"Yea it is kinda hard to believe." even though it shouldnt had been because at least for a month she would be 13 too seeing how she had just turned 12 in April. "I know i probably sound like the worst friend ever but when is your birthday?" she asked a little abashed.

"But i really dont know what happened. I stopped running into you too around the castle and i was always either with mikey or Em." she said with a small shrug. She indeed had become best friends with the pair but they certaintly didnt take the other two place. "Ok so its settled then. We should meet up in the Leaky since thats where we meet." she began all her plans running through her head

"ooh a water park YAY! sounds awesome!" she smiled hugely "ooh and and mall? sounds great!" she reached for another chocolate frog as she thought of every thing they would do over the summer break.

Eirian smiled at Thiago's words, though the hesitation in his eyes spoke differently. Well, now he wasn't going to be affectionate. She didn't like that... The public display was part of him - it was very much a part of both of them, for it was in Brazil, where outward expressions were socially mandatory, where they had both learned love - and she disliked it when he had to stifle any part of himself for the stuffiness of British society. She didn't enjoy it herself, but to ask such confinement of someone else, Thiago especially... It was simply cruel. But Jayce had grown up in America, which was not quite a happy medium between the two for its leaning towards the English way. He didn't like witnessing that type of stuff, which eternally put them on edge. Still, offending him when she knew his viewpoint was cruel as well. Unfortunately, there was no in between in this matter.

"Eu nao disse que voce deve parar," she murmured, giggling as she patted Thi's shoulder. "Mas todos os mesmos, e polido em Inglaterra esta maneira. Eu detesto essa verdade." Urgh. She hated English social rules, but there was nothing she could do about the entirety of the culture. And her spin on it was a Brazilian spin, her opinion merely that: an opinion. "Igualmente nao gosta de ser excluida pela barreira linguistica, embora eu compreenda aquele melhor." How couldn't she? It had been torture to hear people talk in English when she had first come to America, especially when her own name came up in the conversation. Eirian possessed enough of a gift of tongues to know when she was being talked about, whether it was in one of her languages or a strange one, and it set her hair on edge. "I loathe it as well, and you know it, filho. Perhaps it is better practice for our English?" Switching from language to language hurt her brain, anyway. She could hear her thoughts in both languages, and it was murder trying to figure out what was supposed to come out of her mouth and what wasn't. "Switching so quickly still boggles me, voce ve."

" You can always join me" Rex told Luna. " All compartments full up fast' Rex said to Luna. " This is my best feamle friend, Fee. " Rex introduced her to Luna. "What are you doing for the break?" Rex asked Luna. " I am sure lucky to have a cute girl sitting with me " Rex smiled at Luna.

" Hello Ginny" Rex told her. " Have fun back at your parents" Rex said to Ginny. " I really truly am going to miss you" Rex explained to Ginny.

"See, told you I would not lose you" Rex told Fee. " I will make my last year easy for you" rex said to Fee. " After all, I want a great graduation party" Rex explained to Fee. "Well, the girl is very close to me but I could have more irons in the fire" Rex laughed.

You could floo home? Mia did not know that. Not that it helped her any because there was no place for them to connect a floo system at the commune. Maybe she should talk to her father about that. It would be easier than having to sit on the train and try and be happy when she didn't feel like it.

"Maybe he did." She shrugged her shoulders because really she had no idea. "I'm sure he will write to you though. The guy gave you a bracelet for your birthday, that to me says he's keen."

Mia appreciated Marie trying to cheer her up but she could not possibly know whether Nik was going to come and visit her or not. She took in everything that Marie was saying and she nodded her head in agreement. What her friend was saying was right and Mia knew that. "I guess I should just be thankful for the time that we did have together. 'Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all' isn't that what they say." Which to Mia was a total crock.

That perked Mia up a little. At least if she made plans it would keep her mind off other things. "Yeah we should try and find them and see what they think. Wonder where they are...?"


Just as those words had left her lips, Mia saw movement out of the corner of her eye and she turned her head to see Destiny's face stuck against the glass on the door.

And as crappy as she was feeling, a small smile did manage to spread across her lips as she took in the Slytherin. Mia turned to look at Marie and jerked her head in the direction of the door to let her know that they had company.

Standing up from her seat, Mia grabbed hold of the handle of the door and slid it open. "Destiny get your butt inside and come and cheer us up."

"You ok with camping? It will only be in the garden. And probably only for one night. Freddie will get bored or tired, or grumpy," Dylan smiled. Freddie was a little boy, he could get grumpy rather easily. And a night's lack of sleep could do that pretty well.

Realized his plan? What plan? Oh Merlin, Katie had KNOWN he was up to something. He was always up to something, but this term he had been acting stranger than usual. The thing was, though, she still had no idea why he thought she had figured it out. What was the plan about? Confused wasn't even the word for how jumbled up her mind was becoming, all thanks to the Gryffindor. "Considerate," Repeated the Hufflepuff in a flat tone, eyebrows raising. Somehow, it wasn't really a surprise that little Legend believed he was helping her not to self-destruct and blow up into a million scattered little pieces and have to be glued back together like humpty dumpty. She actually believed that. So he had been messing with her head all along, her head and her feelings. That was lovely. It had worked. "Thanks." Katie muttered sarcastically, bitterness seeping into her usually sweet, usually somewhat high-pitched voice as her dark eyes narrowed more.

Katie didn't even know what to think anymore. Did she like him? Did she not? Was it just him messing with her head that had caused the butterflies, did HE cause this whole mess and did that mean it wasn't true anymore? Because.. it had all been an act? A lie? False feelings? In truth, Kaitlynnh knew the answer. It wasn't one she liked, either. But one thing was for certain, it hadn't been the 'nice' pretend Legend that she'd come to like as more than just her friend. His act had become strange and extremely annoying, and though she would never admit it now, she had missed the old Legend. The one who wasn't only just her friend, the pain in the side that caused her to shout so much her face would turn red, the one who teased and picked on her since they were younger and insisted on calling her Cub when he knew full well she didn't like nicknames but her best friend; the one who was always there for her when she needed him most, who made her give the smallest of smiles when he tried conforting her when Monique was in the hospital and the one who, despite her constant protests that she was no damsel in distress, continued to protect her in any way, shape or form that was necessary.

It was no wonder she had fallen for him. It was just unfortunate that there was no turning back time. Why had it been him? He didn't believe her, once again. He thought she was messing with his head. Had it been any other time, any other situation, she might have laughed. But this wasn't funny, and she wasn't laughing. Dark orbs moving toward the compartment door rather than focus on his emerald green eyes, Kaitlynnh flinched from the coldness of Legend's tone, biting her lower lip very slightly as she uncrossed and then crossed her arms again for something to do. The tips of her wild curls bouncing at her shoulders as she shook her head, still not daring to look at the boy as she whispered, "I'm not messing with you. I told you that a couple days ago.." trailing off, Katie closed her eyes and just stood.

Legend didn't know what to think. He cupped his face in his hands.She wasn't messing with him? Really? But...it made sense didn't it? Why would she play with his mind like that? It wasn't cool...if Katie said that she liked him...something that serious it had to be true...right? The blond didn't want to admit it was true then, because if it was, that meant that Kaitlynnh Mae actually had a crush on him.

And HOW in the world did that happen?

He really had not expected this. Her crush on him was the reason why she wouldn't tell him who she liked? Or why she started acting all quiet? Just the thought of this made his brain want to explode. Legend let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding, while still cupping his face. He hadn't done ANYTHING to make her like him...because why would he? Girls...were strange and Katie was even stranger...it...no.

If this wasn't bad enough, the realization in Legend's brain clicked. Katie liked him. But he didn't like her. No. Legend didn't like Katie at all. She was his friend, the person that he annoyed and fought with, his next door neighbor and his sister's best friends sister. Katie was NOT someone he would ever think of as a girlfriend.

This was bad. Pulling his hands down he stole a glance at the girl. Urg. None of this would have happened if she hadn't asked him about Leah. This was just too much for a fifteen year old to handle. He had only just gotten use to the fact that all girls weren't useless less than a year ago.

"I'm...sorry." He choked the words out, his brain unable to come up with anything else. Yeah, it was fried all right. "You...just stay over there." He muttered pointing to the seat farthest away from him, as if her sitting father away would cure her crush and solve his problems. "You...only like me because I was being nice to you." Yeah..it made sense didn't it? He looked down, crushes passed by fast. But only if the person with the crush knew for sure that the other person didn't have feelings for them. Maybe...Katie still had hopes. But if he crushed them..."And I don't like you like that Katie. You're just my friend." Legend said quietly, a horrible feeling began to erupt from his stomach. He felt like a bad person, terrible, it really wasn't her fault but....he just did NOT want this.

"Oh yeah i mean i feel like i am just starting",Fee laughed.
She didnt feel like a second year at all,but the fact that thex werent the you gest at school anymore was pretty cool.Now there wpuld be littles that looked up to them. Hehe.
"Ah you dont sound like a bad friend",she smiled warmly,"its on helloween.When is yours?"

It was really true thex had stopped running into eachother and during lessons wasnt the best time to talk and have fun. Relly they needed to get back good terms next year.
"The leaky sounds good",Fee nodded happily,"starting there again."
It would be like a start fromn zero,they would plan some time together and hopefully Britt,Rex and Fee would be back to their best friend status.


"I am so going to miss you",Fee sighed falling back on her seat,"you're soo not going to have a free minute next term."
Well not that extreme but she would be trying to spend as much time as possible with her bestie.

"Reeexxxx just tell me who it is",she laughed,"but as we all know you are a ladies man so it could be any girl you know."
Fee didnt mind as long as the girl deserved Rex. She would check her out as soon as her best friend told her who it was.

Ghinny smiled at Jade. "So... I guess that wasn't exactly that you were expecting?", she asked Jade curiously. Seriously, couldn't Ginny's half-brother write a bit better. Once Ginny was going to see him again, she'd need to talk to him.

"Hi Rex", said Ginny to him. "I will and you have a good time as well", she told Rex. "I will miss you so much too", she added.

Jade was confused. "What do you mean exactly?" Jade asked with a curious expression on her ace and a half smile. She didn't exactly understand Ginny's question.

"Well, the letter didn't really have that much in, it", she answered Jade half smiling. It was kind of confusing.

"What do you mean it didn't have that much in it?" Jade asked. She was thinking that Ginny knew much more than she had said beore.

"Well, I thought... y'know, Cody would write more, he doesn't usually write that much but thought he would write a lot more, to you, especially", she told Jade.

Jade turned scarlet as Ginny finished her sentence. "Why would he write more especially to me?" Jade asked as she gulped.

There were a lot of questions coming that Ginny had to answer from Jade. "Just in the last few weeks since he's being writing to you, more than me. He usually writes so much to me", she explained.

"So he's writing more to me than to you?" Jade asked just to clarify things. This was very strange. She really wanted to meet Cody more than ever.

"YES! thats really all i can think of *giggles* any ideas from you?" she asked as she smiled, "i wonder if the waterpark is very big here." she said, kind of to her self..

"umm we could... I dunno really" she smiled "but it sure will be fun!"she looked out the window at the passing scenery. "would we be allowed to fly on brooms over the summer or are we not allowed?"

Katie was walking in the corridor, she was looking for an empty compartment but there was none, she walked into one that looked like there were two nice girls in there she opened and said "Uhhh.. Hey... I-I'm Katie Star, can I please sit here?" Katie said, great, just great, she was stuttering like she used to, then she remembered, like her way to Hogwarts she had just met someone, even if they should have met at Hogwarts.

Aiden shrugged. "I'm not exactly celebrating. I guess I just think it's time to move on." Naturally, Hogwarts was a lovely place of course and he'd no doubt miss it very much. He smiled a little as her head found a place upon his shoulder, the tips of her hair tickling his neck slightly. "Big, wide world is right." That actually sounded rather exciting. Although, how depressing was it to remember that the boring responsibilities that accompanied adulthood were now ever-approaching? Bleugh.

"Well, I'm glad to hear it." This didn't surprise him. Ella had never been one to fancy Hogwarts. Or school in general. "At least your coming to Hogwarts resulted in one good thing." He lifted his chin and grinned, obviously meaning himself. Thank Merlin for home-schooling. "Good. Would've sucked if you had to leave me all by my lonesome." heh.

"of course!" maisie folded her legs enough so that the girl could sit down, now there were four people in there! but, maisie felt comfprtable enough! "so, im maisie! whats your name?" she asked and giggled
"whaa??" maisie asked, "oh yeahh! i forgot about the whole non magic thing hahaaa!" she looked at amy and laughed, "well, i dont know, but we could find out!" she thought about this, "well, thats probly not a smart idea..hahaa but were probly not very smart people, no offense" she said as she smiled

"sure you can" Amy said cheerfully as the girl sat down "I'm Amy"

"hahaha no offense taken" she said laughing "well we'll find something else to do I'm sure"

"yeah really! i dont think we've ever been bored together!" she laughed, "haha remember when we swam in the lake?!" she asked cheerfully!

"hahaha that was soo much fun!" she smiled "remember the pillow fight in ancient runes? that ended pretty badly didn't it?"
