The Tent - Flying Lesson #3 Quote:
Situated just outside of the Quidditch Stadium, is a massive white tent - the type typically seen at outdoor events. Once you enter the tent, you notice that a platform has been erected at one end with nine chairs lined up behind a long table that's covered with a white and red cloth, and emblazoned with the logo of the English National Quidditch Team. Facing the platform, are neatly arranged rows of purple chairs that are each emblazoned with the Hogwarts crest. Come in and have a seat. |
Tibi walked timidly into the tent and took a seat, stowing his things beneath the chair. His fascination with Quidditch was practically brand new, and he had no idea what to expect. He looked around expectantly for either a friend or something interesting to watch, as opposed to just sitting alone. |
Ohmygosh omygosh omygosh. They are HERE! At Hogwarts! Miranda was practically bouncing with excitement, she could not believe that these awesome Quidditch players were going to be sitting just a few feet away. Camera ready, protected under her robe as to not get it wet incase it rained, she hurried inside looking like a squirrel searching for food. Chairs! Yes, as always, Miranda took a seat in the middle at the front row. Now was NOT the time to have some giant sit infront of you. Well, not ever really. She flashed a grin at the fellow student who had been the first one to arrive, apparently, and that grin stayed on her face as she turned to watch the podium. Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. |
Chris Potter walked into thelarge tent and looked around. It was definately nice looking, just ready for the special Quidditch guests to arrive. He smiled happily and walked to a chair close to the front and in the center, so he could see all of them when they arrived. He waited excitedly to meet the members of the English Quidditch team! |
Marie walked into the large tent to find only a couple of students had arrived. She took a seat near the front hoping she would be close enough that she would be able to ask some questions. Marie really did not know much about Quidditch so she had lots of questions to ask. |
Kip took a deep breath as he walked across the grounds of Hogwarts towards the tent which had been specially set up for this lesson. He had been asked to come here by Max Vindictus, along with the rest of the British All Star Team, and understood that he would be helping out with the lesson today. Hmmm, that should be interesting, Kip had always been a great flier but never that sharp with intellectual things. But he was willing to give it a go. "Max, I'm here!", he called out, wondering if he was going to be the last player to show up, as was often the case. He hoped that Colin, his captain, wasn't here yet. He was bound to hear about it later if he was. "Hello, students," he said, seeing some kids were waiting. |

Evelyn, who totally did not practically sprint to the tent as fast as she could out of pure excitement, took a deep breathe and walked into the tent. There weren't very many people here yet, and she didn't see anyone she knew, but that didn't matter. Though she did spot one of the Quidditch team players that would be present today. 'Oh my...merlin...it's Kip Norwood.' she froze in place, staring at him for a second or so before shaking out of it and taking her seat. 'Stop staring! You'll look like an idiot. Plus it's rude...okay. All good. Yes. Good.' Now if one of her friends would just come... |

Errr... "Who was that..." Miranda mumbled, looking around with a most dissaproving look on her face. Seriously, there was no need to be so LOUD. Heh. "Hello, sir, Mr. Norwood, sir." Miranda rabbled, hopping up on her chair and pulled out her camera. "Mind if I take a picture?" she asked but didn't wait. "It's for the yearbook..." Yeah. Totally. |
Destiny made her way to the tent. Everyone seemed excited but not really her. She liked Quidditch but didn't know any of the players. So nothing to get excited about, right? She knew of one but that was only because her brother had posters of her all over his wall. 'Creeper.' She finally made her way into the tent and spotted a big guy she didn't recognize. 'Must be one of them..' Taking a seat next to Evelyn, who seemed excited, Destiny leaned in closer so the big guy wouldn't hear 'Which one is that?' Definitely not the one her brother fancies. |
Max slipped into the tent after a long and typical argument with his brother. His argument was that this was a Ministry event and that Rex should be the one running it. But cantakerous Rex countered by stating Maximus was the Hogwarts employee who taught the precious skills of flying and Quidditch, and should be honored to have such prestigious guests. When he left his office, his mood soured even further when he caught a glimpse of the House Points Hourglasses. Not good at all, Ravenclaw. No wonder your professors have owled me constantly all term regarding your laziness and lack of homework. You've gotta EARN the points through doing homework! So it wasn't his fault that he was a bit grumpy. "Ahh, Kip. Good to see you," he said as he shook Norwood's hand. "Things should pick up once the others arrive, so feel free to talk to the students, pose for pictures and sign autographs." |

Evelyn was too absorbed in staring at Kip Norwood *Squee!*, and having a hard time not jumping up and running over and making a fool of herself...she didn't even notice Destiny sit next to her or say something until a few seconds later. "Hmm?" She spoke distractedly, turning her attention for a SPLIT second to the other girl before turning back to the Quidditch player. "Oh! That...is Kip Norwood." she replied breathlessly back to Destiny, but then seeing Professor Vindictus walk in and say...'Autographs? We can get autographs? Happy day!' |
"Oh my goodness, oh my goodness, oh my goodness," Rafe said the entire way down to the tent. He was absolutely esctatic. He was about to meet two of the most beautiful women in the entire Quidditch League. He was carrying to gift baskets for each of them, containing butterbeers, candies (like chocolate frogs, sugar quills, acid pops and fizzing whizbees), some cauldron cakes and pumpkin pasties, as well as broom servicing kit, and professional quidditch goggle (with each of the ladies' individual team colors painted on them). He was breathing so fast and looked as though he was about to feint! |

"So, disregard the owl you get later." Seriously, what was his deal? He looked like a fangirl. She couldn't contain her laughter..."I was going to ask if you and your friend, Arianna, were coming out and offer to save you a seat. Nevermind, though." |

Lucy walked into the huge tent to see what all the fuss was about. She saw a lot of students milling around already, and among them, she spotted Rafe, who was holding..were they gift baskets?? OH, Rafe, she thought. She walked up to him, and then realized that there was a girl there already who was talking to him. "Hiya Rafe! What are those?" She asked raising her eyebrows and pointing at the baskets. He was such a Quidditch-lover sometimes. |
purKle chairs *nods* Quote:
Flopping into the chair, Jake focused his full attention on his (best?) friend instead of the funky quidditch players and tapped the boy on the shoulder. "Huh-huh-hello, struhhh-stranger." Stupid stutter. |
Kip smiled at the students who were clustering around him, he loved the adulation and was used to it. On top of that, he noticed he was the first player who had arrived, now how had that happened? He was usually the last, the thought with a grin. Things were definitely working in his favor, and he might as well enjoy himself. Quote:

Damon walked into the tent in readiness for this next class. Seeing a great quidditch team was something he had always dreamed of. Damon sat down and faced the row chairs. He hoped that this would be a lively discussion |
Zomg! This was so cool! And Colin MacKenzie was SOOOOO Hot! With a smile that could almost be classed as a beam etched onto her face Brody Summers wandered into the big white tent, which almost reminded her of her eldest brothers wedding, unfortunantly then no hot quidditch players had been present. Her eyes darted around looking for him, but he wasn't here yet, some other dude was though. With a smile at the other students she took a seat on one of the purple chairs. This lesson would be interesting. Yeey |

"Hi!" he said brightly, also ignoring the frenzy building around the anticipated arrival of the quidditch players. |

Shana walked into the white tent and smiled. This lesson sounded awesome. "Hello Mr.Norwood, nice day out today." she said before sitting down on one of the purple seats. |

She had almost started to smile all goofy like when Kip had spoken to him, but with a shake of her head Miranda regained her composure and proffesionalism. Snort. "Thankyou very much sir!" Miranda beamed at him and then her jaw almost dropped as he asked if she wanted to take on with him. "Well...yes ofcourse, it would be kind of you!" she said looking around. He was this close to being tackled down by all the students. Her included. "That is, if you're not too busy, Mr. Kip, sir." Raising her eyebrows, she waited with a questioning expression. |
