A large, charmed chalkboard hangs just outside the door to the Potions classroom. Here you will find important announcements regarding class times and dates, homework due dates, lab information and any other information pertinent to this class. Quote:

Attendance in this class is mandatory for all first year students and transfer students. It is recommended as a refresher to all students with the exception of NEWT level students, who are certainly welcome but are not required to attend this class.

It is mandatory for all first year students and transfer students to arrive early so they may attend Potions Orientation. It is recommended that any students who are not strong in potions also arrive early for the Basic Potions Orientation. NEWT level students are certainly welcome but are not required to attend this portion of class.
First years and transfer students: Please read the first chapter of Introduction to Potions: Chapter One- Laboratory Basics before coming to class.

ooc: I will open the thread sometime today, 05 Sept. 2010. Please feel free to RP your character coming in, getting set up, etc. We will begin the class tomorrow morning, 06 Sept 2010 (Eastern Time) with a Basic Potions Orientation class for firsties, transfer students and those in need of remedial assistance (everyone is welcome, no worries!). Once we've covered that material I will make an announcement that Basic Potions will begin and we will move on to Potions One.  Any questions, feel free to PM me. Xana~
