Okay, good. Then they were both wanderers. But there was always something going on. If he didn't explore, then maybe he'd miss out on that something.

Aiden grinned. He had been thinking she'd probably tell him to quit being such a dufus or something, but she actually played along. heheh. "All right, a quiz, then." Oh, cereal. He could probably live off of cereal, although.. he had no clue as to what sort she liked. "Honey Nut cheerios?" That was a good guess. Everyone likes those, right?

He smiled and shifted his position in the seat. "Oh, I have news, by the way," he added, suddenly abandoning the student act. Heh. He was probably confusing the hell out of her. It was good new, though.

"WRONG!"

Honey Nut Cheerios? Ickkk! "My favourite cereal is coco pops. With all the chocolatey goodness." Duuuuh, Ella was obsessed with chocolate, seriously. With an eye roll, Ella paused for a moment.. "Let's forget about this quiz. You'll never pass." She smirked. It was bad really.. he needed to know more about her for gods sake.

Oh, subject change. Awesome, she was running out of questions for him. "Oh? What news is that then?" She asked curiously. Good news hopefully. Well, it would be good news as long as it didn't affect their relationship. 'Cause right now, it was perfect.

Pfft. Wrong. How was he supposed to know that?!

But Aiden smiled at her anyway; he couldn't help it. "Well, that was my second guess," he protested, folding his arms. Quick quiz, that one was. Too bad their professors didn't give such simple ones. Even if he did fail Ella's.. "All right, then. But, for the record, my favorite cereal is Honey Nut Clusters." Mmm. Actually, he wouldn't mind having a bowl right now.

He shifted his head to the side. Really, he did need to get to know more about Ella. They'd known each other since the start of the term, yes, but they never managed to talk about their interests or backgrounds or anything. "So, tell me something else," he requested, outstretching his arm and opening up his hand so that she'd take his. "What about your family? What are they like?"

Right, the news! Aiden paused for a bit of suspense, then spoke. "Well, the news is that you were right about Savannah. She's definitely not suicidal, and she even has a boyfriend now." He grinned. Yes, he was happy for Sav and her new beau, but he was also relieved that there'd be zero strain on his own relationship now.

Pshh. "You liar." She narrowed her eyes but then chuckled. Ehh, it was a hard question. It's not like she'd bring up her favourite kind of cereal in every day conversation.. "Okay. I'll remember that if you ever decide to quiz me." She hoped he wouldn't.

Awwh, so he showed interest! What a sweetheart. Ella took his hand that he held out to her and put on a thoughtful expression. It was hard to talk about your life.. "Weell.. I live with my mum, dad and little brother - who's name is Edward. I'm a typical 'daddy's girl'.." She didn't really like that phrase but meh, it was true. "I have an uncle called Bill - but he ditched our family to move in with Trixie's lot." Snarrrl. Nope, Ella had not forgotton that. "And Trixie is my long lost cousin..." Uhhh.. "But - you already knew that." Duh, hehe. So, now she should return the question. "So that's my family for you.. what about yours?" She grinned.

"Of course I was right." She said simply. Ella knew Savannah was all talk.. Waiiiit, what? "She has a boyfriend?" Wow, she got over Aiden quickly then. Or was all that drama for nothing and she didn't even have strong feelings for him. Grr. "Well, that's awesome news. Who is it?" This had to be the first good news that she had ever heard of that was about Savannah. Hopefully she'd take a hike now.

"SURPRISE QUESTION! What's my brother's name?" Mwa haha. Now she was testing to see whether he was listening.

Heh heh. Okay, so maybe he was lying. But he did at least consider Coco Pops. That counted for something, right? Half-credit..?

He smiled as she obliged him, taking his hand. Mum, dad, and younger brother. Heh. Sometimes Aiden would've liked a younger brother. Oh, right. The cousin. So, Trixie's mum.. married Ella's uncle, then? That's the relation. "Got it," he said with a nod. He smiled; the daddy's little girl part was endearing, probably because it contradicted the edgier side to her. "What's the age difference between you and your brother?"

She returned the question his way, and he shrugged. His family wasn't complicated, so it was pretty easy for him. "I live with my mum. My sister, Madison, used to live with us too, but she's twenty now, so she only lives with us during the summer." And, that was about it. "Madison and I get along surprisingly well. Apart from the normal sibling disputes."

Right, back to Sav's new boyfriend. "What's his name.." Aiden said aloud, wracking his memory. "Travis." That was it. He couldn't recall his surname, but whatever. He was lucky that he could just remember the first. "I've never met the guy, though." But.. there were a lot of people Aiden had yet to meet.

OH, waitwhat?! A grin stretched across his face. "Cheater! You said the quiz was over," he said, although he wasn't actually mad. heh. But.. oooh. The name. Bill was the uncle... but her brother was.. "Edward," he finally answered. Mwahah. At least that was one point in his favor. Plus, now this meant he was allowed one surprise question attack. Hmh.

Feeling no desire to stand at the front of the classroom anymore like a teacher, Ella went and sat down next to Aiden, with their hands still firmly held together. Nooow, back to the 'getting to know each other' thing they had going on.

"He's seven and i'm fifteen.. soo.." Quick adding up... simples... uhh.. "That makes it eight years difference." Ella wished he was a little older, because he was cute but they didn't have many interesting conversations. He was too young. "I don't really get along with him. He's a right little terror." She rolled her eyes. Thank goodness he didn't go to Hogwarts yet. This was the only place she had to get away from him.

"Oh, that's cool. I wish I had a sister, an older one too." And maybe she could have someone to look up to.. It was probably different for Aiden, seeing as he was a guy. He didn't live with his dad? Should she ask? Mmmmmmmm, nah not now. It may be a touchy subject. She had no idea.

"Travis?" She repeated. Hmm, Ella didn't seem to know of him either. If he saw anything good in Savannah then he must be bad news. "Never heard of him either. I guess we're not very good butterflies then, are we?" She said seriously with a sigh. She was just kidding really. Hehe. Okay, so that phrase was likely to come up within every one of their conversations now.

"Well that's why it is a SURPRISE question." Ella laughed, then studied his face closely as she waited for an answer. DARN! He got it right. "Good God, you got a question right!" She exclaimed with a mock surprised expression. "Don't get too comfortable, there may be more surprise questions coming your way, mister."

"Sooo.. got any pets at home?" Random question, yes. But Ella felt the need to ask it. Don't ask why... "Or..... is there anything else that we need to establish in each others lives?" She grinned at him.

Good. Ella had decided to take a seat with him; he liked it better when she was closer.

Whoa, eight-year difference, with no siblings in between. Eh. Maybe it just seemed like a lot because that was double the age difference of he and Madison. His lips parted in a grin when she didn't hesitate to inform him of the trouble that her brother was. "Edward, the terror." Oh, lookee. Only then did it occur to him.. "I take it your parents purposely named you both with the 'E' names?" He gave a nod when she commented on the whole sister thing. Aiden knew he was definitely lucky to have Madison as a sibling; he really couldn't have asked for a better one.

"But, we have time to be social butterflies," he added with enthusiasm. He adjusted his position again and prepared to explain. "See.. this is how it works. Right now, we're just social caterpillars. Then we get cocoons and only after that do we get to.. be... butterflies." He sort of trailed off at the end as he realized how atrociously lame that sounded. That was exactly like the process of normal butterflies, save for the fact that he slapped the word 'social' on at the beginning. Hah.. whatever.

"Are you doubting my excellent memory?" He asked with mock offense, pointing to the very skull that encased this 'excellent' brain of his. Pfft. "Because I'll be completely ready for your surprise attacks, thank you very much."

And where would the family question be without the sequential pet question afterwards? "One cat - Eustice." Heh. Madison came up with that name, not him. "And you?" What were the other questions he wanted to ask.. it was weird how once he had the opportunity to ask them, he blanked. Well, he could think of a few unoriginal ones. "Okay, you can answer these in a quick list, because I'm flinging them at you like we're playing twenty questions.." Hopefully she had played twenty-questions before. "Favorite food, hobby, song, person, and color. And where you'd want to be, if you could be anywhere right this second." Take that.

"Yep, that's exactly what he is." Ella chuckled. Buuut, he was a good brother at times. He was cute when he was a baby anyway, and Ella always had to look after him. Hehe. "Yeah, it was either 'E' names or 'P' names." Cringe! In a way, it made her greatful for 'Eleanor'. "Polly and Peter." She said with a scrunched up expression. Aiden was going to laugh at that, she was sure of it.

.... Hahahahaha!

"We're social caterpillars? I didn't think of it like that. Well, then I guess we do have loads of time to flourish!" She held her hand up for a high five. So... Ella was responsible for the 'social butterflies' comment and Aiden was responsible for the 'social caterpillars' comment. Both of them were really stupid. Hahaaa.

"Nope, I was just checking to see whether you were listening, that's all." She smiled and patted him on the head. "Good, because I have loads coming up." She smirked. And they would be harder ones this time, mwahaha. And maybe she should listen too, in case Aiden decided to spring a load of questions about himself upon her.

Aww. "Awesome, I have a cat too, called Pebbles. And Edward has a fish, called Fishy.." Ella always found that to be hilarious. "A bit of favouritism going on there." Because a fish didn't really compare to a cat now, did it? She nodded as Aiden said a list of things for her to answer. Oooookay. "Chocolate frogs, singing -" and yes, she did that when nobody is around... "- I don't really have a favourite song, but I like muggle music, favourite person is..." Hehe, blush. ".. it has to be you at the moment, favourite colour is green." Not just because it was her house colours, it was just pretty. "I'd want to be anywhere but school. On a hot beach or something." And maybe if Aiden came it would be loads better.

"Don't think you're getting off easily.. you need to answer all of those questions now." She shuffled around in her seat to get more comfortable. It was fun to learn more about Aiden. Maaaybe she should of done this with all of her previous boyfriends, 'cause it was quite beneficial really..

"So, what house was Madison in when she came to Hogwarts? I'd love to meet her sometime." Ella smiled widely, but that was only a distraction sentence.. becauseeeee.. BAM! "What is my cat's name?!" He'd never get THAT one right? She had said way too much information in the last couple of minutes.

Oh, goshh. Polly and Peter? Aiden laughed out loud. "Thank Merlin they went with the 'E' names," he commented. He could so not see Ella as a Polly. Pollys were blonde, airheaded, and extremely girly. Or, that was the image he got in his head when he thought of the name.

He grinned and slapped her hand in a high five. "Yes, we do. But I expect we'll be butterflies in no time." He had actually been pretty good about the sociable thing lately. He had met two new people, plus those kids at the treehouse, this past week. Even though he'd rather just spend his time with Ella.

"Of course I'm listening; I have very good ears." Actually, they were probably no better than the next person's. Heheh. She patted him on the head and he ruffled his hair up and got it all messy, just to pester her. But, speaking of surprise questions, he needed to spring one on her..

A fish named Fishy. "My, my. Your brother seemed to have gotten the creative gene too," he joked. Well, in the kid's defense, he was only.. seven, right? Ohh, so she was up for all those quick questions. She did have a good memory, for she was able to list them off like it was nothing. "You sing?" He had no idea. Heh. "You should let me listen to you," he added, giving her a light push on the shoulder. "And your favorite color is green, now?" Heheh. "I believe you told me it was.. blue. But I suppose that was at the beginning of the term, so it's changed by now." His memory was fairly decent, though. It had been some discussion over whether one's favorite color had anything to do with what house that person was put into. His had been red, obviously. A smile tugged at his lips when she admitted that he was her favorite person, for right now at least.

Hmm. Now it was his turn to answer those questions? Gah, he tried to remember what they all were, and after a few moments of wracking his brain, he remembered them. "Mashed potatoes, surfing, 'Such Great Heights' - by Iron & Wine, you, red, and.." He thought about the last one. "I don't know where I'd want to be. A beach sounds good right about now, though." Had that been everything?

"Madison actually went to Beauxbatons for all her schooling," he answered. But his sister seemed to love it there, so she probably didn't feel like she missed out on anything by not going to Hogwarts. He smiled and gave a slow nod. "She'd love you," he said simply. Because, duh. If Aiden liked her this much, then Maddie would no doubt like her. Ahh! Surprise question, again! Oh, shoot. Uhm.. the fish was named Fishy. That was easy enough to remember. He took a breath and stared off, trying to recall its name.. but it was no use. "Okay, okay. I forgot!" There was a lot to take in, though! Now time for his surprise question. "Okay - my question: what is my favorite food?" Hah. No it was her turn to be on the spot.

Yup, there it was. He found that verrrrry hilarious, didn't he? Pshh. "Yeah, i'm greatful too. That was my mum's idea of names, but my dad managed to convince her to have Ella and Edward." Well, they hadn't actually planned on 'Ella', it was 'Eleanor'. Buuuuut, she was allowed to adjust it. It was HER name after all. "But yeah, Polly is hideous."

"We will be! I think we should make it by the end of term at least." Otherwise, they would be slackers! Psh, but it wasn't that difficult to be sociable now, was it? "I have a perfect chance for us to flourish actually. Do you wanna come to a party with me in the summer?" She asked hopefully, remembering the letter she received from Cameron. As awesome as it already sounded, having Aiden there would make it even better.

"You do have excellent ears actually, i'm surprised." 'Cause she didn't think it was possible for anyone to listen so carefully for such a long period of time. She definitely couldn't anyway. Watching as he messed up his hair, Ella raised an eyebrow, but patted his hair back down so it was neat again. Actually, it wasn't neat. Now he just had uber flat hair..

Ella laughed. "Yeah.. he is quite the idiot sometimes. But he does love his little Fishy." She shook her head. Kids and their weird ways, eh? "Errr.. yes I sing when i'm at home, in my bedroom, where nobody can hear. And no. You cannot listen to me sing." He shoved him back. He'd probably break up with her if he heard her sing, haha. She tilted her head to the side. "Blue? Oh.. maybe it was ages ago.. Wow, your memory is good.." It was getting kind of creepy now. Hehe. Feeling as if they'd done way too much talking, Ella leaned forwards and kissed him. Just because.. she could! He was hers now!

"Surfing? Cool! Do you go to Austrailia to do that?" That was where most people did it, right? "You can teach me how to surf." She grinned. Although she would be rubbish, it looked fun. "Actually... scrap that. I'm not a brilliant swimmer." Oh man. N'aww, she was his favourite person too. Or he might just be saying to return the kindness. Meh, she wasn't complaining.

"Ohhh right." Darn it for her false assumption. "I feel bad for her. Beauxbatons was awful." She made a 'icky' kind of face. Hogwarts was a big improvement in her opinion. But, his sister may of liked it. Ella grinned when he said that she would love her. Aw, that was reassuring, 'cause meeting your boyfriends family is quiiiiite nerve wracking. HA! He didn't know the answerrr! "PEBBLES!" She rolled her eyes, but laughed loudly after. Uhhhhh oh, now she was being questioned. Favourite food.. Errr.. "Honey Nut Cheerios?" Oh crap, that was his favourite cereal... "Nooo, I meant, mushy peas." Let's just say that Ella's memory wasn't as good as Aiden's. Hers was even as bad as Trixie's at times.

Aiden smiled. Well, no wonder she was close to her dad - he was the one who spared her the horrible name! Heh.

Keeping a goal in mind for their little social butterfly project was probably a good idea; it'd sort of motivate them a bit more. Plus, Aiden did well with goals. Something to work towards, or whatever. "Yeah, I think the end of the term sounds like a realistic ambition." Oh, a chance to flourish in their endeavor? "A party! Of course I'll go," he grinned. Because who didn't like a good summer party? Actually, just parties in general. "Whose is it?"

He smiled proudly when she agreed about his hearing skills. Really, it wasn't much to be proud of. Ehh. He let her flatten down his hair against his head; frankly, he didn't really care how it looked.

"I'm sure he takes very good care of Fishy." Heheh. But.. how hard was it to take care of a fish? Well, it was probably a good way to build responsibility in kids. Feeding the fish and such. He gave a smile. Okayy, maybe she thought him a creeper because he remembered that. Ah well. Too bad his memory for History of Magic wasn't as keen as his memory for recalling his friends' interests and remarks. But ohh, a kiss. He smiled against her lips as he kissed her back. Aah, life was perfection.

Surfing, yess! He missed the sport, but fortunately it was almost summer. "Nope, I've never actually been to Australia. I just go to the coast, or in America when I go there with my uncle." Or a Sav's, but he didn't think he'd be surfing there much anyhow. Ella wanted to learn! Yess. Or.. not? "Oh, you have to! Pleeaase? We'll make sure you're a better swimmer first." He did his best to put on a begging sort of look, although he doubted he was any good at it.

Ah, yess. Ella had made it quite clear that she was not the greatest fan of Beauxbatons. She did get expelled, after all. "Madison actually seemed to like it a lot," he said with a shrug. But that was just her. Madison probably didn't have bossy Savannahs throwing high heels at her, either. Gahh, Pebbles! That was it. "Oh, please. I knew that; it just wasn't registering right." Pfffft. Whatever that meant. Excuses. He lifted an eyebrow and waited for her to repeat what his favorite food was. Blink. Mushy peas?! "That's disgusting! I hate peas." He was actually a bit of a picky eater.. but peas were notorious for their taste that no one liked! "That is five points docked from your score." Because they suddenly had scores? "The correct answer is mashed potatoes." Yummm.

"Awesome." She grinned. Although, setting an ambition to be more social was a bit weird. Oh well, heh. Yaaay, he was enthusiastic about the party. "Cameron..." Ehh, Ella didn't actually know her surname.. "I can't remember her last name, or the date of the party.. but i'll let you know." She said with a smile. "Oh.. and you have to dress as something scary or freaky..."

"Well.... the last fish he had, Smelly, died after a week or two." Judging by the fish's name, Edward wasn't too bothered about the poor little fish. "It's probably why my parents didn't get him a cat, or something good. Because he'd kill it." Okay, now she was just rambling. It felt good to kiss him again, it had been like.. 20 minutes since they had done it last? More kisses please. She smiled as their kiss finally ended and sat back.

Oh. "Well i'm sure you'd like to go to Austrailia then?" He would if he had tons of passion for surfing. Looks like he did. Daaang, she shouldn't of said anything. Now he had his little heart set on teaching her how to surf. "Mmmmm...... okay. I'll do it for you." She grinned widely. Spending time with Aiden, doing something that he loved sounded good to her. Even if she would FAIL at it.

Wow. Madison was clearly like Trixie then, who also strangely liked Beauxbatons. Although her cousin probably couldn't actually remember liking it. Heh. "Pshh. You're gonna have to remember my kittie's name. She's a special one." She chuckled. Ella wasn't really an animal person until she got her cat. They were just too cute! "Uhhh, sorry. You said 'mashed' which reminded me of 'mushy'..." What?! Points now?? "I think I should get half a point, because I did remember your favourite cereal. Honey Nut Cheerios. See?" She sat patiently.. "What's the scores so far then?"

"What's my cat's name?" Yep, she repeated the question to see whether he had learned from his first mistake. She stared at him with a smirk as she waited for a response..

Cameron, Cameron.. he didn't think he knew a Cameron. Aiden nodded when she told him that she'd keep him posted on the details of the party. "So, it's a costume party of sorts?" Well, that would be a change from the usual parties going on. "Any ideas as to what you're going as?"

"Smelly?" Aiden smirked. Dead after two weeks. Poor fish. He could practically see the toilet bowl funeral playing out in his mind. "Yeah, I guess if your parents got him a cat or something, they'd end up being the ones to take care of it." Finally, he pulled back away from her kiss. But, he decided that one was not enough, so he simply kissed her again. They had to balance out all the talking, right?

"Oh, I'd love to go to Australia." Gahh, that'd be sick. But he didn't see that happening this summer, at least. Why couldn't he have some sort of loving relatives living over there? So, she caved! Surf lessons for Ella. "I promise you'll have fun. And if a shark bites one of your legs off, well.. fortunately you have another one." He chuckled a bit.

Sounds like she was very attached to this cat of hers. "Of course I'll remember." Especially now that she yelled that cat's name at him when he couldn't recall it the first time. Okay. So, 'mushy' did sort of relate to 'mashed.' "Half a point, huh? Well, my favorite cereal is Honey Nut Clusters, but it's a minor mistake, so I'll give you the half-point." He pretended to mentally tally their points, when really he knew that he'd just totally make them up. "You have half of a point, and I have five." Hah! Somehow he had managed five points, but only got one question correct.. "But you get an extra point for the kiss." He winked.

Surprise question timeee. He was ready, though. "Pebbles!" Yep, he wasn't about to mess that one up again. "And my cat's name?" He threw the question back at her, mirroring her smirk.

"Yup, I think." Ella tried to remember details from the letter. "It just said to look... weird." And hmmm, yes, Ella had many ideas of what to go as already. "A vampire, maybe. But not just any old vampire, one from that muggle film, Sunlight." That waaaaas the name of the film, right? But even though they lived in the wizarding world, Ella had heard of it. Muggles must seem to like vampire horror stuff... Meh.

Heh! Ella didn't even realise that Edward's fish names probably sounded ridiculous. "Well, he was like, 5 when he had Smelly.." She nodded. If her parents ever gave him a cat, then Ella would end up taking responsibility for it. There was no way she'd let a poor lickle kitty die. Wheeee, more kisses.

"Perhaps you should go in the summer then." Ella suggested. But then again, that would cost a bomb. But it would be lovely, for sure. She smiled when he looked rather excited to give her surfing lessons. But, that smile was short lived. "I hope you're joking, Mr Chevalier." Because if there was even a babba shark in the water, Ella would run a mile.

"Good." Aiden seemed more interested in Fishy and Smelly, to be honest.. "What? You said it was Honey Nut Cheerios. You're lying now!" She poked him in the shoulder in protest. "If you have five points, then I have 2.5 points. That's simple math." She rolled her eyes. So if it was 5 points per question, 2.5 was half a point? Right? She almost blushed when he awarded her a point for kisses. OOOOh, maybe she should kiss him some more. She was sure that neither of the pair would have a problem with that. Heheeeeee.

"Correct!" She grinned, but before she could say anything else, BAM, he hit her with a question. A hard question too. "Err, you have a cat?" She couldn't remember actually. "Oh! Oh! I remember.. his name is Einstein." And she was confident on THAT.

Look weird. Well, Aiden would have no trouble doing that. "Hah. I had been thinking vampire, too. It's much better than wearing white sheets and calling yourself a ghost.." Sunlight? Ohh! "You mean Twilight?" He laughed; perhaps the fact that he knew that wasn't so great for his rep. "My sister likes the books and films, I think."

"Well, I hope that Fishy lasts a bit longer than Smelly." Mhmm.

Australia this summer. Sighhh. If only! "That'd be sick. Maybe I'll go after my seventh year.. as a sort of end-of-school celebration thing, or something." Assuming that he'd be able to afford that trip. He grinned when the smile suddenly dropped from her face. "Yes, I'm kidding. All jokes, no sharks." He didn't want to scare her away from actually going through with this surfing stuff now, did he?

Pfft. He was so not lying! "Nuh uh. I guessed that your favorite cereal was Honey Nut Cheerios. But I said mine was Honey Nut Clusters." Mmm. All this talk about cereal was making him crave a bowl even more. When she gave herself two and a half points, he simply nodded. He was winning anyway, so no matter. "Sure, yes. You have two and a half."

Yesss. He was correct! How many points was that now? "Yes, I have a cat. Open your ears, Ella," he said with a laugh. He watched her, waiting for an answer to spill from her mouth. Wrong. Wrongwrongwrong. But at least she was close. "Eustice. It's a weird name, so I don't blame you for not remembering." He cracked his back, then slumped down in his seat so that his legs stretched far out in front of him. Comfyyy.

"We can go as a vampire duo?" Ella suggested. Hah, they'd look like a right pair of numpties. "Twilight? That might be it.." Sunlight... pssh.. "I've never seen or read any of it, but i've heard it's quite popular with muggles. I think i'ma just go as one of those then." She grinned at the thought. No one would actually know what she was though.

HEHE! "I hope so too." It's not particulary nice flushing dead fish down the toilet. Kind of traumatic for poor little Edward, too.

"That sounds awesome! Better start saving up now then." She winked. Not that she was the expert on travel costs, but Austraiia was the furthest country away from here. Sooooo.. she guessed it would cost the most too. "Yeah... I knew you were kidding." Nahh she didn't.. and her 'acting cool' thing wasn't working out too well at the moment.

"Ohhhh, what the hell...." What was wrong with her hearing? Seriously? "Well, I was close.. so I think I deserve 3/4 of a point." She suggested. Errrm, but she wasn't sure whether that was enough for her to be winning. Now he MATH skills were failing. Mehhh, at least he was agreeing to the points.

Eustice. Right, right, riiiiight. "Sorry. You must think that i'm not listening. But I am." She tried to anyway. And in Ella's defence, all her answers were pretty darn close. She watched as he stretched his legs out and tilted her head to the side. "Are you tired?" Nooo, he was gonna leave her again. She could just feel it.

"What's my dog's name?" She sprang on him quickly. Mwahah.

"Sure," Aiden agreed with a nod. That is, unless they would come up with some sort of other wacky costumes instead. "Yeah.. I don't know what 'twilight' had to do with vampires, but I think that's what they're called." Maybe it was Sunlight. Now he was second-guessing himself. "Well, you would make a good vampire. You're certainly pale enough," he joked, poking her in the side.

He grinned. "Yep, good point." Australia would be so epic, now he was all pumped to go! Hopefully he could make that happen. Pshh. "Suuuure you did." Hmm. All this talk about surfing somehow shifted his mind to another sport.. "So, you're still kinda not so hot about heights, right?" That's the impression he had gotten from when they were at the Giant Treehouse, anyway.

He couldn't help but laugh a bit when she seemed to get annoyed with her own poor listening skills today. "Sure, you can have the three fourths. Actually.." He really didn't feel like dealing with fractions, so they'd just have to round up. "You can just tack on a point." What were their scores again? Now his own memory was slipping.

"Of course, I know you're listening. Our profs are just piling so much work on us that we don't have much room for anything else up there." Stupid classes. He shook his head when she asked whether he was tired. "Not really. I think Hogwarts just needs to invest in some new, larger desks." These could accommodate maybe fourth or fifth years and below, but seriously! He looked over to Ella and his eyebrows pulled together. "Oi, why are you so far anyway?" He smiled and grabbed the back of her seat before pulling it over closer. Much better.

Dog? Ooh, hmm. "Uhmm.." His mind was blanking. Gahh. "I have no idea. I must've completely missed the whole dog part.." Shucks. And he was on a roll, too.

Hmmmmmm... "Actually.. I don't think any of them will know what we're meant to be." 'Cause not every magical person paid interest into muggle things. She shrugged. "Eh, i'm sure we'll think of something closer to the time." They did have ages until the party.. Kinda.. Ella paused and glared at him, suddenly feeling self-conscious. "I'm pale?? What? In a bad way?" Ahhhh. Self-esteem issues!

Ella winked. But she didn't mean to get him all excited if it wasn't gonna happen. She did want him to go though, because it looked like it was something he'd LOVE to do. Gerrr, sarcasm. She could sense it from a mile away. "What-Everr." Oh, new subject? "Uhh, yeah, I hate heights. I hate a lot of stuff. Spiders.. erm.. everything.." Although she couldn't put her mind straight right that moment.

Riiiiiiight. "Okay.. well.. what does that make the scores then? Come on, you're the older one here." She laughed. Ohhhh, yesh she'd pull that one a lot more often. Although sometimes, she thought of Aiden being the same age as she was. That's what she wished anyway. Sigh.

"Glad you understand." Ella liked his reasoning, but she was just going to blame her bad listening skills. She knew they were bad. Hehehe, "That's just because you're too big." That came out wrong. "Not that you're fat. You're just full of muscle, aren't ya?" She winked then chuckled. Hmm, now to see his reaction to that. EEEP. She felt her chair being yanked forwards whilst she was in thought. It totally took her by surprise. "Oh, i'm sorry." She smiled up at him as they were now closer, then kissed him firmly on the lips. "Close enough for you?" She whispered as she broke off.

"GOTCHA! I don't have a dog, you idiot." She rolled her eyes whilst laughing her head off. N'aww she didn't mean to call him an idiot, but he toootally fell in that trap. Mwahaha... "I have a cat, and that's all. Pebbles. Pebbles. Pebbles." Hopefully that was programmed into his brain by now.

"Yeah, true." Aiden scratched his head. He really didn't go to many costume parties, so hopefully he'd be able to dig up something clever. Uh oh. Now she was getting all self-consious about how pale she was. Think fast. "Well, no. Actually.. yes. You are," he said simply. "But I mean, everyone's pale right now. We've been stuck inside this school the whole winter! Come summertime I'm sure you'll be as tan as a gypsy." Good save, good save.

Mhmm, so nix on the heights. Well, they could solve that! "I don't think I can help you with the spider thing.. but I have an idea for how to eliminate this heights fear." Although she did just agree to go surfing, so perhaps he was pushing it. Ehh, well this was for her benefit! "We should go skydiving!" Yess.

Right, the scores. Erm. He had no idea. Therefore, he'd just pick some random numbers again. "I have fifteen and you have three." Heh heh. "And yes, I'm older so that automatically makes me a million times smarter than you." Because sixteen was oh-so-much older than fifteen. Pfft.

He laughed when she tried to correct herself about the whole big, fat, or muscly comment. My, what a compliment. "Huhh! Did you just call me fat? If I die from starving myself, let it be known that you were the cause of it," he grinned. Of course he was merely joking. Mmm. He kissed her back when her lips met his until she finally pulled away. Now feeling all light and airy, he gave a dazed smile and nodded. "Mhmm, much better. One hundred points to you."

Trick question! "You're such a sneak!" He smirked when she called him an idiot, but that just meant it was fair game to do a little name-calling himself. "My memory is just so good that you need trick questions to mess me up, you loser." Hahh. Pebbles. That name was like, ingrained in his brain by this point! He couldn't forget it if he wanted to. "I know, I know! Pebbles! That is the name of your beloved cat. I'm thinking that maybe I should call him something else, just to annoy you." Aiden would never do that.

Ella sat quietly as Aiden tried to explain what he meant. It's not like she was actually mad at it, but she didn't really like being pale to be honest. And to have her boyfriend flat out say she was pale, sucked! Pshhhhh. "Right whatever." Hah, like she would believe THAT. "Maybe i'll go and see Savannah, and ask to borrow some fake tan? Would you appreciate that?" Even if he did, it wasn't gonna happen..

She nodded. Although it would be scary, Ella was up for conquering her fear of heights... "SKYDIVING? Are you serious?" And she thought that this boy was smart. That was never ever going to happen. "No way. I would die. Seriously." Idiot.

"Nooo.. you're lying again." Fifteen to three?? Ella had only asked like, three questions. "Well... uh....." Oh, great way to land herself in it and admitting that Aiden was smarter than her. "Just shut up." Niiiice come back, Ainsworth. Not..

At least he wasn't taking it seriously. "Course you're not fat. You're not exactly skinny, but i'm sure you can work on that." Heh, she nudged him on the shoulder as an indication that she was kidding. OOOoh, more points. That kissing thing did work. "So, that's, 103 points for me, and 15 for you." She nodded. Now she wasn't too bothered with the fairness of the whole conversation. "Let's just say that I win and we'll let it all go now." hehe.

"Well, ya know.. I am a Slytherin." And now it was alll becoming clear as to why she was put into that house. Before Hogwarts, she never considered herself to be so.. Snake-like.. "Hey! You're memory is crap!" She snapped, then laughed. "None of us has even mentioned a dog!" She knew that SHE wouldn't make that mistake. "Good, don't you forget it." Not that he would. She had seriously said it too many times. "Another name? And what name would that be?" She questioned curiously.

Ohh, lordy. And he had thought Savannah was touchy about those jabs about appearances, but apparently it just had to be a girl thing in general. Everyone was pale right now. "Ella, you look good pale, tan, sunburnt, whatever. You could wear a bucket on your head and I'd still be painstakingly attracted to you."

Pfft. Well, that went over well. "Skydiving is the perfect way to overcome that, and also have a blast! When you're free-falling it feels like you're suspended in thin air," he added this last bit with raised eyebrows, hoping maybe that little fact would entice her.

Okay, so he was lying. But by this point he had completely lost track of the scores. They didn't even have proper scores in the first place. He chuckled at her lame comeback. "Shut up?"

And back to the fat discussion. Heh heh. "Okay, in addition to the starvation, I'll tack on some extra cardio workouts." He flashed a smile, simply playing along with her joke. 103 to 15? Well, he did grant her the hundred, so he'd have to accept. "All right, all right. You win." But only because she used the kiss to boost her points!

"This is true." Ella was indeed a Slytherin, so why would she be placed in the darn house if she lacked the characteristics? "At least you have a few redeeming qualities." Heh. Whaaaat? His memory was, like, utter brilliance! Ehh, maybe not. But it was soo better than hers. "You're just jealous of my skill," he laughed. Hmmmm. Another name for Pebbles. Something ghastly, just to tick her off. "His new name would be.." He thought. ".. Pinkypoo." Even though cats weren't pink..

Pshhhh. Ella waited for a good enough reason for that flat out insult, and she wasn't disappointed. His words made her feel warm inside actually. DARN it! Ahem. "Well.. okay.. I forgive you." Even though it wasn't an apology. Ehh, it was as good as. Ella grinned randomly and shuffled forwards to hug him. His excessive weight made him cuddly. JOKE. heh.

"Oh that sounds reaaaaaally fun." She said sarcastically. Falling to your death. That's what it felt like? Uhh, great.. "So, first you want me to drown by surfing, and now you want me to fall and hit the ground by skydiving. Are you trying to kill me?" She said seriously.

"Yes. Shut up. It means stop talking to me." She folded her arms and huffed. But, she'd actually forgotton what they had disagreed on. Oh well, she wasn't going to let it go any time soon.

Coooool, Ella sensed a lot of dedication to operation; Aiden!weightloss. "Awesome. You'll be shedding those pounds in no time." She winked and tried to keep her laughter inside. Whooooo. "Of course I won. I knew I would." She smirked. 'Cause she wouldn't be so tempted with kisses. Boys. Is that all they wanted in life?

"I have lots of characteristics, actually. I was quite surprised with myself." She remembered her first conversation with Trixie about the Slytherin house.. Ella got mad because she didn't see herself as a sly, cunning person.. Pshhhh. "I am not jealous." She said simply, then paused for a moment when he thought of a new name for Pebbles. "Pinkypoo? That is totally ridiculous. She'd claw you if you said that in front of her." Errr, that's if cats could understand human language. LOL, what? No they didn't.

"And for your information, Pebbles is a GIRL."
