"I suppose it is.. I can end this before I become too attached." Raven muttered while her face was still on the table, that was quite uncomfortable but she didn't really care at the moment. Nothing seemed to matter to her anymore, except pranks.. she'd have her vengance on this school before she left.

"Yeah. End it and finish what you started." he said, leaning his head on the table just as she did. "But... then again..."

"Then again what? Do you have something else to tell me about this?" She asked curiously then moved her head from the table and rested it on her hands for the moment, at least that was more comfortable than practically doing a faceplant on the wood table.

He sat up once more, resting his chin in his palm, "But then again you could just... not worry about it." he said passively, taking apart the rest of his muffin. "I mean, come on- what's there to really worry about here? If you honestly like this freak then keep doin' what you're doin'. This boyfriend of yours obviously doesn't mean that much to you if you're falling for some guy you used to despise." he shrugged, "I don't know about you, but all of this doesn't seem like something to worry your pretty little head about. You're better then this." and with the last words he took the final bite of his muffin.

"I suppose you're right, I don't want to get too close to him though since I'm leaving at the end of the term. Besides, if I was truly wanting to be with someone.. I'd be with a member of my own house.. Slytherins must stick together after all." Raven said with a slight smirk then shrugged slightly and picked at the muffin she was holding.

"Ah- beautifully said." he replied with a slight smirk of his own, dropping the paper muffin cup onto the table which disappeared almost instantly.

"I'm sure I can find a Slytherin guy who might be interested in handling a troublemaker." She said with a slight smirk then ate the muffin and poured herself some pumpkin juice, immediately regaining her appetite which had been quite off lately.

Once again, Raiden trailed along behind Kiri and Cela, not even bothering to have his arm raised just in case something went wrong. They'd already proved they could handle the giant tree magnificently, after all. Watching as Cela secured the gigantic thing, he thought back to when he'd been home to decorate with his family. Was there a proper way of decorating? Or did one just go about it as they pleased? His family had never had an order or specific placement. He'd been allowed to put whatever he wanted on the tree, wherever he wanted it. Ornaments, tinsel, various other little trinkets...

"I don't think there's a proper set 'way' to do it, Cela. You just... do what you think looks nice."

He cast a glance over at two Slytherins sitting at the table talking nearby. Already the whole 'prefect' thing had him extra aware of the students around him. It was probably a good thing, however. Over the summer, his attention span had suffered greatly. Even when the term had started, he hadn't noticed when people were talking to him quite a few times. It was irksome, but this seemed to cure him of it.

"I wonder if they're going to have faerie lights on the trees," he mumbled absently, his fingers brushing over the needles on the branch nearest him.

With a satisfactorily heavy clunking sound, the pot came to rest next to the Slytherin table. Kiri lowered her wand and stepped back to examine Celandine's and her handiwork. Crucially, this did not involve the tree falling over and crushing everyone standing nearby. It looked... good! Whether by accident or design, they had picked a healthy-looking tree with an abundance of dark green needles that worked very nicely with the colour of the Great Hall. And it would look even better once they had decorated it.

After wandering around the large pot once to make sure the tree was planted securely, Kiri, feeling very pleased with herself, joined Celandine and Raiden who were discussing Christmas tree decorations. "Yes, like Raiden said," she said, peering up at the tree. "Whatever looks nice." She wondered silently why servants were tasked with decorating the tree in Celandine's home (not to mention the very fact that she had servants) - Kiri had always enjoyed helping her parents. They were not really... tactile people, usually, but the Christmas tree seemed to be a different matter.

"Here. For example." She flourished her wand and summoned a length of silver tinsel from the big crate of decorations. "Just... wrap it... around the tree..." she explained, moving her wand around in circles. Above her, looking like a glittery eel - or, maybe more appropriately, a snake - the tinsel came to rest on the tree's green needles.

He returned the smirk with a soft chuckle, grabbing for a goblet of pumpkin juice for himself. "Oh I think I know of a few guys." he said with a nod.

Warren smiled back at Tammy. ''Tammmyyyy'' he screeched. He carried on eating. Man was that boy hungry!

"Hi, Iris." Tammy grinned, that was a purrrrttyyy NAYMEEEE.


"WARRRENNNNNN." Tammy grinned.

Warren decided he ate enough and pushed the plate aside. He got up and sat on the table facing forwards, he was going to turn to face Tammy and Torin but decided that it would be rude, seeing as though Iris was sitting on the other side as him. ''Tammy about the other day..'' Warren wasn't the kind of lad to apologize, quite frankly he never said he was sorry. ''Im sorry for acting like a prat..'' he smiled.

Iris smiled back at Tammy, then looked down at her plate and realised that she'd finished her sandwhich. Maybe she could go find Satine? ... That girl didn't seem right just now. Iris looked at Warren and Tammy and the other boy. "Um... I'm going now, I need to go find some one ... See you later." She said with a poilte smile. She got up and quickly scanned the Ravenclaw Table for Satine. No purple... Well... No red, rather. She walked out of the hall and decided that she'd be in her Common Room. Yay. Camp out on the 7th floor til she comes out.

Tammy nodded almost instantly, something to do instead of crying. "I'm sorry more. I shouldn't have been so insensitive.." She whimpered, and went back to eating her toast.

PREOCCUPICATIONNN.

Waz's smile got bigger. ''Woo'' He turned around at Iris and waved. ''Bye Iris, nice to meet you!'' He turnt to face Torin and Tammy. ''That picture i lost.. its in Torins pocket? i must of dropped it'' Warren picked the picture up from Torins pocket, he put it inside his own pocket.

Torin kept eating as Tammy and Warren talked and started sorting out their problem. He was impressed with Tammy and Warren for apologizing to each other like that.

Then he heard Warren mention something about him having a photo in his pocket. "What? I don't have any pictures in my pocket?" He was confused now.

"Oh you do huh?" She asked curiously then took a sip of her pumpkin juice and fiddled with the ring on her finger. Things were becoming more interesting lately, maybe things would be better.

Waz laughed. ''Yeah you do'' he pulled it out of Torins pocket and showed him it. ''Look see, its my brother, i must of dropped it by accident.'' Warren chuckled. And put it away. He was still sat on the table, he couldnt be asked to move, he was comfortable.

Marie walked into the great hall with Kay but ended up sitting by herself when Kay went to sit with Lorcan at the Hufflepuff table. Marie wasn't hungry at all since she ate while she was in Hogsmeade. She only came to the great hall to watch the Christmas trees get decorated.
She was looking around at all the trees and decorations when something behind the staff table caught her eye. Slytherin was ahead in house points! It wasn't much of a lead but it was a lead and that was all she cared about. Looking at all the shiny green stones an idea came to her. 'I think I will take a picture of the hourglass since we are ahead' she thought. She took out her camera and took the picture of the hourglass and the house points showing that they were in the lead. Putting the camera down she had a smile on her face, she was happy to be in a house that was doing this good.

"...Faerie lights?" Celandine asked peeking at the tree in wonderment. What were faerie lights? Did you put a faerie in a lantern and light it on fire? "At home, the servants put little glow worms in coloured glass."

Cela stared at Kiri for a minute, then watched her wrap the tinsel around the tree.

"...Slytherin colours?" She guessed, eyeing the decoration box a bit nervously.

"Well yeah... there has to be at least 20 eligible Slytherin males here to choose from." he said nonchalantly, shrugging a bit. "Although they're all zit-faced, dumb jocks, or mass lovers..." he smirked a bit, running a finger around the edges of his goblet. "Except a few." he added with another shrug, grabbing the goblet and taking a drink from it.

"Well, I'm not into jocks honestly. So that's completely out of the question." She said with a slight roll of her eyes as she took a sip of her pumpkin juice, honestly that was the problem with most Slytherin guys, they weren't smart nor very fun for that matter.

He let out a short laugh, "It's good to know that some girls aren't into those prats." he smiled a bit before pushing his goblet aside to grab for one of the tarts that just appeared in a bowl a few feet away from them.

"Only fools like those type of guys, and I'm not a fool actually." Raven said then smirked slightly and brushed the brown hair from her face, it seemed as though she needed to tie her hair back rather than just let it hang down and just get in her way.
