Kylie raised an eyebrow at Evelyn (yes, she'd figured this talent out in her first year after long hours practicing in front of a mirror). She painfully scooted herself so she was facing towards Evelyn. "You sure?"

They'd bonded in the last few hours. Questions were acceptable.

And now...he waited.

Treyen only had the little time to change after the match, and the scratches were still there, man! He couldn't have those for the rest of his life...which is why he chose to come to the Hospital Wing, because his injury was grave...if he ever decided to model, of course.

So, he just sat there, and waited.

"Head on into room two dear." Lily said, casting the two girls a glance as she walked through the waiting room. "Your friend can wait here."

"And you, I have a feeling you won't have to be here very long." Lily smiled, kneeling infront of the boy and producing a jar of salve. She dipped a finger inside, "This might tingle a little bit, but that just means that it's working." She grinned, before lightly tracing her fingers against the cuts on the boy's face, watching as they healed and disappeared on contact.

Looking back at Kylie, Evelyn tensed for a moment, not really sure what to do. The truth? Or keep it a secret. Too many people knew as it was...well no that wasn't all that true. One person knew and that as it was, was too many. "I'm fine, Kylie." she said, softening her tone and putting on a small smile.

That is, until this lady came along. SHE was the healer? Frowning, Evelyn stood up, glancing at Kylie for a moment. Sorry Kylie. "I promised I'd find her wand." she mumbled, looking towards the door before moving her attention back to her friend. "Get better, 'kay? I'll meet you later somewhere when you get out."

Smiling slightly, she gave a small little wave...and then moved out of the room as quick as she could without running. Hospital wing, was not her favorite place. At all.

Kylie didn't really believe her, but you know, that was okay.
She looked towards the door where the healer entered.

"Thank you, ma'am." Kylie said as brightly as she could. She used the chair's arm rest to try to get up.

Kylie raised an eyebrow again before giving a little wave of her own. She didn't really understand what just happened, but she held herself together and walked (sort of) through the door towards room two.

Ooooh. She was an angel! She looked like an angel!

Treyen could spend the rest of his Hogwarts' year in this place. He smiled as she said this wouldn't take very long...but then, that meant he'd have to leave, right? Aww...no nice.

Eyes slightly widened at the sight of a jar containing...whatever it contained. "It won't leave any scars, would it?" he asked, before feeling the tingling sensation she'd mentioned.

That thing...whatever was in the jar was slightly cold on touch. But he was brave enough to sit still. No scars. We want no scars.

Marie made her way into the waiting area levitating Carter in front of her with the help of Mina and Patroclus. His eyes were still open but he wasn't talking or moving at all. Moving to an area that was closest to the exam rooms Marie stood there right next to Carter. She was NOT going to leave his side.

She gently rubbed his forehead hoping to keep him awake. "Do you want us to try and set you down or just keep you levitated?" Not knowing how bad he was hurt or even where he was hurt she didn't know if he would even be able to sit.

Carter had been brought up into the stands, which Patroclus thought was not the best idea, but at least Marie had been able to gain some comfort in being able to see him in the flesh. As a group Marie, Mina and Patroclus moved him to the hospital wing. Patroclus pulled out his water bottle from his bag, "Carter, are you thirsty? Do you need some water?" dehydration would not be a good thing, if he had concussion.
It seemed that quiet a few Qudditch players were here, all with a variety of injuries, the school nurse had her work cut out for her.

Mina held the spell as tightly as she could. She didn't want to risk hurting her best friend in anyway. As she looked around the room, she turned her attention back to the couple and sat down not far from them. She wanted to allow them some privacy and all.

She had to admit they did make a cute couple and all. Biting her lip, she remained focused and waited for Carter's turn. She was pretty sure, he's be called in and they would just have to wait to hear back on his status. A small part of her was terrified, but she didn't show it. No, she would be strong. Falling apart now wouldn't do anything and she needed to learn to control her emotions better.

Ella had been on the pitch when she saw Carter get hurt. She followed the others, racing down to the Hospital Wing in concern to see how he was. There she saw her best friend Mina and Marie too. The first thing she asked them was, "How's Carter?" Ella needed to talk to both of them more too, because she hadn't gotten time to meet any of them, and plus the whole deal of her father's health. She needed girls to talk to as well. But all of this only briefly crossed her mind as she waited to see how Carter was. He hadn't looked all that well on the pitch, and she had been worried the whole way there.

Carter was amazed by the support he had from his friends. It was enough to make his eyes water. Or maybe that was from the pain in his ribs.

"No, keeping me levitated sounds better. It's like floating on a cloud." he said. If you floated on clouds when everything in your body hurt... And plus he knew he'd rather not have any part of his body feel unnecessary pressure.

"Water sounds great." he told Patroclus. He didn't even realize how thirsty he was. He'd deal with the question of how to sit up slightly to drink it when it came.

"Thanks for coming up here with me." he said looking around. "You guys are the best." He then squeezed his eyes shut as another wave of pain took over. Now if only the healer would see him soon. But he could wait. He had heard that other players were injured and he'd hate to take time with the nurse away from other people.

Oh, there he was. Ella was sure that Carter probably didn't notice her. "D'you feel better?" she asked him quietly, smiling a bit seeing the whole seen in front of her. All of them were so caring and helpful, the moment felt touching, even though she wasn't a part of it. Her friends were a major reason she loved to be at Hogwarts.

Mina looked up as she heard Ella's voice. She hadn't even seen her and didn't notice she was behind them. But all that mattered at the moment was that Carter was going to get seen and he's be back up and running soon. "Well, we don't know yet. The healer still needs to see him, but was moving and his eyes are open." she replied as she looked back over to her other bestie.
Mina smiled softly as she heard Carter speak. That was a good sign, right? He's comfort was important and she nodded as she focused a bit more on keeping him levitated. "You know we try and don't mention it. We just want to make sure you are okay." she nodded and then looked to the door. There were more people that needed to be seen and she just hoped that Carter would be see soon. The hospital wing and her weren't exactly friends, but she wasn't about to just leave now without knowing for sure Carter would be okay.

"Well, that's good," Ella smiled. The better he felt, the quicker he'd recover. She definitely wanted to spend more time with both her best friends, though. This year had been all messed up for her.

Marie wiped a tear that ran down Carter's face. What was taking the healer so long? Didn't she know how much pain he was in? Sure they had only been there a couple of minutes but to Marie it felt like hours so she could only imagine how long it felt like to Carter.

Hearing him say he wanted to stay levitated she kept her wand pointed at him concentrating so as not to break the spell. She was NOT about to let him fall now. He had fallen enough already.

He was thanking them for coming with him? Like anyone would have been able to keep her away even if they tried. "You don't have to thank me, I love you and wouldn't be any place else but here right now." Yes she knew she said it this time. She loved Carter she and wanted him to know it.

Seeing him close his eyes she had a feeling he was in more pain than he was letting on. "The healer will be here soon, please try not to move too much," she said as she gently rubbed his arm. She was so worried about how he felt that she didn't even see Ella come in or hear any of the others talking. All her attention right now was on Carter and nothing else going on around her.

Patroclus smiled as Carter was showing his usual sense of humour, it was a good sign! But Patroclus now had to think of a way to get the water Carter had a agreed upon, "Accio Straw!" a straw flew into his hand from somewhere in the hospital wing. He popped the straw into the water bottle, and leant down beside Carter, "Open wide Mate" the wizard smiled. "You played great, if tha helps!" Patroclus was at a lose as to what to say, the room was tense, very tense.

Carter smiled at Mina. She was such a great friend to him. Hey! He could smile now! That was a good thing right? Maybe he was getting better. Haha! He didn't need the healer! He just needed his friends!



"I feel alright I think..." Carter said. "I must have just gotten the wind knocked out of me." he said. He saw Patroclus retrieve some water and then tried to sit up again.

"AHH! Bad. Bad. Bad idea." he exclaimed falling back to his laying down position. He really should have known better after years of being around this kind of thing with his parents.

"Nevermind." he said in between loud breaths. "I think... I think... ahh... just made it worseee..." He really just needed to learn to stay still.



Carter opened his mouth and took the straw. This wasn't the first time he'd had to drink water while laying completely horizontal. Yup, Carter had skills. He began drinking the water. Boy, someone who had fallen from the goalposts during a quidditch match sure got thirsty.



Carter happily drank away as his girlfriend wiped his face. Aww, she totally cared about him. This made Carter happy. And she was saying such comforting things: that she loved him and the healer would be here soon.

He hoped the healer would be here soon. Because whatever was wrong with him HURT! But he wasn't about to cry in front of his girlfriend and his friends.

Waittttt.... back up.... did she just say....?

Before he could control himself he spit out a mouthful of water. He then coughed a few times.

Did he have grass in his ear?

"Pst! Patroclus! Is there grass in my ear?" he whispered to his friend.

It was true. Rumors spread around Hogwarts faster than a niffler on a galleon.

Destiny didn't even attend the Quidditch match and she heard what had happened. Sure, the stories were probably not true, but she made her way up to the Hospital Wing anyway. Barging in, she saw all the familiar faces, so it HAD to be true, right?

Right.

Pushing her way past the crowd, she stopped right in front of Carter, "I can't believe he died."

Her parents were right in keeping her from playing the sport. It DOES kill people.

"No scars." Lily smiled, shaking her head. She lightly touched his face, making sure that the salve had completely done its job, and then, summoned a mirror. "Would you like to see?" She asked, holding the mirror up to his face.

No scars. YAY.

Looking over her shoulder, she raised an eyebrow at the whole horde of children who had come in. "I need you to take him into Room Three dear." Lily called out to the child who had a good levitation spell going. "I'll be in there soon."

Marie looked up when Carter started talking. When did Ella get here? She didn't even hear her come in. She smiled at her then turned back to Carter when he tried sitting up.

Seeing the pain he was in made her wish she was a healer herself so she could make all his hurting go away. "Please stay down, you can't keep trying to move like that. The healer should be here any minute to see you." Where is that woman? she thought as she looked around. Really, they needed more than one healer here on Quidditch days.

Whoa!

Marie jumped back slightly when Carter spewed water and started to cough. Just as she was about to panic he whispered to Patroclus. She couldn't help but giggle at what he said (yeah, his whisper wasn't really a whisper). "You don't have anything in your ears, I really do love you," she whispered as she bent down and kissed him on the forehead. She then used the sleeve of her robe and wiped the water off of his face.



Holy Merlin in a bathing suit!

What was Destiny talking about? No one died. "Destiny! He's NOT dead, he's just hurt." she said staring at her friend. "Can you not see that his eyes are open and that he just spit water all over?" Okay so maybe she couldnt see the water since she had used her sleeve to wipe it off... but still, he did have his eyes open and he WAS breathing.


Seriously, where does the girl get her information from? Obviously NOT a reliable source.

Finally!

The healer said he could be taken back to a room. Looking at everyone that was there she smiled at them and then turned back to Carter. "I'm going to move you now so PLEASE stay still." She did NOT want to bang his head into the wall because he decided to try and sit up. Moving slowly she levitated him in front of her through the door to Exam Room Two.

Kay pushed the door to the room open and looked around. She rubbed at her face to make sure there was no tears. She stopped short when she saw Marie taking Carter to one of the rooms. *crap* she had missed them. Kay wanted to know how he was doing.

Well it looked like there was a lot of people there with Marie so she wouldn't be alone. *That's good* she thought. Maybe she should leave. Maybe Marie wouldn't want her here? Destiny was there maybe she knew something. But would she tell her? Destiny didn't like her any more then Marie did. Sighing she turned and found a chair. She could wait and maybe she would hear something. And she wouldn't have to be alone. Leaning over she put her face in her hands and tried not to cry.

Brant was lifted on the strecher and placed in the waiting room. still crying from the pain of his broken leg.. "AHHHHHHH" he screamed again. Man was it starting to hurt more.

Patroclus called out to Carter, as his friend was carried off into the healing room,
"No you don't have Grass in your ears!" a smile appearing on his face.

Turning around he saw that Carter's injury had drawn quite a crowd, Mina and Patroclus had come up with Carter, but now Destiny and a hufflepuff girl were here as well.
"Do you htink he would want us to wait?"

Looking up at a boys she didn't know, she wonder who he was. "I have to wait. He took a hard blow." Kay said rubbing her face. "I helped Carter off the pitch and took him to Marie. I just want to make sure Carter ok." She said looking at the door they had gone through. How did one day end up crappy. "I don't know if Marie wants me here. So when I hear Carter is ok. I will leave. I just need to know." She said looking back down to the floor.

Rafe heard the news that Carter (and like half the team) got injured. Rafe wish he could have made it to the second half, but he had certain obligations. And then Brant had a broken leg too...Yep, he heard Brant scream as Rafe ran down the hall. But, Carter? Injured? Playing Keeper? Rafe felt incredibly guilty. And it didn't take long before he noticed Carter rather dillusional, but he was being levitated to an exam room. "Hey Brant you've looked better," he said stopping by his El Capitan screaming in pain. "Umm...I'll be back, I got to check on Carter..." Rafe was a little worried. Surely the nurse would be back for their fearless leader soon. "...and get the nurse, but until then I think you're scaring the other patients..." Rafe took out his wand. "Silencio!" he said as he pointed it to Brant's throat. "Good luck!" Rafe said as he patted Brant on the injur leg and then went into Exam Room 2.
