!Right after the Professor announced that the battle has begun, Freya hold on her pillow tightly. She looked around to find a perfect victim. She saw Hufflepuff girl who looked like in the same year as her. "Perfect" she smirked and aiming the pillow to the girl.

Evelyn barely heard the loud thud from the not so subtle Hufflepuff on her side of the room. Nor did she see the obvious crown above the even more obvious fluffy pillow that was 'floating' towards her. She didn’t even see when he started to scoot on his stomach, or hear him when making all kinds of scratchy noises on the ground.

She was too focused on cookie girl and debating whether or not she wanted to lose her comfy cushion.

Scooting down even more into her fort so only her black eyes and forehead were showing, the Slytherin stared down the Gryffindork across the room, getting ready to pounce up and attack. Yes, she was going to give up her cushion. It was the only way! No way could she chase cookie girl down while scooting on a cushion-

Leaning backward in a sudden, Evelyn squeaked and quickly covered her head as a pillow was flung her way. NUUUU! HER SIDE! The squishy-ness! "I'M HIT!" she yelled, falling back in a dramatic way onto the scattered pillows and holding her side. She was hit! "AND MY FORT IS RUINED!" Not cool.

Quickly standing up, grabbing two pillows (one in each hand), she smirked and twirled the both. No she wasn't an expert. Pfft. The right pillow falling out of her hand was proof enough. Oops. Oh well. Pulling the other pillow back as if she were holding a bat, she swung it towards the Hufflepuff. Perhaps aiming to knock that crown off his head.

She wanted it!

Di had decided that, while everyone was fair game, Champion Fletcher was especially so. Why, you ask? Because if he could help defeat an evil!cockatrice, a pillow should be no problem for him.

A pillow.

Or two or three or four.

Ehemehem.

So, taking advantage of the fact that the current focus of Champion Fletcher's attention happened to be one Miss Flores-Shepard and her pillow!forte [hey, creative!], Di sneeeeaaaked up behind him and raiiised both hands, a pillow dangling from each.

WHAM!

She directed both pillows at the Champion, one after the other.

Hit? Miss? Di peered more closely.

"Mwaaaaaaahahahahahaha!" King Fletcher, champion of the runes and pillows, had successfully brought one she-snake down. Excellllllent. Now if only he could get the other two....

Dropping to his knees and almost to his belly, Fletcher started backing up backing up backing up backing right on out of there. And just in time, too, as the Slytherin's pillow went whoooooshing right over his head and NARROWLY missed knocking his crown off. Whoaaaaaa. He had felt it move on his head.

"Can't have that," the boy muttered to himself, backing further away from Evelyn. One attack on her was enough for now. He needed to get to a safe spot where he could perform a permanent stic---

WHAM BAM! "OWCH! I'M DOWN I'M DOWN! Call all the king's horses and all the king's men!!!!" Fletcher was over-dramatizing the sudden attack courtesy of the Runes professor, of course, but she had hit him solidly on the back with a great one-two pillow punch!

That was abuse! But not if Fletcher managed to get her back.....

The Hufflepuff laid low for a few minutes, moaning about being broken and bruised, while he eyed the teacher's feet. Then he gathered his energy and spun on his belly like a turtle on its shell, swinging his own pillow out and around in an attempt to knock her off her feet. It should work like a bowling ball taking out a pin.... if she wasn't deft enough to jump, that is.

Double hit!

Take that, Champion!

Di had ample time to celebrate, because [dun dun dun!] Champion Fletcher took quite a bit of it [considering that this was a battleground and all that jazz] moaning and groaning and so on. But then all of a sudden the 'Puff had gotten to his feet andd...

Run for your life, Di! DO IT!

Except, the Champion!Man was too quick. Di couldn't run or hide, so she attempted to jump into the air and avoid the incoming pillow... and ended up being hit by it.

Eep.

"You're on, Champion!" she announced, getting back to her feet and losing no time in summoning a couple of small, poofy pillows to herself. So armed, she raaaaan at the Champion, tossing the first at his head and using the second in an attempt to thwack his chest.

Maybe Miss Flores-Shepard could use this attack to her advantage.

Whaaa!? CRUD! Her Beater skills failed her! Which is basically why she had no beater skills in the first place either. Scowling, she threw the pillow with the others, intending to grab another but...her cushion! NUUU!

Making a leaping jump towards it, she half landed on the hard ground, and half on the squishy pillows she had managed to capture to show her area of land. But sadly, she was too late. Her cushion was gone. GONE!

And it was all Huffie dude's fault!

Even if it wasn't, it was his fault for distracting her in the first place, and losing her focus on Cookie Girl. Aw well, she had a new target now. Cookie girl can wait for her turn, which she will indeed...get.

Did the Professor just totally hit Huffie king dude? Which meant, she was now in the battle. Oh the joys of a battle in which the Professor was involved. Sucks to be them when that happens, but for the students...it was a dream come true. Pushing herself up with her hands, the Slytherin grabbed two pillows, one in each hand, stood up...and then ran towards the two before making an epic slide on her knees.

SLIIIIIIDDDEE...

WHACK!

FEATHER ATTACK!

Flying pillows for both Yellow King and Professor!! MWAHAHAHAHA! What was that music that Destiny hummed to herself during the cooking battle on the grounds?

Dunnnn, dun dun dun du dun dunnnn...dun dun dun du dun dunnnnn...dun dun dun du dun dunnnnn....

No! Nooooo! They were ganging up on him now, they were!

"Hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllpppppp!" Fletcher whimpered, hoping to throw the two ladies on a guilt trip for attacking him at the same time. He managed to avoid the pillow to the head by using his own remaining pillow to fend it off, but was then taken by surprise by the fluffy one to the chest. Oooh that'll take the hair off yer chest. Then came the other fluffies from that She-Snake and Fletcher was about done for.

Only... he did still have his wand in his back pocket. MWAH! The boy whipped out his polished zebrawood prize and pointed it at the two attackers, like a burglar being caught in the act. "WATCHOUT!" he shouted, flicking his wand just once to nonverbally summon two GIANT pillows from behind the Slythie and Professor.

He could see them zooooooming right up behind the unsuspecting women.... and hopefully in the next instant they would come SMACK!ing right into their backs!

Eek! Run, Di, run! So Di decided. Unfortunately, the moment she had been about to turn around, the Slytherin of DOOM! [err, Miss Flores-Shepard] came sliding towards her.

Caught by surprise, Di didn't notice the flying pillow until it was too late and...

THWACK.

The pillow caught her, full in the face. Di could actually taste feathers and squishy material. Grinning, she grabbed the pillow Miss Flores-Shepard had thrown at her and swung it, all mightily [or so she told herself, hehe] back at the Slytherin.

Dodge that, Missy!

BUT.

She had forgotten Champion Fletcher for a moment there, that she had, and the little second of forgetfulness might have cost her if the Champion hadn't shouted 'watch out' and given away that something was up. Di turned round just in time to avoid the pillow heading for her.

"You shouldn't attack a lady when she isn't looking, Champion," Di grinned, picking up a fallen pillow, duplicating it [go wands!] and tossing three pillows at the Champion.

Now to look for a place to hide!

Destiny Shepard was ready!

What was she ready for, she had no idea, but the way pillows were flying, she knew it was something EPIC. Really. Hogwarts needed some epic music playing at all times because every class she's ever been to needed it. But, being Destiny and the talented Slytherin she is, she could come up with her own battle music.

Dun, dun, dun, duuuuuuuum. Dun, dun, dun, duuuuuuuuuuum!

That..actually sounded familiar, but that was besides the point. She needed someone to hit with the pillow that was in her hand. At first she eyed up the Champion with the swishy hair. Sure, she could take him out with no problem whatsoever, but what was the fun in that? If she was going to fight UNTIL THE DEATH, she wanted a good competitor. Someone like Evelyn!

So, while her friend slash enemy was preoccupied with being attacked, Destiny sneakily made her way over and held her pillow up high above her own head..

"Pillow! Meet face!" she said, and swinging the pillow around wildly, she tried to hit Evelyn.

It was kinda hard to see with feathers flying everywhere..so yeah, for all she knew, she could be hitting the floor.

Emmy watched as the professor was whacked repeatedly. Taking advantage of the situation, she made her way slowly towarcs the trio, ducking and diving to avoid other people's pillows as she went. Finally, she crept up behind the Evil!Slythie girl (Evelyn) and swung her pillow down on the girl's head. Hard. Hopefully, she wouldn't have time to duck...

A Pillow fight? Oh that was so epic. Finn grinned as he watched the Professor get hit straight in the face with a pillow. That would've hurt if it had been anything other than a pillow. But pillows were soft, so they were all fine yey.
Finn held his pillow up in an almost defensive position the ravenclaw looked around, trying to find someone to hit, because he didn't really fancy like attacking the professor quite yet.

Mmm. hellllo Champion. With a smirk Finlay moved towards Fletcher, before hitting him with his pillow. Take that. haha.

Having successfully whacked Evil!Slythie, and seemingly gotten away with it, Emmy looked for another target.
She spotted a Ravenclaw boy hitting the Champion! Well, that simply would not do...
She ran up to him, swung her arm back, and THWACK!!!!!! she clobbered him one, right over the head with her Fighting!Puff!Pillow!

Whimpy! Who knew Mr. Champion here could whine so loud! It…her EARS! She was down! Powerless! She had a massive headache!

No not really, but she covered her ears anyways. Being paralyzed from both the moans of DOOM and shock of actually hitting the Profesor in the face, and with the slight pause at the end of her slide that left her immobilized for a split second, the Slytherin couldn’t move fast enough when her pillow was flung back towards her. ARRGGH!! Another fatal wound to her neck and shoulder! She could feel the fluffyness cushion cut her body, causing her to fall back onto the floor as a rather large pillow suddenly zoomed right over her body and towards the Huffie Champion King.

Where did THAT thing come from?

Snickering though, since it missed her and wishing that she could have seen it in slow-mo, Evelyn scrambled to get up, so she could run over and rebuild her fort. She needed to get more ammo! Grabbing the pillow that tackled her to the ground, she flung it once more towards either the Professor DOOMsday or the Yellow King (she wasn’t paying attention) before moving towards her broken fort-

WHACK!

She was hit! AGAIN! In the back of the head! "Heeeey…" Destiny? "Traitor!" What was THAT for? They were supposed to be on the same team!

THWACK!

GahhhnuuuuU!

Stumbling forward in shock, Evelyn whipped her head around, eyes staring accusingly at whoever just hit her. She half expected it to be the Fletcher dude, but no...it was someone worse.

HER.

Narrowing her eyes, the Slytherin flicked her wand out. PAYBACK! Grabbing a pillow from her fort pile, Evelyn pointed it towards it before saying nice and clearly, "Engorgio." Now, it was a rather GIANT PILLOW. A giant pillow, which was now being flung towards the girl who made her speechless in Charms class.

Take...THAT.

Davina Markovic had just found a new target!

Destiny Shepard, yep.

Summoning a biig pillow, Di adjusted her cushion!headgear [defense = top priority] and sneeeaked behind Destiny as the said Slytherin got ready to hit someone else. Probably Miss Flores-Shepard, though Di knew she might be mistaken, what with all the feathers and pillows flying about.

Once right behind the Slytherin, Di proceeded to say,

"Gotcha!"

Anddd then she brought the pillow down on Destiny's head, not even pausing to consider how informal it was of her to say 'Gotcha!' like that, out loud and during a lesson.

Might the girl manage to dodge?

Ooof.

So much for her awesome, sneaky attack. Di took a step back - or rather, had to take a step back - as a flyyying pillow hit her, straight in the stomach. Ouchouchouch!

Hands stuffed [Di had just picked two pillows off the floor] she aimed for Miss Flores-Shepard's legs. Then she let both pillows flyyy!
