Reese, who had been taking a little afternoon nap, yawned and rolled over onto her back. Opening her eyes, she looked up at the top of her bed. It felt soooo good to take a little afternoon nap. There have only been 4 classes, but they have TIRED her out. She raised up, then stretched her arms before getting out of bed and slipping on her monkey slippers.

She wandered into the middle of the dorm and that's where she noticed two girls, one of which was holding a... "Is that an Invisibility Cloak?" She asked. She might have just gotten up, but she remembered seeing something like that in a book she read a looooong tim ago. "What are you guys doing with that?" She added.

Violets eyes widened a prefect oh great thought Violet "Um no" said Violet and quickly walked passed the girl

Nicoletta rummaged in her trunk until she found her flute. She stuffed the case under her robes and expertly locked her trunk so only she could open it. Ohh, where are you now Aunt Bella? she asked herself. "Alright, then under the cloak it is." Nicoletta replied loudly enough for only violet to hear.

"Yes, I know the Dark Lord," she said rather mockingly. "And as I said, good luck with the lullaby, he only responds to specific ones." Layla turned, really leaving this time. She went outside and to the Lake.

"Ok lead the way" said Violet

"WAIT A SECOND!" Reese exclaimed as she stomped her foot against the ground. "Don't lie to me, little girl! And, where are two going?" She ran over to the front of the girl's dormitory door and just stood there with her arms crossed over her chest. "Let's not get under the bloody cloak," she added to the girl. "Now, do you really want to go off and get into trouble?"

dang it! "Well you see, we really aren't going off and getting in trouble as you may have suggested. My friend here," Nicoletta gestured to Violet. "Only recently acquired this from her father and we just thought we'd try it out by walking around the grounds. You know, like by the lake."

Violet jumped "No were just going to the lake i really wanted to see the squid" Violet lied good.

Reese blew her hair out of her face. "It might help to take the cloak off," she pointed out. "I'd rather talk to you two's faces than to the...air." She glanced around the common room before looking back at the area that she assumed the two girls were at. "Take it out for the walk of the grounds? Hmm, that does sound like a lot of fun, but I don't think I can let you two do that. Masterson might not like two people using Invisibility Cloaks on the grounds," she replied. "He loves to see all the children's cute little faces."

"Why can't you go see Bartholomew without the cloak?" She curiously asked.

"But we wanted to surprise the squid" said Violet lying again.

Nicoletta slipped out from under the cloak. "Nicoletta Davis. Yes Miss, I see your point we've just really been excited to use it that's all." she said apologetically.

As soon as the girl took the cloak off, Reese smiled. "Nicolette Davis," she repeated the girl's name, so that she would hopefully remember it in the future. "I know you were really excited, but you can find other ways to have excitement. Ways that are less likely to loose up points. Because if Slytherin looses points, Raiden and I become very unhappy Prefects." Her eyes shifted back over to the bed the girls were just at and she added, "Now, why don't you two be good little girls and take the cloak back to your trunk?"

"The squid probably won't like surprises," she told the other girl. "So, let's stop with the excuses, okay?" She was tired of hearing one say she just wanted to take a walk around the grounds while the other girl wanted to see the Giant Squid. "What's your name, by the way?" She asked.

Violet wanted to lie but it would get her into more trouble "Violet Riddle miss" said Violet she put her invisability cloak under her bed she was going to wait till the prefect left to continue with the plan

Nicoletta gave a small sigh and nudged Violet in the ribs. "Yes ma'am"

Reese smiled. "Thanks for cooperating," she told them both. "And, it's a pleasure to meet you Violent...Nicolette. I'm Reese Upstead, if you didn't know already." She glanced towards the bed that Violet had placed the cloak under. "Now, listen. I trust you two right now to NOT get that cloak back out. If I hear that you two have been sneaking around, I'm going to have to not be Miss Nice Reese on you two," she explained. "Got it?" She really didn't want to have to have another talk with these two about sneaking around under an Invisibility Cloak.

"Yup of course" said Violet kindly yeah right thought Violet she'll be under that invisability cloak faster than a blink of an eye

"Yes ma'am. And my name's Nicoletta." she clarified.

Opps. "Nicoletta, right. Sorry," Reese apologized. "Well, I better get some shoes on and go down and get a snack." She headed back over to her belongings and pulled out some pink heels from her trunk that was in front of her bed. After taking her monkey slippers off and placing the shoes on, she turned around and gave both girls a little smile. "Goodbye," she said before heading out of the dormitory.

Now she wouldn't have two girl going around the castle in an invisibility cloak. That was a good thing.

Layla walked into the dormitory in a huff because she was wrong and Dylan was right, relief because she got out of detention, pain because whem Cesar ran out of the shield, he accidentally hit her on the back, and, finally, depression because she had lost all her friends in five minutes because of this stupid place! Then she looked up and saw Violet and Nicoletta with the Prefect that she left them with. She quickly ran to her bed, hoping they didn't see her.

Elizabeth walked into the dormitory and went straight to her bed. She let her cat out and set her on her knee. Karisma was purring uncotrollably. Elizabeth notices Layla sat on her own appearing to be avoiding Violet and Nicoletta. Elziabeth let the concept go and was disappointed that Layla never replied to Elizabeth's question. She found it odd that she would mention the name if she didn't know him. Even he himself would find it odd.

"Hey Elizabeth." Nicoletta said. She sat back down on her bed. Realizing her flute was still under her robes she pulled it out. She put it together and played a series of six notes in two seperate patterns over and over again.

"Hi, nice flute" Elizabeth said as she continued to pet Karisma. "So what was going on with Violet and that other girl, I mean besides them apparently not getting along" Elizabeth asked. She wanted answers. Why would she say his name if she didn't know him Elizabeth thought to herself. The thought of Layla mentioning her cousin puzzled her, more to the point she was puzzled by Layla not answering her question.

Hmmm... Good question. "I think Layla wanted to help us but Violet didn't want any help." Nicoletta shrugged. "She seemed nice enough to me but the fewer people you have, the easier sneaking around is."

"Coming from my background, I should know about that. Besides isn't Layla a fifth year" Elizabeth replied. You're doing it again, shut up, you're going to reveal your intentions Elizabeth thought to herself. Karisma jumped off Elizabeth's knee and curled up under her bed.
