She was loosing a shoe…she was loosing a shoe…
Man if that didn’t bring back memories she didn’t know what would.
And just like she always had in Hogwarts, Aggie was once again sporting purple shoes. They may not be her old reliable purple tennis shoes, but they were purple non-the-less. Tobi wouldn’t have noticed her without them – right? And if he didn’t, a swift delivery of one purple clod shoe to the foot or shin would have clued him right up anyway.
She stopped, putting her hand on the doorframe to steady herself as she pulled the shoe back on her foot. When she stood up her chandelier earrings were swinging past her face and back, causing her ears to hurt just a little. Maybe it wasn’t such a good idea to look so girly…
But it was too late now.
A few young men stood in the entrance hall offering up greetings. She risked a glance at both of them. She didn’t recognize either of them. In fact, she hadn’t been expecting to know many of the people at the dance tonight. In fact, Tobi hadn’t answered owl and she wasn’t sure if he himself was even coming. But the chance of seeing him was worth the chance of being alone for the night.
“Hello Gents!” Aggie said warmly with a smile. Wouldn’t hurt to at least try to see if someone might remember her.

"Thanks, Fallon. So do you." Hehehe. They both looked gorgeous together! Iris laughed as Fallon tried to hug her, and Iris did her best to squish her friends skirt, so as to hug her properly. "Yes... Maybe you should have done. hahah"
Iris smiled at Fallon, "Fallon? Did you get a date for tonight?" She asked her, curiously.

Fallon smiled at Iris. "Thanks to you of course." She was so glad that Iris had made her dress. It was super awesome. She giggled as Iris squished her skirt. It was the best she could probably do. She laughed with Iris. "But poofy skirts are so pretty and I couldn't resist."
Fallon's smile faltered slightly. "Nope. I'm sure I'll find one of the guys I know that'll be willing to dance with me." Yep. She would definately snag a dance with one of them.

Grace was ... Vanessa's child? At first, Evangeline didn't really understand what she was talking about. A daughter? Vanessa had a ... baby girl. Unconsciously clutching at her lower lip, Evangeline looked down at the photograph and ... smiled. Tried to smile? Vanessa and Miles had a baby. A baby girl who looked around one year old. One year. "She's ... she's beautiful, Vans. I'm happy for you." She nodded and smiled at the girl - even if it looked a bit like a grimace.
After that, Evangeline couldn't really remember whatever it was Vanessa and her were talking about before. Blush? She couldn't recall what she could've possibly said to make Vanessa blush. Oh, Quidditch? "Yes, I will do that. I'll send you the tickets and we'll go together."

Satine hurried into the ball excited to see everyone dressed up beautifully and for, of course, the dancing, dancing, and more dancing. Plus she couldn't wait to see how it was decorated.
She stopped for a quick second to check her reflection in a nearby extra shiny suit of armor. She was wearing a purple formal dressand had her long purple hair curled into long ringlets. She was covered in an iridescent light sparkle from head to toe. She took a deep breath and walked in to the Entrance Hall with a smile. Maybe tonight would be the night to make some boy's head turned....
Her thoughts faded quickly as she saw two of her best friends. She walked over quickly.
"Hey you two! Ya'll are so beautimous tonite...I'm sure you both will be taking someone's breaths away when you walk into the room..." she said as she gave each friend a lil hug to keep from messing up any hair or makeup or dresses.
"Anything new going on with the two of you?" she said. She always felt left out of their lives since she was in a different house.
This...was more awkward than Mari had anticipated. " You're welcome," she told Elizabeth with another bright smile. When her friend turned the compliment back on herself, Mari smiled more. She couldn't help it. She'd always been vain; Elizabeth knew this well enough. " Thank you. I know it's plain, my dress...but I thought the plainer my dress, the better my accessories could be." She said, showing Elizabeth her earrings and necklace, as well as her bracelet.
" Of course I knew I would find you easily. With or without your Quidditch man." She said, attempting to make things a bit less awkward. " Although, I have to say you being so dressed up would have made it a bit of a challenge." She teased Elizabeth lightly before looking over her shoulder into the Great Hall, which was when she heard Robert say something about food.
Mari pushed some hair back from her face and smiled."See? I knew we'd find something in common." Mari laughed. " I'm hungry as well. We should go eat." She said, stepping back a bit and motioning for them to follow her. " Then I can show you some pictures of Bella and Alex," She said, sounding very excited about that. " Since I haven't sent you any since they were born," She said with another small laugh.

"I bet he's here somewhere. We can find him eventually." He had to be thinking about Professor Vindictus. It was either that or some of their former teammates, but something told her it was Vindictus. Although she was curious if Willow was coming. That would just be interesting. And she watched him as he folowed her indication of her outfit, amused by how much he still seemed to be uncomfortable but was going along with her.
But then there was the distraction that was Mari. Not to mention how her excitement was now tempered by the fact it seemed things were still weird when it came to dealing with her best friend and her boyfriend. In the same place. She still hoped in time it would be less weird. And she couldn't not notice how quiet Robert was being, as she tried to keep the conversation going. "You're welcome," she said as Mari thanked her for returning the compliment about their attire. "You can never go wrong with simple," she added, before leaning forward a little to look at the jewelry. "Pretty."
She smiled again as Mari responded to her question, feeling like maybe tension might be easing up finally. "Well, you know I would have found you, at least. And I wasn't about to not dress up." Even if it was still strange-feeling to actually be dressed up. Too much time at home, where it really didn't matter what she wore. And then, as Robert had his arm wrapped around her, she laughed as he picked up on the food topic. And Mari responded. She glanced upward at him as he switched to holding her hand, before looking back at Mari. "Okay, I guess we better feed you both. Before we risk a disaster," she teased both of them, before starting to follow her best friend into the Great Hall.
Then another amused look crossed her face at Mari's continued conversation. "Bella?," she asked, finding a bit of humor in it all. Especially considering she'd heard about them before. "Can't say I have any pictures. Since I'm fairly certain you don't need to see my Bella. Or Macavity." Her pets were still doing amazing, though, considering they'd lived in like three different places in the last few years. She was fairly certain she was pretty settled now though. As they crossed into the hall, though, she glanced at Mari again. "I did get my book published, though." She didn't have that with her, however. But she also didn't remember if she'd told Mari it was getting published, or that she'd even been writing it.
Rob smirked and turned his attention back toward Mari and Liz. "Well I'm always hungry right Liz?" he slipped his fingers between hers and smiled. He felt odd being around so many people which was odd seeing as he played Quidditch and was always around a lot of people. Even then though he never felt comfortable unless Liz was beside him.
He followed Liz as she led them toward the entrance hall. He smiled as Liz started talking about her book and kept his eyes on the look out for Vindictus. He had to be around here somewhere.

Violet walked to the Entrance Hall, she was completly nervous. She waited for Dillon to arrive and looked around at the other people, she now had second thoughts about coming. She could just quickly escape, right? She considered this for a moment.
Then there was another plan too, she could hide under a table once Dillon saw her and they walked in, and no one would ever know where she was. Hehe, she didn't know what to expect but had all these questions zooming around in her head, but in the end decided to save evil escape plans for later and just look around.
Vanessa tended to get a little "awww" when it came to her daughter, which was part of the reason why she had left the girl in the care of Iliana's mother. Hehe. Evangeline was a bit upset at herself. She thought she was done with getting disturbed at the sight of pretty little babies, or happy families. Apparently, that only applied to strangers' babies, though. Knowing Vanessa, who was her age, had a beautiful little girl to take care of, it moved something inside. But she was scared of hurting her friend's feelings so she tried to act excited about all of that.
While trying to avoid talking about it, as well.
She absently nodded when Vanessa said them going to the matches would be awesome. It would! She usually had little company at Falmouth Falcons matches, it'd be amazing to have someone there she knew for so long. "Pfft, you know. All the same. I can't seem to actually plan anything without someone having an accident and interrupt my plans." She added with an eyeroll and a little chuckle. She loved her job, but sometimes there were really hectic days.

Never had Evangeline been so happy to see her fiance. When he tickled her sides, she turned at him and sent him a somewhat exhausted look, a small smile playing across her lips. Immediately, her arm wrapped around his waist and she held him close. Hmmm, he was WARM. And that night breeze on her bare arms was making her COLD.
"We just arrived! And Vanessa here was telling me about .." her daughter."... how she hasn't been in a Quidditch match for ages. I offered to get her tickets to the Falcons."
Bradin wondered into the Entrance Hall. He was finally hear, but no Ginny yet. He decided to hang around and wait for her to arrive begore he went inside. Tonght was going to be the bext night ever. He hoped anyway.

Bradin heard Ginny come up behind him. "Hey shawty" he said before kissing and hugging her. O yeah, he was mad about her. But not so mad that he dreamt about her everynight and talked about her all day. That would just be creepy for them both.

HEHE.
"Evieeeeeee," the former Slytherin Head Boy called, scuttling across the entrance hall to where she stood with Vanessa Corbette and tickling her sides. "I thought we were gonna go check out the buffet." Of course, that was the main reason he was here. FREE FOOD. "Alright Snot Face," he nodded in greeting to Corbette. Oh yeah, she'd always be the snot girl.
Regina's ears perked up at the sound of a vaguely familiar voice. Turning around, she couldnt help but smirk as the memory of a fainting boy holding an all-too important parchment flitted across her mind, Well would you look at that, its the riddle boy she thought as she uttered out the name "Clifford Carden. Nice to see you, so how's the riddle business going?" she joked.

Ginny kissed and hugged Bradin back. "Excited about the ball?", she asked. Ginny very mad about Bradin. She could never get him off her mind.

One arm was still out of his jacket as he leapt the last few stairs, grinding to a halt he pulled it on, and straighten his shirt.
Turning to gaze in the reflective chest of a suit of amour, he ran his hands one last time through his hair. He was as good as he would ever be, and he hoped not to bad looking either.
Looking over Josh's shoulder, more out of her nerves than anything, Evelyn was almost glad she did. Otherwise she probably wouldn't have spotted the other person she was looking for. He looked pretty nice too.
Waiting till he looked over towards the general area they were, the Slytherin waved slightly at the Gryffindor before glancing back at Josh. Hmm, so perhaps this night wasn't going to be so bad after all? Hehe.
