Reese Upstead had taken her precious time getting off the train, so she wouldn't be too surprised if she was one of the last people walking into the Great Hall. Once she entered the place, though, she realized that there wasn't too many people in here. So, she wasn't one of the last people off the train. She wasn't too sure at the moment if that was a good thing or bad thing.

As the 18 year old started towards her house table, the thoughts about this being her LAST start of the term feast popped into her head. She stopped walking and looked around the place, taking in all the surroundings: the little first years that were getting sorted and people chatting away about how the train ride was. Her brown eyes looked right at the sorting hat and she sighed. This would be the last time she saw the firsties get sorted. It was sooo sad.

Right, she had to pull herself together before she started to cry or anything. It would be bad for her housemates to see their Prefect cry.

She shook the thoughts out of her head before she got upset, then she continued walking towards the Slytherin table. Once there, she sat down near some group of people and looked up at the staff table to see if there were anymore new Professors this term. She already knew one and that was Healer Ashford.

Would there be a little name card there for her like there were at most big dinners? Reserved for Botts?? All she noted was one particularly handsome MAN looking particularly relaxed. Neptune WAVED at him.

"Honey, if anyone should feel crushed it would be me. My parents think I'm sort of a disgrace for the Wayland family. Made up of mostly Hufflepuffs. Just have to stick your head up high and smell the fresh air," Rosalie said trying to be comforting. She sounded a little like Dr. Phil from that muggle tv show.
"Yeah same.. Hopefully we can see Ken and Sherri around.." Rosalie said. Her blonde hair swept across her face.

Just to try to forget her miserableness she replied, "DADA. I inherited traits of defense from my dad. He's an auror," she explained but didn't add the fact he was a famous one. "Charms will be fun too." Yeah, anything that made her liable to hurt Parker more was her favorite classes.

"That's awesome I love it! Did you do it with magic? I wish I knew how to do stuff like that."

"Hi Rosalie. I'm Severia!" she smiled at the newcomer. This term was going to be great! There were so many people to meet and so many friends to make.

"What a coincidence considering my family comes from a line of Ravenclaws. They'll be disgraced with me when they hear the news," she said to Rosalie. Especially grandfather. His hopes were for his favorite granddaughter.

"I noticed. You like to touch people," he replied, a little chuckle following. Understatement. Of. The. Year. She liked to cuddle up on and bond with people. At least, with him. And he was a person, so... yes. Her waving distracted him, and he looked to see who she was waving at. Who... was that? "Do you know him?"

The sudden realisation struck. That was... probably Professor Truebridge's replacement.

Oh yeah. He'd also forgotten that... he was probably going to have a term from hell with or without the auditions thing, and Neptune attaching to him. Because... he'd... aaaah. Yeah. Cue facepalm.

"It's so big! I'll never learn my way around!" Severia was horrible with directions anyway. But this castle was ridiculous! It seemed like every corner you turned the hallway behind you disappeared!

"It's terrifying at first, but you learn you're way around. Are you looking foreward to any classes?" she asked

"Potions will probably be my favorite! Or transfigurations. But I'm not saying I'd be good at either. I have a lot to learn."

"Well, cunning isn't far off from intelligent," Sapphyre offered. "If they love you, they won't be disappointed. They'll be happy for what you've achieved, and especially what you're going to achieve."

Avada was getting bored with listening to all of the girls talking around him. He closed his eyes and waited for the feast to start.

"I absolutely love potions! Transfiguration I'm alright at... Okay, no I'm not." she laughed.

"We have more in common than I thought.." Rosalie said. It was a difficult subject for both of them as far as she could tell. But Rosalie didn't want it to sound like a good thing..
"Oh yeah, he's a fifth year. Almost forgot.. Lot of tattoos that boy had.." Rosalie said laughing. She remembered on the train when she stared at him for an amount of lengthy time. "So Phyre anything interesting happen yet or are you waiting for the craziness to go down and start doing more independent things?" Rosalie asked curiously.
"Hello Severia! It's nice to meet you," Rosalie said smiling.
My parents might mind if I tell them Slytherin was cool.. Rosalie thought.
"What part of the train were you on? I don't remember seeing you in the front.." Rosalie looked at her curiously. She looked very happy, to this Rosalie smiled.

Severia noticed that her brother had closed his eyes. "Avada, am I ignoring you? I hate that you're the only boy down here. Why are there so many girls in Slytherin?" She asked to no one in particular.

"Well, I live with my parents in London. I don't have any siblings so my parents pretty much do everything for me. I guess you could say I am sort of spoiled. Oh yes, Avery and I just found out recently that we are distant cousins. I don't really know much about her yet. I was hoping that she would be in SLytherin so we could spend more time together but she's in Hufflepuff. I'm sure I will have plenty of time to get to know her this term though." Marie looked up just as Rex walked in. Watching him closely she sees that he sits down and starts talking to Alexandra. 'What, he's talking to the devil child herself. The one Gryffindor that is after me and Kay and he sits with her. Well Kay is just gonna love this one.' Marie thought as she looked over and seen Kay sitting with Kita at her table.
"Um will you please excuse me for a minute? I need to go talk to Kay real quick before the feast starts. I will be right back." Marie got up and went over to talk to Kay, that is if Kay will talk to her.

Oliver's small celebration took place at the front of the hall in the style of a muggle soccer football player. A few victory arm pumps and a grin the size of the Great Wall of China. He would have pulled his shirt up over his head and run around with his arms outstretched like an aeroplane if this wasn't such a formal event. Hehehe. He did, however, do the Moonwalk in front of his new table before he bowed and took a seat among his new housemates.

Cos Slytherin ruled before, but now they were... now they were unstoppable. Now they had Oliver Greenwood among their ranks.

He sat back, folded his arms and took to people watching – or watching of his own housemates with his usual self satisfied smirk on his face.

"Just...when my brother landed himself in Slytherin no one really talked to him. For like a month my parents kept distance. So I'm scared they're going to do the same thing. Especially my grandfather," she added shaking her head and looking down at her hands. "He was hoping I'd be a Ravenclaw. I just feel so bad. Like I let him down." It didn't help that her gran had passed away only weeks ago.

"oh I'm sorry! I'm Nicoletta." she had a feeling this wasn't going anywhere. "you're Avada." she giggled "cute name."

"I was in the back of the train" Severia said. Yep, with all the trouble and chaos! That was the perfect place for me...NOT!

Severia laughed. The thought of someone being as bad as she was with anything magic related couldn't be funnier. "I'm a total clutz!" She admitted. "My parents thought I was going to be a squib until I was 8 and accidently set the house on fire. That was the day they were most proud of me."
