"I have my gorgeous owl, I'm not quite sure where she is, but she's the cutest thing I've ever seen, I wanted to bring my tortoise as well but my mum wouldn't allow it" Bella sighed, "What have you got"
Niamh decided that she could trust her friends, after all a Slytherine wouldn't grass on a fellow Slytherine. "Well my mum gave me money to go get an owl but I got a bit sidetracked and...erm... I kinda ended up with a tarantula" She ended a bit sheepishly. "my mum gave me hell about it, bu I love him, He's called bob!" she said happily, after all, what better name for a huge, furry, fanged arachnid?
Naimh noticed her friend was looking around rather sadly "Are you ok K?" She asked with concern.
Niamh laughed "Good job too, I don't think there are many more sausages left. I wonder why?" she glared in mock accusatory way at Bella. "thanks for the potoes though" she added.
"What can I say? I like my sausages! I like them so much one of my horses at home is called Sausage!" Bella smiled

"I'm in my fourth year. What about you? You look a one or two years older than me."
Helena shrugged as she chuckled again; it really wasn't a huge deal. Italy?? Wow, Lena did love Italy.... but she was trying to be normal so she didn't comment on her own love of the country. That's a big switch, she said lightly before answering her question. I'm in my sixth, but I'll be turning seventeen in a month. She shrugged again.

Hmfph, Ariana was now staring at the letter from hell, what's he going to say, 'oh nothing, it's one my educational letters from my best friend Tobey or oh it's a howler, I'm used to it.' bwaaha, juuussst ignoreee.
"It's a love letter." He said coolly, beating the table like a drum with his index fingers.
His town, how will he explain his practically deserted town? They had just one neighbor, that stoopid cranky stalkarazzi smelly Jarold. Jarold was a 70 something old fart who's crushing on his grandma but of course he wasn't going to tell her this, never. "We have just one neighbor but he's a pain, always stalking and peeking in our house. He once saw me riding my broom in the living room haha." Blake let out a light chuckle and rested his head on the table, he was hungry.
"I got angry and hit him in the eye with a muggle tennis ball, his right eye instantly started to bleed annnd I was grounded for a week." Sigh, he ha a thing for getting in trouble but it's going to change this year, no troubles this time for sure, at least he's being positive.
Helena's blue eyes were doing another scan of the table when they fell upon.... Blake! she called without realizing she had said it out loud for a moment and promptly blushing upon realization of this. Her smile was still wide and her eyes ever bluer, though as she waved at him from down the table.

Damon got up from the Ravenclaw table and walked over to the Slytherin table. "Hello" he said "if i might i would like to talk with one of your fellow classmates here quickly." Damon turned to K and "Hey K i wondered where you were I got way out ahead of you on the train."

"A tarantula? Really? Oh I love arachnids, most people are afraid of them but I just think they're gorgeous! Would you show me him later?" Bella almost squealed with excitement
"Wait. You named him, Bob?" Bella just burst out into laughter, so much tears were streaming down her face "Oh I can tell you and I are going to be great friends Niamh"
"I brought an owl and a raven, my owl is Vella and my raven is Sliver."

Niamh couldn't stop smiling at her, between the sausage obsession and laughing Bella was becoming a really great friend.

Nancy could not refrain from smirking broadly at Kiri as the girl joined in on their conversation, obviously taking her side in the argument. Thank Merlin she was not the only one who thought that this thing was quite ridiculous. And above all rude. "Yeah, what are you going to do in the Common Room? You going to leave the feast early to clean it? You going to bribe some house elves to do it for you? But...they could be sick too."
Another smirk followed her comment before she leaned over Lannes' to retrieve a plate which was covered with sausages for Kiri. "There you go." It was only now that she noticed that she had not yet eaten something. Glancing down the table she looked for something which looked appealing in her eyes.

Alas. But then, Slytherins are known for ambition, not logic." He raised an eyebrow, obviously amused. "Unless collecting them was your ambition?"
"Good evening, Miss Starstalker." he said cordially to the girl sitting next to the boy on the bench. "Perhaps you could assist your little housemate with a cleansing charm."
"Thanks," said Kiri. She piled sausages onto her plate. "Oh, and have you heard," she leaned in for an encore, grinning wickedly, "of Care of Magical Creatures? We'll be out all day... in the cold... looking after beasts that'll take your hand off if you're not careful. That's what I call unhygienic." Of course, Kiri was not particularly fond of the subject herself, but the boy was going to find that out anyway, and she was in no rush to tell him.
She decided it was time to play nice again. Her smirk became a friendly smile. "Anyway, don't worry about it. We'll take care of you. I'm Kiri Starstalker."
Piercing a sausage with her fork, she smiled at Nancy as well for good measure. She'd just taken her first bite when... What was this? Was there a feeling of evil in the atmosphere? Had the air suddenly become cold? Did the sausage taste only half as good as before?
Yes, Professor Kazimeriz, hunched over his cane like an old tree, had joined them at the table. Kiri chewed and swallowed hurriedly, nearly falling off the bench in surprise when the professor addressed her - in what she could only describe a friendly tone of voice!
She blinked. "Oh, er... good evening, Professor," she said, smiling uncertainly and hoping very much that her mouth was empty and that no bits of sausage were clinging to her teeth. "Um, a-a cleansing charm?" she repeated, very much wrong-footed. "Of, er, of course, Professor." Kiri got up and pulled out her wand. "Don't move," she advised the boy and pointed the wand at the bench. "Tergeo!" She moved her arm up and down to clean the entire surface.
"There." She peered at the bench. "It doesn't look any different, I have to say, but you could eat your dinner off of it now. Not that I think you'd want to." She slid into her seat next to Nancy.
Feeling very bold, she turned to the old professor and asked, "Did, er, did you enjoy your holiday, Professor Kazimeriz?"
"A raven? That is so cool!" Niamh said appreciatively "and I know I should get an owl, but Bob was so pretty. Mum said she won't get me an owl to teach me a lesson, so I'm expectiong to get one off of her for Christmas" She finished happily.
"You can use mine if you need to send out anything, that is, if you can ever find her. She's a 'free spirit' as my mum would say" Bella rolled her eyes and grinned.

"I love to ride, I don't enter into any competitions or anything, its just so relaxing when you get the hang of it. I've been riding since I was really young, I've always been taught though, that a person doesn't deserve to ride a horse if she does not take care of the horse. Sausage is gorgeous though, dark brown hair with a streak of gold down her nose" Once again Bella drifted off slightley when talking about her horse, waking up from her reverie she continued "Horses are such magical creatures, they can always sense whether you're sad, happy, afraid, excited!" She sighed happily "Have you ever ridden?"

Hearing a familiar voice which usually, she would have been annoyed to hear, Sylvia swiftly turned around to see Xander sat next to her, smiling at both her and Torin. She was sat inbetween Torin and Xander, two very good looking guys.
She thought it was impossible, but her day got even better.
Sylvia watched as Xander's eyes lingered at her a little longer than Torin. So, he now thought that he could just waltz over here and act like he hadn't been rude to her AT ALL?! ... fair enough. "Hi." She sighed and smiled slightly, and gave up on her dinner. She was never going to finish it. Plus, she didn't want to have food stuffed in her mouth with these two beautiful boys sat either side of her.
"Ummm .. I think you should direct that question more to Torin." Sylvia smirked at the drama question, and glanced at Torin. BWAHAHA.
Xander liked how she paused for a moment before she answered him. His eyes lingered again on her face, and then looked around the rest of the table. There HAD to be something interesting going on that he could comment on or make fun of. Siiigh. But he was with Slytherins, there was something that was bound to happen.
He slid a little closer to Sylvia, making sure it wasn't a huge difference, but just enough.
Raising an eyebrow and looking at Torin, he couldn't help but laugh. "Problems with Reese? Do I need to restrain her? Orrr...?"

Evan entered the castle with all that crowd, and he halted at the entrance, fascinated with it. So this was the magical castle, that was it? He looked at the Great Hall in astonishment, mouth opened a meter. How could the candles fly? And how come it was so big? Was it charmed, or it was that big? All these questions were asked in his mind in a second, right before his mind froze with his glance up to the ceiling. WAS IT OPEN-AIR? He sniffed, trying to smell something natural. But he smelled nothing from the nature outside. And it wasn't cold like outside. Then he got it, it was charmed either. He chuckled to his idiocy, they lived in magic. When someone yelled him to move on, he jumped a bit, looked around as he came back to earth. He smiled to himself and took some steps, stopping to examine every table to see a familiar face. He spotted Rayedem at Ravenclaw table, and then he saw Eva Hufflepuff, although he couldn't see through the crowd, he was sure Andrew and Joshua were somewhere at the Gryffindorks'. At last he spotted Andy Aaron, Iris, Fallonwho immediately sped up his heartbeats, with some weird haired girl... He narrowed his eyes to see better, he hoped to spot Lyra too. But instead, he spotted... [/u]Joshua? What was he doing here? He gasped with a very frightening thought: was he sorted into Slytherin? No way! He couldn't be! He was a dork, he couldn't be soted into Slytherin! Oh no! He felt like fainting or throwing up, but he held himself and approached to the table with confident steps. He gave his back to Joshua as he sat somewhere far away from him, and pretended he didn't see him. He waved to Fallon and smiled, his blue eyes sparkling with excitement and joy. He smiled politely and shyly to Andy Aaron and Iris, waving a little. He sat somewhere close to them, but still they had a few people. If Fallon wanted to talk to him, she could call him.
He turned to the people around him, and to a random person he said "Hey, I'm Evan Cartwright." in a thick Scouse accent, and tucked his blond hair behind his ear impatiently. He smiled politely, and poured down some water, sipping at it. With all fear of Joshua being Slytherin, his throat was dry.

"Oh don't worry, my mums like that too, I must admit, she has reason to be, I am very clumsy and somewhat uncoordinated, but come on, I doubt i'm going to fall out of a tower" Bella huffed

Bella was at first shocked at the display, but soon after getting over that she too was doubled over laughing. Trying to catch her breath she managed to wheeze "Yeah, I'd definately rather babble that do that, although it did look quite fun"
Bursting into another fit of giggles, she noticed the teachers looking their way, pointing it out to Niamh, so gave one last chuckle and asked her "When do we get to go to the common room? I really want to see it!"

Bella nudged her and pointed at the teachers table, a lot of the teachers were glaring at her. With an amazing feet of self control Niamh managed to sober herself enough to answer her friend. "That was really fun, however I don't think I'll do it again! I dunno when we can go to the common room, I spose we'll have to wait for a prefect to go, cos apparently theres passwords and everything. I don't even know where the common room is!" Niamh said with a thoughtfull expression.

Josh hugged her back tightly. He was getting more and more happy as she did it since Josh, because of his nature, understood affection from physical contact ''There are many funny people'' he answered her question ''Now i believe that house thing really. I can see the difference. It's like people who have the best possiblity to get along are gathering together. But that's a general idea. I also saw there were ones that stared at me like i was an alien or something'' he laughed again ''But it definitely feels...'' he glanced around the Slytherin table again and it was the very that moment his eyes found him : Evan. Josh stared at him some 'Slytherin huh! I'm not surprised'and went on his words ''...different here in this greens''. He was planning to shout out at him but also was afraid of the way Rose'd react it. He did not want to be seen as the one who likes to argue or bully others, because he was not. However he was also wondering whether Evan was permanently hostile towards him. 'It will be only a greeting, nothing more' he thought 'That'll be enough to see his attitude'. Deciding on that he shouted out there with his smirk ''Hey Evan! Whatz up?''
"How about my girlfriend and best friend fighting over me," he said as he angrily stabbed at his potatoes with his fork. "I don't get it!" Why were they fighting over him? Brody he got but still.. Reese?
Xander looked over in the general direction of the Hufflepuff table. He saw Brody and Reese having a go at it, or something that looked like it at least. He frowned, and thought about going over there.
Destiny was in shock. She had just been sorted into Slytherin. She was the first person in her family to ever be sorted in Slytherin.
She walked over to the Slytherin table with her head down hoping no one would notice her. 'I can not believe this' she thought to helself and sat down at the table away from everyone else.
Amber saw that a girl had sat a few spaces away from where she sat.
Noticing the girls glumness, she decided to at least know why she was so upset. "Hello," Amber said quietly, wondering if the girl heard her or not, "My name is Amber Le'strang, I am a first year, who are you?"
Amber was trying her best to be polite, she hoped this wouldn't make the girl feel disrespected.

Unfortunately it was right then that her tongue first made contact with the something she had stuffed into her mouth which turned out to be something soft which somehow seemed to expand inside her mouth. Above all, though, it was the most disgusting thing she had ever tasted.
Trying hard not to choke on the thing whose taste seemed to take over every inch of her mouth Nancy ended up more grimacing than smiling at the professor, her eyes slowly starting to water up. She couldn't just spit it out again. How would that look? Although the other option namely swalling did not sound too appealing either. Simply keeping her mouth closed without moving too much Nancy carefully placed a smile onto her face hoping dearly that Professor Kazimeriz would be so annoyed with Jake for his disrespect that he would chase him through the Great Hall. Or somehow just leave the Slytherin Table so she could get rid of the ever growing lump inside her mouth.
Somehow she could not exactly imagine Kazimeriz chasing anybody through the Great Hall. Apart from maybe a Flobberworm or something.
Kazimeriz glanced at the girl as she grimaced at him, raising an eyebrow at her strange expression. He tilted his head and gave her a disdainful nod. Odd girl. He turned his attention back to the first year.

"Very good, Miss Starstalker. Five points to your house for taking care of your housemate. In fact..." he paused, contemplating. "Miss Starstalker and Miss Hudonson, I hereby appoint you as Mr. Bresseieres' personal guides. You will watch over him and see that he is properly integrated into wizarding culture and life at Hogwarts." Kazimeriz spoke pleasantly, but it was clear that this was a command, not a request.

"Professorrrrrrrrr," Jake whined, feeling tempted to tug on the man's sleeve. Meh, maybe that would be a very stupid idea. "Please, sir. This is, like, dead important. I... think," he added, frowning slightly. After he overcame his mild shock of GASP! thinking, Jake bounced on the balls of his feet. "Professooorrrrr Kahhhhhzeeemeriiiiz..."
Ohaii first year.
Kazimeriz sighed. At least he got the name properly, although the wheedling, whining tone left something to be desired. "Yes, Mr. Upstead. What is it?" he said, clearly annoyed.
"Yeah, I heard that there are passwords too, i've heard that it is completely green too" Bella replied "I THINK its in the dungeons, well thats what I've heard, but it seems rather odd for a common room to be in the dungeon don't you think?" she pondered
