Nicoletta sat down at the table. She was nearly starved! She piled food onto her plate as fast as she coulld without spilling it everywhere. She ate and decided to head out to the grounds.

Sylvia smiled slightly. "Ok, sure." She wasn't usually this nice, but she wanted Torin to be his happy self again. She didn't want Brody yelling at her for making her boyfriend all depressed.

That would be the second time Brody would shout at her.

"Promise you'll lighten up." She snickered, as she walked further away, but then stopped and waited for him. "Brody won't like it if I'm the reason you're gloomy."

"Well, ever since Brody yelled at me, that day at the courtyard, I've been ..." Sylvia didn't know how to word it without sounding like she was making a big deal out of nothing. But to her, it was a big deal. You're best friend shouting at you for something so miniscule really go to her.

Since she was the one who was getting shouted at.

".. cautious. She's never yelled at me like that before. I want to know why she's got so snappy all of a sudden." Sylvia wondered if it's because she hadn't seen her in so long. You wouldn't think they were best friends if you were an outsider.

Iris walked into the Great hall holding her camera. She stopped short of the end of the slytherin table and looked around at all the students sat there. She smiled at an idea as she raised her camera. A photo of the Slytherins eating breakfast on a freezing cold december day ... pretty ingenious if you asked me. Iris held the camera up and steadied it, centering the focus. Perfect. She thought as she pocketed the camera and an apple, before turning and walking outside ... maybe to the pumpkin patch ... that place had a lot of significance right now...

Laken had bundled herself up in a light blue knitted turtleneck sweater that her mother had sent to her just the previous week. Even with her sweater, heavy jeans, trainers and her thick winter cloak she was still shivering; and she had yet to step foot outside yet.

Laken let a small smile slip onto her face as she sat down at the Slytherin table. She immediately went for the closet warm food she could reach.

Destiny made her way to the Slytherin table still covered in dust from the days Transfiguration class. If she didn't want pie so bad she would have changed before coming to the Great Hall. 'By the time I would have changed, the pie would be gone.' Destiny thought looking around the Hall. Spotting the first empty seat, with the most pie in front of it, she sat down making a puff of dust fly everywhere. Grabbing a plate and putting two pieces of pie on it Destiny started eating like this would be her last meal ever.

'Crud.. Walked right into that one!' It seemed the professor was going to get a lot of embarrassing pictures of her. Oh well, she shrugged her shoulders and turned to the girl with the camera and gave her a thumbs up.

Evan walked into the Great Hall, while his stomach growled for the fifth time on the way from the Pathway. He glanced at Lyra and smiled, happy to have her company him. It could be Joshua who wanted to come too, or that weird Kevin. But to his perfect luck, it was Lyra, and he just loved it.

He sat next to some firsties and poured him a big glass of water, drinking it all. He then looked at the meal and smiled again, the house elves knew their job! He quickly took some pasta, and began eating, forgetting completely to wait for Lyra. Aw. His first rudeness towards her, if you didn't count the Fallon incident.

She tried to reach the pumpkin juice but it was out of reach for her. An idea came up in her mind and she pulled her sleeve up to grab her wand out of her lovely holster. She pointed it at the can and whispered "Wingardium Leviosa" the can filled with pumpkin juice lifted up in the air by her magic and she levitated it carefully towards her. The moment it was in arm reach , Lyra grabbed the handle and flicked her wand sharply so to end the charm. She poured in some juice with a very satisfied smile and then placed a slice of pizza on her plate and began eating.

Evan could only nodd as his mouth was full. He stuffed some more pasta into his mouth while Lyra too sat down. He knew it looked so bad and rude from outside, but he wanted to finish the dinner fast so that they would still have time to talk in the Common Room or somewhere. He once again noticed that he was spending more time with Lyra than with Fallon, and that Lyra cared about him more than Fallon did. He felt guilty, but what could he do? Fallon was with her crazy and mad friends who hexed him, or at least insulted him, and Lyra hanged out with pretty cool people.

He saw that she was using her mind instead of calling for help, and thought that was something worthy to take photo of. He had taken only stalking photos, and now he'd also photograph the wisdom. He quickly reached for his camera and took the photo of the scene just at the time when Lyra was still levitating it while her other hand was reaching out to grab. Proof that the Snakes are just as wise as the Claws.

"The last time I saw him was when I rummaged underneath my bed for a book. I think he got too cold in the dungeons." Laken told Destiny.

"Goo usually comes back in a day, but he hasn't this time." Laken paused.

"Oh don't worry!" Laken exclaimed, "Goo is really nice, he's not venomous. And he gets along with my cat Wild really good. He's never bitten anyone before." Laken explained.

Evan smiled her back happily, glad that he wasn't hexed this time while taking photo. He finally swallowed the huge pasta in his mouth, and was glad that she hadn't taken the photo of him as well, that would just erase his "pretty boy" reputation. Now that some food had reached to his stomach which happily accepted it, he took some smaller forks of pasta, and ate like a gentleman. He chuckled at the idea, it was funny that how he was so polite around Fallon and Lyra, while he was such a rude spoilt kid around the others. He heard Lyra ask something, and looked her in the eye to depart his attention from the snake talk from the nearby girls.

He chuckled naugtily at her question before answering. "I was so bored with the Hufflepuffs and their "know-it-all" firsties that I wanted to get out. I was very hungry, so it wasn't hard to vomit." He grinned evilly, but then felt the urge to defend himself. You weren't in the group Lyra, they were soo arrogant and stuff. And you saw, they didn't even care, and one girl even called me 'liar'." He made a shocked face as if he never lied in his life. He wasn't any politer than them, truth to be told, but still he was better and a few privilege people could treat him rudely. Hmpf.

K came down and sat at the Slytherin table for some dinner. It had been a really long day for her and she was getting quite hungry. She sat and watched the other students having conversations and all that. She didn't know if she knew many of them other than classes and such. She was getting ready though for the holidays that were coming up in the next few months she loved the holiday season very much so. She was also excited for the frist Quidditch match in November. Ah well it was time for her to eat so she did waiting to see what may go on next.
