Watching the girl in the mirror reflection, Cameron frowned. What a weird child. She liked her!
"Ten? REALLY? You didn't even jump or do an awesome landing or anything.." A seven was more appropriate.

I am me? What was this chick a 'claw? That was one of those 'you have to think' answers. "Uhm. Can't you just reply normally?" She wasn't in the mood for that. Her hair looked retarded. "I'm Cameron or 'me' or however you speak, chikka."

Klaudette put her pillow down and then sat on it like Little Miss Muffet without the spider. Klaudette thought she did a ten and she would defend her reigning title. "But I used an object and turned back in the opposite direction without slipping. That's harder than it looks. I still say ten." If only Olie was here, he would defend her.

Klaudette tilted her head. Reply normally? "I did reply normally," she stated with a shrug. She heard the word chikka and no idea what it meant. Did this Cameron girl already know her name. Maybe. "It's Klaudette," she replied back. "Why are you looking in the mirror?" she asked and then added, "It doesn't talk back does it?"

Cameron watched the girl sit down on her pillow. She was so little and kyute. When she voiced her defense, the Gryffindor smiled. "Alright.. a nine then." But she did think it was pretty cool anyway.

She raised an eyebrow. Normally? Not really. But she let it slide in good will. She was like.. eleven? Eek! She was tiny! "Right. You speak in riddles then." Excellent. She'd stumbled upon a Ravenclaw. Exciting.
Klaudette? "Ooooh! That's a pretty name. I'll call you Klaudie." She'd been thinking Klau but it sounded to much like 'Claw.. and Cameron despised the blue coats and this girl seemed sweet.. odd but sweet.
"I didn't have time to get ready this morning.. I was just checking exactly how horrible I looked.." It was definetely horrible.
Ooh! Did it talk? Hmm.. "I don't know.. why don't you ask it?" She said with a laugh.

Nine. Hmph. "Oh well, everyone sees things differently. " she commented with a shrug as she began to put her feet on her knees so they wouldn't touch the ground. Flexibility was key for this.

Klaudette tilted her head. "Riddles? I don't know any riddles. My papa told me one once, something about a chimney and up or down, but I don't remember it." she commented and then added excitedly, "Do you know any?"

Klaudette would have coughed if she could. Klaudie? What is Klaudie? "No no, I'm Klaudette," she said again so the girl would understand what her name was. "You must be confusing me with someone else." she added with a smile. It was possible.

Klaudette ignored the girl's grumbles about her hair. Klaudette thought she looked fine and the girl had no need to worry. Klaudette turned her pillow so she faced the mirror. "Mirror, mirror on the wall, tell Cameron she doesn't need to worry except for maybe losing a button."

Ooh! She was diplomatic as well. Hm. Most eleven year olds were selfish. A refreshing exception this little kiddo was. "Mmh. If I was a more compassionate person I'd give you a ten.. but people tell me I'm not." She shrugged. Life wasn't fair.

But.. Cameron stared at her for a moment before she shook herself. Seriously. This chikka was confuzzling. All she'd done was ask her for her name.. and she came up with some philosophicaquizzical response. Honestly. "No. I don't speak in riddles.. being direct with people get's your message across.." It also got you into trouble if you weren't careful.

Klaudette was loooooong. "But Klaudie is a nickname. Why can't I call you Klaudie?" She was being totally unreasonable here. Nup, she wasn't confusing her with anyone. "I don't think so.. Klaudette is a rather unique and individual name. I'd remember if there was two of you." Yeah, the other might be easier to handle.. ack.

Watching her in the mirror's reflection as the spoke, the red-head frowned curiously. Erm..
A button? "Um.. why would I lose a button?"

Compassion? What did that have to do anything? She shrugged. "Well I'm sorry people think that. I don't see how people can rate compassion. It all depends on the situation." she commented.

Oh. She didn't speak in riddles. Hmm. Klaudette thought other wise, but she would have to see how this girl spoke. "Well, I like riddles. Makes you think," she responded and pointed to her brain and then added, "but not everything has a direct message, sometimes you need to figure out things on your own to truely understand." She looked around and waved her arms in a big circle. "Like this castle. If I had used a map, I would have never found all the nooks and cranies in this place." she stated.

Ohhh. Klaudie was a nickname. She hadn't had a nickname before. Klaudie. She could deal with that. "I got it now. And you can call me that." she replied with a smile. She may not respond, but she could call her that. Klaudette then nodded, "Yes it is unique and I love it. My parents must have had some fairy god mother come to them and tell them this name was for me."

Klaudette turned to the girl about the button. "I don't know, ask the mirror. It knows all."

Cameron was starting to think this chikka was mature beyond her years. The answer was smart as well as eloquent. "Erm.. well.. yeah I suppose." Needless to say, she was stumped by this girl.

So, she liked riddles but she didn't use them? And huh? Cam was confused. She listened and frowned. "Underlying meanings can be misinterpreted.." When she was younger, she had a really hard time understanding tone in people's voices and when they were being sarcastic and when they weren't. Sometimes direct got things across without so much room for error.
mm? Her analogy made the sixth year frown. "That's only because they aren't recorded on the map.." Riiight?

She could? She grinned. "Klaudette is too long to say.." Klaudie was short and sweet and Cameron gave everyone nicknames. Even when they didn't necessarily want them.. *grin*
She loved her name? Heh That was a first. Most people hated their names for whatever reason. She didn't mind Cameron. It wasn't the worst thing about her. "A fairy god mother.." Cameron asked slowly. Um... huh!?

But.. Okay. "Mirror, mirror on the wall, what does Klaudie mean when shes speaking about my button.."

Trixie was wandering the floors of Hogwarts, having a bit of a moment. She wasn't her usually happy self and skipping around the castle but then again it was probably a good thing because recently she just happened to be walking into anything and everything. In fact, everyone. Including professors. Oops. But anyway she wasn't "happy" because well, it wasn't that long until the end of term and that meant that a lot of the older students were going and that included her favourite prefect and that was just sad because she would miss them all and....

Ooooh. Mirror.

"Hello there" she grinned to... err....herself.

Why hadn't Trixie ever spotted this before. Checking her image in the reflection quickly, because Trixie totally wasn't vain at all or anything *Shifty* The fifth year flashed a quick smile, satisfied that her appearance was perfectly fine before almost going off and seeing what else she had been totally unobservant of and had completely ignored her time she had been here. Ah well at least there was still next term and hopefully the one after, until Trixie Graduated, but the blonde was still distracted by the fact that there was a random mirror in the middle of Hogwarts.
