Slytherin House Table This table seats the cunning students of Slytherin house. |
Evan ;) Marie was glad to finally be off the train and back at school. So much had happened on the train ride that she wasn't really sure who her friends were any more. Walking into the Great Hall she instantly walks over to the empty Slytherin table. Looking over at the Hufflepuff table she doesn't see Avery or Kay yet. Then glancing at the Gryffindor table she notices that Rex is not there yet either. "Good, maybe he won't come.' Sitting down somewhere in the middle of the table but where she can face the other house tables she thinks, 'Yes, now I can watch everyone as they come in, no one is going to sneak up on me.' Turning back to the entrance she eagerly watches for the students to start coming in, hoping that the first student she sees is Evan. She wanted someone to sit with her who was not involved in all the chaos on the train. Then again Destiny and Evelyn would okay to sit with. Even though they were part of the chaos at least they didn't start it this time. |
Severia walked into the Great Hall. It was amazing. She had never seen anything like it. She went straight to the Slytherin table and sat towards the end of the table. She was more excited than she had ever been in her life. |
Sapphyre smiled as she sat down at the Slytherin House Table. To belong to the noble House of Slytherin... She folllowed Black tradition. Maybe her parents would be proud now! Glancing at the people around her, she smiled at the girl next to her, who had long dark hair and an excited smile. |

Avada walked into the room. "At last...everything is going according to plan...Soon...Yes...very soon..",The dark boy mumbled to himself.Avada then made his way to the Slytherin table and sat near Severia. |

"Hello..." she murmured. "I'm Sapphyre Black." |

"Hello....I'm Avada.......Avada......Lurin.",Avada said as he turned back around. "Your last name is Black....Are you from the noble pureblood line?",Avada said darkly. |
For Riley, Anna, or Ian. Thalia couldn't believe she had just made Slytherin. She was in absolute shocked. It all went like a blur to her. Getting off the train, sailing to the school in boats, getting sorted after hearing the hat talk about her being cunning. She saw her cousin Anna get sorted into Slytherin and she saw Parker Yorke get sorted into Slytherin. Of course he was a Slytherin. Her life was going to be hell for the next 6 years at Hogwarts. She stared blankly at her plate, not wanting anyone to talk to her. This couldn't be happening. Why did this have to happen?! Was fate trying to torture her this much? It just wasn't fair. Thalia barely noticed her surroundings. She had been excited and full of energy when she had first entered, now she just wanted to go home. For real. This was terrible and awful. Around her she noticed familiar faces. Evan, Aaron, and Art. This just felt so wrong and she felt like crying. Not that she would. No. That would make her look bad. |

"Hello. I'm Avada Lurin. You don't look too happy. What's wrong?" He asked her. |
Yeeees. Finally. They made it to the castle and to the Great Hall, which was far away from the train and her parents as possible at the moment. Smiling in relief, Evelyn walked down the hall, passing a few Slytherins on the way and slid smoothly down at the table. Tapping her fingers on the wood, she glanced at the Gryffindor table, seeing if she could spot Rex and give him a death glare, but could not see the Gryffindork anywhere. Shrugging her shoulders, she looked for Josh instead but...no. No Josh either. She did see Marie though when she turned her head, and gave the Slytherin a little wave, surprisingly, but went back to Gryffindor scouting. Maybe Destiny scouting as well...she lost her friend in the crowd while getting off the train. |
Elisabeta walked into the great hall and gulped it was amazing but she still hardly knew any of her fellow house mates she would get to know them over time |
Avada sat between Sapphyre and Thalia. "Well, Sapphyre," he said quietly, "My family is not one many people would talk about. They aren't the best people around." |

Jess, or anyone, I suppose. :) Benjamin Farley sat down at the Slytherin table, grinning widely. He was really excited to have finally gotten off the train and into the castle, which he could not help but notice, was breathtaking. Wearing his Slytherin robes proudly, the third year gazed around the Great hall like a curious child. Which, in fact, he was, considering it was his first ime seeing the castle, he was thirteen years old and very, very curious, not to mention excited. He could barely believe his luck in being at this school. And to think, he might've gone to Durmstrang! He was glad to be here, though, that was for sure. Benjamin looked over to the Gryffindor table to see if he could spot the boy from the train. The one who he'd called...what was it? Oh yes, Patty. Well, he deserved it. Turning back to look at his plate in front of him he grinned once more. It was probably a very juvenile thing to notice, but the dishes and cutlery were beautiful. Benjamin picked up the dish in front of him and lifted it to his eye level, examining it closely. Well, by the looks of this dish, I am really going to like it here. |

Neptune Bott entered the Great Hall with her little hand wrapped and clutched to the back of Raiden's robes. The ride TO the castle had been QUITE ... well, couldn't Hogwarts afford something less primitive? She'd been less than pleased with the bumps the horseless carriages seemed to aim for. She'd really only shut up about how she was going to speak to her mother about making a donation to the school to get better transportation ... when they entered the LARGE room. The GREAT Hall was truly living up to its auspicious title. OoooOoooo! PRETTY! Neptune followed Raiden to his table. |

Wrong, apparently. As he went toward the Slytherin Table, he was very aware that her hand still had its grip on his robes. She was following him to his table. Instead of going to the Ravenclaw one. ... "Neptune, aren't you gonna go to the Ravenclaw Table first?" he asked, pausing and looking back at her. "To meet your housemates and stuff?" Why did he even ask. Because... surely the answer would either be a pout, because she'd think he didn't want her there, or it would be a huge grin and she's say something about meeting all his housemates first. |

Tobias was a medley of emotions. First, there was happiness – joy at returning to Hogwarts, excitement to eat great food, the need to learn. The happiness, although predominant, was tinged with worry, guilt, and annoyance. Searching out a thinly settled area of the Slytherin table, Tobias sat down amid the other students. He looked around, absorbing the sounds and sights. Glancing down, he spotted the shining golden dishes of Hogwarts, and his thoughts floated to Melusine Grove. Mother and Mabel will be setting to eat about now, he thought. He could see the main room in his mind’s eye: the fireplace big enough cook in, the well-made dark wood table and it’s three chairs (one empty now, of course), the simple pewter dishes, the potions and plants covering every available surface. Mabel would sit, chatting about her gardening and brewing from that day, while Tobias’s mother ladled stew out of the cook pot hanging over the flames... Tobias clutched his arms across his chest, suddenly struck by a wave of homesickness. It was not fair, him having all these fine dishes and foods while his family lived more simply than they deserved. A stray curl flopped into Tobias’s hazel eyes, breaking his fictitious memory. “Stupid…hair…” he muttered, tugging on the curl until it straightened – only to have it resolutely spring back into it’s corkscrew upon release. He would really have to do something about that detestable hair. He refused to admit to himself that he just might be getting used to it. |

"No. I'm not," Neptune answered him carelessly as she bounced from behind him to leading. She GIGGLED and flipped her curls and Once she knew what table to go to, she was good to GO. She lead Raiden to where she wanted to sit and then patted the bench beside her. "I'm going to sit with YOU!" she announced loudly for the WORLD to HEAR. Then she giggled at him with a little grabby hand motion. Quote:
.... Neptune's eyes slid to THIS young man. Her eyebrow quirked. CUUUUUUUUUUUTEEEEEE MUCH? Much! Neptune reached over and TOUCHED his shoulder. |

She looked up and smiled. "This is crazy!!" She murmured to herself. She was so glad to be in Slytherin. Although the rest of her family was either in Hufflepuff or Gryffindor. Ahh! Who cares? "Am I glad to see you!" Rosalie said unaware she was talking with someone already. "Ohh.. Sorry," Rosalie replied. She sat across from her friend she met on the train. |
Quote:
"If you're sure. I guess you'll meet them later when you go to your common room anyway, right?" He replied, smiling slightly as he sat down. Neptune seemed to enjoy shocking him and making him want to disappear, but when that shock wore off, she was actually kinda amusing to be around, and... What? Hah. His... own thoughts. Betraying him. He watched as she reached out to touch someone else. She... very physically oriented, this one was, wasn't she. Sigh. |
Raven walked into the Great Hall with a smirk etched upon her face, it was good to be back at Hogwarts definitely and this term was going to be a Slytherin sweep for sure; it had been a disgraceful past few terms for the house and this one one change everything. She headed over to the Slytherin table and sat down, looking down the table to see if she could see any of her friends. |

Reese Upstead had taken her precious time getting off the train, so she wouldn't be too surprised if she was one of the last people walking into the Great Hall. Once she entered the place, though, she realized that there wasn't too many people in here. So, she wasn't one of the last people off the train. She wasn't too sure at the moment if that was a good thing or bad thing. As the 18 year old started towards her house table, the thoughts about this being her LAST start of the term feast popped into her head. She stopped walking and looked around the place, taking in all the surroundings: the little first years that were getting sorted and people chatting away about how the train ride was. Her brown eyes looked right at the sorting hat and she sighed. This would be the last time she saw the firsties get sorted. It was sooo sad. Right, she had to pull herself together before she started to cry or anything. It would be bad for her housemates to see their Prefect cry. She shook the thoughts out of her head before she got upset, then she continued walking towards the Slytherin table. Once there, she sat down near some group of people and looked up at the staff table to see if there were anymore new Professors this term. She already knew one and that was Healer Ashford. |

"I'm SUUuuUUuUuUuuure that I want to stay with yoOOoOoou, Raiden." Neptune hit with a little spell of eyelash batting accompanied by more of her sing-songing. She slid down the bench and attached her side to his. Neptune Bott was Raiden's own personal barnacle. "I touched that boy right there. He's cuuuuuuuuute." Did Raiden notice things like this? Neptune wasn't totally sure yet how perceptive he was to such important details. Her big blues turned towards the BIG table at the front. She half wondered if that's where SHE was supposed to sit, her and Xelly. Would there be a little name card there for her like there were at most big dinners? Reserved for Botts?? All she noted was one particularly handsome MAN looking particularly relaxed. Neptune WAVED at him. |

"I noticed. You like to touch people," he replied, a little chuckle following. Understatement. Of. The. Year. She liked to cuddle up on and bond with people. At least, with him. And he was a person, so... yes. Her waving distracted him, and he looked to see who she was waving at. Who... was that? "Do you know him?" The sudden realisation struck. That was... probably Professor Truebridge's replacement. Oh yeah. He'd also forgotten that... he was probably going to have a term from hell with or without the auditions thing, and Neptune attaching to him. Because... he'd... aaaah. Yeah. Cue facepalm. |

SLYTHERIN! Boo Ya! In yer face other houses! 'Oh lemme hear ya say, SLY-THER-IN! Oh lemme me hear ya say Slyyyyyytheeerin!' 'S to L to the Y to the... meh' – this silent self congratulation could go on all day long... Oliver's small celebration took place at the front of the hall in the style of a muggle Cos Slytherin ruled before, but now they were... now they were unstoppable. Now they had Oliver Greenwood among their ranks. He sat back, folded his arms and took to people watching – or watching of his own housemates with his usual self satisfied smirk on his face. Hehehe. Lookit all the wee firsties. ...When did they get to eat? |

Turning around, much too late it seemed. He managed to catch a bit of the conversation the boy and girl beside him were having. .............CUTE? Benjamin. Cute. Him. Cute. Huh... Interesting thought. Benjamin had never gotten that from a girl before. Back at home, whenever a girl liked a guy, it's be a huge secret. If any girl had ever seen him as CUTE, he wouldn't have known. But she had touched him. She had admitted it to the boy she was speaking to. How odd. This girl was much more different than the girls he was used to. Wait. Was he, Benjamin....blushing? No. He couldn't be. But, oh yes, his face felt hot. But, maybe he just had a fever. Yeah, a fever that had to be it. Not blushing. Please. Benjamin Farley does NOT blush. Slowly turning away and tuning out of thier conversation, Benjamin decided to pretend as if she hadn't done anything. Unfortunatly, if she was looking - which he wasn't sure he was as he was paying too much attention to the fact that he had a *ahem* FEVER - then she would have definately noticed that he noticed that she touched him. She would have also noticed that he was majorly blushing. Or, er, feverish. |

Chaucer sat silently and solemnly at the table. It reminded him of an old painting he had once seen, where all the lower classes got together during winter and had big feasts. He supposed he should at least make a weak attempt to put aside his social differences - he would need to find a replacement for his cousin, that was a fact. Although there was something romantically tragic about a solitary poet, wandering through the stone walls of a castle.... melancholy in his isolation... Eyes glazed over in fantasy, he appeared to be intently staring at a gold fork to his left. With a sudden break in concentration, he looked about with a slightly alarmed expression before setting his eyes to his uniform. This tie... it's just like everyone's tie! How are people supposed to know I have a marvellous wit and flair for dialogue when I AM WEARING THE SAME TIE!? Flustered, Chaucer made a complicated fold and secured it with a dress pin (he always carried on in his pocket) and decided to procure a brooch later on. It wasn't any thing he would normally have consented to, but desperate times... |

Flat out stared. "Neptune, I'm not kidding. You seem to really like to hug people, it's not a bad thing." Hug, snuggle, physically accost... That was ALL touching. "You hug me, and you hugged Garret, and you touched that guy's shoulder. You put your foot on Daphne, too. And I think you tried to do the same with Josiah, in Diagon Alley." It wouldn't mar her reputation! He hugged people too. He just didn't... physically accost them or attach himself to them like he had accidentally-on-purpose glued himself to their side. "Of course not. I wouldn't say anything that made you look like a bad person, Neptune. I haven't yet, have I?" And no. The nose kissing thing did not count, because he was RIGHT on that. RIGHT. She had TOLD HIM to kiss it. She hadn't told him that IT was the butterfly and not her NOSE. |

Sighing, Evelyn placed her hands in her lap, and stared at her plate. The opening feast. But there was just one problem. There was no feast as of yet. When was it going to start again? She hadn't eaten at all on the train ride, being too busy with...other...things, and now she was starving. Taking a deep breathe, she looked back up and scanned the Slytherin table, noticing some more people sitting down before looking over to- OMG JOSH! And the Gryffindork...but mostly Josh! Smiling happily, debating whether or not to go over there since pretty much everyone she knew was busy and who knows where Destiny was, Evelyn just sat, and stared. 'Stop staring. Going to make yourself look like a creep.' Aw well, staring for a few more seconds, she finally shook out of it and looked up to the staff table. Quite a few new staff members it looked like, and that was definitely not Professor Kazi or the other werewolf headmaster that she saw last year sitting in the middle seat. |
