Cadence wandered aimlessly to the front of the train. It seemed to be considerably less crowded than the middle of the train. She slid open the door to an empty compartment, stowed her trunk, and looked around. She was finally going back to Hogwarts! Taking a seat near the window simply waited for a bit, seeing if someone would join her. Of course, most of these people wouldn't know her, though. Giving up, she pulled out a quill and her journal and began writing. Hopefully someone would join her soon.

"I might have an idea about that," she said, purposely being vague. "But I wonder about the other three." As in, if so many of the prefects from last term had stepped down so there were new ones, she was now curious if the same had happened with the Quidditch Captains. Maybe it would help her in feeling more confident, if the other teams were going to be dealing with new captains and everything. Not to mention new teams. Because she couldn't forget that the only term she'd actually played hadn't gone so very well, and it kept trying to undermine her confidence.

Unable to sit still any longer Arya put on her her green hoodie and sperrys, picked up Perseus and left the compartment to take a walk. She placed Perseus in the hood of her hoodie, his favorite place to be cause he likes to climb on her shoulder. As she walked she had a little pep in her step, whistling a tune to one of her favorite songs.

Interesting name? That was another way of saying that he didn't like it. Feeling his eyes narrow instinctively, Jorma instantly grabbed hold of himself and steadied the argument that was begging to be free. Stupid Tareen.
Grinning at the other girl in the compartment, Jorma said nothing in return to her rather vulgarly put question, he looked toward Brody, and waited for the moment that she was going to put anyone's doubts out of the window about their relationship. 'cause she was his.
'Nuff said. Now he had a feeling that Jorma didn't care for him much, and he wasn't sure why, though he had an idea.
"I'm sorry to hear that." But he didn't want to make the guy seem like he felt sorry for him because that would be insulting. There was also the fact that Torin didn't really feel all that bad for this boy anyway. So he moved on. "Well, Hogwarts is a great school, so you will love it there." She followed his gaze to look at Lori, great she'd lost his attention. She squeezed his hand, with a smile, before speaking. "This is Lori." Brody smiled, but didn't say anything else, because she really didn't know how to describe Lori, because she was totally not going to say Lori the pretty girl or something, because that was so not true It was best to ignore the boyfriend comment. Best for everyone, especially Jorma. So he decided just to focus on their conversation about Quidditch.
"That's awesome that we are both trying out. We should totally be Beaters together." Because that would be fun and then she could use the bat that he had bought her for her birthday. "I'm not sure who the new Captain is, but I bet it's Miranda." Because she was awesome. | |

"Are you a Ravenclaw, like Tibi...Tiberius?" he asked, hoping he was NOT another Ravenclaw, because Cela was also a Ravenclaw, and Livvy was one too, and Tibi-Ty-T was one too...and Melanie was a Hufflepuff, and Pierre...well, who knew which House he'll get into. "Oh really? I knew her and partnered with her in class a few times. She was captain the same time I was captain," he explained to the little kid with a smile. "How is she doing?"
"Me, a Ravenclaw? No chance!" Jack replied to his next question with a laugh. "I'm just simply not clever enough. I'm actually a Gryffindor, which was quite a shock as well, believe me. I was CERTAIN I was going to be a Hufflepuff," he explained. It only made sense to think that when you came from a long line of Huffie's right? But no, fate had other plans for Jack. Apparently fate had planned for Jack to be the black sheep in the family.

Sure, he missed the whole green-ness of his homeland, but it was pretty fun here too.
Interesting name? That was another way of saying that he didn't like it. Feeling his eyes narrow instinctively, Jorma instantly grabbed hold of himself and steadied the argument that was begging to be free. Stupid Tareen.
Grinning at the other girl in the compartment, Jorma said nothing in return to her rather vulgarly put question, he looked toward Brody, and waited for the moment that she was going to put anyone's doubts out of the window about their relationship. 'cause she was his.

"But it is important, because that's where her name came from" he said, a slight frown in his forehead, "What is 'pidgin', Tiberius?" uh-oh, Tibi-Ty-T had managed to come with a term Treyen was no familiar with. Like wandlore. And we all know about Treyen's liking for wandlore ever since he heard it.
His eyes went over to Jack-Jack, who should be paying just as much interest in this as well. "I talked her into a Nimbus," he said grinning. "She was only gonna let me get a Comet, but... we were persuasive." Tibi chuckled. It felt nice to be talking about what broom he had and all that, considering that even thinking about it last term would have been terrible.
Tibi scrunched up his face. "Well... so, um. Well, pidgin is the name for the kind of talking people do when they don't know each others' language. So, like, it's really simple and kinda smushes words from both languages into one." He shrugged. "So, like, it's a way of communicating. "Well, I'm hoping to be in either Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw....I don't know much about either of those houses so they really interest me!" Avery was becomeing less nervous and shy the more the people in her compartment started to talk to her. "Third year huh? So what house are you in?" Avery should have paid closer attention to the converation before, she might have have learned all things before. But being who she was she had drowned out their talking because she was too shy to talk to other people. | |
