"Oh, thank you Mr. Warren. My name is Kay Potter, sir." Kay said smiling at the Quidditch player. 'God, why are they so cute.' Kay thought. "I can't wait to see you play in the Quidditch world cup."

Rafe laughed as Quinn spoke of his coach. He was such a nice bloke. For a moment he wished he had an older brother to talk about Quidditch stuff with. That would awesome. "Well, he is the quite the character...I mean looke at his reputation...it's pretty memorable, suspended a hundred times and suspended six times while he was coaching the Wigtown Wanderers! I mean, it's not what everyone would want to be remembered as, but then again it is memorable nonetheless!"

Rafe looked over at Colin and Alistair. He could imagine them getting in quite a few arguments if not duels.

"Well, it's pretty cool that he's a Keeper and all, but you shouldn't let him steal the show, it's all of you that make it so wonderful!" And personally, Kizzie and Emma, made it really wonderful for him. Just look at them. He gave Emma a wink. He looked back at Quinn, "I mean there is no 'I' in team after all. It takes all of you for the win! So how do you think you chances are for the World Cup? Whose your biggest competitor?"

"MY seat, pretty boy," Cleaver sneered. "Think I wouldn't let YOU of all people outta my sight? Wrong!"

Fia watched as the coach for the English World Quidditch team made his way into the tent. That man made Professor Kazi look like an angel. Shivers. And in walked Colin MacKenzie. WOW! He was even better looking in person.

She walked over to Emma and grinned. "Can you sign my parchment please?" She stared at the lady for a moment wondering what it was like to be a quidditch star? "Did you always know you wanted to play Pro Quidditch?"

Emma Greene was not embarrassed. Well, very well, she could have possible been a twinge embarrassed. Promptly, her cheeks were flooded by a pink and red splotches. It wasn't the cute that got to her. It was mostly the use of 'ma'am'. Err.

Awkward. She was a cute ma'am. "Thank you," she still said, a smile on her lips. "It's good to know that even though I've fallen off the broom face first a few times I still manage to uh...keep...something."

Something.

Very very thankful for a distraction, Emma beamed at Chris. "Oh, what have we got here?" she mumbled conversationally as her brown eyes took in the drawing. Ha. Hahaha! Coughing, trying to cover up her chuckles, Emma swallowed hard. "Oh, wow. Thank you! I love it. I'll be putting this up in the locker room."

Show Quinn Gallagher who was boss. Yeah! Her fans were artists. What did he get?

I should teach Drake and Colin a lesson before these kids. Public humiliation. Perhaps a broken nose or split lip. "I never pegged you to be the tardy one, Drake. Usually, it's Colin."

But before Alistair could continue with his verbal jabs, the sound of a student screaming for HIS autograph nearly made his ears bleed. "Bloody hell! Must you scream that LOUD?"

Quinn had another smirk for that statement that the Gryffindor just made. "Yeah! Too bad that was just one game." Tee Hee. "I must say, little Gryffindor, you have quite a head on those shoulders.

"Oh I think we have a shoe-in for the World Cup. I'm a part of the best team out there and if it wasn't for these lads...and lassies of course, then I'd be selling Daily Prophets in Diagon Alley." He thought for a moment and shrugged. "Well since Germany is out..." he chuckled lowly and continued. "I believe France would be our biggest compeition out there." He leaned back d crossed his arms to his chest. "You planning on coming to the World Cup? It's going to be pretty close this year." That gave them all the more momentum to win this year.

"I thought having a head on your shoulders was a bit of a requirement with being a Quidditch player," Rafe laughed teasingly. "Quidditch is a way of life. I haven't really thought about being anything else. I mean people have ambitions of being Aurors and Department Heads, I could never imagine myself behind a desk. I want at adventure!" Rafe could just imagine being in their shoes, one day being a hero younger to himself. It was for guys like Quinn right there in front of him that made Quidditch even more special. They were so down to earth.

"I will definitely be there! Or at least I hope so, tickets can sometime be hard to come by, but my mum has managed to get tickets to every one since I was born, so this year shouldn't be a problem!" Rafe was so ecstatic. Before he knew it, it would be just a couple of more months and the World Cup would be here! "I'm a bit of a Transylvania fan, my mum kind of instilled that in me, plus that's where I was born, but if they were in the finals, I would have to secretly root for England on the side!" Rafe laughed. He could only imagine how his mum would react to him being a converted fan. "So who is your favorite player of all time?"

If it hadn’t been for the two young boys that had come up to him up at the platform, Colin would’ve snapped and started shouting at the coach who was sitting in his seat. Honestly, he had no idea why Alistair was being such a pain in the butt – more than he usually was, anyway – when the team was getting closer and closer to winning that World Cup. You’d think that the old man would lighten up a little, right? But nooo! He just had to end up coming to ‘babysit’ a team of grown adults, mainly him, just because he was their coach and all that. It wasn’t like they were going to feast on tons of sweets such as Chocolate Frogs, Fizzing Whizbees, and Jelly Slugs so they’d get way out of shape just before their next match. Though all those Chocolate Frogs would be rather tempting.

“Hello, boys,” Colin said, trying his best to put on a smile as he turned his head from Alistair to them. Looking at the first boy who was apparently named Joshua, he looked down at the papers that the child was holding and nodded his head. “Ahh, I see. I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have, m’boy. And I’d be happy to throw in an autograph if you’d like. Did you know that I am one of the world’s best autographers? Mhhm!”

Turning to the other boy, Rafe, he blinked when he ended up having a pair of old and rather ugly gloves in his hands. What in the world would he want to do with those? Did the little boy not know that he had a perfectly good pair of his own gloves? “Erm, thanks, kid. I, uhh, yeah, thanks. I’m – I’m speechless.” And he, honest to Merlin, was mostly because he was a bit confused with Rafe’s gift. Then again, he could possibly use the old keeper’s gloves to throw at Alistair for taking his seat....

“I think you should go take a Calming Draught, Cleaver,” he said over his shoulder as the coach started talking to Drake about his tardiness as well as his own. He then tilted his head toward Drake, his eyelids narrowing slightly, before continuing, “Turning up late happens sometimes, and I’m sure Drake will never show up late again without a good excuse. As for me, I had a reasonable excuse.” Like usual. “But I think being tardy is nothing compared to yelling at children, which seen to be so keen on doing.”

Kay listened to Rafe asking all of his questions and wished she could be that brave. Kay couldn't think of anything to ask. "Rafe you are asking some great questions. Did you get autographs too?" Kay asked him. She hoped that she wasn't bugging him. They hadn't talked seen the day in class when he faked he was sick.

All this standing around idly while Coach Cleaver was yelling was making her nervous. Chewing on the inside of her cheek, Emma Greene took back the gift basket from Chris, tucked it underneath one arm.

"Thanks again, kid," she said and tucked the drawing he had given her underneath her arm too. "Erm. I'm going to go sit now. I think we're about to start anytime soon. You have good time, okay? You make sure you ask everyone for their autographs."

And...erm, stuff. What else did fans do? "Oh, and take pictures." There. That did it. As slyly as possible, trying not to attract attention to herself (and all the treats in her gift basket) Emma took a seat.

Heh. Seekers were supposed to be light. As inconspicuously as possible, Emma glanced down at herself. She hadn't gained weight had she?

Rafe got the impression that Colin didn't fully appreciate the gifts. Did he know how rare they were?! Oliver Wood was an England Quidditch Legend....actually he was a Scotsman! Shouldn't Colin appreciate such a gift! It's not like Rafe expected him to use them. Rafe just rolled his eyes. He certainly lived up to his reputation. "I, err, You're Welcome!" Rafe tried to imitate his accent. Just goes to show when fame would go to your head. Rafe didn't even bother asking for an autograph. He just went back over to Quinn, he was a pretty awesome guy compared to Colin. "Hot Scot? More like Hot Slop!" Rafe said under his breath. Oh goodness, did he say that outloud? Well, it was quiet maybe he didn't hear.

"Sir, Colin MacKenzie," Fia said in a small yet gentle voice to gather the attention of the rather handsome young Quidditch star. "May I..." She couldn't finish her sentence without her nerves beginning to take over. GAH! It was great when it was Miles playing but these were real stars! Wow! She held out her shaking hands with a piece of parchment and a feathered quill.

"Oh hello! Sorry I didn't see you, got distracted by the total unappreciation," Rafe smirked. Oh, well. "I'm such a huge fan of Quidditch, I mean it's like my life! I was so thrilled when I made the Quidditch team. Some people are just destined for things." Rafe smirked. Oh, to play professionally, it was such a fantasy of his. "Eh...I'm not big on autographs. I mean they're great for some people, but I just like to make a mental note and take everything in. I don't need an autograph to remind me of this day! I'll remember this day for the rest of my life!"

Kay could tell that Rafe was really happy to be here. He was so into Quidditch. "Yes, I love Quidditch, too. I made my house team as well. But only as a sub. I'm not as good as you, but I was hoping to learn some things here." Kay said smiling at Rafe. "Do you want to play on a pro team some day?" Kay asked him.

"Ah, well then there's a chance we'll be playing each other in the finals!" Rafe said excitedly. "Beware of my competitiveness..." Rafe raised an eyebrow. It was true, he would do anything to win and if he "accidentally" knocked someone off their broom to do it, well whoops! "Oh, yeah playing pro is my dream and life-long goal! Quidditch is like oxygen to me!"

As Bella made her way over, she saw that Emma had sat down. Was she tired? Well Bella had the erge to get Emma’s autograph so badly, Bella didn't know why since she'd only really had read about Emma, but Emma seemed like a nice person. Bella saw how some other kid gave Emma a picture.
"THE PICTURE!" thought Bella as her thoughts were coming back to her. She had drawn picture for Emma. oh hopefully Emma wouldn't reject.

"Hello," said Bella with her light tone of voice. "Could you sign my book?" she asked showing her Quidditch book. Bella had nothing else with her at the time except a pen, her book, and the picture.

"Oh I drew I picture for you," said Bella getting out the picture from the pocket on her skirt.

" Thank you again for everything Emma" Jason told her. " J hope you do well in the match" Jason said to Emma.

"That is perfect." Brody nodded, as she got her camera out. Now she just had to figure out how to use this thing. Someone had shown her, she just needed to remember. She stared at the thing for a few seconds before "aah." She giggled and held it up to take a picture of Quinn. "Brilliant. Thank you very....Oh. My. God." He attention was stolen from Quinn as one very hot quidditch player walked in. Colin MacKenzie had finally arrived. "Erm. Yes. Bye Quinn." She mumbled as her feet started to walk her over to that really hot Colin guy.

Oh great Fia was here. Bunch over loser he's mine. She shot the girl an evil glare before smiling at Colin. Pwhoor. "Hey Mr McKenzie."

Celandine stood up and made her way over to Quinn Gallagher, a tiny smile on her face. She'd go see Drake next of course, and she'd prepared something special for both of them. She giggled to herself, wondering how long it had taken them to get the permanent ink off their arms when she'd signed the two beaters the term before.

She'd grown a bit, gained a few inches, but she was soooo sure that she was memorable enough that they wouldn't have forgotten her, it wasn't like they got autographs every day!

She rolled her eyes as a bunch of students started flipping out over Colin Mackenzie. Reaaaally. If you were going to support Quidditch, you should support the beaters, since they had nice arms and all.

Celandine stopped where Quinn, or 'Q' could see her, a piece of parchment in her hands and a laugh in her eyes. While she waited she peeked over her shoulder at Drake Warren, teehee. She'd seen him flex for her at his last game, just like she'd asked him to.

Kay smiled at Rafe. She loved Quidditch to and would do anything to play. "Well bring it on my Gryffindor friend." Kay laughed. "Being competitive is the only way to be. That's the fun part. I wouldn't have it any other way." Kay said looking at the other Pro players, who were have a heated talk with the Coach. "They sure don't like their coach do they?' Kay said looking back to Rafe. "Anyway, I would love to play again you in the finals. But like I said I'm only a sub. Some one would have to be hurt or not show up for me to play this year. But I am ready." Kay said with a wicked smile on her face.

''Great!'' Josh nodded with his cheerful expression ''I don't really understand what an autograph matters to most people, it definitely does not mean that the autographer loves you, does it? So why do fangirls scream for it? Anyway this is confusing. If you are going to feel happy that you have signed my paper, it's okay then i can have an autograph.'' he roared with laughter ''Just kidding. You are a cool man anyway and thank you for accepting my questions'' he nodded and handed him the paper.

With a little flourish, Kiri pushed aside the fabric covering the entrance of the tent, and slipped inside. Immediately, she nearly bumped into someone. The tent was packed. Students mingled with professors mingled with... yes, there were the Quidditch players, the members of the England team. In their vicinity, the groups were the biggest, a proper mingleosity of shoved-around people and trodden-upon feet. Kiri wondered how she would ever manage to get near one.

They were doing well, apparently. Kiri didn't care much for Quidditch, but she wasn't living in a cave, either. And only by blocking her ears whenever she left the bed would it have been possible not to overhear students talking about the exciting events at the Quidditch world cup.
Of course, she was a little more involved now. Her time on a broomstick at the match against Hufflepuff, short as it had been, had left an impression on her. It was not the kind of impression that was the result of a well-aimed Bludger. Quite the opposite. The roaring and shouting of the crowd, and the soaring wind, all that had been oddly exhilarating. The fascination of the sport was a little clearer to her now.

Was that what had started off these internationally known players' careers as well in the first place?
She pushed forward a little, looking for people she knew, and maybe a Quidditch player who wasn't besieged by an army of fans.

Ahh! "You are headed down the right path and starting out early," Quinn grinned and added. "You've also got tough skin to put up with Coach Cleaver. He's not as bad if you tune him out and dont take it personally. He's a big teddy bear inside once you get to know him. All this," he pointed towards the coach and smile, "...is just fun and games to him. He wants to show just how tough he is."

When the student told of going to the World Quidditch Cup, Quinn's smile widened. "Yes well we as a team plan on being there this year to support our country with pride."

His eyes looked from the Hufflepuff to the direction she was staring in. Figures. Once again, Colin was stealing his thunder, not that it really mattered of course. Just something for him to get the man a hard time about when in the locker room.

But then a familar face entered with the most handsome of all pictures drawn by hand. "I do say, I have another arm for you to sign," Quinn chuckled and winked as his thoughts vaguely remembered the girl from before, but the face he wouldn't forget. "And what a lovely picture you have drawn. I do hope that Professor Vindictus hangs this so that everyone can see just how handsome I am and what a great artist you are." Kidding...only half way.

Soon, Livvy was gradually getting pushed back towards the end of the crowd. Which did NOT make her happy. She needed to interview Quinn Gallagher. They'd have their chance! But right now... it was hers. Glaring slightly at a few of the students that shoved her rudely or stepped right in front of her, just as she was about to walk forward, Livvy made her way back towards the front with her beater's bat tucked under her arm and her notepad and quill in her hand.

"Mr. Gallagher? Could I ask you a few questions before I get pushed back again?" she asked, quickly and politely, ducking as a few arms went here and there. After this, Livvy would go to Drake Warren and hand him the picture that she drew of him. Yup. That's what she'd do.
