And if you get on the team, then I'll cheer for you!" unless, unless, Treyen got on Hufflepuff and tried out and made the team and played against Ravenclaw and Tiberius was playing with Ravenclaw and they had a game against each other and then, and then...well, it's obvious that under that situation he won't be cheering for Tibi-Ty-T.

"You have? What kind? Mine's a Barking Owl, and I named him Gilderoy, you know, like the Gilderoy that knew Harry Potter, I told you about that" aha, aha, a nod, a nod, "Pidgin? Why that name?" perhaps Tibi-Ty-T had inherited his mother's sense for names.

And...look at that! There was another much-too-older boy in there as well. Treyen smiled, "Jack-Jack? My father's name is Jack! Jack Lockhart, he used to play Quidditch professionally" yes, a very interesting fact indeed, "Great to meet you, Jack-Jack. Want a drooble?" he asked, as he offered the boy some of the gum.

Satine smiled as Niege nibbled on her finger a little bit because she had stopped petting it for a second. She started back up and then focused back on Kel. "Well I guess I have your birthday present list done, but you still have to act really surprised when you get it! So start testing your surprise face."

She laughed a little at the idea of someone accidently eating the wrong jelly bean again....she had to use this one on someone..."Me...evil....never....." Satine said with the most innocent face she could create.

Satine instantly felt butterflies in her stomach and started questioning if she should've told Kel or not. She almost felt nauseated when he coughed and made that look. She became a little defensive at his question...but kept her voice down. "No I don't have anyone picked out...I'm keeping my options open...." she glanced at his face and instantly knew what he was thinking..."And stop looking at me like that....I am not too young...if I remember right the year I met you you had already gone head over heels for Jenn...and let's see...you were....o yah...that's right a third year..." she said with a small smirk since she had obviously just spouted a very important fact that should wipe that look off his face...

"And it's not like that's the only thing I'm focusing on...it's just..." she glanced at Aaron and Iris..."Everyone I've met has already had a boyfriend or girlfriend and it's never really been important to me, but this summer I decided it was time for me to open my eyes and pay attention to the boys around me and not just school..." she said with a puppy dog look...she didn't think she was crazy...but maybe she was....talking to Kel would def help her decide....he was the best big bro ever....

"Huh." Ken was never one for history, he wasn't even pureblood so he had no idea who she was talking about, the Black family and such meant nothing to him .

Great! Another person to talk to! Helena felt her stomach unwind from its knots, and she grinned at the newcomer.

"I'm Helena. It's my first time at Hogwarts, and I hope we'll have so much fun here! I can't wait to see the school. I bet it's huge and wonderful, and just...so much fun!"

Helena winced inwardly as she listened to herself blather on, but she couldn't help it. She wanted so much for Sherri and Scipia to like her, she just had to talk about anything and everything that came to mind. It was awful. I just hope they don't think I'm stupid or something, she thought.

Grinning wryly at Katie, Cy shrugged. "I told you Katie, you just have to do one small thing and I'll tell you exactly what it means." He then gave a head nod in Legend's direction. Hehehehe.

Cy shook his shaggy dark hair, getting it out of his eye. "Mate, I wouldn't eat anything of Katie's. Just sayin'." He winked at the curly-headed Hufflepuff, all good fun?

And Legend was pulling the HOUSE card was he? "Oh they ah' mate? I think it's a bit easiah' to sneak a tiny fox on rather than a full grown rott-weiler... but I'll let you have it." Cy laughed smugly, Ozzy wasn't exactly a 'good' dog. He harassed all of the kangaroo's around the reservation.

Cy nodded, he'd tell him all about the dragon's. He could go on for hours and hours and... HOURS!

"Did yah? What happened mate, stay in Italy?" Cy always wanted to go to Italy. The girls were ummm, attractive there. As Cy had most recently discovered, girls were more than just ANNOYING. But he wouldn't DARE mention any of that to Legend. No way. mate.

The Aussie quickly grinned widely, he'd missed Mat's surfer dude attitude. A LOT. "Good news mate. We're gonna make some," He eyed Katie instinctively, "destruction." Ahhh the good ol' days were back.

Skating? Cy looked to Katie with a bit of a surprise. Even Cy liked skating! Especially in the half-pipe. Of course, he preferred surfing, but perhaps Katie wasn't resolutely useless. "Neato." It really was.

Look of his FACE? Hahaha, Cy laughed out loud at that one. "You know me too well. It's never to early to work our magic." And he didn't mean magic with a wand. "Look, we'll TRY and NOT get you in trouble. But no promises." He threw in an extra wind for a better effect. MUAHAHA.

Crossing his arms, he nodded at Katie. "JAE! Haven't seen that bloke in a long. bloody. time. Hope they get here soon."

"Mr Hamster, I think you are chewing through my shirt now," Orlando whispered into his shirt. Which looked exactly as weird as it sounds.

Feeling a little tickle and letting out a little giggle, Orlando moved forward. Where to sit? Where to sit? Where to siiiit?

Danny was nowhere around, KT was nowhere to be seen. And if KT was missing - it meant Legend was missing with her. So not cooool. Maybe if he could shout Danny's name or KT's name out loud. They will come out from somewhere. He had half the urge to just randomly get in some compartment - but that would be so rude.

And then he felt the tickling, felt it hard - felt it so that it made him stumble around and backward as he reached inside his shirt to get the little Hamster but before he could, he was falling down on his butt and hitting his head on a half open compartment door. "OW!"

The cool part of this situation was that he thought he saw KT. And Legend. And the Kid with different language powers - and some other kids. The uncool part: He was lying on his back, with a hamster down his shirt - who was still tickling him.

Jack blinked at the younger boy. They tried to ship him to AUSTRALIA?! What...on EARTH had gotten into them?! He gaped at the boy for a bit before he realized that he was, indeed, staring at him and he shook his head.

"So you tried to send Kazi to Australia...and you lived to tell the tale?!" he asked in amazement. Whoaaaa. This kid was like...Super!Ravie. Yeah. Definitely. You had to be super to try and send Kazi down under and still be able to see the sun rise.

He looked up as someone else entered the room...ahh, another youngin'. Maybe they'd be a Gryffindor? They needed to take over LouAnn's spot on the points board now that she was MIA.

"Hi, I'm Jack, Jack Fritzera," he said with a smile, holding out a hand for a shake. "Lockhart...are you by any chance related to a Kaika Lockhart? Former Huffie and Quidditch Captain?" he asked in curiousity. Lockhart was not a name you heard very often--it was just as common as Fritzera. Hehe.

Mina pulled her attention from the window and to the compartment door. Why hadn't anyone come by? That was really odd. Maybe she should have just sat in the middle of the train. Her friends would have surely found her there, but they all knew how studious she was and would prefer the quiet of the front. She was still a bit of the wallflower, even though she didn't want to accept that fact.

Digging through her bag, she pulled out a journal. Jade had wanted her to write down how her year went and if her hair flipping lessons got any results. She really thought her cousin had lost it but she didn't have the heart to say no to her favorite cousin. Hello, she is one of two cousins you have and the only girl. Obviously, she would be the favorite. Yes, her inner voices were back again. She had been so happy to not deal with them all summer, but she always knew they would be back. Jade had taught her this silly hair flip and she was to try it on boys and report back to her and maybe even write to this Jayden Monroe about it. Who in Merlin's beard this Jayden was Mina really didn't know. She had a feeling it was the guy her cousin had a 'date' with after their Transylvania trip, but she didn't pry too much for information. She did have grounds for being a pain to Jade for her teasing during the Qudditch World Cup and she would wait her payback later.

Pulling a new quill out, she went to work writing down things in the journal. Hopefully one of her friends would finally find her or maybe she would make another friend. She didn't want to fall back into the slump she did first year. It was to be a new start for her and she didn't want to continue to just be thought as a quiet, studious 'Claw. She was more than that and she was determined to show everyone that. She would not always be hiding in the common room or library anymore. She would explore more, make more friends, and definitely try out for the house team. She had plans and she was going to see them through.

Raiden was on patrol.

Because, you know... prefect. They had to do that, right? A little? Kinda?

So yeah. Wandering around, looking in on people and making sure mischief was not being made. Being all... prefecty.

Hah. Sure.

So, it was while doing this, that he came across what looked like an empty compartment. Curiously, Raiden slid the door open and looked inside; empty compartments were rare this far into the trip, most times. Many people would spread themselves out, and usually there were at least two or three in each...

Well apparently this one wasn't empty. There was someone else in here. Slightly surprised, Raiden hovered in the doorway, tilting his head slightly to see if he could see the other boy's face.

"Oh. Hello."

Wah?

Jumping slightly Alex looked up and to the door where he saw another boy about his age. Who had apparently just spoken to him.

"Hi," Alex said quietly as he assessed the other boy. Well what he could see of him anyway. He looked like... Well he was Asian, that much was clear, and he looked Korean but then he didn't look Korean. Confuzzling much.

"Can I help you with anything?" He finally decided to ask since the silence was getting just a bit awkward. To him at least. All the while he continued to surreptitiously study the other boy, trying to find a definite race for him, since something in him told him that he was going to like the other a lot. It was that same feeling that had stopped him from being completely rude to the other.

...he was being all awkward again. Raiden mentally facepalmed and his neck and ears turned a bit red before he managed a small smile.

"No, I'm just kinda... wandering around. I thought this one was empty, which... was kinda surprising. Usually you can't find an empty compartment this late into the trip. So I wanted to make sure there weren't people hiding in here getting up to mischief." Er. "Are you new? I've never seen you around Hogwarts."

Not that he knew everyone, but... well he knew a lot of people, whether from classes or just from the fact that they were in his own house. And this person looked like he was about his age, so he really would know who he was if he wasn't new.

"Even if you're not, I've never met you, so... I'm Raiden Kururugi." He stepped into the compartment and held out his hand.

"Why does everyone ask that?" Alex asked under his breath. Was it so very obvious that he didn't know what was going on here? Oh well at least most people that asked that ended up being nice to Alex. And the boy didn't seem like he was mean..."Yeah I'm new." Alex said, remembering that he hadn't ACTUALLY answered the question.

"Well there's no mischief in here. It's kinda hard to make trouble when by yourself." Alex said with a slightly small smile.

Raiden gave the boy's hand a firm shake before withdrawing his own. Alexander Hyeung? His last name was very, very Korean. Raiden suddenly felt strangely HOPEFUL. Kiri was Japanese, but she didn't speak it... and he had yet to meet another person who could speak the same language as him. No, English didn't count.

"I thought so... You look like you're my age, a bit? And I know a lot of the fifth years, so... yeah. And you never know. Some people manage to get themselves in trouble all on their lonesomes sometimes." He shrugged and leaned against the wall. "Uhm... Hanguksaram?"

Hmm this Raiden character seemed to have a strange light in his eyes...Was this good or not? Only one way to find out...

"Whether I'm your age or not I'm not sure, since I don't know how old you are. And who said I was a fifth year?" Alex asked curiously. "I mean I am one but yea..." he trailed off into silence using his hand to rub at the back of his neck. A nervous habit which he'd developed.

"Ne," Alex answered instinctively using the same language as the person before him. It seemed he'd been right. Raiden was Korean, or at least he knew some Korean. Either way it was a plus in Alex's book. "You?" he asked, reverting back to English.

"Nobody said you were," Raiden replied, shrugging. "I just figured that you looked around my age, so... it's possible you were a fifth year? Why, are you older? I'm... well I'm fifteen now but I'll be sixteen in November."

He didn't look older, but then again Raiden was no good judge of age. And if he were older then... wouldn't he be a sixth year? Eh. Not sure.

"Ne," Raiden said with a nod. "Well... a bit. Half. Half Japanese, half Korean." Nod. Again. "I've never been to Korea, though... but my mum lives there now."

And she wanted him to live there. Not happening, not if he had anything to say about it.

"No I am a fifth year, although I'm younger then you. I'm still fourteen, although I do turn 15 this month." Alex revealed, figuring it was only fair to share the same information that he had indirectly asked for.

"Ahh that explains it. I thought you looked Korean but then you kinda didn't..." Alex trailed off thinking that that might not be the best information to reveal. Never been to Korea? "Really?" he asked aloud. "It's kinda pretty especially Seoul, if you think that the urban landscape is pretty that is."

Oh and the boy. No Raiden was still standing. That wouldn't do. It simply wasn't polite of him. "Would you like to sit?" he offered hesitantly, for some reason unsure how to act around this boy. He kinda liked him already but it was strange...

"Ooh younger. I didn't think you looked older than me, but you can never tell, you know." He never thought anyone looked their age, so yeah. Hmm. "So I've got you by almost a year." He grinned. "If we were in Korea, that would make me the hyung."

Not that he knew that awful much about Korea, past the stuff his mother had explained to him while teaching him the language.

"I've heard that Seoul's nice," Raiden said in agreement, pulling away from the wall and sitting on the seat across from Alex. "I was born in Japan, because my mum moved there for my father... but when I was... two? I think? We came here, for certain reasons." Nod. "And we've been here ever since."

Oh.

"Did you just move here recently? You kinda have... that accent. Like my mum has."

"Yeah I do. I'm normally a good guess but then some people look older then they are while others look younger. Normally I wait until they tell me their age before I mention anything that may be generational/age related." Alex somewhat babbled, or he could tell he was going to if he didn't stop there anyway. "Hmm that or sunbae..." Alex said, considering what Raiden had said. It was true that he could be called hyung since he was older, but that was more reserved for brothers or really close males. Whereas Sunbae implied that Raiden was older and that Alex respected him... Maybe he'd go with hyung.

"It's great, I grew up there actually. I kinda miss it and wish I was still there." he said with a sad smile. "Is Japan interesting? I went there once but then my yeo-dongsaeng got sick so we had to stay inside until she got better." Thankfully she had got better, just in time for the trip to be over and he and his hyung to have seen nothing of the country they had begged their parents to take them too.

"My parents moved us at the beginning of the Summer." Alex confirmed. There was no need to deny it since he'd been given away by his accent. That and he wasn't ashamed of just moving here. To deny it would to say that he was.

"Some people want to look older though," Raiden said thoughtfully, leaning back a bit in the seat, his eyes looking toward the ceiling as he thought about it. "Sometimes girls. The ones our age, they want to look older, they think it makes them more attractive or something." He made a face. "It just makes it more difficult to tell how young they are."

And surely a lot of people wanted to look younger.

Oooh yes. Sunbae, he'd forgotten about that one. Sunbae would be more appropriate, really, wouldn't it? Because hyung was... yeah. Heh. He'd forgotten himself.

"I don't know much about Japan. I was still really little when we left, and my family didn't go out that much. I wasn't even born in Tokyo or Kyoto or one of those big huge, well-known places. Well... kinda. I guess Hokkaido is well-known in its own way." He tapped his chin. "My mum has some pictures from there, when I was little. It was really pretty, I think."

Awww. Sick on vacation was never fun. Raiden nodded sympathetically. If he ever got to go to Japan, he'd want to go out and explore. He'd... probably get lost or something, but he wanted to do it anyway. Just for fun!

"Well welcome then!" Raiden said happily, bouncing slightly in his seat as he sat up. "You haven't been here long, but I'm sure you'll like Hogwarts. I dunno if it can beat Seoul, but it's... really amazing there."

When, you know, people were dropping dead in the halls and hexing each other when backs were turned.

"If I was a girl I'd want to look younger, or you know the age that I am." If they looked younger they could get away with the cute clothes that his sister often wore. When they looked older it just didn't work out for them. Getting lost in thoughts Alex started to bite his lower lip.

"So what do you prefer. Sunbae or Hyung?" Alex asked, deciding that he may just call Raiden hyung if the boy picked it. Because like well... Actually Alex wasn't sure why since they didn't know each other that well but the word seemed to fit. Maybe he was just missing his actual hyung more then he thought it was.

"Ohh I thought that you may have gone back or something..." Well obviously he hadn't but Raiden didn't seem unhappy about it. He probably liked the UK though if he spent most of his life here.

He seemed excitable. What with the bouncing. If Alex were a girl he'd probably think it was cute. As it were he wasn't exactly sure what to make of it. "I think the UK is getting better everyday. I'm meeting some pretty awesome people which makes it more bearable. I'm just sad my hyung choose to stay in South Korea instead of coming with the family." he said somewhat sadly. "Then again I'm a bit wary after what I've heard about the house I've been placed in." Alex revealed with a little shrug as if to say but what can you really do.

"I think they do it to look more... sophisticated is the word? I'm not sure." He shrugged, suddenly wondering... if... "I haven't actually taken notice, if my friends look older than they are."

Was that a bad thing? He knew Cela and Daphne and Kiri were pretty, but... he didn't really look at them? It would probably make them all annoyed with him. Meh.

Er. He got to pick? That was something he didn't expect. Raiden thought for a second, biting the inside of his cheek. Hyung or Sunbae? Sunbae was more... appropriate, he thought. But...

"I like the word hyung better, to be honest," he admitted, grinning. "Just how it sounds. You don't have to call me that if you don't want to though! Really, it's up to you."

Ooooh. Nope. Nope. Raiden hadn't gone back. Not that he didn't want to, just... well his mother and father had never thought it a good idea. Maybe now, though, what with him being a lot better than before, he could go? Maybe. It would be FUN.

AWWWWW. Alex's hyung hadn't come with? That was sad! It reminded Raiden a bit of his little brother being so far away... maybe if he got to go to Japan, he'd get to see Shiro again? Not that it was... really a grand idea, to go visiting his uncle, but it would be nice to see his younger brother.

"Maybe he'll come visit!" Raiden offered, a hopefully comforting suggestion. He did, however, frown when Alex mentioned his house and the... stigmas attached to it. "What? Which house did you get? I'm sure it's not bad, all the houses are really good! I'm in Slytherin, there's lots of nice people in with me there. And I've got friends in all the houses, everyone's really great."

Except for the few bad apples, but what school didn't have those?

OH. She just addressed him as a cowboy and he isn't a cowboy at all! "Okay... you're forgiven!" uttered Cedric, scrutinizing her. Cedric tried to have a glimpse of his hair as the girl said that it's curly and tangling. Well it is! "Mmyeah! Curly. Tangling... but it's precious, isn't it?" Cedric glowered at her though inwardly, he was trying to calm himself.

Then the girl introduced her name, so her name's Annie. Nice name! and then she somewhat asked for his name. He swallowed the lump in his throat. "I'm Cedric Nicholas Leone but you can call me Ced." Cedric introduced himself, smiling broadly. He took out his hand out of his pocket and offered it to Annie for her to shake.

Nella was still very afraid of the shock when she walked through 9 and 3/4, her heart was beating very hard she could hear it in her ears, maybe that was due to the fact that she was a 1st year, maybe next time it won't be that scary, she hoped that her pale fave will be unnoticed. she entered the front of the train, hoping that she'll find an empty compartment, seemingly there are none available. so she kept on walking till she found one at the end of the train.
