Jordan nodded "Yep, for a year to keep me out of trouble." He raised a brow "Yeah it's pretty strict, they'd cut your hair the second you walked in." he nodded nonchalantly at the length of Jayces' hair "Its pretty hardcore if you don't follow the rules." "Magic, not really, all I knew was that my uncle did weird things sometimes and of course my family didn't really talk to him. I started to do weird things too and my mom tried to ignore it but. Cant fight magic can you?" He shrugged, unafraid to tell his story, there was nothing to it, it wasn't very personal. |
Quote:
"Heck no. There's no way it can be fought." he chuckled. Hm. To take Eiri's advice? "Well, i had similar problems. I uh.." Jay trailed over with a sigh. "I lived in a home. You know, like an orphanage. They were all muggles of course and i tried to fight it." he shook his head. "No way to fight it. I actually, uh, came here to find my mom." There. He let it out. He wasn't much for sharing his past. He was all about the present. Stupid Eirian told him he should share his background. He released another sigh. |
"Bit, yea lil' bit." He rubbed his hands together "I'm sure they do, but I know for a fact that they love the clean cut military dude thing." he ran his hand over his hair "I don't know what girls you're talking to." he chuckled. "Disobey their rules and they give you duty with duty on top of the duty." "Bummer man, I didn't live with my mom when I was younger. She left to work so we could have stuff you know." He nodded "Have you gotten in touch with her?" |
Quote:
He shrugged. "Yeah, i get it. The older kids in the home and some the adults all worked and we barely see them except for a dinner time." he stared back up at the tree. "No. I haven't. There's a lot of people with my last name. But a lot less females than males. I've searched mos of America, but i came of here to search the last few. And i figure that once i find my mom, she'd be able to help me find my dad as well." |
Quote:
"Yo dawg I'm sure you'll find her, them. I never met my dad either, but he walked out on my mom real early, before I was born, so it don't even matter to me. I got my grandma and my momma." He shrugged "Are they together?" |
Quote:
"Yeah, the ladies love the personality. The hair just helps me out a bit." he chuckled. "Someone told me i had cool eyes or something." he shrugged and chuckled some more as Dawson flashed his smile. "Impressive." he grinned with a slight nod. "Gah, chores are terrible. One time i had to clean the bathroom. Talk about disgusting." he sighed. Huge bathrooms are not fun when you have to clean them. "Yeah, well i hope i find them. But i'm not keeping my hopes up too high." he shrugged and watched as the Whomping Willow shook it's branches. "Ah, so you didn't really know your dad either? I didn't know my parents at all. Just dropped me off on a doorstep when i was about nine months. So, i don't remember a thing." he replied. "I have a feeling they're not. But i'm not sure." |

SPOILER!!: Ur guys long weird conversation Chase starred at the two as they conversed about there hair and stuff. Did they forget a girl was here to tell them there all wrong, but the personality thing is true. "Sure.........."She said akwardly. She listened to the other conversation closely."You're an orphan? |

For Spatulaclaw <33 Trixie headed out for a random walk. Because that was what she had turned into. Really random. Gah she was a very happy bunny for no apparent reason and easily distracted. Hang on. Pause. Good looking guys around. Including Jayce. Eep. So her attention was drawn immediately over to one area around the whomping willow when SPLAT! Err....What had she just done? She looked up too see that she was on the ground with a root laid out behind her. Err that was embarrassing. With a quick glance around she hoped that no one had just seen that. Gah what was wrong with her? She was such a clutz. |
Slytherdove! <3 Vashti was having a jolly good time walking around the grounds. It was so nice outside today, she couldn't resist getting away from all the homework and taking a stroll outside. Homework could wait. She was walking near the area the Whomping Willow was located when she noticed a blonde-haired girl not too far away suddenly trip and fall. Curious and wanting to make sure the girl was alright, Vashti walked briskly over in ehr direction and saw that it was none other than her friend Trixie. She looked like she was alright, aside from the fact that she did look slightly emarrassed. Vashti giggled a little once she'd reached the older girl, mostly because she could definitely relate to tripping and falling. She did that a lot herself. "Alright there, Trix- I mean, Slytherdove?" she asked with a grin. |
Trixie rolled over onto her back when she heard a voice from around her. "Spatulaclaw" she grinned before sitting up. "Yeah i'm fine. Been doing this a lot recent" she giggled. "Walked into the treehouse yesterday. My minds err..." glance over at the guys. "Been a little distracted these days" flick head back to Vashti and GRIN! She stayed sat down. What the heck it was comfy and patted the ground next to her indicating for Vashti to sit with her. "How've you been my favourite Ravvie?" she asked. There were no feathers present in her hair this time and Trixie's mood had changed a lot since the ball. She was generally a happier and Clumsier person. Probably because this was her way of getting over things and she wanted a change. |
Vashti grinned. "I guess that's a good thing?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "Gotta catch up with the rest of us clumsy people." Like herself. She was a pro at tripping over her own two feet. Following Trixie's gaze, she saw the girl staring at some of the boys over there. Oh Merlin's beard. Boy trouble. Did all teenage girls have this problem? Must have. Just one more reason Vashti wasn't extremely thrilled to turn thirteen. Which was a little less than two months away. Yikes! Returning the girl's smile, Vashti sat down beside Trixie as indicated. "I've been pretty good, I guess. Still not too thrilled about the match though." Cue slight glare and frown. She didn't like losing at all, especially since she considered it a personal offense that not only had they lost to Slytherin this year, but they'd lost last year too. Not. Cool. |
Trixie shrugged but nodded. "Yeah I guess it is. I mean it can't be bad. Although I'm trained in dancing I shouldn't really be clumsy" oh well. It was kinda like a trait now. And she always seemed to get attention whenever she did do something clumsy. Such a Slytherin she was. Attention seeker. She noticed that Vashti had followed her gaze. "Recently turned single" she explained then smiled as she noticed Jayce still over there before turning back to Spatulaclaw. Trixie smirked both evilly and triumphantly at spatulaclaws mention of the Slytherin victory at the Quidditch. "Well that is because we have a wonderful captain and good teamwork" she smirked again. Hehe! "And because they had me as Beater and Chaser" she laughed so hard. "I'm joking of course" she reassurred her. Still such the SLytherin. |
Vashti chuckled. "Slytherdove the Clumsy Dancer. That should be an oxymoron." Her clumsiness was the very reason she didn't like dancing, which was why she hadn't wanted to go to the ball. Even though she had. At least the food was great. "Single?" she repeated. "You broke up with your boyfriend?" Oh dear. Maybe she oughtn't be going down this path. She knew from experience with one of her cousins how upset a person could be over a break-up. But Andrea, that was her name, was over-dramatic in general, so maybe it was only her... Vashti couldn't help but roll her eyes. She was an idiot for bringing this up around a Slytherin of all people, but now that they were on the subject she felt the need to defend her team. "Our captain is far better. And we had some awesome teamwork out there too." Oh yes, they were amazing. Vashti only wished she could've played at the time. So sad. But the team was still amazing. She ought to go tell them sometime, just in case they didn't already know. |

Chase raised her eyebrows,"Me?...really....I don't really have anything to say....though....I guess"She said. Nothing was her past present and future. |
Savannah looked at the whomping willow in total fear. There was a fair amount of distance between her and the huge tree. She wanted to make sure she like, didn't die or anything. That didn't stop her from thinking it's branches were going to magically grow and hit her and kill her. Shrug. Anything was possible with magic. |

Turning (well, more like spinning... rather clumsily), the redhead eged closer, before stopping beside another, older girl, who looked pretty much scared out of her wits. She tutted inwardly - some people just couldn't take it. "You look scared." she said bluntly, a wistful smile on her face as she stared up at the - she checked the crest - Slytherin. |
Quote:
"I AM scared of that thing."Savannah said, bluntly."It wants to kill me !"she said. That's how everything was. They either a.) loved her or b.) wanted her dead. Most things went for option B. |
Quote:
She peered up at the girl curiously, "But I don't think it wants to kill you. Bit much for a big old tree, dontcha think?" After all, it didn't look particularly threatening... Hmm... Maybe she could go up and touch it! Now that would be interesting... |
Adelyn approached the Whomping Willow slowly. She dared not get too close, it still scared her. Instead she found a spot in the grass and took a seat, pulling out her notebook. It was a beautiful day. |
Amy walked near the tree-but not too near, the tree was still intimidating and she didn't think the gash would ever heal, she walked and walked until, ADELYN! she called, walking over, at least she wouldn't spend this break alone |
