Lord Borr had been SO BUSY ALL DAY LONG! His day job never ended. Never. Always something to do, someone to mentor, a LIFE TO CHANGE! Today, he would be changing and molding the young minds of Hogwarts.
His classroom had been abused by slow Ethan, but no more! TODAY THIS ROOM WOULD ABSORB KNOWLEDGE LIKE IT HAD NOT SINCE THE LAST TIME LORD BORR HAD GRACED IT.
He knew he'd have to start with the basics. A good foundation. THE VERY BEGINNING. Hopefully there would be NO NEED to diaper the students of Hogwarts again. Even though he was not BELOW (he wasn't below ANYONE, ACTUALLY) such discipline in order to ENSURE ORDER. Lord Borr opened all the windows and let the sun SHINE into his classroom. His domain. His castle.
"HURRY UP STUDENTS! I DON'T HAVE ALL DAY!!! AND YOU NEED EVERY SECOND YOU CAN GET WITH ME! COME IN. SIT DOWN. DON'T EMBARRASS YOURSELF." Lord Borr beat the door frame with his cane as he spoke each word clearly, decisively, and with ample amount of saliva spray.
Knowing never to show fear or weakness in the face of a challenge, Patroclus rose,he gave a slight tilt of the head, "Patroclus Julius Hudson. It is a my ambition in this class Lord Borr (another nod of the head), to understand the fine art that is Astronomy, as for life I intend on, allowing it to reveal its self to me first, before deciding on a future that my be un-wise."
Hoping that his statement would be deemed sufficient, he remained standing until asked to be seated by Lord Borr.
There was one thing Sabrina Evanstar had always been absolutely certain about since pretty much her first year at Hogwarts - all, and she did mean ALL, boys at Hogwarts were absolutely I N S A N E. Really, it was as clear as water to her, but she had always respected and admired her teachers (well, most of the time).
But OHMYGOD THIS GUY WAS A LUNATIC!
This man ... Lord Borr, seemed like a total nutcase. Seemed? Pffffft. He WAS a nutcase. Why, one might ask? Well, one, he was yelling at them as though they were deaf AND for no reason. Two, he THREW them out of the classroom and then told them to come in just to greet him properly, which, to be perfectly honest, Sabrina thought everyone had done rather well in the first place. Three, he had been absolutely HORRIBLE to Willow. HORRIBLE. And Willow was her friend. Sabrina did NOT like it. Four, he OBVIOUSLY believed he was the greatest human being on the planet just because he was Lord Borr, which, frankly speaking, he wasn't. The greatest human being on the planet, she meant.
And now he wanted them all to stand up, BOW, and then name themselves and their ambition.
Following her classmates’ lead, the blonde stood up and introduced herself, bowing her head so slightly that it almost seemed like a nod. ALMOST. “I am Sabrina Evanstar.” My Lord. Snort. She had deliberately emphasised her surname and she felt complacent that she was an Evanstar. Lord Borr’s attitude was turning her into a little bit of a snob.
Evanstar.
Her father was one of the richest wizards in England, not only in the magical world, but in the muggle world too. A large business tycoon who owned a large publishing company in both the communities. If Lord Borr read books, he would have heard of him.
“I will be taking over the family business after completing my education.” Nevermind the fact that she hadn't actually decided that she would. She was going to inherit her late mother's business upon turning twenty one, which she felt was too soon. Her father was perfect at running a large organisation, so he was handling both his own and her mother's.
It was important to her of course, as she had been told it had been to her mother and she wanted to uphold the family tradition, but she wasn't sure if being a business tycoon was her.
She wanted something more. Like being a Healer or an Arithmancer. Or just having a proper job.
That was why she had never actually spoken about this to any of her friends. Including Samson.
... with a sigh, Sabrina sat back on her chair, suddenly feeling more than a little silly.

Chris stood up as he was instructed and bowed to Lord Borr. "I am Chris Potter and my ambition after I leave Hogwarts will to become a teacher. Hopefully I will be able to teacher here one day." he finished.
Raiden froze in complete horror as the gigantic professor went on a rampage, shouting at Dominic Denton and going after Miss Willow as well. That... wasn't very nice.
The feeling that he wasn't going to enjoy Astronomy very much at all this term was swiftly creeping up on him. Still, when his turn came about, Raiden stood properly, back straight and all that happy stuff.
"My name, sir, is Raiden Jae Kururugi," he said flatly, inclining his head but doing nothing more than that. He was a professor, and deserved respect for that at least, but his overt disrespect of Miss Willow was completely unbecoming behaviour and one didn't get what they wanted simply by acting like a child. "My ambition in life is-"
What was his ambition, now?
"- to never have a negative impact on anyone I meet."
Better than nothing, he hoped. Past that, he'd never thought of what he'd want to do after Hogwarts. He'd never seen himself making it that far.
Ok. Your turn now. Just do as the man says and maybe we can escape this lesson unscathed. Camden stood up quickly. He bowed with great flourish, then stood again properly. Looking Borr straight in the eye, Camden said, "My name is Camden Ashcroft. My ambition during my years at Hogwarts is to achieve top marks in my classes so that when I leave here, I can get a job working for the Ministry of Magic. Department of International Magical Cooperation preferably, sir."
Hell No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bow to him, not in this lifetime. But all he said was bow so mabe she could get away bowing just her head, probably not. When her turn came she just scowled under her breath at the man as she bowed This new Astronomy professor was annoying her big time. She rose again and said in the most respectful way she could muster under the circumstances, "My name is Herminny Telerino and my ambition is to gain a job where caring for and respecting everyone and everything is top prioriorty.".
Man, he was...well, mad! Little Ellie was rather frightened of this Lord Borr. Maybe she shouldn't have come to this class. Shaking like a leaf, she stood up and bowed. "My name is Ellie Lovegood and my ambition is to be....an artist, or a teacher."
Cedric frowned at their new astronomy teacher. He's a little bit irked. He's irked that that professor is asking him to bow at him. Woah! That's unbelievable. Didn't Lord Borr knows that Cedric is a prince? Of course, He didn't cause Cedric's been hiding his true identity since his first year at Hogwarts. He shook his head, he dunno if he could do this task. He stepped forward then gently and slowly, He bowed his head to the slightest. "I'm Cedric Nicholas Leone, a pr-pri-nc" Ooh. He nearly revealed his secret. He managed to cover it up, at least. "My ambtion is to be a great r-rule..umm, to be a great Auror or maybe to be a Hogwarts professor someday."
Sebastian Whitcomb was awfully surprised. Never did he think he would find someone like Lord Borr in this lame castle people called school. But Lord Borr was there to save the day, it appeared. Pity the other students didn't seem to want to take advantage of the Lord's presence. Sebastian, on the other hand, was ready to learn everything he could with Lord Borr. He could not be the most perfect Lord, and be obnoxious loud and stink a little, but at least he was a Lord!
Sebastian wondered if Lord Whitcomb had known Lord Borr would be at Hogwarts when he forced Sebastian and Woodson to attend the school.
With that thought in mind, and making a point of discussing it with Woodson as soon as he could, Sebastian stood up and offered the man a polite, perfectly done bow. "My name is Sebastian Whitcomb, Lord Borr." The fifteen year old boy said, voice low and unaffected. "My greatest ambition is to .."rule the world".. be the best man I can possibly be, and struggle to keep my family's high reputation and wealth."
"ONE AT A TIME, I want you to STAND UP. BOW TO ME. Introduce yourself. Then tell me what it is you wish to be when YOU GROW UP. Assuming you EVER do." Lord Borr was SO TIRED. He was WORKING SO HARD to HELP these STUDENTS. SOOOOOOO HARRRRRRRRRD. He moved into his chair at the front of the desk and sat down, causing something similar to a weak earthquake in the classroom.
"GO ON. I dont HAVE ALL DAY. 1. STAND UP. 2. BOW. 3. NAME YOURSELF. 4. YOUR AMBITION. GO GO GO GO."
Rayedem had to admit, before this class, he thought the wizarding world would be warm and welcoming. He wasn't exactly intimidated, but he was terrified. This guy is really the boss, he thought. The only one who had been that way to him was his father, really. No one else had ever shouted at him like that. So this is what the world really feels like. Gathering his courage, Rayedem stood up and walked towards the professor. He gave a low, Japanese style bow. Looking up, eye to eye with the professor, trying his best not to look away, he said,
"My name is Rayedem Roumimper, sir." he began, in the same tone as the one he uses against his father; respectful and obedient, "My ambition is--"what? He realized he knew nothing about wizarding career. He disguised his momentary absence of words as dry coughs--he turned his head, covered his mouth and coughed as he was thinking. The coughs felt hurt on his throat, but he forced them nonetheless, "to become an Auror, sir. Because I think the DADA class suits me." he ended finally, hoping that he remembered about the profession correctly.

Mikaela's eyes widened with horror as she realized it was her turn. She quickly stood up and bowed quickly, not quite sure what to make of the teacher.
"My name is Mikaela Cauldwell, and my ambition after I leave Hogwarts is to... To make the world a bit more fair to everyone," She blushed as she realized how gooey it sounded and quickly sat down, trying to hide her face as well as possible.

Oh God. Oh Merlin. Evan now got Lyra's point of view to this Lord. He was scary. He was arrogant. He wanted to kill them. And yet, he called himself a teacher. No teacher was like him, so he couldn't be classified as a teacher, he was something else. And doing his Astronomy class in midday, away from the towers showed he knew nothing about teaching.
He winced when Lyra didn't bow. He'd surely realise such a big disrespectful manner, as he heard even the lowest whispers. He wanted to warn her, but he was scared! And she was away from him. Awesome. He just couldn't let her be humiliated! But he couldn't find a way to save her. More awesome.
He was carried away with his thoughts, and he realised exactly 15 seconds late that it was his turn. He quickly got up in horror, and opened his mouth. Then he remembered to bow, and he bowed only with his head shortly. Lifting his head, he said "I'm Evan Cartwright." What was his ambition?! His mind had frozen! His short-term ambition was to run, and his brain was focusing on that. After some seconds of blushing, he finally managed to say "A-and I-I want to be an unspeakable in ministry." Duh, where else could he be? He hoped this Lord would not notice those extra two words... A weak hope. He then hesitated about sitting down again. He did not say to sit back, but he couldn't keep them up all day long, right? Evan finally sat down, and didn't look up to the guy. He again wished he could vanish. Now if this Lord was too careful to notice him, he'd probably be in the ones to be punished, along with Lyra.
It was her turn. Jecca whispered to herself, " Relax Jecca, Relax...." though she was startung to know the Professor's Attitude. She standed up straight, took a bow and started to talk... "I'm Jecca Camacho, My ambition is to be a good teacher here in Hogwarts, I guess..?? Jecca knew nothing 'bout what's her ambition in related to a wizarding career.... Then, after a while she sat down.

When Varius had entered the classroom minutes before the lesson truly had begun (), he was unsure what to expect since the new teacher hadn't been present at the feast. The fact that Astronomy was now on the first floor was intriguing and Varius wondered what it was this man (or woman) had in store for them. Hopefully something other than some space shuttle somewhere in space where people had to poo whilst floating! Boooooringgggg.
However, the rather round man seemed very uptight about his manners and respect, as any gentlemen should! There was too many yobs walking about these Hogwarts halls! Defacing the Whomping Willow with spray paint charms and rapping with their trousers below their butt cheeks! I mean, seriously, pronounce your t's YOBBYPEOPLE!
So, when Lord Berty Borr requested his proper introduction, Varius had been more than happy to oblige, snickering slightly when he continued to call people out on their DISrespectfulness and pig-like qualities. This was going to be fun!
Their next set of instructions were given out and Varius listened as his classmates started rising and talking and yada yada yada. Then it got to his turn and he raised himself from his chair, bowing toward the round man and introducing himself, "Varius Numerus Tipps, sir. And when I grow up I hope to be a journalist."
Sara was terrified. Weren't professors supposed to be nice and friendly to their students. Realizing it was her turn... Sara snapped to attention and stood up...
"Sir," Sara said, with a quivering voice, "my name is Sara Lyons, and my greatest ambition is to finish Hogwarts in seven years and go on to become a journalist."
"GO ON. I dont HAVE ALL DAY. 1. STAND UP. 2. BOW. 3. NAME YOURSELF. 4. YOUR AMBITION. GO GO GO GO."
Tavelon suddenly remembered where he had seen this man before- Diagon Alley.
Who could forget such a walrus of a figure? He was in Scribbilus' inks... and hadn't he been berating... Professor Truebridge? Was that why they switched classrooms... or what had Professor Truebridge said about that?...
In fact, Professor... or 'Lord' Borr as he preferred to be called, was quite a legend. Come to think of it, Tavelon had heard about him before.... and what he had heard wasn't necessarily the best.
Tavelon suddenly snapped back to reality when he realized everyone was standing up and presenting themselves. Collecting himself, Tavelon resolved to make his best impression on this man, even if it was a false one. He didn't seem like a good person to cross.
Standing up, he bowed to Professor... rather, Lord, Borr, and spoke: "Lord Borr, I am Tavelon Martimus" he squeaked out the last part of that. "I'm a first year, but I still have ambition. That is to...." He really hadn't thought of what he wanted to do... "I want to be a great and influential man, like yourself, sir, Lord..."
Awkwardly, Tavelon sat down... hoping for the best.

Lord Borr?
Now, that was a scary name. Scary name. Scary LARGE man. It had taken Tammy a small while to realise this was the obvious non-dieter that had been in Scribbulus when she and Dominic were in there. He was a mean man. MEANIE!
Fake smiling, Tammy looked around quickly and noticed while she had been dawdling in thinking of words to call this horrible old fat man, it had became her turn to stand up. BOW to his 'lordship'. And introduce herself and what she wanted to do with her future.
Because she had REEEEALLLY thought about that yes? NO. She hadn't and she wasn't planning on it either. Because that brought graduating earlier.
MEH.
0_0
She was expected to do it.
So, reluctantly she did.
Standing up quickly Tammy gave another fake smile in his direction, bent her back so she was in a bowing position. Then raised herself back up, rather mechanically.
TORTURE.
Physical and MENTAL.
Torture.
"Tammy Wood, " EH. Maaake it up.
MAAAAKEE IT UPP! "And after graduating I would like to do something that keeps me happy. As to what that is yet, I haven't figured it out." AAAND, That was ovahh. Resuming her seat, Tammy sat down and avoided looking at him.
"ONE AT A TIME, I want you to STAND UP. BOW TO ME. Introduce yourself. Then tell me what it is you wish to be when YOU GROW UP. Assuming you EVER do." Lord Borr was SO TIRED. "GO ON. I dont HAVE ALL DAY. 1. STAND UP. 2. BOW. 3. NAME YOURSELF. 4. YOUR AMBITION. GO GO GO GO."
Kaplinski went up to the Professor a little bit scared for she was large man and a little mad but that did not matter She as going to be stong and okay. She then stood up, bowed, then said "Hello my name is Kaplinski Rival and my ambition is to be a Pro Quidditch player when I grow up."
Aaron actually GREETED The Professor right! The man was off his rocker! But, Aaron wouldn't let him get to him. He smiled, stood up, and bowed. "My name is Aaron Anderson," he said after he bowed. "And I wish to do my best at whatever I decide i want to do with my Wizard adult life." He sat back down and hoped that was a suffice answer. Aaron already decided what his least favorite class is. AND HE LOVES ASTRONOMY! This...guy...NUTS!
"WHEN I was your AGE I knew exactly what I wanted to be when I grew up. I HAD HOPES. I had DREAMS. And look at me today. REALLY, each of you, TAKE A LOOK at ME." Lord Borr waddled across the room so that ALL sides of the class could SEE him.

Laura flinched. Sure, she'd would look at him, she couldn't NOT look at him, he was sca-ry. Uh-huh, so scary, she was, like nearly paralysed. He knew what he wanted to be when he was her age? Well, she knew what she wanted to do, and that was [i]never be in his presence again[/s] be a healer. Yup. But did she have to say it out loud?
Fingers crossed under the desk, Laura screwed her eyes shut and prayed he wouldn't say that they all ha-
Too late. She sighed and waited for her turn, as everyone else stood up and said, or stuttered, out their name and ambition, and whatever other nonsense that Lord dude had asked for. Shaking as she stood up, Laura blushed as she bowed, her low confidence levels showing. "Laura Flamel, sir," she muttered, half to the floor. "Snd I...uh, I want to be a Healer."
Uh huh. That over with, she sat down with a sigh, still trembling. Gawd, she wasn't looking forward to the rest of this lesson. She sank furthur into her chair, praying that the teacher wouldn't notice her anymore.

"My name is Tiberius Pryce, sir. And.." Tiberius hesitated here. This could either go very well or very poorly. His voice shaking, he continued. "My ambition is..." he was going to say grow up to be a man of stature, like yourself, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. "...is to make a difference in people's lives..." or maybe he could... "much like, you, sir."
Oh Tibi.. lying. Shame shame. Knees continuing to quake, and tears threatening to well in his eyes, Tiberius sat back down and refrained from looking at Borr.

Lucy slid out from her desk and stomped right out the classroom, angrier than ever. You want manners? YOU GOT MANNERS, LORDY BURP-HEAD.
Standing straight up, walked properly into the class and stopped in front of Borr. She gave a proper little curtsy, and said as politely as possible, "My name is Lucy Dawn, sir, and my ambition at the moment is to find out whether or not you have the manners you are teaching us so that I can decide whether or not to label you as my fabulous and wise mentor. SIR." Hah! An insult and a praise, wrapped up in one. Right now, she could care less about points, just that he got the words he deserved. Immediately, Lucy marched back to her seat, plopped right down, back straight, and her eyes glaring harshly at Borr.

"My name is Celandine Toussaint and when I grow up I want to marry a great man and look after him. Make him cookies and and sing him songs and look after him when he's had a really long and hard day."

That wasn't completely true, or even true at all really, but Celandine's expression was earnest and she deepened her curtsey respectfully.

Sure he liked the subject, but there were other subjects that he was just as good in. And besides, from the looks of things, it didn't seem like he'd be learning a whole lot on Astronomy this term anyway . . .
But at least he got to sit, because the sixteen year old had looked over at the girl who was told to stand for the lesson. Willow. Poor Willow. Granted she didn't greet him at all, but that was her arrogance; something he admired about the Ravenclaw Captain.
Sighing, the Head Boy was about to take a seat when he was confronted about doing HIS job to handle the students acting like pigs. What?! Big Head? Merlin... the only one with a big head around these quarters seemed to be him, Lord Berty Borr. Of course he didn't have a little head either, but ugh. Apparently this Borr was too big headed to pay attention to small details.
Which is why when he asked them to stand up and bow to him and introduce themselves, Dominic doubted the man would even CARE. No, Borr would not care and Dominic was tempted right now to walk out of the classroom. He could. Even if he did get an 'O' on his Astronomy OWL, like he considered, he didn't need the subject.
And he wasn't going to bow. Nope siree. Not after Borr couldn't take any consideration in getting his position correct.
Taking a seat near the door in the middle, he waited to see if they would actually be having a lesson today. Or just getting their morales lowered. Dominic was betting on the latter.

Followed by the BRIGHT STUDENTS, Lord Borr had not one, BUT TWO COMPLETELY RUDE, COMPLETELY BRAINLESS WONDERS. "Is there something WRONG with you two? HUFFLEPUFF IS SUPPOSED TO BE the HOUSE OF CHAMPIONS!" Lord Borr, for example, had been a Hufflepuff.
Lord Borr was the CHAMPION OF CHAMPIONS.

AND YOU NEED ALL YOU GET! SIT DOWN. If you clap for yourself ONE MORE TIME ---- EVER AGAIN ---- in my presence, I WILL PERSONALLY DEAL WITH YOU."

He had no doubt he'd accomplish that.

"Ahhhh!" Lord Borr's eyes fell upon two well dressed, appropriately well spoken young Slytherin men. Lord Borr had had great success with Slytherins in the past. GREAT success. Seemed to be a pattern. "Bravo, men, BRAVO. Please, get up and bring your desks up to here beside my desk. SIT BESIDE ME. You've earned the right. LORD BORR IS PROUD OF YOU. Hurry now, hurry. Don't have all day! WELL DONE MEN."
These two would be getting invitations to the Lounge, Lord Borr decided.

"OH GOOD SHOW, YOUNG MAN! I had lost ALL HOPE! ALL HOPE WAS LOST on my former House! GOOD SHOW, GOOD SHOW! I might not have to dry heave in the waste bin after all! WELL DONE! I'm so PROUD of YOU! Do you feel GOOD about yourself? YOU SHOULD! I feel good! Come! COME to the front and give me a hug! YOU DESERVE IT, SON!!!!"

What? It was true! Hopefully Borr wouldn't even KNOW what an astronaut was--and then, knowing him, he wouldn't be bothered to ask what it was. If he did, Jack would tell him that he would be out in SPACE, away from HIM. And then, he'd probably lose points. But it would be allll worth it.
Of course, if he were in space he could probably see Borr from up there, considering the man was SO HUGE. Blehhhhhhhh. Someone needed to diettttt.

Hoping that his statement would be deemed sufficient, he remained standing until asked to be seated by Lord Borr.
"Well, well, well, well, well," Lord Borr began after many failed attempts to get up and out of his chair. Trust Ethan Truebridge to supply the room with CHEAP furniture. The fibers must have melded with Lord Borr's bottom. AS IF HE HAD TIME FOR THIS?!?!
"I SEE we have a FEW men with the HEAD IN THE CLOUDS! WITH YOUR HEAD IN THE CLOUDS!!! I want you three to get up, go to my lounge, and begin a list of how and why your ambitions are worthless. I want you to talk it over with each other and I want you to wait on me there. YOU WILL GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF THE CLOUDS BEFORE THE year is over, sons! I WILL HELP YOU. Now, go, before you taint the minds of my other students!! GO."
Lord Borr had spoken.
After one more failed attempt to stand, Lord Borr rolled his chair out to the middle of the room. "Everyone ELSE GET UP. Get up. Right now, DO NOT DALLY. I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR DALLYING. I want everyone to GET UP and GO TO THE WINDOW and tell me what YOU SEE! HURRY UP! MOVE MOVE MOVE. What is outside? WHAT DO YOU NOTICE?"
Lord Borr's tummy began to RUUMMMMBBLLLLEEE. He was quite hungry. Poor busy and important LORD Borr.

Why on Earth is this man screaming Herminny thought to herself as she quickly got up and walked toward the window. "I see a bird flying high in the sky".
Aaron scrambled up and to the window. He looked out. "Well, lord. I see the blue sky. The white clouds. A few darker clouds in the distance. The grounds. Students on the grounds. The Quidditch pitch in the distance. Trees. And.... The sun." He looked up at the professor to make sure that was a suffice answer.

Window? Window. EH.
Sighing Tammy left her seat and headed over to the window, exchanging somewhat some VERY bored and annoyed looks withs ome other students in there. Borr was scary.
AND, his lessons were a BORE.
Geddit? BORR and BORE. EH. The humour of the class was so not getting to Tammy, and considering there was no humour. . .
There was nothing keeping her sane. Reaching the window, Tammy shrugged. "I see a window... And outside of the window.. I see the grounds. . . But in my reflection.. That I can just about seee. I see me. And a bunch of other kids that are here too." She piped up quickly, obviously talking to herself mainly, considering the day dreamy tone her voice had taken, and the lolled way her head was staring into the window.
Bonnie hurried over to the window.
She looked at the sky. Should I raise my hand? Bonnie thought.
She did so anyway. "Sir, I see a deep blue sky with curly, cream, clouds, sir."
Bonnie smiled at her courage.
