"Indeed they do," he said with a laugh. "There's such a variety of people, weather, animals, and experiences to be had!" he said with a laugh. "Even in a single state the difference between the countryside and the city are enormous!" he explained. "Someday I want to go out to the western United States... maybe climb a mountain!" he added with a laugh.

"Me too... Its going to be an interesting adjustment." That was an understatement, but he knew he would get through it.

"Hey! We've got room if you want a seat!" Chris called out to a passing figure. He was liking the feeling of community that there was already among the students.

"Well, the United States sounds like a fun place to live!" Cadence looked out the windows into the hallway to see who Chris was calling out to to join them. It was a boy who seemed out of breath and really upset about something, but Cadence smiled at him graciously waiting to see if he would join them.

Murdok wanted a window view but he saw one all the way in the back. so he decided to make his way through the crowd which wasnt hard because he was kind of a big person. he traveled on the side so it was easier, and since people didnt move when he said, "excuse me" he decided to just shove everyone. on his way to the back he shoved a stranger leaning against another window.

Cela just laughed, completely unruffled. She gave his arm a friendly squeeze as they made their way up the train.

"You're funny. And you should smile more, it suits you." She tipped her head to one side and considered the Slytherin seriously for a moment.

"Where is your brother? How come you don't want to sit with him?"

Oh no, not THAT again. Katie made a face of pure digust, fidgeting in her seat. "Cyrus Andrus! Don't you dare repeat that again. You're going to make me physically ill, thinking about.. about THAT. Ick! It wasn't funny then, and it's not funny now. I would date the giant squid long before that ever happens." Now there was a statement.

The small Hufflepuff girl could easily argue his point of not eating anything of hers, but decided better of it. It was probably a wise decision if she made it, the way they kept pushing her. . nah, not really. But she would let them THINK whatever popped into those peanut brains of theirs. She wasn't responsible for any overactive imaginations, even if she encouraged crazy ideas.

Destruction. Oh great. "You guys better not get me in trouble!" She nearly squeaked, dark eyes growing wide before she closed them, placing a small, delicate hand on her forehead. They would get her in trouble along with them, because naturally she couldn't let them run off without her. Guilty or innocent, she would go down with them no matter what the case, if caught around the boys doing something stupid. Destruction, they say. Never too early to work their magic, they say. It was as obvious as the color of her hair, or the destination of the train, the Troublesome Trio were back and ready bring chaos to Hogwarts. And drive her absolutely crazy, that too, she was sure. "What exactily are you planning?" Katie finally asked, right as someone smacked into their compartment door and fell halfway inside. Katie blinked, turning her attention, calmly, to the upper-body lying on the floor of their compartment, legs sticking out into the train aisle.

"Lando, are you aware something is moving inside your shirt?" The Third year asked, staring down at one of the boys she had been waiting for, impatiently. As Legend stood, apparently going to help the third Gryffindor up from the floor, Katie straightened up in her seat, pulling her legs into her side as she made herself comfortable leaning against the wall. She smoothed her skirt over her knees and patted the seat next to her, telling the young boy "Come sit by me." as she moved Nova over.

"Well I didn't LOSE him, so shush up already, Chosen!" The small, fierce little girl finally snapped, referring to the frog in his travel-home above her head in the luggage rack, along with her backpack. "And DON'T call me Cub!" Lizard.

At the mention of Leah, Katie glared at the green-eyed boy. She wasn't happy that the girl had been brought up, for reasons unknown to anyone who wasn't inside her head or body. "OUR friend Leah, not just your friend Leah. Jae introduced her to us anyway!" And she was MY friend before she was yours, were her angry thoughts. Although it was obvious to anyone paying attention she wanted to say something else, Katie kept her mouth closed and her lips pressed in a firm line, refusing to let it out.

Katie stole a quick glance at the door, hoping that Jae, Danny and Will would be coming at any moment. Jae, especially. She couldn't wait to talk to him on her own though, and that would be tricky.

"I am not tiny!" Katie shook her head furiously at Mat for insisting she was a dinky little girl, causing her loose curls to whip around her face and settle around her shoulders once she stopped, brushing them away. "You boys are full of dragon dung! Boys are not cooler than girls, and that's not why you grow faster. Girls are suppose to be smaller than boys, it's just the way things are! I am NOT tiny though. Not this year."

Eyeing the blonde boy, Katie remained quiet for a moment. But ONLY a moment. And then she spoke, "Did you like.. have candy or something? You're bouncing all over the place! And you tell ME to chill! For your information Matias, GIRLS do not like BOYS to touch their hair. We don't know where boys hands have been! You could have been playing in mud this morning, or touched something sticky. I don't want my hair sticky."

Tyler looked up to see someone, trying to get his attention. "Sure," Ty shrugged a bit and heading towards the boy, more like guy since he seemed older. With a now crowded corridor, Tyler tried to make his way there. But someone had bumped into him.
No he didn't just say excuse me and shoved Tyler back to his pervious spot. Just who in the world did this guy think he was?! "No, excuse me!" Tyler said and bumped his shoulder into the guy, hard. "You don't say excuse me and just shove everyone aside. Learn some manners," Tyler said calmly. Luckily, he wasn't the fighting type until he was pushed over his limit. This guy just made it towards his limit too quickly.

"Um... heeeeey..." Cadence called awkwardly to the boy in the hallway. "Are you gonna.... come in....?" She said smiling encouragingly. She wanted to avoid whatever confrontation was going on with the guy they had invited in and the guy who was pushing people around.

Helena was still trying to calm down, her light purples eyes swiveling to every person in every compartment to try and find a place to situate herself. Finally she saw someone who seemed her age announce to a boy probably Blake's age that they had room if he wanted to sit. Hmmmm.... she poked her head into the compartment, her dark brown curls falling all around her face as she did so. Any chance that offer could stretch to a lady? she asked with a brief corner of a smile.

Nymphy walked up the train loking for other pleasant looking kids. He saw a mostly empty compartment with a few younger looking kids in it. He opened door and said "Hello, my name is Nymphy. I don't reallt know anyone here, mind if i join you?" he said politely. He smiled at them and hoped he would be let it.

Wow! This compartment is getting reallllly crowded! "Um.... suuure...." Cadence said looking around at the other people in the already crowded compartment. She can't say no to people. "We can probably... make... room..." She scooted as close as possible to Chris to make room. "I'm Cadence, by the way, Cadence Ballard."

"you were supposed to move to begin with, you saw me coming! Next time just move!" murdok thought, wow, am I really going to meet people by bumping into them, thinking about that the last person he bumped into, Jule, he thinks it was.

"Hello!" he said kindly, glad to be let in. He shook her hand. "My name is Nymphy Smith. What year are you in?" he asked, picking Awetom off the floor and putting her on his lap. He stroked his cat's back the scratched her ear.

He looked around, "and what year are all of you in?" he asked the compartment at large.

Cadence returned the boys handshake."I'll be going into my third year, but I should be a fourth year. It's... a long story... " Cadence said with a sigh, looking around at the 7 other people in the crowded compartment with a small smile. "It's nice to meet you Nymphy."

"Do you have any pets?" he asked, trying to get the converation going. He held up Awetom and gave her a kiss and smiled. "This is my cat, Awetom. (pronounced like the season) She's just a little ginger ball of cutness." He smiled at Cadence. He was sure they would be the best of freinds.

"Say what!?" Tyler exclaimed. He was SUPPOSED to move?! "I'm not going to move just because you're coming down the corridor," he said to him. Hmph. This guy thought he was so tough talking like that. Oh, Tyler was sure going to get him back for this. "How about next time you just open your eyes before bumping into people! Or maybe you should cut or get your hair out of eyes to actually see something!"
Tyler looked passed the big guy in front of him and towards a girl who was calling out to him. He sighed and walked passed the guy, but not before 'bumping' into him. With that, Ty had a smirk on his face as he entered the compartment. "Sorry about that," he apologized, with his hand behind his head. "I'm Tyler Way," he introduced himself and stuck out his hand.

Goodness, the compartment was getting really full. Vashti hoped no one else would come in, though she didn't want to be mean or anything.

"Oh! Nymphy! You have such an adorable little kitty!" she exclaimed, grinning brightly. She loved cats. "Can I pet her?"

"I have a barn owl named Arya. She's back in the compartment I was in earlier. Your cat is really cute!" She said, stretching her hand forward to pet Awetom.

Cadence took the boy's hand and flashed him one of her best, heart-melting smiles. "I'm Cadence Ballard. I'm third year, but should be a fourth year... oh, in Hufflepuff. How about you?" She said finally, slowly, letting go of his hand, still smiling at him.

"Of course!" he said, glad some was even talking to him. "She loves people!" he said, beaming. In the midst of petting and googling ....., "and what is your name?" he asked very politely.

"exuce me pip-squeak?! if you can ever decide to use your 'common sense' if you have even have any that is you'll be smart to just shut up and move aside. I don't have time to deal you." murdok just shoved him aside again and continued to walk down the rest of the corridor. he just hope that no one else comes out of their mouth like that again. murdok doesn't like fighting, but he'll fight if he has to.

"Thanks." He smiled at Cadance and droped his pen. He was about to pick it up when he remmebered that he could use magic. "Accio Pen!" he said resolutly. The pen flew to him and he looked back at the compartment like nothing had happened. "SO, some of you still havn't old me your name. Come on then!"

Vashti's smile grew even bigger as she pet the sweet little Awetom. So cute! "Oh, right, my name," she said, blushing slightly because she'd forgotten to introduce herself. "I'm Vashti, and I'm a first year."

Tyler smiled as the girl shook his hand back. Thank goodness there were good and kind people in this compartment. "It's nice to meet you, Candence," He sat down as she let go of his hand. Now for an introduction. This should be fun. "I'm a fifth year, but I dunno what house yet since I'm a transfer student," he explained. But what house was he going to end up in? Would he be in Ravenclaw likes Jule? Gryffindor like Kat? Or hufflepuff like Candence? Only time will tell. His train of thought was cut off when he still heard that guy's voice. Ugh.
"What did you just call me?!?!" Tyler yelled out the compartment. Ty had his hands into fists already. Who was this guy anyway? "You don't mess with Tyler Way like that! This means WAR! And remember my name, 'cause you're going to regret shoving me to the window!" Tyler slid back into the compartment and slid the door closed, gently. He sghed and remembered his anger is what got him kicked out of his previous school.

Murdok heard that kid, Ty he thought. Murdok continued down to the window he wanted. trying to calm down, so he started thinking which usually calmed him down.

Cadence considered the boy for a moment. "There seem to be a lot of transfer students this year." Her eyes widened as Tyler yelled at the boy in the hallway, but not in shock, no... it was something like admiration. She admired that he could stand up for himself. "So, what's the story with you and that creepy guy? Do you know him?"

Helena grinned. "Well, now that you mention it...I love to climb trees. I love the feeling you get when you're up on the highest branch, in the tree on top of the highest hill, and you can see the whole city below you. It's the most exhilarating feeling in the world!" She waved her arms to illustrate her excitement, and her eyes lit with enthusiasm. Helena loved heights.
