"Fine." Sakura stood up and began walking away from him. He didn't want to be at Hogwarts, he just wanted to be at home, well then, he could go home for all she cared. He wanted to just be with his dad. Well that ruled out other company then didn't it. Ruled out people like her!

Jack saw her get up he reached out for her but, she was already going, he put his head down again and started to cry, didn't she understand that he was trying to protect her? He wanted to keep her safe, his presence put her in danger, he felt like he was the curse.

As soon as Sakura got around the corner she sunk to the ground. It hurt so much to be rejected. Like she wasn't good enough. She was never good enough. Her mother always walked away or pushed her away as well. No one ever wanted to be around her. They always pushed her away, not even her family treated her in the same manner as her siblings. She was always pushed to the back, always the one who got the least amount of attention. She realised that she was crying but did nothing to wipe away the tears. After all it's not like anyone would care. She was worthless, unlovable, ugly, a shame to her name, weak and pathetic. Why had she thought Jack would think any differently?

Jack wanted to comfort Sakura, he knew everything she was thinking, he disagreed with every single thought, he stood up, his face tear stained, he walked around the corner and sat next to her "Hey, I'm sorry, I just... feel like I'm hurting you when I am around" he told her "Don't think those things" he said softly while hugging her with one arm "None of them are true" Jack told her as he tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

"It's what my family think, not that anyone outside my family would know that, not even Ruby does. It's been drilled into me since I was two." She laughed slightly, but you could tell that it was self-deprecating not from any kind of mirth. "Don't you realise that I live for you? I don't know what I'd do without you." She started crying harder while burying her face in his chest.

Jack sighed "Just 'cause they think it, it doesn't neccessarily mean it's true" Jack told her "I live for you too, but I can't keep putting you in danger" Jack told her "Even me sitting here talking is dangerous, you never know what could come around the corner, but knowing my luck, it will be some idiot" Jack glanced at the corner "who has a grudge against me" Jack added.

"You don't put me in danger. If I get into dangerous situations it is my fault. You'd feel horrible if something happened to me while you were with me right? How much worse would you feel though if something happened to me, which you could have prevented, because you 'refused to put me in danger'. You'd feel worse then wouldn't you?" Okay so that was a tiny bit unfair but it was how she felt and she is a Slytherin.

Jack shook his head "No... I am a curse" he told her "I will feel awful if anything happens to you, at all" Jack stared at her "I want to save you from me, But I can't do it, I have to save myself first, I have to think about so much, I have to learn things, I have to try to control the voices, I have to stop the screaming" Jack was starting to get upset, he knew he had to stop, but it was the screaming again "No... no... NO" Jack shouted at the voices "I will NOT" he hit his head, it did nothing except hurt him.

"Jack, I don't need to be saved from you. Nothing will happen to me. I promise." She tilted her head to the side slightly and scrunched her nose up in a cute way. "Jack calm down please, breath." Sakura moved back slightly when he started to hit his head against the wall. "Stop. Please, you'll only hurt yourself." Sakura was getting desperate now. Moving closer to him she carefully situated herself behind him and wrapped her arms around him. Effectively creating a cage. Now she just had to hope that he wouldn't move in case he hurt her...

Jack groaned "No, you don't get it... you don't understand" Jack had started to cry again "No, I wont... I can't... no... not me... not her... not now" Jack ran his hand through his hair worriedly "No... no... no... no..." he kept repeating as he gently prised Sak's hands off him "No, Sak, run" Jack told her "Just... run" he told her, the tears fell thickly "No, I wont, never, not like that" Jack mumbled "No... no... no... no... no... no... no... no... no..." Jack kept repeating as if he was in a trance.

Agie slid around the corner and saw JACK. Ahhh, fresh meat. It was payback time. He broke her best friends nose. Hmmm, what was the best spell?

Agie pointed her wand and cast the Jelly Legs Jinx on Jack.

Jack was trying to ignore the voices, he couldn't stop them, and, Oh no, another one, he was hit by the jinx, he fell to the floor and gasped "Not the time" he growled forcedly "Protego" he cast in case any more spells were coming

Agie snickered and walked a little close. "What do you mean it's not the time? You always have to be on the look out for attackers. There is never a right time." She laughed.

"I'm Agie, btw. You punched my best friend in the face." She said, flicking her wand in her hand.

Jack shook his head "Don't start with me" He warned "Nice to meet you Agie, oh is that the girl?" he asked curiously while still on the floor, his face screwed up in concentration

"Don't start with you? But I already have." She grinned.

"Aren't you going to fight back?" She asked. It was no fun, if he was just going to sit there on the floor. Agie wanted to laugh at his face. So full of concentration. "Yeah, that's the girl. My bestie." She said, watching his face more. "What's wrong? Is your shield charm getting harder to hold? ..What about if I... " She said, flicking her wand to perform the Bat-Bogey Hex.

Jack was starting to shake "No. It's... wrong to fight back" Jack tried to take a deep breath

That's not working, how about I just breathe

Jack took short shallow breaths "Protego" he cast, it wasn't strong enough, he was attacked by a load of bogies "ALRIGHT. THAT'S IT!" Jack slammed his fist on the floor while he raised his wand "I told Sakura to run, I told you to not start. But no, you ignore me, she's worried about me and... I have a really strong urge to curse you to hell" Jack's face was like thunder, he was not going to be nice, no, he was actually going to give in to the need to curse.

Ooookkkkkk. Agie did not expect that reaction. It was only an itcy bitcy little hex. She could have cast a meaner one.

Agie slowly started to walk back. "I'll be going now. Maybe you should see the nurse." Or visit St. Mungos. With that, she turned and ran off down the corridor.

Jack was annoyed now, he needed to hex someone, he had to, he was too angry not to, he walked from one side of the corridor to the other, it did nothing for him, he needed to calm down... but how? He closed his eyes, but that seemed to make it worse, he saw Sak... should he? No.

Do it the voice urged Go on, it won't hurt... well, it wont hurt you the voice carried on Baby... Chicken... Fish... PATHETIC

Jack's hands turned into fists, he didn't like that. Oh no. Not good. He started to walk towards Sak... 'NO!' he told himself 'YOU LOVE HER' Jack changed direction and made it look like he was walking towards the wall while trying to push the voices away, it was too hard, he would hurt someone... Sak really needed to run now.

Antonio was walking through the corridor outside his office when he heard the sound of a commotion. As he stepped outside he heard the sound of someone shouting. Not surprisingly, he discovered that it was Jack who was out here, apparently he had just gotten into a confrontation with someone who was no longer there. "What's going on?", he asked. "Jack, what's happening out here?"

Jack made a small sound "Don't, just go" he told him "Seriously" Jack kept pacing even though it was doing nothing, he was fighting his own will, he was trying to stay away from Sak and other people "Just... leave it" he muttered, his hands were still balled into fists, he was trying to stop himself. His face was tear stained and he was shaking.

"What happened?", Antonio asked. "What's wrong, Jack, what happened now? And where is Sakura?" He could have sworn he saw the two leave his office together. "Why don't you come back to my office and talk about this, rather than standing out in the hall?"

Jack shook his head "No" he muttered before pointing at Sak on the floor "I told her to run" he muttered more to himself, obviously Sak was ok, but she had tears on her face too. He kept pacing, eveytime he blinked, he saw the same picture.

Amanda easily dodged out of the way of Kayla's stretching jinx, this was becoming way too simple. She saw the collision of the hexes and moved out of the way, so she didn't get hit. She smirked and decided to give Kayla something more challenging to handle, she fired off the stinging hex followed immediately by the jelly brain jinx.

Jack stopped pacing to watch the duel interestedly, he wanted to get involved, the voice told him to, but Jack was wary... he glanced at Sak and started pacing again, still very angry

Antonio looked at Jack. "Are you going to be okay?", he asked. He knew that there was siome kind of dueling going on in the hallways which was part of DADA class, and figured Jack would want to be involved in it. He hoped he could keep his head about him in this situation.
