"Ok, Flowers and then turn them back." Kay said thinking of making flowers. She pulled her wand out and pointed it at the table. "Orchideous." Flowers pop up and she smiled. It was so much easier with the practice she had done. Ok, now to change them back. "Reverto." She watched as the flowers went to little buds. Looking at them she raised her hand. "Professor, is this right or should they have been seeds?" She asked looking back at her flowers.

Emily looked at the professor. She just LOOKED at her. She was getting kind of creeped out. This woman seemed a little too cheerful. She took out her wand and started to follow her instructions.

"Orchideus!" She said. Oh she LOVED that spell. It made her so happy to see all those flowers fly out of her wand. The ones that came out of her wand today were purple. PURPLE? Oh, how she loved purple. But baby blue was prettier. Oops, she was getting distracted.

"Reverto!" Nothing.
"Reverto!" Nothing. Ugh!

"REVERTO! AAAAAHH" Little tiny bugs flew to her face and started eating away at it. They attacked her! They must've been sent by the NHotW! (Ninja haters of the world) She panicked and didn't handle it like a ninja should. Emily screamed and jumped back, fightig at them with her hand. She realized her eyes were closed and opened them. She saw... seeds.

What seemed like a million seeds had flew into her face. But at least they weren't mini bugs attacking her. She took a deep breath and sat back down in her seat. She was still shaken. There had been a lot of seeds, and she was suprised.

Then Emily realized something. She looked down on the floor and saw seeds still laying on it. She raised her hands. "Um, professor?" She didn't really know what to say. She just guestured to the floor, hoping she would understand.

As soon as the professor was done talking, Nikki grabbed her wand and conjured up her usual flowers. She still rememebered! Hehe! Okay, calm down. Nikki looked at her flowers and imaged them as seeds. Then she took in a deep breath and pointed her wand at the flowers.

"Re-ver-tosies." WAIT! no shesaid it wrong!
"Re-ver-toes." Still wrong! Concentrate Nikki!

"Re-ver-toe." A couple sparks came out of the tip of her wand, but
that was it! Come on! When she actually gets the incantation right nothing happens! That was so not fair. Frown. "Reverto!" She said closing her eyes. Okay this was gonna be the last time! This time it worked, when Nikki opened her eyes, poppy seeds were in front of her. "YES!"

Mina slowly picked up her wand with a slight wince. She wasn't going to let the slight twinge of pain stop her from learning something new. That just wouldn't be acceptable to her at all.

Giving her wand a graceful flick she cast her "Orchideous". Before her appeared a small bouquet of white pansies. They were a little sickly near the ends but they were pretty much what she had envisioned, so she was happy at least.

Raising her wand again with another wince, she tried her hand on the reverto. Concentrating as much as she could she slowly, but formally recited the incantation. "Re-VER-toe"

Blinking, she watched a single pansy start to change slowly. Pouting a bit, she shook her head. This wasn't at all acceptable! Rasing her wand again, she focused all her concentration on the flower and cast again. "REVERTO!"

This time, she smiled as she watched the whole bouquet turn into a tiny pile of seeds. Now that was a lot better.

Great flowers. Did he have to...well they were better than butterflies. He was completly unfocused. and without think just said "orchideus" a bunch of wilted grey flowers appeared. Hmmm...Not exactly what he was going for. But it worked, no matter how dull, unwatered and ugly.

Jacob looked at the bunch of ugly flowers... if you could call them flowers. Sitting there for a few seconds stareing at them mesmerized. Who knew wilted flowers could be so interesting. Shaking it off he said in his head over and over, 'Re-VER-Toe'. Reverto. Reverto. Then finally pointed his want at them and said "Reverto" nothing happened.

"Reverto" nothing happened again, but on closer inspection they seemed to have gotten greyer and more wilted. Finally he said it one more time. He wondered if this worked on dieing flowers.

He then Said it one more time "Re-VER-Toe" trying to pronounce everything exactly. Something happened. It turned into a small pile of seeds. Hooray for Jacob.

Carter cast "Orchideous". Out of his wand shot a single white flower. He caught it. He set it on his desk.

"Re-VER-toe"

He watched as the little flower turned into a tiny seed. That was fun. Now not only could he create a garden, but now he could make seeds to plant one.

This was fun! Chris pulled out his wand as he had just finsihed watching the Professor's demonstation, and decided to begin. "Orchidious!" he thought hard and a handfull of red roses appeared infront of him. "Now to turn you guys into little babies!" he chuckled as talked to the flowers.

"Ok here we go! Get ready!" he pointed his wand and concentrated hard on seeds. "Reverto!" he watched in excitement as the flowers shrank and then became little seeds. YAY he did it! He scooted the little guys into a pile. And this incantation brought on a question he wanted to know.

"Professor Pilliwickle? I have a question," he smiled at her, "Would this spell work on flowers and plants that were already planted, say that I casted it on a plant that I found outside on the Grounds, would it work? And would the size demand how much concentration that is required? Say a small amount for the boquets we are doing now contrasted to a tree? That would need immese concetration and magical ability, correct?" he was curious.

Michelle concentrated very hard on which type of flowers she wanted to conjure up and said,"Orchideous!" Immediately, five orange roses flew out of her wand and landed on her desk. Now, she had to turn them to seeds. Once again, she focused all of her attention on turning them to seeds and said,"Reverto!" The roses turned to small seeds, and a smile lit up her face. She was very satisfied with what she had accomplished.

"Orchideous!" Ella cast at her desk, casting pretty lilac flowers on her desk on her second try. Now, Reverto was going to be harder since she had never done it before. "Reverto! Re-ver-to! Re-VER-to!"

The first lilac she cast at didn't have any effect. The second one moved a little, and the third one burst into shreds. Well, that wasn't right.

She cast the incantation one more time and got the flower to become seeds again. Yay! She clapped her hands together and looked up at the teacher for more directions. Meanwhile, she practiced.

Concentrating hard, Becca said, "Orchideous!" and much to her delight, a beautiful bunch of olive blossoms landed on her desk. And now time to turn them into seeds. Becca frowned at that. They were really pretty! Oh well, what must be done, must be done. So, she said, "Reverto!" and a whole mess of seeds found there way onto her desk. Smiling in delight, Becca thought triumphantly I did it!

Right. This sounded easier than, say, conjuring a bunch of baby cats. Wait, how did the mental image of cute, baby cats - kittens - come into the picture? Must be little Bott, and all her shrieking.

Even though 'little' Bott wasn't exactly... little. Not much younger than the Gryffindor prefect, nope.

Gold shrugged the thoughts off, and decided to concentrate on the task at hand, for now. The fifth year was glad the first step was flowers and stuff because, though she wasn't exactly very awesome at Transfiguration, conjuring flowers was absolutely easy. Piece of cake.

Or maybe piece of nectar?

Though Gold was sure there were no 'pieces' of nectar. So much for abrupt, random thoughts.

She acted out the correct wand movement, as she cast a clear, "Orchideous!" In her mind was an image of beauty, red and white flowers that would be lovely to look at. She had had practice, lots of it, at this spell, so it was no wonder that, when she looked down at her wand, a bunch of flowers in red and white had sprouted out of its wooden tip.

Now for the 'new' thing.

Gold didn't exactly want to turn the pretty flowers into seeds, but she knew she had to. With a little frown, the fifth year gave her wand a little swish. Okay, not exactly a swish. But something of that sort. "Reverto!"

Nothing happened.

She shrugged, absolutely certain that this had to do something with the fact that she didn't really want to turn the flowers into seeds. With a pout, she pointed her wand - once more - at the flowers she held; and, this time, she REALLY concentrated on transforming them into seeds. Because, yes, it was time to forget prettiness, and come back to the real reason she was here -- to learn, not gush over flowers.

"Re-VER-to!"

Poof! The flowers were gone and, in their place, lay a bunch of rather cute seeds -- err, seedlings? Not sure if she was pleased by this, Gold blinked at them, then shrugged.

Circling the room, Mildred watched as the class attempted their reverting. They were GOOD at Transfiguration and the Professor beamed proudly. "That can happen if you lose some concentration mid-spell," she nodded down at at the half plant half bulb ... thingy.

And again, another of the dears hadn't managed to get them aaaaaaall the way back into seeds. "Almost there, sweetie," Mildred giggled with a kind smile. This was precisely the reason they'd started with the flowers. She didn't want any half caterpillar, half butterflies! "They should've been seeds, but you were close!"


Mildred waddled over when she heard someone else in need of assistance.

SHE NEARLY STEPPED ON ALL THE SEEDS AND KILLED THEM!

The Professor clutched dramatically at her chest, clearly a little flustered. "How did they get down there? The poor little dears!" She pouted sadly. With a flourish of her wand and a little untransfiguration of her own though, they bloomed once more intopretty flowers. HEHEHE.

"Correct!" Mildred nodded as another of Prefects asked her questions. "A tree would take LOTS AND LOTS of concentration." She wasn't even sure if she'd have the concentration for that. "And the spell does indeed work on planted plants.. plants in the ground.. plants in pots.. you just wouldn't be able to see the seeds!"

"What else could we revert?" The Professor asked, addressing the class once more. She'd already heard CATS as an example. She liked that one. KITTENS!!!

"It doesn't have to be a living object.. for example, one could revert glass into sand. Anymore examples you can think of before we move on?"

She pointed her wand at the her conjured flowers and was about to cast 'Verto' on them, but the Professors question made her wonder.

"Miss?" Miranda raised her hand to ask, "How about reverting wounds and such... I mean if you cut yourself and it starts to bleed, would you be able to make the blood get back in and make the wound heal...like?" She frowned and wondered if it were possible.

The stupid cut on her cheek was still not healed.

And she dearly hoped no one had already asked this...mainly because she hadn't been listening since the class started. Her lack of sleep was making her goofy.

"Is it possible to use this spell on food? Like, turning peanut butter back into peanuts or something?" she asked while poking the rest of the seeds she had on the desk, curious about the answer. Well, if it was just peanuts in the peanut butter that is...Why she would need to do that, she didn't know. But...oh well. It was a good question!!

Lina looked up at the question. Well, that was simple, wasn't it? "In this case, we could do it with anything that was transmuted or transformed, correct? A structure into its base materials, which would be very handy to recycle them. Or a diamond into coal or base carbon, though I doubt anyone would want to do something like that!" She paused a moment as her mind came across something, though she didn't know why she thought of it. "Could you do it to a person?"

Jacob thought about it for a few seconds. hmmm what could they revert. This was difficult.

"Professor, is it possible to revert a chick back into an egg?" he asked stupidly. "Or we could revert a chicken into a chick." He might hurt them though. It was fun to play with someone elses life though. "oooh chocolate into cocoa beans" he was being silly chocolate was made up of other things. But he wanted chocolate.

"If you painted something, then you cast this spell, would it go back to its original color?" That would be going back to its original shape wouldn't it? Yes, it would! But, the spell may not think so.

...hmmm.

Raiden raised his hand slowly, wondering. What... were the limits here?

"Professor... if you were to do this to something like a book or a shirt?" He touched the collar of his own shirt. "Would it revert to loose raw cotton or...?"

Whatever paper was made out of, he wasn't sure of that. Tree stuff, but past that... He'd have to look it up later. Or would the spell not work correctly on such things?

Michelle didn't have to think about that question too long because most things come from something. She raised her hand and said,"You could turn ice into water!" It was a fairly simple answer, but it would do for now.

Neptune raised her hand, stifling giggles behind her other hand. "Professor - what do you suppose would happen if we used this spell on Raaaaaaaiden? He'd be a BABY AND a KITTEN! Can we try!??!"


OH GIGGLE.

Oh, no, this did not sound good, reverting animals, no way, no how was she gonna do that even if she could. Not unless she was in danger. She just decided to revert the flowers into seeds, that just seemed more right to her. she took out her wand and said, "Orchideous", and with concentration flowers appeared. She then waved her want and said, "reverto", and with concentration the flowers were seeds. She looked at them for a seccond in aazement before she took out her wand to to try to revert the seeds back to flowers. She waved her wand over the seeds and concentrated as she said, "reverto", and saw the flowers where the seeds were, she could not imagine reverting anything else this way and was not even gonna suggest anything.

Jumping slightly in his seat, Raiden looked at Neptune in horror. Use this spell on HIM?! But... but... that was... it... and the...

Oh coherent thought, we miss you.

"I don't think it works like that," he said weakly, a hand moving to rub the back of his neck. Oh Merlin please let it not work like that. "If you'd have to focus a lot for a tree... humans are a lot more complicated and the consequences of messing it up... would be so much worse."

He rather enjoyed living, please and thank you. He was only sixteen. And as much as he didn't really enjoy this term... getting younger wasn't really a solution to it. So yes. As Lina said... we were not reverting Raiden. The idea of students trying to turn him into a kitten!child was terrifying.

Neptune turned her giggles to THIS girl. OH LULLLZ. "Is your name PROFESSOR?" Then she rolled her eyes in as WIDE as an ARC that they POSSIBLY could.

... and when Raiden was a baby!kitten, Neptune would buy a BIG purse and carry him around in it and feed him bottles. Buy a little collar with a bell on it and let him sleep in crib next to her bed! Ohhh GIGGLE he'd be SO CUTE!

After what seemed like hours of practice, Arya had finally gotten the spell.

Conjuring another set of yellow daisies she then gave her wand a wave and said, "Reverto". Suddenly all her flowers turned into little seeds. Smiling he leaned back to give herself a break from all the concentration it had taken her to preform the spell.

She saw Raiden but refrained from speaking since crazy 'claw was in the room. She didn't want to risk the chance of getting into a argument with the girl, atleast not in class. Instead she just watched the rest of her classmates.
