Cadence smiled at her in excitement. "That's so great! I love meeting people from my house! I mean, you'll be in different classes than me probably, but we'll still see each other around a lot!"

This girl could talk, and talk, and talk. Like Parker wanted to hear about muggles, especially with her. He raised a brow, "You read muggle books?" He shouldn't have asked that. Now she had a reason to talk more. Great. He zoned her out after that, talking about muggles was boring. But something she said did interest him, and it could be used against her somehow, [b]"You hate muggles?" he asked loudly, hopefully people walking the halls could hear him. "Thalia hates muggles!!" Maybe that will shut her up..

"Whatever." So they agreed on something, big deal. Oh Merlin! "I am not nervous. It is train sickness!" He didn't care that she was nervous, he just wanted this train to stop. Maybe when the train did stop, Parker could run really fast away from Thalia. Good plan. he mentally complimented himself. He would have patted himself on the back but that would be suspicious. "My parents have no reason to disown me. I know where I'm going." He couldn't picture himself in any color but green. Blue definitely did not look good on him. "You mean you never read about train sickness?" he asked with a fake surprised tone. "Maybe you're not such a Ravenclaw after all." Hufflepuff all the way.

Parker sat back and re-crossed his arms when she stopped him from poking her. Why would she mention being ticklish if she didn't want to be tickled, not that Parker was planning on tickling her. Not that he wanted to touch her! But she had poked him again, "No, I am not ticklish." she could try and try, but he would not laugh, "How about you stop poking me?" he asked sitting back up.

The poking war had begun..

He could do this all day. But he wouldn't enjoy it. Touching her was torture.

Parker stopped poking Thalia when Anna spoke. Parker Yorke, a snob? No way. "Really..a snob?" he glanced over at Thalia, "Couldn't you think of anything better than that?"

Butterfly. Raiden the Butterfly. That kept making her giggle. Clearing her throat, Daphne nodded at Neptune Bay Bott. "I like friends."

Gosh. She was funny.

Tapping the window, Daphne wondered just how many hills were they supposed to look at before they reached Hogwarts. "Anytime soon, right?" mumbled Daphne, interjecting the conversation. "I wouldn't know. Do you both really have to go?"

That would be sad. Neptune would be sad. Giggle.

"I wonder, you guys probably go in there and talk about--how to rule over us and peace treaties. Interhouse unity and such. Sort of like the United Nations. Know them? I don't suppose you all know much about muggles," rambled the blond, all the while looking out the window.

Hill.Hill.Hill.HILL.

Lorcan flushed. "I sorted of noticed that when a letter exploded in my hand. What was that thing?"

"Well, you couldn't expect me not to want to look after you, could you?" He took her hand and gave it a squeeze. "That's what we do."

Helena's head was swiveling back and forth between the overly-hyper Blake and everyone else so frequently she was almost getting whiplash. Finally she shook her head slightly and looked out the compartment window. She didn't see anyone in particular, but... Erm... I'll be right back - I've just seen someone I haven't seen in awhile, she invented wildly as she got up and headed out of the compartment; she just couldn't take the teenage craziness when she wanted to cry right then. She just couldn't. She headed up the train after this fictitious person and tried to calm down...

Lexi quirked an eyebrow at him... Oh.. duh! Lives with Muggles. "That was a Howler, Nems. Magical letters that shout and explode. If you see the scarlet envelope it's typically a warning sign. Dora bewitched it for me... of course Silas doesn't know, she indulges me a bit." Lexi said with a grin.

"But I had just met Silas, Nemean. I wasn't sure if I could trust him with information like that. You had no right to tell him, that was personal." she scolded him a bit. "But it is nice to know that you that care." she added with a smile.

Joseph entered the train wide eyed. And very nervous. Since he was muggleborn, and a first year he had no clue what he was to expect. He had no friends and entered a lonely apartment by himself. None the less, he was very excited to be attending Hogwarts and could not wait to make friends there!

Arya had left her friends to change into her Hogwarts robes before that arrived.Skipping back to her compartment she gazed into another one and saw a boy her age sitting by himself.Opening the door she poked her head in and gave the boy a warm smile."Hey, I'm Arya. Me and my friends are sitting in another compartment, would you like to join us?"

"I'll try to remember that." he replied sardonically.

He frowned at her. "I'm sorry, I lost my temper. You're always telling me to stand up for myself and he was telling me to... giving me advice, and that old..." He almost used a very rude word indeed, but stopped himself, "woman had... had..." He broke off, unwilling to describe what had happened to him. He pulled his hand away from her and glared out of the window, missing the last part of what she had said and her smile.

"I do not hate muggles!" she cried, smacking him in the arm. She was almost going to hit him in the face but that may not end up to good. "You're the one who hates muggles," Thalia emphasized, hitting him again. This could go on all day. "I do read muggle books." She took the book she was reading right now out of her shoulder bag and held it up. "Percy Jackson and the Olympians The Sea of Monsters," she explained. Then hit him with the book. Okay, she took a deep breath and sat back down. Let's not bruise the poor kid, she thought to herself. Calm down Thal. He's trying to push your buttons.

He set to high of goals for himself. "You have a big ego you know that right?" Thalia asked him looking at him a rolling her eyes. "You don't know for sure you're going to land in Slytherin. Just like I don't know for sure I'm going to be a Ravenclaw," she explained very clearly. She would not be a Hufflepuff. The way she could hit, scream, and swear definitely was not going to help her there. "I don't read that much kid," Thalia exclaimed angrily throwing her arms in the air. "In fact it was always my aunt who read to me." Geesh he was annoying. Do you read everything? Well no I sure don't, she thought sarcastically in her head.

Not ticklish? More like big fat lie. "Everyone's ticklish whether they know it or not. I warn do not try to tickle me unless you want a bloody nose," she threatened darkly. She had accidentally punched Grant while he was tickling her. She had felt awful. "How about you stop making me want to hit or slap or poke you?" she mocked back.

Oh it's on...she thought.

Thalia started doing the same back to him.

Then she briefly stopped. "Eh, I liked it. I needed to call you something. Snob it was," she smiled at him innocently shrugging. "You better get a move on with the nickname Yorke."

"I only know one other person in my house," Avery said, "Its nice too meet another Hufflepuff."

AS Lorcan took his hand off of hers and started moping she reached across and pushed his arm forcefully. "Don't start. You weren't even listening to that last bit were you? I said I am glad you cared enough to do it. I know I can trust Silas now. And you stop moping okay. I am not mad at you. I think it is awesome that you care so" she explained in a rather forceful voice.

Neptune turned from Toussaint to Raiden. Rai-Rai? Did he allow such butchering of his name? Like how everyone called her Tuney? Ridiculous. Ridiculous.

Only Preston McKenna got a pass. And he was like... REALLY hot and stuff.. soo.... he could call her Tuna Fish if he WANTED.

GIGGGGGGLING. Neptune snuggled up to his side when he like TOTALLY read her mind/body language/looks of love and PUT his ARM around her! Raiden just totally GOT her.

"Raaaaaaaaaiden!" Neptune SANG at him. "Do you need me to go with you? You've still got other friends to introduce me to, surely." Like more boys?

"You can go, too," Neptune permitted Daphne into the Perfect Compartment with HER and RAIDEN and TOUSSAINT. She giggled at Daphne and because she could, reached a FOOT out to TOUCH Daphne's knee. It was a very much a HI. HI. HI DAPHNE.

"Awww its super nice of you to offer, Neptune." Nept? Hmm. "But only prefects are allowed. I thiiiink maybe in like ten minutes or so. Maybe."

Cela gave Daphne a surprised look.

"Rule over you? I don't think its supposed to be like that." And then, "Sit with me at the feast? I'm going to go and patrol or something."

Or actually, go say haiiii to people.

"See you there?" Cela smiled brightly at Raiden and stood up.

"Hey!"

When she pushed him, he lost control of his temper. He jumped up out of his seat and grabbed Athena down from the rack, causing the owl to hoot with indignation.

He glared at her. "If it were anyone but you, I'd have hexed them, just so you know. No-one gets to do that anymore. Not even you." He wrenched the door of the compartment open.

Narrowing his eyes at the outburst Lorcan had she quickly replied, "Are you threatening me, Lorcan O'Farrell? Cause the last person to do that hasn't fared well."

He went for the door and Lexi whipped out her wand and in a quick motion threw a tripping jinx right at his feet. Little brat. Hope he falls and breaks his nose! She crossed her arms across her chest and waited to see if the jinx was as effective as it once was.

Lorcan saw her go for her wand, but since he had the cage in his wand hand, he could not protect himself. The jinx hit him, but he managed to fall onto the seat and not the floor. Athena was now most upset, flapping her wings and screeching loudly. "So much for being a grown up." he spat the words at her, "You could have hit Athena, but I'll bet you didn't think about that, did you? I wasn't threatening you, I was just telling you that I would never hex you. It's obvious you don't care about me Lexi, you wouldn't try to hurt me all the time if you did." He said this sadly as he stood up to leave.

The accident, Arya had said. What accident? Who? With who? When? Where? Why? How'd it happen yo?! Allison had a sudden rush of questions run through her head. However sensing Arya's sadness Allison squirmed and bit back her questions.

It seemed Allison had the beginnings of question and tongue control. Oh the pain she went though for the sake of others...

Looking around Allison thought it best to finally change into her robes. Arya had just gone to change and...well the new girl had changed already. So, it was her turn. Releasing her mother's butterfly Allison stood up and stretch and realized with great happiness Hogwarts was near!

"Merlin Merlin Merlin! Hogwarts is so near, I can feel it!" Slightly jumping Allison sighed, "Okay then. Seeing as people are changing into their robes...guess it's my turn. Be. Right. Back!~~~~~" Whistling Allison reached into her trunk for her robes and sprinted out the compartment to find somewhere to change.

When outside she saw Arya speaking into a compartment. It seemed Arya had a gift to make friend's easily. It usually took Allison a lot to approach people, and if she did approach them it was much due to Allison's curiosity. Hadn't it been that that had lead her to meet Arya? Smiling warmly to the memory, Allison continued down the train path.

THat was it! "Get over yourself Lorcan! Really! I was aiming at your feet. Not your hand carrying a cage, I wasn't going to hit your bird. But I will tell you this, if you walk out of that compartment door don't you dare expect me to come after you. You are the one acting like a spoiled child and I am doing catering to your mood swings, Lorcan. If you can't handle the truth then don't bother talking to me anymore. I will not be apologizing for things I say anymore, Lorcan. If they hurt your feelings then toughen up." she all but shouted at him.

Kae looked over and noticed two other younger students, most probably first years like herself. She decided to walk over. I mean, she had to make friends eventually!
"Hi, umm, I'm Kae," she greeted, with a smile, "would you mind if I joined you? I'm pretty nigellated at the moment."
She added a quick and quiet laugh on the end.

Arya jumped at sound of another voice, turning around she came face to face with a green eyed girl."Sure, you can sit with us. I'm Arya by the way." Smiling at both of them she remembered that there was a good amount of people already in her compartment."I have to warn both of you though, It's kinda crowded in my compartment." She giggled by secretly hoped that neither of them was claustrophobic.

Arya watched he friend walk down the train,probably about to change into her robes. She continued to watch her friend leave and thought about how close they had gotten in such a short period of time. She could tell Allison and her would become good friends while at Hogwarts.

"Thanks," Kae said, "and that's okay. It's pretty crowded at home for me, so I'm pretty used to it." She smiled again and followed Arya into the compartment.
"So what house are you in?" Kae asked.

Lorcan glared at her, his eyes burning with the anger that was bubbling in the pit of his stomach. He put Athena's cage down on the seat and opened his mouth to answer her, but changed his mind at the last second. Rather than give her the satisfaction, he sat back down and pulled a book our of his bag and stared to read. He would just ignore her all the way to school instead.

Haha. Raiden gave Daphne a small smirk. Rule over them, really? Really?

"I dunno about that," he said, laughing. "I don't think I'm fit to rule over anything, much less other students."

He was... not a good prefect. He rarely told anyone off, didn't remember all the rules, and... well, he probably broke a few himself. Merlin knew he had in his first few years at Hogwarts. Still... he was a prefect. He'd have to try and be more assertive this term.

Yeah. Right. That was why Neptune was attached to his side. And snuggling again. And offering to go to the prefect's compartment with them.

"Actually, I think we're allowed to invite people to come in with us, when we're not having real meeting-ish stuff," he said, looking at Cela. Not that he was going to invite Neptune in anyway, because... well he assumed they'd be doing meeting-ish stuff. "But yeah, I'll see you there! I'll be along soon."

Stare.

"Neptune, don't put your foot on Daphne," Raiden mumbled flatly, eyeing the extended limb. "And I dunno if you should come with, even if you're allowed in there when we're not doing stuff. Because, you know, we'll probably be having prefect meetings in there, and if we're not... then I'll be here, with you and Daphne and everyone else. You know?"

Alex smiled as Chris spoke, that was why she was loving his accent. He WAS American. "Wow, that sounds pretty fun actually. And yes, my cousin love it! She would send me owls all the time, about how they were having class at the beach, making seashells levitate and all the fun stuff." She grinned, She envied her cousin, who was now married, and living in the south of France with her husband and little baby. "Checking it out huh? Well, I hope that you and your sister will like it."

Alex started to laugh as he spoke next. "Noo!! Slytherin is a house! There are four houses in Hogwarts, the sorting hat, will place you in one of them. Typically, Ravenclaws are smart, Gryffindors are brave, noble and true.." She pulled a face here, she HATED her house, "Slytherins are.. sly and supposedly evil, but not really. And Hufflepuff.. well everyone else goes there." She nodded. "I am in Gryffindor, for some stupid reason. All the rest of my family is in Slytherin." She sighed, seriously what had she done good??

"It is nice to meet you as well." She said smiling warmly up at him. "Ohh teach me how to juggle? That would be amazing!" She grinned as the other ball flew into his hand, "Isn't magic so convenient?" She asked grinning.
