Gabby looked up at the girl who spoke to her. She didn' want to sound exotic but she wanted to tell the truth. All over the place she replied. I originally come from Russia, but then my brother moved to Spain to be closer to his work, which is at the British ministry, and I moved with him." Gabby paused, and realised she hadn't introduced herself. I'm Gabriella, by the way, but everyone calls me Gabby. she smiled.

Niamh stared at her new friend in amazement "How many sausages can one person eat?" she asked incredulously as she watched her put piece of sausage after piece of sausage disapear into her mouth. "If you eat any more you'll turn into one!" she said laughing.

Nancy had still been glancing up and down the Slytherin table with a frown plastered across her face in search for the right thing to eat when suddenly - well, actually not suddenly as it took him about a week and a half to approach them - there was Professor Kazimeriz standing next to them. The 15 year old could only nod wisely at Lannes during the professor's explanation, pretending that this was something she had just been about to say. "Exactly. See? It's useless." She finally concluded with a small smirk on her lips, trying to sound intelligent and well, intelligent was actually all she wanted to sound at the moment.

Nudging Kiri next to Nancy gave her a look to hurry up with that Cleansing Charm for the professor before he would get impatient. With a overly cheerful smile on her lips Nancy then reached over to grab some kind of food, anything really, and without even looking at it she started cutting it into pieces. Just look normal.

"You forgot that I'm dating Brody? Your memory must be pretty bad then," he teased. And she had to ask if Brody had witnessed Reese coming onto him. Why? Why? Whyyyy?

"Er, she might have come in when Reese was trying to kiss me on the train. And when she was trying to get me to go to Madame Puddifoots with her." He sighed and wondered for the millionth time what was up with her. "I wish I got it. I really do."

Then Xanderman showed. "You do not want to know," he said shaking his head and returning his attention back to his food.

"Wow, Gabby. That sounds amazing! Bit of a weather change though, from snowy to sunny to rainy." Niamh siad smiling, then as an afterthought, "I'm Niamh, and this is Bella" She said gesturing to the girl next to her.

Tell me about it! Gabby said, smiling. She turns to the girl next to Niamh, Bella. Nice to meet you Bella.

Lannes examined the sausage with great interest. It was rather oily, and it's actual identification seemed unknown.
"Who knows what factory leftovers went into that."
He looked around the table. Everyone seemed rather nice, though a few believed him to be rather odd. Regardless, he liked his new classmates, and was glad about the house he was placed in.

Lannes then decided against the sausage and sat in silence, content to watch others and make mental notes of their behavior.

K who was listening to everyone for she was just so happy to be with her house she saw a girl she just met not to long ago, "Hi Niamh how are you are you excited to be here."

Niamh cast around for a new topic of convastion and decided on the obvious one of school "You looking forward to school? My mum wouldn't let my try any magic, she said I wasn't allowed to" Niamh paused a moment to frown, then continued "So I can't wait for lessons to begin, they're going to be really interesting. Although I'm not looking forward to the homework though. Sorry if I'm talking to much, I'm just quite talkative." Niamh finished, took a deep breath then a gulp of pumpkin juice.
Could you pass those potatoes please Bella? she asked

Niamh grinned as she saw her friend from the train "Hey K, I'm great thanks and I am so utterly excited it is unbelievable!!!! What about you? I see you didn't fall in the lake, so thats a good omen!" She answered, asked and stated.
She then decided to introduce K to her other new friends, the more people everyone knew the better. "This is Bella" She gestured to her right "and Gabby" she pointed to the girl on the other side "Girls this is K, we met on the train" Wow this day was going great!

"Course I am!" he said smiling sitting down next to Fallon. He leaned on the table in order to see Mystic still with his hand up for Fallon to high five him. e turned to her. "C'mon, you know you want tooooooo."

He laughed and saw another friend walk into the great hall.

"Hey, girl, heeeey." Aaron said in a feminine voice. He held up the hand that mystic just high fived and held it up for Iris. "High five for the second ter," he said excited in his normal voice. Second term. ALRIGHT!!! Not going to fail Charms. Going to make the Quidditch team. Gonna work harder on potions. Quidditch! Defense against the Dark Arts is going to be awesome. AND QUIDDITCH! IF I GET THE TEAM I AM GOING TO BE SO HAPPY. THAT'S THE IMPORANT THING.

Um, aren't you forgetting-

I'll be the STAR of the team. not that everyoen else is awesome.

He looked at all the food. O.o What would he have first???

"Perhaps you could assist your housemate, instead, Miss Hudonson, since you see the futility of his efforts as well." Kazimeriz said idly, still amused.

Amused, that is, until a certain pink-haired Hufflepuff approached. His lip curled up in an expression of distate as the boy spoke to him.

Kazimeriz looked disdainfully at the boy in the oversized clothes. "It is appropriate to address your superiors by their full name and title, Mr. Upstead. It is a display of respect." he said coolly, giving him an expectant glare.

"Yeah that was a great thing I didn't fall in the lake...I'm extremly excited to be here though." k then turned to the other girls Bella and Gabby..."Hi nice to meet you I'm Kaplinski but you can call me K."

Looking behind himself quickly, to see if there was someone or something that deserve to be hated, Jake saw nothing and frowned it confusion. Why did Kazi's face suddenly appeared all *LEMON* and whatnot.

"Oh, right," the boy replied, turning back to the man. "Okay." He'd have to remember that. "You busy?" Jake repeated, looking back up at the taallllll man, wearing a curious expression.

Lannes wheeled around and saw a man standing over him. He appeared to the professor.
"My apologies, sir, I've lived as a muggle all my life and am not well educated in magic. Perhaps with time I'll catch on." Lannes replied.

Lannes didn't know what to think of the man. Despite the Professor's rebuke of his ways, Lannes found the man quiet intriguing. Along with learning magic, with time he'd probably know him a bit more.

At first he hesitated it since he was a first year and was not sure about how things were going on in this school, though his mum told abut it a little. Well, she told a little and she was a bookworm Ravenclaw, which meant that she might have not faced a situation like this. Despite that, whatever the situation is, Josh got angry with himself for hesitating. It was not his character and he had to recover his character back. It did not take much time though and he left the Gryffindor table, stepping towards the Slytherin one rather confidently. He was lucky to spor Rose among the other snakes. Ignoring the glares that other would cast him, he walked to his friend and put a hand on her shoulder ''Hey Rose! Whatz up?'' he asked with his usual cheerful smile.

K looked up she thought she just saw her boyfriend Damon but it was not him hmmm I wonder if we are still ment to be if he has not come to see me yet. I do hope he comes she thought.

Kazimeriz raised an eyebrow and said nothing to Upstead. He knew the Hufflepuff boy was slow on the uptake, but really... Being a patient man, he would turn his attention to others until Upstead took a draught of Clue Concoction and addressed him properly.

Kazimeriz's expression thawed considerably as the young firstie spoke. "It is understandable that you would be experiencing some mild culture shock. You will learn. Welcome to Hogwarts. I am Deputy Headmaster Kazimeriz. I am also the potions master of this school. What is your name, child?" Niceties must be observed, after all.

"I love them!" Bella replied "In my book one can never eat too many sausages" she giggled

Bella had not noticed the new people who surrounded her as she was too busy eating her sausages. When her name was said however, she quickly took notice and passed Niamh the potatoes she wanted.

With a mouth full of sausage Bella said "Sowwy, ih wash too intershtedh in my fooduh"
Realising she had spoke no sense at all she quickly translated "Sorry, I was too interested in my food, I'm good now though, I don't think my stomach can take anymore"

"What animal did you bring? If any" Niamh asked, she was curious as to what pets the others brought, she herself had brought a tarrantula, but wasn't ure if she was actually aloud it. She was wondering whether or not to tell her friends.

Nancy naturally jammed her fork into whatever she had just cut before quickly stuffing the something into her mouth, trying to look as natural and not-nervous as possible. Chewing the 15 year old turned her head slightly to be able to face Kazimeriz again as she started to smile at him warmly while nodding in understanding. Unfortunately it was right then that her tongue first made contact with the something she had stuffed into her mouth which turned out to be something soft which somehow seemed to expand inside her mouth. Above all, though, it was the most disgusting thing she had ever tasted.

Trying hard not to choke on the thing whose taste seemed to take over every inch of her mouth Nancy ended up more grimacing than smiling at the professor, her eyes slowly starting to water up. She couldn't just spit it out again. How would that look? Although the other option namely swalling did not sound too appealing either. Simply keeping her mouth closed without moving too much Nancy carefully placed a smile onto her face hoping dearly that Professor Kazimeriz would be so annoyed with Jake for his disrespect that he would chase him through the Great Hall. Or somehow just leave the Slytherin Table so she could get rid of the ever growing lump inside her mouth.

Somehow she could not exactly imagine Kazimeriz chasing anybody through the Great Hall. Apart from maybe a Flobberworm or something.

Well that was rude!

"Professorrrrrrrrr," Jake whined, feeling tempted to tug on the man's sleeve. Meh, maybe that would be a very stupid idea. "Please, sir. This is, like, dead important. I... think," he added, frowning slightly. After he overcame his mild shock of GASP! thinking, Jake bounced on the balls of his feet. "Professooorrrrr Kahhhhhzeeemeriiiiz..."

Ohaii first year.

Lannes than responded in a more relaxed tone, his true French accent almost came in.
"I'm Lannes Bresseieres, and I'm quite glad that I'll be learning under you."
He then paused for a moment, pondering if he should go further,
"If I may be so bold, sir, where are you from?"

Naimh noticed her friend was looking around rather sadly "Are you ok K?" She asked with concern.

Niamh laughed "Good job too, I don't think there are many more sausages left. I wonder why?" she glared in mock accusatory way at Bella. "thanks for the potoes though" she added.

"I have my gorgeous owl, I'm not quite sure where she is, but she's the cutest thing I've ever seen, I wanted to bring my tortoise as well but my mum wouldn't allow it" Bella sighed, "What have you got"

Evelyn was just about to grab her goblet when something touched her shoulder, making her jump out of her skin and knock over her drink. Grabbing the one napkin she had, she tried cleaning up the spill as fast as she could, then turned around and glared at whoever or whatever it was that touched her. Realizing it was Josh, she calmed down. "You have a knack for making me have heart attacks don't you." she said with a slight frown. Scooting a little to the right, she patted the seat next to her for Josh to sit down.
