Walking down the aisle of the train, JD found himself bored, and wondering where Ellie was. Looking in compartments, he found her, but she wasn't alone. *sigh* Nia...it was time for him to wish his friend good luck.
It was going to be so weird not having her around...walking in he stepped back to watch the two of them.
" Come on, have aa chocolate frog" Rex told Rene. " My story, I transferred from SweetWater Texas and I have been here since my fourth year" Rex said to Rene. " One girlfriend broke up with me and the new one tells me we are on a break" Rex explained to Rene. " I have lots of freinds, 98 percent are girls at HogWarts" Rex smiled. " Oh and I won lots of ballroom dance competions back home and teach dance lessons to anyone who would like to learn those steps as well as love dancing , atudying and having all around fun" Rex did more explaining to her. " Now tell me about yourself, ok?" Rex asked Rene.
"Well Im halfblood and a first year but im 16. I got accepeted to hogwarts a few years ago but my parents wanted me to live more in the muggle world." She explained "I finaly got them to let me come. Im moving years because of my age and Im too smart for the level im at. Im single and its kind of boring. 98 percent girls I guess its because you look handsome" She rambled on and on about her life
"Well Im not going to need lessons. I learned to dance when i was 7 and have been dancing since. So maybe if we can you can show me what you got and i can show you what i got?" She finshed
"And i love being with my best male friend a loooot",Fee grinned.
Spending time with Rex was one of her fave things to do. No lie.
She started to giggle as her best friend began calling out stuff.He was definitely back to his old self and Fee loved that. "I know you do",she laughed along with him,"just not faiiir. But i love my best friend for that."
What did this boy do that Fee couldnt be mad for at least one second ? Tsssskkkk. "I am awesome",she smiled happily,"thank you."
Fee noticed a girl sitting in a compart ent all alone and walked over to ask if she wanted company. Approaching she recognized the little Slythie. "Heeeyy Lara",she smiled happily,"all alone?!"
A train ride on your own? Absolute no no. Lara should come sit with Fee and her friends.
"Oh that sounds like busy holidays",Fee nodded. She couldnt just tell him she had hoped to see him during the holidays could she? That would be soooo clingy. Just stop it. "I am going to miss you",it just slipped out. Oh man yeah perfect.
Now it was out and Fee hid her face behind her hands, yeah go embarras yourself. "Umm.. err.. well",she tried to make a sentence,"my holidays arent going to be that busy."
" Well, if we din;t hang out together, thw=en we can't pick on others" Rex told Fee. " I do what and what is not fair?" Rex asked Fee teasing her. " you are more than awesome" Rex smiled.

Rex asked Rene.

"Okay lets waltz" she said blushing as she took his hand. His hands were smooth nad her hand fit just right in the curves of his fingers.She was blushing alittle and she hoped he didnt see "Show me what you got." smiling at him. They started to dance. "You like smart girls thats good because im a smart girl." she said in a flirty tone.
Diggy fixed him with a stare. "Well just like there are bad people in Slytherin there are bad people in all the houses." But he relaxed when Riley amended his statement. "Well we like Gryffindors." he giggled.
Riley was slightly scared for a moment. He wasn't the type to frighten easily because he was usually rather quick with words and insults but it things came to a physical match of strength the Gryffindor surely would lose. Not that Diggy was much bigger than him. When the Slytherin however let it be known the was merely kidding, Riley's concerns of safety for his close, if not perfect face were finally scaled back. "Yeah, but thats true about the houses you know." he nodded, turning to the girl sitting next to Diggy who had just began to greet him.

Riley had been listening out into the corridor at the exact right moment to hear a name being spoken by a proud and loud voice. "Lexi Denver!" he said walking into the compartment holding the Gryffindor he had been looking for and an older kid. He nodded to him and then spoke to him with a small grin. "Sorry about her, is she bothering you? Stealing candy, trying to hitch a ride home from Kings Cross?" he said jokinly and plopping down next to Lexi, bumping into her shoulder cheekily.

Hearing someone push open the compartment door, Nia looked up. Standing there was another of her Quidditch teamies, and she gave him a smile. "Hey JD," she said warmly, as she moved up a bit to make space so he could join them if he wanted. Well, she assumed that'd be okay with Ellie. Nia certainly didn't mind. The mixture of sweets and Ellie's drastic greeting had cheered her up considerably, and Nia was planning to enjoy the journey, even if the last bit was going to be hard. And sharing it was some of her favourite 'Claws seemed a good way of doing just that.

Ah, the good old days when he would be fed up of his parents and loudly shout to everyone in the vicinity that they were strangers. "And I'm not likely to give anyone a lift home; I'm taking the train back home."

Riley was still grinning stupidly to himself at what he felt wer the most genius and funny jokes he had made all day and it made him think hard for a second at why this other dude wasn't laughing. 'Maybe because he was a Hufflepuff?' was the only thing he could tell himself for a person not to laugh at his jokes.
Riley just stared at the guy for a moment at his all-too-literal answers to the Gryffindor's obvioulsy hilarious puns. "Oh I see, well I hope that train is more comfortable than this one." he said quietly. "I mean don't get me wrong I appreciate the ride back, but I just have never really liked train travel." Riley finished trying not to sound spoiled. He wouldn't have cared had it just been Lexi but this puff had used the words 'Stranger Danger' and he wasn't about to test what he did to strangers by being as stuck-up as usual. 'So the name's Riley, Riley Sinclair Gryffindor. What's your's?" he asked friendly enough.

Selena continued to pet Stark as her puffball bounced or something up and down. "I'll be entering my third," Selena said. "You?" she asked. Probably something older, because, y'know, they all seemed kinda... erhm... old? Pffft, not her fault of course. They were just all tall and mature and stuff.

Returning her smile, he winked at her as well, stepping further into the compartment. "How're ye doing Nia?" He was about to reach for a hug, but yet held back, unsure how that would look. He wasn't concerned of how Ellie would feel about that, but more about how Nia would feel more than anything.
Looking back and forth between them, he knew this wouldn't be the last time he'd see either of them, but knew for at least Nia, it might be awhile before he saw her next.

"Trains are just generally uncomfortable. I love 'em, though," Alex smiled. Ahhhh, trains. Always on time... well... usually on time. But you could trust a train. Yes indeedy.
The boy stopped twirling his imaginary moustache and held out his hand to Riley. "Alex. Alex Miner, pleased to be of service," he grinned cheekily, doffing an imaginary cap with his other hand. Hmmm... a lot of imagination going on today. "Feels weird to be introducing myself to so many people, when I'm nearly outta here for good," Alex added, gesturing to the train, but referring to Hogwarts and the school system.
Jacob ran down the train, taking quick peeks in compartments. He needed to find someone who would help him. Its Them! They were following him... Laughing, WHY WERE THEY LAUGHING. It's not funny!
Jacob reached the front compartments and they were still laughing... they needed to stop laughing. They were going to drive him mad! Why! Why were they following him. Suddenly he passed a compartment where he saw 2 familliar people. He went to a sudden stop, and slammed open the door, ran in and shut it. He looked out of the window and saw THEM pass by, still laughing. He breathed hard and slid down the door and sat on the ground, out of breath.
Jacob looked up at the two. "Giant. Flying. Laughing. Hot Dogs." he said taking a breathes between each word, after calming a bit he looked around, and back at the two. "That Horrible Mustard, That Evil Ketchup, That Menacing Relish." he looked down and back up again. "So Much sauerkraut, So. Much. Sauerkraut." Twitch

Ellie...had mixed concerns about this kid. One, she was sort of getting used to how he would burst out randomly. But on the other hand, she wasn't quite used to what he would say when he did.
And this.... this... she just didn't know how to process. So... We ignore him for now. Yeah.

Sucking her liquorice (and tongue most definitely turning black), Nia watched Ellie put the card aside. She wasn't an avid collector of the cards like some people were, but she still enjoyed the facts on them and had a good stash at home. Merlin though was one of the common ones, and she'd guessed by her companion's expression that she'd already got it too.
She smiled mysteriously at Ellie's question. "Maybe," she said with a glint in her eye. She was nervously excited about it, and it suddenly seemed so real now she had finished her NEWTs and had more time to think about it. "I need to do a bit of hard work first though." She was purposely hiding exactly was she was doing, though admittedly all those that knew Nia well would be able to guess her plans. "Fancy coming to help out?"
Ellie giggled. The image of a chicken pillow on a broom was quite... Heh. There weren't really words to describe just how amusing that would be.
She eyed Nia. That was... hmm... that sounded completely mysterious. And, curious little Ellie, wanted to know. So. Nia most definitely had her attention. Helping? Helping would mean she would know the secret, would it not? "YES." She sat straighter up in her seat, keen on Nia telling her more.

Hang on. When had Jacob arrived? And what was he talking about? Nia nodded at him, as if in total understanding. She figured it was the best way to deal with his...randomness. "No sauerkraut in here, matey," she said, before turning back to Ellie and JD.
"I'm doing okay," Nia replied to JD's question, wondering if he was intending to look slightly awkwardly between her and Ellie. Had something happened between the pair of them that she didn't know about? She hoped not, since they were so cute together.
Ellie's answer had been really rather definite. She got the younger girl's attention, it seemed. "You could help too, if you wanted, JD. And Jacob." The more the merrier, really. Or at least, more realistic in helping her prepare. "You'd have to come over mine for a few days in the next couple of weeks or so. To help me focus. And practice. You could stay over." Oh no, she wasn't going to away exactly what help she needed and why quite so easily. They were all Ravenclaws. Surely they could guess...
Jacob, Nia and Ellie - pretending JD was there after missing Jacob lol
Looking down at Jacob again, after his outburst, JD shakes his head. The kid was nuts...and the maze hadn't helped anything, it seemed to have made him worse. "Nope no sauerkraut." he added.
"Hey?" he said a little questionably to Ellie, now he knew he'd gotten himself into it with Lafay...but was she still on about the costume ball? "Thank ye." he replied taking an offered sweet. He kept his distance just to make sure she didn't smack him for something, she'd been a little odd that spring, and he had absolutely no idea as to why. "Everything alright?" he whispered to her leaning a little cloesr, hoping no one else would catch it.
Standing upright again, he looked at Nia curiously, "Practice session? Fer what, quidditch?" A small smile playing on his lips, he wondered if maybe this was one of things bothering her that night in the common room.
Jacob relaxed a bit and slowly got up from the dirty dirty floor, He could see it in their eyes. they thought he was crazy, They thought he was loopy, Their just like his therapist. trying to make Jacob feel better, when he knew the truth, They all think he's insane. He's not going to the crazy house, HE REFUSES TO GO! But Jacob would let it slide for now, He might have imagined the Hot Dogs, but the Gorilla up in the Ravenclaw tower IS real, No matter what Professor Welton Says.
Jacob took a seat, pretending that that moment of awkwardness never happened. Then something made him straighten up, Nia was on about something that Jacob must have missed, through his Hot Dog moment. "Help? Would you like to be more specific as to what we will be helping with." Sure he was going to help no matter what it was, but he still wanted to know what it was.
Lexi smiled at the boy as he introduced himself. She still thought he was a little odd, but it was okay. Weird was good in her book. Just as she was about to saysomething else the compartment door slid open and her very verbose friend sauntered in. Smiling brightly she was rocked a bit when he nudged her. "Oh stop it! I don't need a ride anywhere. Dylan will apparate us home I suppose," she said with a blush coloring her cheeks.
Stay over? Help? Focus? Practice? What did any of these have to do with one another?! Though, she fancied the idea of staying over at Nia's. She never heard much about her home, but she figured it had to be awesome. To match the girl who lived there.
Ellie gave an involuntary shiver as JD whispered to her. Not NOW JD. This was Nia time. "Of course." she answered in a barely audible whisper.
But wait. Did JD just say Quidditch? She stared at Nia. Quidditch?! Really?! Oh. SO exciting.
And she totally agreed with Jacob, nodding vigorously. "Elaborate. Go on." She sat forward more, and was about to swing her legs over the ground. But...she must've grown over the past school year because they were hitting the floor, instead of gliding over it. Darn. But still, she tapped her toes against the floor alternatively.

"Oh no i didnt mean it like that. I just meant i like a boy who likes to have fun. Like this dancing, most boys wouldnt do that because its not manly" She said afraid that she had offended him. "The only thing that bothers me is a person who isnt thierselves. You know acting like something else." she said and looked up into his eyes they were so beautiful. "i could dance with you forever." she smiled. His touch was smooth. He was wonderful and she loved the way he held her.

" We are playful" Rex agreed with Fee. I am obnoxious and sneakey?" Rex asked Fee. " Not me, you" Rex laughed. " Thank you for saying I am the most awesome person ever" told Fee. "Awesomeness runs in our frienship" rex explained to Fee.
"Yees you are obnoxious and sneakey",Fee nodded laughing.
And that was what she loved about her best friend,just hanging around having fun and laughing for reasons others would never figure out. "Meee?",she raised an eyebrow,"nooo i am innocent."
She smiled at her best friend when she heard him talking.Fee would never stop telling him how awesome he was because Rex tended to think low of himself. "I knooow",she wiggled her eyebrows,"without us awesomeness wouldnt exist.
Okay that may sounded vain but who cared? As long as Rex and Fee knew what was going on everything was fine.
