"Well, thanks for rubbing my shoulder " Rex told Kay. Yes, she told me to use the cream for three weeks and hopefully my shoulder will heal" Rex said to Kay. "Well, the shoulder is a liitle beeter thanks to you" Rex kissed Kay on the cheek.

'I would be more than happy to teach you a song to sing for Rex." Adelyn responded with a smile. "Maybe I could even write a new one...you know, just for you. I could set it to the tune of one of my old songs, that way you have a melody for it." It was the least she could do, after all, singing someone else's love song was awkward for Adelyn, so she assumed it was awkward for others, too. "Oh, well, I hope it does! I'm going to try that. I'd really like to write him." She said, overjoyed with the mere thought of communicating with Shawn while at school.

"Oh my gosh, Jen!" Adelyn said excitedly; her first friend from one the train. This was quite a pleasant surprise, and Adelyn was more than happy about it. "I'm really good! How are you? Are you enjoying Hogwarts?" They had a lot of catching up to do.

"Yeah, I am missing someone." Adelyn replied with a small sigh. "And no, I didn't write a song for you two. My wording is just really confusing, I guess." She laughed, "However, I could write one based on you two, if you would like. It wouldn't be very hard." She smiled; in fact, it shouldn't take her long at all, less than a day most likely.

Nicolette was still finding her way around the school. As she walked across the grounds, she came across a huge tree that seemed to move slightly. She looked at it, curiously.

"What in the world is that?!", she said out loud.

"Well, I am sorry you are missing someone you like or love" Rex told Adelyn. "Well, writing the song for us two right now might not be good anymore" Rex said sadly to Adelyn. "I could use someto talk to right now" Rex explained to Adelyn. " The song may become a sad song" Rex almost cried,

" This tree is the Whomping Willow" Rex said matter-of factly to Nicolette." You should check out your facts before you yell at me next time" Rex told Nicolette sadly. I guess you can't stand me anymore ' Rex broke down and cried.

Olivia nodded,he had a very good point."good point, I can't really argue with you about that considering almost 90 percent of the timre I am happy for no apprenent reason."she said, laughing. It was a good trait to have though."I am sure you will be fine. You seem like a smart boy now me on the other hand...."she snorted. Olivia had the attention span of a carrot which meant she had no attention span at all."I can get distracted so easily it isn't even funny, I have short term memory loss too."Olivia said, with a smirk.

Uh..? Oops. Olivia looked down at the ground,I meant SNOW flakes. I mess up on my words sometimes...it's a problem I have. I think of one thing and then I say it. I must have been looking at my shoes while saying it...Olivia said with a shrug of her shoulders. Her brain was pretty much a mess.

Nicolette spun around. Rex. Ugh. And was he seriously talking to her like that? Who does this boy think he is!

"You know, you have some nerve saying things of that sort. When someone tries to make amends for what they've done wrong, you shouldn't give them an attitude! Maybe if you'd just accepted the cookies, you and Evelyn could have made peace over whatever it was you had differences over.

Nicolette stopped and looked at Rex. Tears? Why? Maybe he realized he was wrong..

"Happiness is a good thing. There are way too many unhappy people at Hogwarts, in my opinion." Not that he was one of them, but good grief, it was like everywhere he turned people were yelling and accusing and crying at each other. Who knew people his age - and younger - had so many problems? "Short term memory loss, huh? Okay, memory check! What's my name?" It was said with a grin to take any offense out of his words. He nodded when she told him she messed words up sometimes, but it didn't seem like something to comment on. Just something to know for later conversations.

Olivia looked over at Kellen,"I know right ? It seems like everyone is always depressed or has drama here !"she said, looking at him. Eck...drama. She hated it."I think I am usually a rather happy person..."she said, totally forgetting she had just said the same thing. Oh Olivia...so forgetful...

Olivia looked at him for a moment,"Kellen ! The problem will be tomorrow if I remember your name ! I am usually awful with last names, I never remember those."she said, laughing weakly. The only last name she knew was her own !

"It does get a little tedious after a while," Kellen remarked. "Wouldn't it be glorious if everyone was just not dramatic for a day?" He laughed when it took her a second to remember his name, "At least you're easy to pick out in a crowd, so I won't have any trouble remembering your name!"

"It was just the way it was at Durmstrang Ella," he explained to her with a shrug. "We lied to get out of things or to get our way." It was hard to survive there if you didn't. That's why he was so rude about things often teased people. "But I'm not planning on lying a lot here," he assured her. He didn't want this to be like Durmstrang. He was at a new school.

"You can't be so sure," he smirked, giving her a pat on the head. He knew it was a big surprise to Ella and probably everyone else who found that out. "I haven't exactly met a lot of girls you see," Patrick smiled. His first kiss hadn't been until he was sixteen anyhow. Then he took a step toward her. "But I like you Ella."

Olivia nodded, thinking about it just made her smile. A world with out drama would just be perfect...a little too perfect to be exact. Perfection bugged Olivia more than anything. Olivia raised an eyebrow as he spoke,"Thanks I guess ....?"she said, a bit unsure. It could be taken as a compliment or as an insult.

"That makes sense. I did a fair amount of lying at Beauxbatons too." Ella admitted. She needed to do it with all of that touble making she did. Although, the last incident didn't resolve itself too well of course. "Good, because you are a very good liar and I don't think I will know if you are or not." She chuckled.

Ella had quite a confused expression on. Her opinion of Patrick was that he was very flirty. So... how could he not have met many girls. Still, she was quite flattered that he could tell her this, considering his huge ego. "Y-you do?" Ella said, feeling her mouth go quite dry. She cleared her throat. "I like you too Patrick."

"Well, I huess I could have accepted the cookies" Rex told Nicolette. " Of course, since Evelyn, Kay and I have had a lots of problems, are you sure that nothing was in the cookies?" Rex asked Nicolette. " I was afraid to take that chance" Rex explained to Nicolette. 'So, am I right, you hate me?" Rex asked Nicolette and broke down crying again.

"I could have guessed that," he added with a chuckle. She seemed the type to lie at Beaxbatons. He knew he was a good liar and he's not to forget his sister and her lying skills too. "Why thank you for the compliment Miss Ainsworth," he smirked. He was glad his lying skills really hadn't diminished yet.

He couldn't help but grin at her expression after he told her. "Yeah I do." He knew it was time to move on and it was time to do just that. When she admitted she liked him, he said, "I've known that for a while."

Anya sat down on the grass with a sigh. After her father's death she had left the school suddenly and immediately. She hadn't been here ever since. She wondered how everyone had been. Closing her eyes, she lay back on the grass.

"I'm not sure that it is really a compliment." Ella said with a grin. It was useful to lie in most situations, but she hoped that Patrick wouldn't lie to her very often.

"What do you mean, you have known for a while? Is it that obvious?" She said with a huff. It was embarrassing too. She cleared her throat. "So.. what now then?" She asked. Because Vanessa and Trixie both had a thing for Patrick. "What about the other two? Do you like them too?" Ella prayed he would say no, she wanted to kiss him. Riiiiight now.

"To me it is," he replied, looking over at the Whomping Willow. He wondered when the thing would start flailing? There were enough kids around to mush. Maybe it would take out some of the Slytherin firstie population.

He looked back at her and rolled his eyes. "Ella do you honestly think us boys are immune to when girls are flirting?" he asked with an amused chuckle. They were just as prone to figuring it out as girls. When she asked about the other two he didn't know what to say. "I don't really know. For the time being I'm going to say no," he told her with a smile. Maybe they would be something in the future but for now he wasn't going to worry about them.

"Right." Ella said with a chuckle. She followed his gaze and looked at the Whomping Willow. It wasn't exactly doing much. "Well.. you better watch out with the lying. Or that tree will thump you." She joked.

"Well, you could of told me that you knew. Instead of making me feel all embarrassed right now." She said, crossing her arms. She nodded when he said he wasn't sure about the other two. Ella didn't really know what to make of that. Patrick was so unpredictable. "Okay. Well... i'm sorry for being so annoying about all of this. I am really happy that you like me." She said, blushing a little. "Because I like you a lot." She said, looking up at him wide-eyed.

"Oh I doubt it will thump me. Do you seriously want to see this face get hurt?" he asked with a smirk, pointing to his face. Sure he was a bit prideful but he couldn't contain it at times. Still, he wanted those first years to be the ones getting hurt!

"I don't think that far ahead sorry." He was a guy and barely understood girls' emotions. He could figure his sister out but not being around girls had a toll on you. "No it's okay," he forgave her. It did kind of clash with her personality though. She seemed so argumentative sometimes. "I like you a lot too," he smiled, taking her chin in his hand.

Kay saw Rex talking to that girl. Why was he always talking to some girl? Right now kay didn't care. She ran up to him and flew her arms around him. "Oh, Rex please don't be mad at me! I just couldn't take it if you left me, too." She said holding on to him tightly. "I love you and Please don't cry." She said not wanting to let go of him. She had to have him. she couldn't breath without him.

" I love you so much' Rex told Kay. " I will never leave you" Rex said to Kay. Rex hugged Kay tightly. He kissed her cheek over and over. " We just need to explain ourselves better than getting mad at each other' rex explained to Kay. " I love you very much' Rex kissed Kay's cheek again and hugged her.

Kay hold on tight. She didn't want this to end. "I love you too. So very much!" She said kissing him back. "I should have told you more about Kevin and the bracelet." She said hugging again. "Can we sit here and talk? I don't want things to come between us. And I think Kevin and I will be fighting alot in the next couple of days." She said turing away a little. She had to tell Rex everything and right now. They wouldn't be able to go on if Rex didn't know it all. "Please, I want to marry you and be with you forever, But I can't go on with this if its going to hurt you." She said pulling out of the hug just enough to see his face. "Please will you listen?"

"Don't apologize, it's not your fault." Adelyn said with a small smile. "Oh? Why is that? What's wrong?" She asked, incredibly confused with the situation.

"You're welcome." He said it confidently, as if there was no doubt in the world it was a compliment. Olivia, he was already beginning to see, tended to wonder if people were making fun of her... something worth remembering. Kellen looked back at the whomping willow and stretched out his arms, "Anyway, I think I'm going to keep walking. Nice meeting you, Olivia."

"Of course not. Your face is far too pretty to get thumped." Ella said grinning widely. She knew someone who she wouldn't mind getting thumped. Cough. Like Vanessa maybe. Cough cough.

Ella smiled as he forgave her and opened her mouth to speak but hesitated as he held her chin. She wasn't sure what to say or do but her mind was screaming. After a moment of over-reacting, she took a deep breath then did what she had wanted to do since she met Patrick. She stood almost on her tip-toes and pressed her lips against his. Her heart was thumping, she just hoped he wanted this too.
