Runes III: The Quileute Runes The moment you enter the classroom, you realize that the interior is.... huge. Twice the size it usually is, no doubt. There are no chairs, though there is an assortment of cushions - soft and squishy, not-so-soft and not-so-squishy, take your pick - on the floor.
|
WOW....the classroom was huge. Had it always been this size? Perhaps she had shrunk? All these thoughts went out the window when Kurumi saw the piles and piles of cushions. Yay! "Hello Professor Markovic," Kurumi said bowing slightly before taking off in a slight job towards the cushions. What fun was it jumping on them if you were at a walk? |
Simon reached the runes classroom once more, ready for another round of lessons on the ancient subject. And why shouldn't he when the last two classes had gone off nicely as they had. When the door to the classroom was finally opened, he stepped inside and smiled at the professor. "Good day professor," he greeted before walking further inside, the boy's glance finally noticing the enlargement of the room besides the fact he was only the second one there besides the girl from herbology. "Another interesting lesson I'm guessing," he mused quietly almost to himself as he made his way to one of the cushions. The gyrffindor sitting down upon iy with his quill and parchment ready in his pocket. |
Huh....... Runes. Fletcher had come to realize he wasn't so bad at this subject after all, so he had to put in appearance to today's lesson. The boy strolled into the room and nodded toward the prof. "Sup." He selected a cushion --- a very, very plump, obnoxiously yellow cushion --- and then plopped down nice and close to the front. He wanted to tell Miss Markovic alllll about how he had used Runes to figure out what the third task of the Triwizard Tournament would be. But not right now. Maybe later, in her office. |
Chloe entered the Antient Runes classroom and her jaw dropped. Oh y goodness, the room is so huge, it looks amazing. She then saw the professor and said, "Hello Professor Mavorick, this setting you've got here is amazing", Chloe said with a bright smile. And with that she noticed the foutons in replaceent for seats which she felt is awesome. She quickly took a seat on a bright red lovely fouton and wated for class to begin. |

"Doing fine, Miss Hollingberry?" Quote:
"Beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, and interest in... the mind and heart, I should think," Di said, her indication that she had overheard his remark. Quote:

Alright, so Evelyn may have gotten to class earlier then normal, waiting outside the door for one particular reason. Or person in other words. Josh. Of course. But not because he was totally her knight in shining armor and the best person in the world...well no, it was because of that. And it was also because she hadn't gotten to see him lately and she was NOT going to be letting that boyfriend stealing little snake sitting next to him again. Nope. That Slytherin...was GOING DOWN! Then again, she rarely saw those two in classes. Which is why she was so upset at the moment. Both of them? Not in class? COINCIDENCE!? Might as well mope and be comfortable at the same time. On a big comfy cushion. "'llo Prfesrr." she muttered rather quietly, scooting two cushions closer to the door. This way, she'd just...accidentally pull him down next to her if he came. Brilliant plan...obviously. |
Salander entered the room and stopped short. Was it just him or this felt like walking into a small church? He moved his eyes quickly-- no mazes, no cookies, no Whomping Willow. Well, maybe it would be a safe class after all 'no? Of course there were also no chairs. Hmm. He smiled and nodded at the Professor politely, then took to one of the larger, firmer-looking pillows and leaned back. What are they going to do today? |
I'll just pretend the RP in your office is done XD Quote:

"Hello, Miss Flores-Shepard. Doing good, I hope?" Di askked. Quote:

"Yes, I do." Di's eyes twinkled. "Nothing like a maze, though." |
Ancient Runes was fast becoming one of Mia's favorite classes. Not only was it interesting but the Professor was extremely cool as well. And of course that always helped. Even though she knew that she wasn't late, Mia still ran into the room as though her pants were on fire. "Heyyyyyyy Professor. Good to see you as always." She said giving the woman a bright smile and a wave as she headed for a bright purple cushion. Mia circled it for a moment just like a cat would and then pounced on it hitting the cushion rather hard. It made a sound like a balloon being let down or the sound of someone with a very bad flatulence problem. "Oops excuse me." |
Emmy zipped into class, greeted the professor, "Hello Professor! I hope I'm not late?" Then she scurried over to a large squishy purple cushion with yellow dots all over it. Perfect! House colour, and favourite colour! Yayy! I hope someone I know turns up... Argh! Evelyn! I didn't mean her! Oh Merlin, I hope she hasn't seen me! I know, I'll squidge over and sit with Kurumi! Shuffling over on her lovely cushion, she said, "Hi Kurumi! Is it ok if I sit here? Ooh, have a coffee cake - freshly baked yesterday!" |
hmmm hehe *glomps Maxie* :P Salander and Kurumi, too. (and Fletcher) Grayson honestly still didn't think of Runes as one of her better classes, but since she'd decided Professor Markovic was pretty cool she figured she might as well keep coming to class. Of course, she didn't quite think the professor was as cool as Professor Vindictus (just 'cause of her belief he'd secretly gone along with her potion thing at the alumni ball last term), but the Runes professor was still pretty awesome. And classes were fun. Either way, she sort of bounced into the classroom in her raspberry Converse. "Hi Professor Markovic!," she called out with a smile, before glancing at the obviously giant classroom. Interesting. Made her wonder about what they'd be learning about this time. But first she needed to get settled, and after going over and selecting as nice and squishy blue cushion, she looked for somewhere to settle herself. To change it up from her obsession with raspberry, not to mention she wasn't about to dig through the entire pile just to see if there was a raspberry one in the first place. And then her green eyes landed on Salander. And the little Gryffie from the DADA food fight. That looked like as good a place as any, although she also sent a grin over to Fletcher. Just cause he was awesome for winning the TWT. But then she arrived over by Salander, and she dropped her cushion on the opposite side to where the Gryffie girl was before bouncing down on it and looking over at the two. "Hi guys," she said with a smile. Maybe a tiny bit louder than she should have, but class hadn't started yet. Right? And she'd make sure to stop talking once it did. |

Iris walked into the classroom, rather cheerfully. It was March. Only four months until she'd see Aaron again. Hehe. The prefect was dressed in a comfy cotton summer dress, and red ballet pumps. Nice and comfy, and it meant that she didn't have to change after class. She could just head off down to the lake. Looking round the room quickly, Iris frowned. No sign of Jimbo or Leilani yet. Never mind. Hmmm... but there were LOADS of pillows. Hehehe. Iris eyed one of them. Yes, that pillow. That's the one she was going to sit on. Iris smiled brightly at the professor, "G'day, Professor Markovic! How're you today?" |
Patroclus only realised how fast he was walking, when he tripped over a pillow that was in the door way! Quote:
Being the gymnast that he was, Patroclus turned his trip into a perfect dive roll, landing in a perfect sitting position, facing the professor! "Thanks Ev!" Patroclus called over his shoulder seeing it was her that had placed the pillow in his way, a fact he was not at all angry about! Turning his head to the teacher, Patroclus grinned from ear to ear! "Hello, Professor!" |
Entering the classroom Fee smiled. She really enjoyed runes so it always was a pleasure to come here. "Good morning professor",Fee greeted happily. Quote:
"Hey dear." |
Freya was running towards the Runes classroom she hoped that she was not late for class. She pushed the door open and saw a few students already there. "Hello. Professor" she greeted her and finding herself a nice comfy pillow to sit on. |

Err... seemed so. "Hello, hello," Di said, her smile a little uncertain. "You alright, Mr. Hudson?" He seemed so, but one can never be too sure. Quote:

Once the class had filled up, Di stepped over to a cushion at the front of the classroom, leaving the door half-open so that late-comers could come inside sans too much trouble, if they wanted to. Sitting down, the Runes professor flicked her wand, causing the lights in the room to dim and die. The darkness lasted only for half a second, as chandeliers burst into gentle illumination, flooding the classroom in lights of all sorts of soft, beautiful colours. It was the last class of the year, after all... it couldn't hurt to make it pretty, yes? "Let's start this lesson, then." She looked round at all the students. "Does anyone know anything about the Quileute tribe?" OOC: The lesson has officially started. If you're hopping on-board now, just pretend that your character has been in the classroom all the time. Chatting is okay, but not too much of it. ^__^ |
Finlay's favourite lesson. hehe. Mmm. The Quileute tribe. The ravenclaw though for a moment before sticking his hand up in the air. "I believe that the Quileute tribe are Native American People in the west of the united States of America. They live on a reservation, the main one which is in the community of La Push, which has a population of about 371. They seem pretty cool. I mean...it'd be cool to like be in a group that all lived in the same area right?" Well it seemed pretty cool to Finlay anyway. |

Teehee, it was a comfy pillow. When the professor started the lesson, Iris considered the question. OOOH, She KNOWS this... Gah. Or, at least... Iris had heard of it. Somewhere. The pretty colours that the professor had cast around the room were a distraction though. It was like a rainbow, floating around the room. Hehe. It was reeeeally pretty. Iris wanted that chandelier. It was colourful and beautiful. Raising her hand, Iris looked at the professor, "Uh... They're a Native American tribe, aren't they? From around... Uh... Washington. I think." Hmm... Yes. That sounded right. |
Lavi had been trying to look for something in his bag when the lights went out. He was about to curse something when not a second later the classroom was filled with colorful light. It was beautiful and ...very distracting. Lavi pushed his hand in the air when the professor asked a question. "Isn't the Q..Qui..something Tribe located in uh Washington, professor ?" he asked more than answered. "And The population was around 400, i think" |

She cupped her hands, as she stopped speaking. Pretty lights seemed to gather in them, before seemingly floating off in other directions. Di found it fun. Text Cut: Points board! |
Finn glanced around the classroom. where weere all the ravenclaws! He surely couldn't be the only nerdy one right? Turning his attention back to the Professor, he thought about the question that she was asking. He was sure he'd read something about a legend. He wasn't too sure though, because he really couldn't remember everything that he had read. "Isn't there something about then Ancestors being shape shifters?" |
Simon listened to the answers given by his classmates, taking out his parchment and beginning to take notes on the subject. And the next question, he thought it over for a moment before raising his hand to answer. "Isn't it believed through folklore that the first tribesmen were created and descendant of wolves?" |
