Alice laughed. "Luckily there weren't that many open beds to choose from, which made my life easier."

Alice kicked open her trunk and looked at the contents inside. She figured she could leave most of it in there, and place her books and supplies in the little nightstand next to her bed.

"Luckily I am a light packer. You did a great job setting up your stuff though!" Alice said, admiring how neat Rubiey's bed looked as she pulled out her potions stuff and setting it down in one of the drawers.

Sophia smiled. "I love Ireland!" she said. "I have been there multiple times, and it is a really beautiful country." she said, smiling. "I am from Italy, I don't know if I told you that." she said, in her accent. "I still live there actually. I have to take a plane to get to platform 9 3/4" she said. "Muggles are so creative. They invented these machines that can fly!" she said. "Not like a broom stick, but like a bird!" she said, smiling. "But anyway, I am from Venice, Italy." she said. Yep, she was Italian. She didn't look it at all though. Blonde hair, blue eyes, PALE skin. "I don't look Italian at all." she said, smiling. The rest of her family did, but not her. Weird.

Sophia saw another girl walk in. "Hi!" she said, happily. "I am Sophia Lombardi!" she said, in her thick Italian accent. "What's your name?" she asked, her large blue eyes blinking curiously.

Alice hearing a girl call out her name in introduction, turned and looked around until she spotted the voice coming form a girl with a very thick accent. Italian maybe?

"Hi Sophia, it's nice to meet you! My name is Alice Page...I detect a bit of an accent. Are you Italian?"

"Nice to meet you Alice." Sophia said, smiling. "Yea, I am quite Italian." she said. "I don't look it though do I?" she said. With her blond hair, blue eyes, and paleness, she didn't look Italian whatsoever. "Where are you from?" she asked. "Sorry, I am HORRIBLE at picking up accents." she said, grinning.

Italy, nice! Heather had always wanted to go there-with her entire family.

"oh...i-i'm actually excited for defense against the dark arts..." she said with pink cheeks, remembering her reason why she was excited for it was because it had the words 'defense' and 'against' pertaining to dark arts.

"Me too!" Sophia said, excitedly. "I am also looking forward to Ancient Runes, because I love archeology." she said, remembering those Muggle movie seires, Indiana Jones. "Have you ever watched muggle movies?" she asked.

Heather remembered the one time her father brought her for a visit with her muggle uncle and watched several movies with her three cousins as she and her father stayed over for two days, but that was a long time ago, and she barely remembers the titles of the movies she had watched...but she did like those animated ones and was fascinated with the view of muggles on magic with the movies that talk of fairytales, legends, magic and enchantment especially happy ever afters.

"y-yeah...i guess." she said. "only once, but they were several movies. My muggle cousins have a lot of those, what do you call those...DVD things...I'm not much familiar to those things even if i'm a half blood, sorry..." She blushed as she sighed, but still she was smiling at sophia. "b-but...Muggle movies seems so fascinating especially those animated ones...and those talking about muggle fairy tales.." she said, not minding if she sounded childish or not, but in fact, she is just a child. She's only ten and a half!

Alice smiled. She didn't look Italian at all, but it made her unique. "I am from America actually. I've never traveled out of the United States before, so this is all very new and exciting." Alice's family was mostly from Germany though, her parents meeting there and moving to the U.S. once they were pregnant with her. She didn't speak any German, although she would hear her parents talking in German to each other at night.

Rubiey giggled too. "Yeah, I think the first thing most people did was run and claim a bed." She smiled.

Alice really was a light packer. Rubiey had over-packed like crazy; she wasn't sure what kind of things they would be doing, so had packed everything you could think of. She looked at her bedside table, to the picture of her, her mum and dad from when she was very little. "Yeah, I'm never usually this tidy, but I didn't wanna lose anything. I usually do." She smiled again.

"Oooh, lets see what you've got to wear to the Yule Ball." She giggled very girlish-ly. She didn't mean to; it just came out. She flushed; she wasn't girly at ALL. Wierd.

"Yes, I love Ireland too. It's very beautiful. We go back sometimes, to see my Grandparents. They're magical too, so I like them alot better than my mums side of the family." She grinned. "Venice! I've always wanted to go there! It seems so stunning. A city surrounded by water... Amazing." She gushed. "Oh yes, aeroplanes give me headaches. Not a fan. Much prefer flying the conventional way; by broom!" Rubiey laughed. She observed Sophia's blonde hair and blue eyes. She really didn't look like a stereotypical Italian. Strange. "You're unique! Thats a good thing!" She grinned again.

Witsy made her way to the girl's dormitory. She already saw some people pulling out their belongings and putting them away. She looked around to see if she could spot her things. she passed by two other first years overhearing something about Ireland. She passed a smile and found her things. Looking at Liam, her snow owl, she opened the cage to let him work his wings for a bit. She sat on her bed watching him fly glancing at all the other girls. This is gonna be a fun year, witsy thought laying down on her bed sideways.

Rubiey looked up from her conversation with Alice and Sophia, and saw a girl she hadn't seen before, heading over to the other spare bed, which was presumeably hers, as she opened the cage. Rubiey stood up. "Wow, that's a very beautiful owl you've got there. They're amazing creaures aren't they? What's his name?" She asked, smiling at the girl. "I'm Rubiey O'Rielly. It's nice to meet you." She said, extending a hand for the girl to shake.

Alice was a big pack rat at home, and if she wasn't careful she was sure she would be the same here. She just had such a hard time throwing things away...she just never knew when she might need them again.

"Perhaps I'll get some more decorations and stuff," Alice said with a smile. "Perhaps some Gryffindor posters?" Alice still wasn't sure how she felt about the idea of pictures moving. It was bad enough feeling like people in posters were starring at you, let alone knowing that they were making a conscious decision to stare at you.

"I have a dress in here somewhere," Alice said, rummaging through, her body half into the trunk at this point, and pulling it out, falling onto her butt with a thump. "Here it is," Alice said, standing up and brushing the dust off her butt.

The dress was gold with thin spaghetti straps and had a bow the same color that wrapped around the waist. The skirt part of the dress was like a tutu, flowing outwards and stopped just above her knees. She had matching black high heeled shoes somewhere.

"What do you think?" Alice asked Rubiey. She wasn't a fashionista and opinions were always appreciated.

Rubiey smiled. "Yeah, those images kinda freak me out, where they move. I only have this one." She said, holding up the image of her and her parents. Her dad was tickling her, and she was roaring with laughter, whilst her mum looked on with a fond smile. It was her favourite picture.

"Oh my god, its beautiful Alice! I love it! Mines in here somewhere too; probably all screwed up by now." She searched through her trunk and yanked it out. "What do you think?" She asked too, holing up the plae blue dress. She thought it was too oot, but she only had one other dress which she wasn't too keen on wearing.

''Wow that's great! My mum is a muggle too! Well, i found out in a very weird way. I was very young. I was playing with my nails and i cut them and they would instantly grow back. So i couldn't believe at first so i did it again and started to scream and shout. I freaked out. Weird, huh?''she laughed at her own story. She still has a picture in her head when she ran out of her room and started to panic.

Alice leaned in to get a better look at the picture of Rubiey with her parents. "That's a great picture," Alice said with a smile. "A nice way to remember your dad happy, you know?"

Alice folded the dress up and put it back into her suitcase. "I'm glad you think it's okay. I wasn't sure if it was going to be too much for the occasion or not fancy enough. It's so difficult to know sometimes!"

Alice watched as Rubiey pulled out her dress. "Wow! That is gorgeous!" Alice said, reaching out to feel the material. "The color is really pretty as well. It'll look great with your hair!" Alice hoped Rubiey hadn't minded her touching the dress, but she loved feeling to different kind of fabrics of clothes. She remembered when she was younger and her mom took her shopping, picking her up so she could touch all the different kinds of shirts and pants. Her mom had seemed so happy then....

"Veince is truly amazing" Sophia said, smiling. "Oh wow. You are from America?!" she asked. "That is so cool!" she exlcaimed. She had been to New York City and Chicago, and she absolutly loved it. "Where from the US are you from?" she asked.

"Wow, both of your dresses are beautiful!" she said, in awe. "Here is mine!" (OOC: Here is my dress http://www.snitchseeker.com/members/...all-dress.html) "What do ya think?" she asked, staring at it. She loved it, but she was only one person.

Lilyana yawned as she made her way up to her dormitory. She didn't exactly know who all would be in a room with her.I guess it'll just be a surprise then. she thought. She saw the room she was supposed to be in, and opened the door. She seemed to be the only one in here at the time. She didn't see or hear anyone. She walked back and found her bed close to a windowI sure am glad I got a window bed! Pft, window bed...where do I come up with these silly names for things? she wondered to herself. She got out her owl, Rein, and let him out the window to fly a bit and began getting her things in place. She hoped her roommates would be nice to her...

Witsy looked up when she heard a voice coming her way. She smiled. She pushed her elbows against her bed to help sit up-right. "Yeah, they're pretty amazing creatures." she said nodding. "His name's Liam." She extended her tiny hand in complementary to the girl's, "I'm Wisteria Hartley, you can call me Witsy. Rubiey's a pretty name. Not one I hear much. How's your first day going?" Witsy insisted. She found this girl very interesting and really nice. She smiled and waited for her reply.

Kurumi flopped down on her bed totally exhausted from the day. She had spent a wonderful time in the Room of Requirement with Adam teaching him kendo and it was the first time in a long time that she felt totally in her element. Knowing the Heather would be meeting her soon, she reached under her bed for the shoe box she had decorated with bits of colored paper that held some of her most precious possessions - namely pictures and small trinkets.

Heather was dragging her feet as she went inside the dormitory, Mr. panda following behind her. she had been out all day, exploring the castle with her panda doll as her company while making a map so she won't get lost on her way to class. She was also carrying some packages. Mr. Panda carried only one package. Then, she saw Kurumi and a smile appeared on her face.

"Kurumi!" she said, her voice a little tired as she approached her bed, put down her packages, lifted Mr. Panda on top of it and climbed up. "Had a long day?" she asked.

"Yeah," she sighed lying down. Of course, it wasn't all bad, but her emotional break down had not been good...still, finding that room that looked just like her family's dojo had been exactly what she needed. "Did you know that Hogwarts had a kendo dojo in it?" she asked.

"Really?" Heather asked, though she was already familiar with hwat kendo dojo meant, she hadn't known hogwarts would actually have one. She should ask Kurumi to bring her there once, wherever that is. After all, it's a hazard to leave her go find it alone; as big as Hogwarts is, she'll definitely get lost. "I didn't know about that..." she said as she opened one package. It was a box containing some big, chewy fudge brownies. "hey kurumi, you want some of my grandma's brownies?" she asked as she handed kurumi the box. " i wrote to my parents already and i asked to have some things sent over. three owls came by while i was at the grounds with Mr. Panda and delivered me some stuff i asked to be sent over." She pointed to a small package Mr. Panda still held. "this one's some books i asked to be sent, you can borrow them if you'd like." she pointed to another one, right beside her. "this one's the camera, i can tell." she said, picking it up and tearing the package open so she could see the camera. It looked like one of those old polaroid cameras muggle photographers used in the past and along in the package were also some film for wizarding pictures. Heather smiled, noticing kurumi's face lit up. she remembered, kurumi had been waiting for Heather's camera to come.

Oooooooh....shiny magic camera. She had almost completely forgot about the delicious smelling brownies when the camera made its appearance. She could...take...moving...pictures! The thought was almost too much for her to handle, but she tried to remain as calm as possible...but jumping on the bed was probably not the best way of doing that. She saw Heather laughing at her excitement and slowly sat down on her bed holding her pillow. Walnut did not look pleased with Kurumi's jumping and shifted her position on the pillows. "I'd love to try some brownies," she said in as calm a voice as she could, her eyes still locked on the camera. "Oh!" she exclaimed remembering her shoe box. "Let me find the picture of my brothers. I also have one of my parents..." she said as she start rummaging through the box.

Heather waited patiently for kurumi as she took one brownie and ate it. she placed the box on the bed side table so kurumi could get one as well. Oh how she missed these brownies and how it made her think of her muggle grandmother olsen. She also remembered where she put her treasured picture and rummaged through her backpack in search of her journal. she kept her favorite pictures in her journal just so she wouldn't forget. She and Mr. Panda waited patiently for kurumi to show her pictures before heather showed hers.

As she rummaged through her box, she took one of the brownies Heather had put on the table. Her eyes probably turned a bright shade of violet at the taste. They were delicious! After finishing her brownie, she found a picture of her brothers and passed it to Heather. "They gave this to me right before I left for Hogwarts," she smiled."The one on the left is Takashi, the one in the middle Ryunosuke, and the one on the right Junichiro." She really missed her brothers. She wished that they had come with the room that she discovered today...or was it Walnut who discovered it?
