"She's ... she's beautiful, Vans. I'm happy for you." She nodded and smiled at the girl - even if it looked a bit like a grimace.
After that, Evangeline couldn't really remember whatever it was Vanessa and her were talking about before. Blush? She couldn't recall what she could've possibly said to make Vanessa blush. Oh, Quidditch? "Yes, I will do that. I'll send you the tickets and we'll go together." Vanessa tended to get a little "awww" when it came to her daughter, which was part of the reason why she had left the girl in the care of Iliana's mother. Hehe. But she did love her little girl ever so much. "I know she is....she's amazing." Vannie put the photo back into her purse, and smiled at her friend. She could sense that something was up, of course she could she had known Evie long enough to know that, but she decided not to press it, she didn't want to upset her friend, because she loved her too much. "You'll have to meet her soon." Because she was intending to spend more time with Evangeline more, because she used to be one of her closest friend, and she wanted them to become close again, like they had been turning Hogwarts.
"That'll be awesome." She smiled, although she couldn't help but think that the conversation had come to a sort of standstill. She didn't know why, but she was a socialite so she could easily change the topic of conversation. "So hows the healing been going since I left?"
