"Oh." Yes, Ella was also pretty annoyed about that too. But it felt a lot worse knowing that Patrick actually cared. This proved that he had feelings for Vanessa. Dang it. Ella chuckled, even though he used the dreaded name. "Always here to lie if it makes you feel better." She grinned, letting his little mistake in names pass without any fatal bruising to his arms.

"Mmmm. I will definitely need time. It's going to be hard to top Pattykins." Maybe she wouldn\t even bother. Pattykins was cute. She raised an eyebrow then nodded. "Of course you can." She smiled sweetly up at him.

Oliva raised an eyebrow."Why yes it is. Your point ?" she asked, smiling weakly. She was curious to see what he would say back. She hoped it wasn't supposed to be a rude comment or anything.

"Just an observation," he shrugged. "I haven't seen someone with pink hair before." Kellen stepped out of her way with a smile, "Sorry, were you on your way somewhere?" He didn't quite know why he was apologizing, since he'd been the one to get run into, but he supposed it was the polite thing to do.

Olivia laughed a bit,"Most people have not."she said with a nod of her head. Olivia looked up as he spoke, deep in thought. She knew she was going somewhere but she couldn't remember bwhere."Eh.. not really. I was just kind of wandering around you know...."she said with a shrug. Lies."So what's your name ? Im Olivia."she said, holding her hand out to him.

"Oh. I'm Kellen. Kellen Stern," he took her hand and shook it, a little embarrassed that he hadn't introduced himself earlier. "I'm sort of wandering as well. Stretching my legs and taking a walk around the grounds before they get covered in snow. So what year are you in, Olivia?" She looked around his age, but sometimes it was really hard to tell at this school.

" Another great song by a great singer" Rex told Adelyn. "So did you write this song like Maddiee writes songs?" Rex asked Adelyn. "Watch out for the Willow" Rex said to Adelyn, Maddie and Kay as Rex ducked fast.

Kay realized that her new friend was sad. "I'm sorry I made you feel bad." Kay said to Adelyn. "I would really like for you to teach me if you can." She said hoping that the music would make her happy.

Taking the cream from Rex, Kay looked at it. "Sure. How much do I use at a time?" She asked opening the cream. "I will dance all you want. But the singing scares me."

"That song imparticular, no, I didn't write, but if you want, I can sing one that I wrote for you. Only if you want me to." Adelyn said, calmly at first, but sped up in a panic as she ducked quickly. She looked back up at Rex with a terrified look in her eyes, but tried her best to stay calm. "I've written quite a few." She explained, trying to distract from how scared she was.

"Oh, no, don't apologize. It isn't your fault." Adelyn said with a small smile. "I'll be able to see him when term ends, so I've just got to make it until then." She replied, thinking more about music than the actual topic at hand; it's what she did when she didn't want to face her real problems. "I'd love to teach you, Kay. I'd seriously be honored." Her smile grew wide as she discussed music.

"I appreciate it," he told her with a smile AN ACTUAL SMILE. He was good at reading people so he had hints when he knew they were lying or if they were happy or annoyed out of their wits. He was an okay liar himself. He wondered if he could get Ella to believe a little lie. "Your shoes are really ugly," Patrick said, looking down at her feet.

"Oh I'm sure it won't. You'll just need to think with that brain you don't use often," he comforted with a sneer. He couldn't be all nice. It wasn't in his nature. "How many boys have you kissed?" Patrick asked, looking at her. He was honestly curious in her answer.

She wrote a song about Rex. Oh this she had to hear. "Well can't you write to him anyway. Use your owl to take it to hogsmeade and from there they will seed it the muggle way." Kay said trying to make Adelyn a little happy. "Oh you wrote a sang about Rex? this I have to hear. Please." She wanted to hear what Adelyn had wrote and how it sounded.

"Oh, can I really? They'll do that?" Adelyn asked Kay excitedly. "And no, when I said 'for you' I didn't mean like, I wrote it for him. What I meant was that I can sing a song a wrote, you know, for the two of you. If that makes sense." She laughed, slightly embarrassed. "I haven't known him long enough to write a song for him!"

As Patrick smiled at her ever so nicely, Ella grinned wider at him so much that her cheeks hurt. He was a cutey. Finally snapping out of it, her expression changed abruptly as he insulted her shoes. "What!" People can't just say that sort of thing to a girl. Didn't this boy know anything? "They aren't ugly!" She looked down then nodded. Yep, her shoes were lovely today.

"More insults huh? Is it 'bully Ella day' or something?" She asked seriously. Okay, Patrick was usually like this but he never usually threw insult after insult at her ..*pouts*.. "Uhm." She said, raising an eyebrow at his question. "A fair few, but none recently." Maybe saying 'A fair few' was a little too much. "Why do you ask Patrick? How many girls have you kissed?" She asked with the same curiousity that he had.

Patrick burst into laughter as she look clearly insulted at his little lie. This is what he meant. Girls were just too over reactive when it came to things like that. Clothes! He didn't care how he dressed and if people liked it or not. "It's time for Ella to learn how to tell when I'm lying," he smirked, his face coming close to hers. "Or else she may get herself in a lot of trouble," he whispered. Then he backed up.

"I'd say it would be a good holiday to celebrate," he said satisfactorily. He listened with an interested expression as she said 'A fair few'. What was that suppose to mean? 3, 5, 7? Then she directed the question back at him. "Only 2," he said honestly, looking down at his feet. That was pretty lame for a guy like him.

"That would be awesome." Now Ella owed soccer games to four guys. Better get her ball out and head to the courtyard. She smiled at him and said, "We'll play soon," she promised.

Ella was pleased seeing Evan's reaction. She could tell that something she had said probably had amazed him. "You know, I never knew I was a wizard for eleven years. I needed something to do while then," she chuckled. Football was plain awesome, and she was glad that she had learned how to play it. It was one of the biggest parts of her life now, apart from her family and friends.

She observed his expression as he continued. "My lucky ball? You're sure?" Ella asked with a you've-got-some-nerve-to-say-that type of smile. Sly in a way. Something in his expression said that yes, the lucky ball was the one to play with. "Alright, then! Wanna go now?" she asked, getting up with Love flapping off Evan up onto Ella's shoulder. Ella had almost forgotten she was there.

Evan nodded with a smile. So, Ella was a Muggleborn, wasn't she? He knew better than to ask such a thing, and what else could it be, anyway? "Football is something to keep you busy." he said with a grin.

Ah, Love bird was still here, wasn't she? He'd almost forgotten it! He didn't get up until the bird landed safely on her shoulder. Although it was such a nice bird, it had wings. And Evan didn't like flying things.

Nodding, he got to her bird-less side and followed her.

Marilyn frowned slightly, feeling uncomfortable with her mother knowing anything about Rafe's condition. "I don't really see why we'd have to mention anything about that. It's really none of her business either way." The blonde shrugged, sitting the now empty plate aside. The "wolf" thing wasn't an issue, as far as she was concerned. Rafe would never hurt her, and Marilyn was well aware. And if they ever got to that point...where marriage...and everything else that goes with it becomes an issue, than that'll be dealt with at the appropriate time.

No thinking about that right now, though.

Something more apparent to Marilyn...was that when Rafe smiled, it lite up his whole face. It was quite a beautiful sight. The pictures she was seeing of the new baby fiercely reminded her of Rafe. It had to be something in the smile..."She's gorgeous..." She grinned brightly down at the photos...thinking that she could not wait to meet this little one. "Good genes must run in your family...Aren't you so lucky?"

Ella scrunched up her nose and hesitated for a moment. Of course he was lying. Her shoes weren't ugly. "Okay. I'll make sure I keep my eyes open for that." She said with a serious expression. Ella was a fair liar herself, but usually wasn't so easy to take so seriously. "Do you often lie to people then Patrick?" Her eyes narrowed.

Ella snorted. Pfft. "I hope that was another one of your lies." Although she knew he was kidding, it was still annoying to be insulted regulary. She raised an eyebrow. "Two?" Ella repeated. That couldn't be right. "Wow.. i'm quite surprised about that Patrick." Maybe she should kiss him, to boost up the number a bit. Hehe.

Olivia laughed a tiny bit as she noticed he was embrassed. She could read it all over his face. She was always very good at that you know...telling people's emotions."Nice to met ya." she said with a nod of her head, pink hair falling in her face. She quickly flipped it out and smiled at him.

"Fifth year. You ?"she asked, waiting for his surprise. She was always told she looked much older than fifteen. Perhaps it was thr bright hair and the make up ? Or maybe the nose ring...? Who knows."I hate snow. It's so cold."Olivia grumbled. She liked really hot weather.

"Oh, I see. Well Do you have a love song I could learn to sing for Rex?" Kay asked looking at Rex and hoped He would finish telling her now much of the cream to use. "Yes the Owl mail wil do that. Well at least thats what my friend told me." She said hoping that her latter would get there.

She watched Rex and waited for him to move his robe enough for her to put the cream on. "Rex are you ok?" She asked waitting.

There was that flip of the hair again. What was it with girls and always flipping their hair? Didn't they realize it was incredibly distracting? First Elora, and now Olivia. Kellen blinked and shook his head a little, smiling,"Fifth as well. I guess we're both going to be suffering through OWLs together then, yeah?" Fifth year... seemed about right. He'd grown pretty used to a whole bunch of firsties wearing tonnes of makeup, so finding someone older who wore the same amount... was actually a bit of a relief? Was that the word?

"I like watching snow," Kellen shrugged, "and playing in it, I guess. But only when it's the big, fluffy flakes. Those icy little pieces that get blown around and sting your face? Not a fan."

Olivia smiled back at him as she saw him smile,"What are you smiling about ?"she asked, with one brow raised. She had not said anything funny ? Maybe he was laughing about her ? Oh no that wouldn't be good, getting made fun of was never fun."Don't even get me started about OWLs"she said, shaking her head. She was an awful test taker. She always got so nervous before taking exams."I am so nervous."she said with a nervous smile.

Olivia snorted."I hate snow. I like weather where it isn't freezing.she said and then paused."Snow is cool though, at some times anyway. There is such thing as too much snow where it just gets annoying."she said."I HATE THOSE BIG SHOES FLAKES !"she said, looking up ay Kellen. Those hurt so bad.

"Do I need a reason to smile?" Kellen raised an eyebrow, the smile turning into more of a smirk, but he answered her question anyway, "I was just thinking of how easily I get distracted. Kind of like a cat. Any movement and -boom!- attention gone." This was demonstrated by raising his hand to the side and snapping his fingers, his eyes instantly drawn to the motion. "I'm not nervous yet. Get back to me in another few months and all the hems of my sleeves will be tatters from me worrying them."

"Big... shoes flakes?" He couldn't say he'd heard of those before, "What are shoes flakes? And I agree, when the snow is all hard in some spots and pure slush in others... that's when you know it's time for spring to come or you to go south, am I right?"

Jen was just wandering around the Womping Willow when she suddenly spotted her old friend, Adelyn, from the train. "Hey Adelyn!" Jen trilled and skipped over to her. "How are you?"

" Well, I know you like dancing" Rex told Kay. " I will never make you sing unless choose to sing" Rex said to Kay. " Well, you just use a little cream on my shoulder" Rex explained to Kay.

"Did I miss something?' Rex asked Adleyn. "Are you missing someone?' Rex asked Adelyn. " You wrote a song for me or did you say Kay and I?' Rex asked Adelyn. "Writing a song for me or both of us is really remarkable" Rex told Adelyn." I am so honored to have a song written about me or Kay and I" Rex explained to Adelyn.

"Well, you are going to show me how to kick the ball properly?' Rex asked Ella.
" I can't wait to play against you or be on your team" Rex said to Ella. " Gryffindors have to stick together" Rex laughed. "Would you ever watch me play American football?" Rex asked Ella.

Rex took off his robe slowly. " Here is the cream ' Rex told Kay. Put the cream on my shoulder lightly and not liberally" Rex said to Kay.

Taking the cream, Kay put some in her hands and rubbed them together. She didn't want it to be cold when she put it on his shoulder. Rubbing in little circles, she made sure that she didn't get it on his robes. "I hope this helps. Is this all the healer did for you?" She asked putting a little more of the cream in her hand. Warming it too, she rubbed it in until it was white. "I hope it makes your shoulder better soon." Kay said kissing his cheek.
