Cody smiled bashfully, giving a small nod. "Yeah, we sort of had an argument and I haven't talked to her yet." Sort of a wimp. Er, well, a lot of a wimp actually. "Your welcome Sav!" He liked her, even if relationship wise they didn't work, but Cody wanted to see her happy.

Cody shook his head, it was amazing. He'd thought Travis was happy. "Well, I feel like the world's worst best friend right now." Sigh. He failed, epicly. "I'm happy for you and Travis though. He's a great guy. He's basically my best friend." Therefore, he was awesome.

A smirk grew on her face and she poked him lightly in the chest, "CHICKENNNNNN."She stated with a grin still. Hey, she was telling the truth."What was the argument about ?"Savannah asked with her head tilted to the side. That was one thing about Conrad woman, they were always nosy. Cody was her friend though so she like HAD to know.

"Best friend, seriously ?"Savannah said, now smiling. ECK ! This was kind of exciting. "I hope we last for a whileeeeee !"

Or at least until Aiden and Ella break up >.<

Wow, she was rather lame to say something like that. She was a lame girl, Violet was. She was lucky that he loved her. "Well, I'm sure he won't be able to resist you, Violet." Because well... she was awesome?

He was super skinny? Really? "Are you sure that I'm the one that super skinny? You look like a stick too." He laughed, hoping that she would get that it was a joke. Though she really was skinny. "You're not fat. I am. And I won't tell you how much I weigh." 'cause that was like a woman's age; there were just some things that he didn't want to talk about.

"I'll visit you, I promise. And you will visit me too, right?" He hoped so. She could maybe get someone to Apparate her over to see him in New York.

Cody pouted, rubbing his chest where she poked him. "I'm not a chicken!" he whined, giving her a small glare. Well, at least he wasn't a HUGE chicken. Raising an eyebrow, Cody fake whistled, attempting to look innocent. "Well, someone's certainly NOSY." but because she was one of his closest friends, he could deal with it. "The Jackson's."

Cody smiled, nodding slightly, "I do too, Trav is a great guy." And he was, or else he wouldn't be blessed with the title of Cody Russell's best mate besides Torin.

Savannah snorted, rolling her eyes. "That's funny, Cody."She said, still laughing. He was a huge chicken even Kody had admitted it!"Kodah told me you were a chickeeeeeen." If he didn't admit it now she was going to do a chicken dance just to bug him. Hehehe."The Jackson's....?"Sav said, her head tilted to the side. WTH ? She was more confused than before.......

"I'm just scared he might like cheat on me or something...."

Bella smiled sadly, not really knowing what to say or do. She too had lost those that are dear to her. She took a step forward and gave him a small hug, before stepping back. This time she didn't look away from him, even though she blushed.

"Im really sorry for your loss" She started, tears sprang to her eyes, "I too have lost both my parents, so me and Luke live with our Aunt and her husband." She told him, a few tears fell down her cheeks, but she wasn't going to look away, she wasn't going to hide them.

"It must be really hard for you, being an only child?" She asked him, whiping some tears away.

Bella breathed deeply to stop her tears falling, I told myself i wouldn't cry any longer, she told herself whipping the rest of the tears away and smiling sadly at Kevin. "Im sorry" She said.

Violet kept on saying "Yeah" gloomily until he said he would visit her and she could visit him. "But I don't want you to visit, I want you to stay!" she said with a pout. She leaned her head against his leg as she clinged to him. Trying to think of ideas for him to stay. "Ooh, if I handcuffed us together so you couldn't leave would you go all Prefecty on me?" she asked. Hehe.

Kevin smiled and said "I am used it Bella and well i still miss both of my parents and well things have been pretty tough for me" Kevin hugged Bella as she was crying

She smiled sadly, here was a person who had gone through the same pain as she had. Someone who understood her.

"Do you want to talk about it?" She asked quitely sitting back down on the shaded grass.

Bella looked up at him, and his handsome face to smile. Telling him she would listen, just like any other would listen for her.

Kevin looked at Bella and said "Not really it is still a bit too painful to talk about"

She nodded, she knew how much it hurt to talk about people you lost. Sighing she stood up again, giving him another sad smile.

"It's alright, i know how painful it is to talk about it" She told him quitely, giving him another hug.

Bella paused, not really knowing what to say next. She just looked at him for a few mintues before casting a look up at the large, old castle. With it's many students and Professor's strolling in or out. She looked back at Kevin.

"I-ah best get going then," She started pointing up at the castle, "You know, homework and such" She took a few steps back, still looking at him, smiling. "It was really nice meeting you Kevin, and thanks again for catching me when i fainted. I'll see you around the castle sometime" She added last before turning and making her way up towards the castle. Thinking she should find Maura and talk with her.

Kevin smiled and said "Sure see you around Bella" Kevin sighed alone again he had to make an effort to make more friends

With lessons over and exams still to be completed, Preston Kingsley decided to take a much needed walk out on the grounds.

Hands clasped tight behind his back, he strolled, alternatively closing his eyes to breath deeply, or opening them and turning his face skyward to watch the clouds. The sun felt warm on his face - perhaps a bit too warm, considering the jacket and long sleeves he always wore - and the slightest breeze disrupted the curls atop his head.

He had parchment tucked into his jacket pocket and a small self-inking quill, shrunken still smaller, in another. Seeing as he never got any writing to Eleanor done in his office, he thought he might give the grounds a chance.

Plus, what was she always telling him? Out of the books and into the world?

He just wanted to get outside. Though he was spending more time outdoors than he wanted to with Quidditch practice, but he still wanted to be outside and he found himself winding through the grounds.

He saw Professor Kingsley taking a stroll as well. "Hi Professor," he said brightly as he tried to hide a yawn.

Preston had stopped walking and was standing on the path contemplating a cloud that he though, quite oddly, looked remarkably like Bathilda Bagshot, when he heard someone addressing him.

Turning, Preston nodded in greeting, hands still behind his back. "Good day, Mister Greenwood. How are you?"

He looked up at the Professor who seemed to be blotting out the sun with his height. He really needed to get his hands on some skel-grow. "Oh I'm alright," he said as he caught up to the professor. "How are you doing sir?" he asked finding it odd to see a professor out and about doing exams.

"I'm doing well. Just out for a walk." And that was all the young man needed to know. Preston was quite particular about not blurring the lines between students and teachers.

"Exams coming along well? Or focused on summer already?"

Cody rolled his eyes, smirking slightly. "Nekoda? Nekoda says a lot of things about me, most aren't true." Though the chicken bit might have had just a weeeeeeeee bit of truth to it. Nodding at her confused expression and tone of voice, Cody tilted his head, "Yeah, like Michael Jackson."

Raising an eyebrow, Cody shook his head. "I know Travis, he wouldn't do that." And if he did, Cody would hex him into next week. Even if he was his best friend.

Ugh. She was making him sad now.

He wasn't supposed to be sad now. He didn't want to be sad now. People needed to stop wanting him to stay so much, or it would make things harder than they were already.

"I want to stay too. But I can't. I'm sorry." And he felt terrible, because he was going to miss Violet so much. "If you did that, there would be the issue of us both being in different Houses." He wouldn't punish her if she tried though, seeing as she was only doing it because she didn't want him to leave.

Savannah rolled her blue eyes as he spoke, "Yes, Nekoda. My Bff, your cousin ? Yeah, her. Did you like forget about her or something ?"Savannah asked. Well, if he did that wasn't too cool. Nekoda was too awesome to ever forget. Okayyyyy.....? So he did mean like THE Jackson's. Sav snorted slightly. It didn't sound like it could be that big of argument."Why were you fighting about Michael Jackson....?"She asked a weeee bit confuzzled. It was just just a random thing to fight about.

Savvy shrugged her shoulders, "Well, he did break up with his girlfriend for me and that kind of makes me worried." Even though ti shouldn't. Savvy was wayyyy more awesome than that other girl.

Okay, so Torin staying wasn't a option. "Then I'll leave Hogwarts, and then I could live with you forever." she said. So she was getting ahead of herself there but she didn't care. "And then you and Brody could adopt me!" she said. 'Cause she could totally picture that.

Gah, why wasn't everyone a Slytherin nowadays?! "Well we don't need to go back to our Houses, we can have someone bring our stuff down and stay in the corriders." she replied. "Or I could just handcuff us together on the train." she added. That was if they wanted to do it the easy way.

Diggy's face flushed guiltily, "Focused on summer to be honest sir," he told him softly. "I've just finished my muggle studies O.W.L," he explained. That was an easy one but he knew they were going to get harder.

Cody shook his head, "No, I tried, I totally tried, but my cousin refuses to let me forget her." Grr. He didn't like the Russell side of the family, the Bakers were totally cooler. Like G and Jimmy! He loved them! "Because, Dee wanted to have 6 sons and name them after the Jackson's. I refused." And then he dissed their names. It really was quite the petty fight. Meh.

Rolling his eyes, Cody smiled, "That doesn't mean he's going to leave you too Sav. It just means he likes you better than the other girl." Duh.

Preston smiled. "A good, honest answer," he said chuckling. "I'd be suspicious if you said anything but that."

He looked over his shoulder out at the rest of the grounds.

"I'll let you be on your way. I'm sure you didn't come out here to speak with professors. Some time to relax is greatly important between exams, particularly OWLs."

He paused, before adding, "And Mr. Greenwood? Good luck."

"Not Really." she said, shrugged. Melanie's eyes widened slightly as she noted how surprised he looked. "Sorry, I just don't. they're not bad to watch, but I'm not a good player. And I don't like letting people down." Or falling on my face. Melanie simply shook her head, a tiny unamused grin on her face, as he laughed at her clumsiness. Not nice.

Ohhhhhhh! That sounded good! mmm, especially the fudge part... "I say YUM!" Melanie declared. "Sounds like a good combo to me."
