"No, Anna, I didn't say to send him to me... I said to tell me, and I would call him... do not SEND him to me... you want to show him you are not Bossy and Arrogant luv." She told her.

"Ohhh, right. I knew that," Anna said, blushing and looking down at her feet again. "Alright, so if I run out of luck with the candy, I'll tell you." The professor was right---if she ordered poor Seymour to go to Professor Lupa, he'd get offended for sure! Good thing Professor Lupa pointed that out to her before she ran over and destroyed things for good! Anna took another sip of her coffee and ate the last of her cake. Professors could really be so welcoming when it came to visiting them in their offices!

"Good girl... and who knows." she said sipping her coffee... "you may fall in love with the boy..." She smiled at Cale... she looked at the badges on the Gryffindors. She quickly pulled her wand out of her sleeve and, with a sweet smile, cast a bat bogey hex on both of them.

"Thank you," Anna said, replying to the 'good girl' comment her professor had just given her. Anna's eyes flickered to a nearby wall, and she stared at it absentmindedly while considering the conversation she'd just had. Of course Seymour wasn't in love with her. Merlin, he wasn't even "in like" with her. Could she somehow convince him that she was truly sorry for offending him and that she genuinely wanted to be his friend, though? She certainly hoped so. Anna also considered the discussion they'd had about Professor Kazimeriz. She couldn't necessarily ask the man about his connection to the ghosts...could she? No, definitely not. He'd hex her for sure---and this time, it wouldn't be part of any of his lessons or homework! She could...and would be nice and respectful to him, though. She'd prove herself a hardworker, and she would attempt learning everything he could teach her. When Anna heard the professor mention that she just might fall in love with Seymour, Anna blinked and refocused her attention on her Ancient Runes professor. "Oh, miss...with all due respect, I don't wish to fall in love with Seymour. I'd just like to be his friend, that's all," she said, glancing over in Cale's direction.

Noticing a very quick---almost too quick---movement on the professor's behalf, Anna's eyes darted back towards where they'd been focused on before. A wand? What is she going to do with a--- Anna glanced quickly down at the shining Defense Against the Dark Arts badge she was wearing. "Cale!" she shrieked, tugging on his sleeve with one arm and yanking her wand out with the other. She didn't have time to explain to him what she'd discovered. She only hoped that he would have it all figured out on his own. Anna jumped out of her chair, knocking it and her body over in the process. Eep! She was on the floor! Maybe that would buy her a bit of time, though. Remembering what Professor Kazimeriz said, Anna glanced up and noticed the angle of Professor Lupa's wand. She knew that if she could anticipate the general area the where the spell will hit, she could then focus her energy and motion into that one region instead of casting a bigger, broader shield.

When she had determined the exact area she anticipated the hex would hit, Anna quickly raised her wand and focused and concentrated quite deeply on the shield she wished to raise. Twisting her wrist just as she'd been taught, Anna called out a confident and strong, "Protego!" She watched as a shield---just as she'd imagined it---blocked the Bat-Bogey Hex that had been casted at her. She continued to focus on the shield, hoping Cale's luck had been similar to her's.

Cale wrinkled his dark eyebrows again. Whyyyyy was Lupa so intent on having Anna fall for Seymour? Good lord, she didn't seriously fancy him THAT much, did she? Feeling extremely uncomfortable, he slouched down in his seat a bit more, almost as if he was trying to hide.

A second later, however, Cale just happened to notice that Lupa had glanced at the badge on his chest. At first, he thought she was admiring his prefect's badge--after all, who wouldn't admire a prefect?--but then he remembered he was wearing that Defense badge as well...that was the only warning he got. A second later, Anna started yelling at him, and he reached for his wand in the pocket of his robes. To his surprise, he managed to pull it out in one swift motion, not even fumbling with it. SCORE!

Ok, quick, protect yourself! he thought. Focusing all his energy on creating a shield, he closed his eyes and waved his wand the way he was supposed to. "Protego!" he yelled, not as loud as Anna, but still pretty powerful compared to his usual incantations. He opened his eyes slightly, peeking to see if he had cast a shield....YES! He had done it! Reminding himself to not lose his concentration again like he had in class, he kept his focus centered on maintaining the shield in front of him for a few more seconds. The longer he held it, the more he realized that it WAS possible to feel mental exhaustion...his brain was hurting! Of course, he was wrinkling his eyebrows reallyyyyyy hard for some reason, probably to help him concentrate.

"Yaaaay!" Alessia said clapping! "Very Good! You both blocked..." She was excited. "Now you have something for your homework. You are all dismissed." She said bouncing up and winking at Cale.

Lyra ate her cake but there was just one thing that puzzled Merlin's left toe out of her; this woman thought of KraziKazi as her....

Papa? Papa Valon? What in the...world?

Maybe this woman just didn't know the hexing-student professor the way she did. Kazimeriz was just...just...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! He made Lyra mad as everything with what he did to Aagie and...there was something just not right with the man. What professor goes around hexing students?

OH NO!

Lyra was deep in thought when she heard Cale and Banana use the Protego shield. "What the-" She paused, tilting her head to the side the quickly stood up from where she was reaching inside her robes to grab her wand. Obviously it was a good thing that she was not hexed because she would have been hit by the...GASP!

ANOTHER HEXING PROFESSOR? Has Hogwarts lost their minds?

"Are you...crazy?" Lyra couldn't help but mouth off at the professor with a shocking look on her face. "What is going on with everyone? Professors hexing students?" She looked to Robert and grabbed his hand. "Let's get out of here before she tries something else." That was not a fun thing to put up with and she was NOT happy with this. At least Anna and Cale were paying attention as these professors were...just not themselves.

Robert was lost in thought playing and replaying what had occurred in the Room of Requirement in his mind when he heard Anna and Cale. Looking up he saw that they were blocking a spell cast by the...Professor? His hands flinched as he wanted to grab his wand but instead was stopped by Lyra grabbing his hand. Hearing her speak his eyes widened as he heard her remarks to the professor and he stood up. "Ummm...." Was all he got out as they headed toward the door. He looked back at the others, his expression that of utter shock, disbelief and confusion. What had just happened there and why did she hex them?

Alessia turned to Lyra, shocked. "Miss Noir... you must have missed the last DADA lesson. I was merely helping Miss Greingoth and Cale... Mr. Newell," she winked at the boy again, "with their homework... but... I guess as a Hufflepuff, you don't want the Gryffindors to earn more points." She giggled, "I'm joking... Miss Noir, the students who wear the DADA badges need to be on alert for people to hex them."

Ross walked up to miss Lupa's door and knocked on it, he had the letter in his hand ready to be given.

Less turned to the door and opened it. "Hi Ross honey, have a seat on the bench outside my office, and" She looked and saw someone already there, "and after prefect Denton, you will be next. K-thanks-bye!" And she shut the door.

From her spot on the floor, Anna glanced up and smiled at Professor Lupa, who was clapping and cheering over her hex being successfully blocked. "Thanks, Professor Lupa," Anna mumbled, pushing herself off the floor and brushing any possible dirt off her clothes. She grabbed the chair she'd fallen out of and gently put it back where it belonged. "Well, that's one part of the homework assignment we've completed," she said. "I believe that's all I had to discuss with you. Thank you so much for your time, Professor." Her parents had always taught her that it was rude for her to dismiss herself in front of an adult, so Anna waited patiently for her professor to tell her she was dismissed. After that, she'd hurry back to the Common Room and get started, once again, on her search for Seymour Addams.

Alessie turned around and looked at the students. "Did you not hear me? I said you are all dismissed... Go... I have other people to speak me." Then she turned to Cale and said "But come back any time."

Cale nodded. He was still in shock after the whole little attack in the office to do much. "Erm yeah, sorry...bye Professor," he added with a small wave, smiling before exiting out of her office. Best to get out of there now before she tried to give him more cake and winked at him some more.

"Oh, yes, ma'am," Anna replied, taking note of the urgent tone in her professor's voice. She supposed there probably were a good many more students waiting to talk to the professor. As Anna turned to leave, she caught sight of the professor glancing directly at Cale as she made the offer for them to come back any time. Of course that meant that Cale was welcome back any time he pleased. Geez. Was Anna going to have to end up marrying the boy to keep him safe from others? Students and professors alike? "Thanks for your time, Professor. See you in class!" Anna said, while walking out the door and heading back out into the corridor.

As he heard the Professor's remark to Lyra he chuckled quietly and shook his head making a mental note to talk to Lyra about her acting so strangely. Feeling his arm nearly being pulled out of it's socket he sighed and nodded before saying for the first time in a slightly amused tone, "Nice to meet you, professor, and thanks for seeing us." As Lyra continued to pull on his arm he shrugged at Anna and Cale and followed her out into the corridor.

Completely started, Dominic had jumped up from the bench in a heartbeat when all of a sudden a boy had appeared out of nowhere. And then the Professor too telling him to make his way into the san- oh no - did she just call him 'lovie'?

Positively pale and almost transparent as Myrtle was, without the tears obviously, Dominic didn't even notice her hex the boy. Nor the fact that he was a Hufflepuff, and followed the attractive cunning and youthful runes professor into her sanctum office.

Oh. Don't show uncomfort. She might prey on you and bite your skin or something.

Refraining from cringing as best as possible, Dominic drew a deep breath. First the Library and now this; oh for the love of Merlin, he survived until the first quidditch game, it would be a miracle.

"Professor Lupa," the fifth year finally breathed out. "I- you. Um, how are you? Um, comfortable waiting area you have out there..." Awkward.

"Yeah, I think it's cute." She said sitting on her fluffy. "So Mr. Denton, I believe you are here to... fulfill something Professor Kazimeriz has assingned to you? Though he hasn't told me what."

Once inside the office, Dominic tried to relax his nerves by smoothing his robes and above all, not looking at the cunning witch before him. But when he finally did look up, he noticed the peculiarity of the office. There was no desk; no bookshelves. Only china dishes and a large fluffy ottoman, which could only be described as the most putrid of colors, purple. Or royalty, perhaps, but that was the last thing the fifth year wanted to think of.

Wrangling his hands to distract himself from the walls and fluffy ottoman of which she was seated - did she have no manners to offer HIM a seat? - The hufflepuff nodded.

Oh. So it was her who had known of Kazimeriz's little cruel assignment. "Yes, Professor Lupa, I have something that I wish to show you," he replied, his right hand slipping into his pocket and withdrawing the parchment, hoping for something quick and painless as with Ashby.

"I have cake." she said turning around and pulling the cake from the middle of the ottoman... "Would you like some cake Mr. Denton... Cale Newell liked it... Do you know prefect Newell? You must right? Can you tell me more about him?" After all he was 18, not that much younger.

I have cake. Well that was random.

Here he was about to share something with her and she offers him cake? And then brings up just about the worst name ever in the history of Hogwarts. Sighing he replaced the parchment into his pocket. This wouldn't be a quick and easy visit after all, it seemed.

"Cake?" he arched a brow. "What kind? Oh. Yes, I do know Cale Newell." Dom uttered the name through clenched teeth. "He's um, well, I don't know too much about him ..." other than he's a nosy, brat who likes to butt his curly head into every little thing.

"... he's dating the other Gryffindor Prefect, Anna." Poor dear. How does she ever put up with him? And why hasn't she changed him yet?

"OH no, no no no... that won't do... See, Seymour Addams is going to be Anna's boyfriend... Cale is FAAAAR too mature for her... see I think he needs... an Older woman... Not much older... but older... Yes..." She giggled and offered the boy cake. "You should be so lucky as to grow up to become someone like Cale Newell."

Seymour Addams is going to be Anna's boyfriend? Who in the name of Merlin is Seymour Addams? Oh wait ... that name sounded familiar. Yes! That was the name of the boy who Kazimeriz had disillusioned during the lesson; geeky young boy. And wait, was Lupa giggling like a FANGIRL over curly haired perfect bigheaded boy?! Oh this was just too good ...

"Hmm, yes... of course," The fifth year finally commented, figuring it was best to just go along with her. "Anyway, did you want to read this sonnet?"

Jack walked up to the door and stopped by the door, shaking slightly, he raised his hand, knocked on the door and stood back, waiting for an answer.

"Yes... hold on a moment." She said raising a finger... "I need to handle something."

She opened her door and saw young Mr. Mosier. "Mr Mosier..." She silently summoned the boy's wand and pocketed it. "I will have your wand, and you will sit on the bench outside my office with Ross. Once I am finished with Prefect Denton and Ross, you will be next, and you may retrieve your wand then." She then closed the door in his face.

"Now prefect Denton..." She said sitting down, "Do go on... More cake?"
