He followed behind her then ran ahead to win his personal race with her.

Herminny noticed Nate run ahead of her and she gave him a questioning look and asked, "What the heck was that about?".

"I found a way out!" he said pointing at the big opening.

"Awesome", Herminny exclaimed and ran toward the opening narrowly beating Nate out of the maze. She looked back at him and said, "You happy we're free?".

"Yep!" he said holding out an unopen box of jellybeans.

Herminny chuckled, "You are crazy, you know that?".

"Yeah. The one of your face tasted pretty good." he said opening the box.

"Good, you owe me, could I try one of yours", Herminny asked giving Nate a sly smile?"

Nate held out the box. He let her have a few before eating another. He almost threw up. "Puke..." he said.

Herminny chuckled and asked, "Are you okay." She then pooped a bertie bean from her hand into her moth and exclaimed, "Mmm, Mmm", and spit it out.

"What was it?" he said exaiming one and placing it in his mouth.

"Pepper, both hot and absolutely disgusting", HErminny said smiling that he atleast seemed to care. She placed another bertie bean in her mouth, "Ah, strawberry, much more pleasant.".

"Goood." Brody giggled, as she actually imagined Fyo trying to walk around in heels. Not a good picture. And he was already tall enough anyway. No. Definetly not. "Be nice to me?" She shrugged. How was she meant to know? She was the queen afterall not the king. She smiled at him. "Just be my....friend instead?" Close call then.

Brody looked back at the maize for a few seconds. She could go in it now. Fyo would make sure that she didnt get lost wouldn't he?

"I thought I already was," Fyo said, with a grin. "Nice to you, I mean. Your friend, too. Or do you think differently?" He narrowed his eyes at her a bit, mostly in good fun. He couldn't really get mad at her.

He followed her gaze, and looked at the maze. "Shall we go inside?" he asked, with a polite smile.

"Noo...Noo." Brody shook her head, still smiling. He was most definetly her friend. She just wanted more but knew she could never have more. She didnt split people up, that wasn't her. She'd have to be content with just being his friend. "You are a very good friend." She smiled at him, one of the best.

"As long as you don't let me get lost." She grinned at him, before taking his hand and tugging him to the maze.

A very good friend? Mmm... Yayiee! "Thank you," Fyo said, with half a smile. "You're one of my best. My very best."

He smiled again when she grabbed his hand, and half-pulled him into the maze. He had only been inside once before, and that too pretty recently, but he was good at finding his way in complicated areas. "I won't," he promised, as they stepped inside. "Look, a fork! Want to check it out?"

"Aww. Fyo that's so sweet." Brody smiled at him. That was really nice to know. Nobody had ever said that to her. Not even Sylvie. They'd become best friends because it had worked. "You're my very best too."

"Goood." Broidy smiled, as she looked at the fork. Where now? She glanced at both ways. "Yuup" She nodded with a grin. This was gonna be funnn! "Which way?"

"Really?" Fyo asked, surprised. "But you are." He stopped to grin at her, because he found that first statement... well, new. He hadn't known it was sweet to consider someone your best friend. Brody was such an adorable friend! "Thanks," he said, with half a smile. "You are my rock, Brody Summers."

Which way? "How about left?" Fyo suggested. "Because, you know, most people would take right. Left is supposed to be mysterious." Hehe.

Marilyn stalked across the grounds in a huff. Potions had managed to be both interesting and degrading this time around. She closed her eyes, groaning at how she had behaved. Fighting some girl because she looked at Carter Phillips? What was she thinking?! She'd completely lost it, throwing heavy objects and hexes at the poor girl. How lucky was she that no detention had been issued? Well, Kazi did tell you all to drink the potion...

By the time the blonde realized where she had been walking, huge stalks of corn were obscuring her vision. What was this? She glared at the stupid golden corn and realized instantly that this was the maze everyone had been whispering about. Curiosity was eating at her. To enter or not to enter...That is the question...

Ella had never been to the maze before. She was excited for Nate's birthday party; she was about to set out the invitations. She looked around for something to do besides eat your way out of the weird maze. Carter had told her about that one chick, Marilyn.. she wanted to meet her. Thing was, she had no idea how she looked. Humph.

Marilyn finally decided to enter the maze against her better judgment. She had nothing else better to do and some exploring would help clear her mind. Only walking a few feet, the blonde caught sight of a familiar brunette. Hadn't she seen this girl with Carter a few times? She wore Gryffindor robes and had a huge smile...Ella.

Marilyn gave Ella an apprasing look, not caring if said girl noticed or not.

Ella thought she saw a Slytherin giving her a look.. wait, she was blonde.. Nate and Carter had described her a bit.. Marilyn?

She was a little intimidated by her, so she didn't feel like approaching her first. She did walk toward her though. Did she send her an invitation for Nate's party? She recalled inviting her.. maybe that's what she could talk about.

"Hey, you're Marilyn, right? Are you coming to Nate's party?" she asked with a smile. Smiiiling, always smiiiling.

"Nice...Mine is grape jelly. Yummy." he said eating another one. He spotted Ella and Marylin but decided to leave them.

"Thats good, any way, so what do you like to do for fun around here, I know my favorite placce is the lake cause it's so calming and peaceful but a close seccond is the flying pitch, I love to hit the open skys on my broom stick and just have a good time. What about you?"

"I like the common room because it is either relaxing of awesome. I like the lake too because there is always somebody there." he said remembering where he met Ella.
