Jenn walked around the library, humming and flipping through random pages. She stopped suddenly when something caught her eyes. Looking closely, she shrugged, thinking it's nothing, and looks around again, but still glancing at the dark corner.

The student was very perceptive to pick up on his presence, but of course no one could see him, least of all a mere student. Voldemortist stood still in wait. But for what?

Jenn was starting to feel like someone was watching her. A shiver ran up her spin. "Just relaxe Jenn. It's probably just a.....rat or something."she soothed out loud. Then she whipped around. Looking for some type of animal, she could find none. "Probably ran off."she muttered. Still though, she felt all creeped out. "Who's there."she asked quietly, her back turned.

After entering the library to do some Herbology homework, Cale had been watching the girl stare into the dark corner of the library for some time now. Wrinkling his eyebrows, he finally determined something was up and, being the nosy prefect that he was, he figured he'd have a looksy into what was going on.

"Erm, excuse me," he said, tapping the little Ravvie girl on the shoulder. "Is something wrong?" he asked, glancing to the corner she was staring at.

Reese walked into the library,to return a book,but then noticed Cale and a Ravenclas girl looking at a dak corner.Whhhhat are they doing?She sat her book down on a table nearby and walked over to them. "Is something wrong over here?"

Rian hummed quietly to herself as she walked through the library. She wasn't paying attention to where she was going, and - to her embarrassment - bumped into something hard and solid.

Cale! she let out a squeak when she realized who exactly she'd run into. "Sorry, I- Jenn!" she whispered her friends name out of relief. Looking around herself, she realized that Jenn seemed a bit freaked out. "What's going on?"

"What are you doing?" Anna asked, following her boyfriend over to a particular corner in the library. "If I don't get this Divination homework done shortly, I'm seriously in danger of getting not-so-great marks in that class. Not to mention, you've got Herbology to take care of..." Anna's voice trailed off until she'd gone completely quiet. She watched the girl that Cale was speaking to, waiting patiently to hear her reply and find out just what was so important about her that Cale had to come over and see about.

The Grey Lady emerged from one of the bookcases and passed through the female Gryffindor prefect. "Studying in dark corners is not good for your eyesight," she said and looked at the other students.

Kayla made her way into the library in the hopes of finding some more information for her DADA homework. She made her way through the bookshelves searching for the right book. As she rounded a corner, she spotted a group of people milling around and she approached them quietly. "Er...what's so exciting about this part of the library?" she asked no-one in particular.

Jenn jumped out of her skin. "Oh! It's you. Um, well. I swear there's something over there, and well, it's quite disturbing."she said, shaking slightly. "It's probably nothing."she added, grinning weakly.

"No. Well, ya. I think there's, well, something over there."she said, pointing. "That's all. I thought it was a rat, but then, I thought I heard more movement."she said, sighing.

"What I just told them. I swear there's something over there."she said, clutching onto Rian like her life was on a thread.

Jenn smiled smally at Anna as she joined them. Pointing simply at the spot, she hoped she had been listening to what she had just told the other three.

Reese looked at the girl as she answered her question.Heard movement?She looked back at the dark corner."Who's there?"she asked. "Show yourself!" She probably didn't want to know who was hiding,but...she had Cale to hide behind if it got too scary.Hehe.

Startled by a sudden uneasy feeling coming over her entire body, Anna jumped back a bit and glanced down, panicked at the thought of something terrible happening to her. What in Merlin's name? With worried eyes, she suddenly glanced up, immediately taking notice of the ghost that must have just flown right through her. "Oh, hello there," she politely greeted. Studying? They weren't studying... "Oh, we're just, erm...just...tell her, Cale," Anna said, nudging her boyfriend in the side. There was really no easy explanation as to why a sudden semi-large group of students were assembled in a particular corner of the library. For one, Anna didn't even know why she was there, let alone why the other students were there.

"Something...in the dark corner?" Anna asked, looking over at the Ravenclaw girl who'd finally spoken. "I don't see anyone...or feel anyone's presence for that matter." Then again, that could be because she'd just had a ghost fly directly through her... "I guess I could go and check it out for you." Reluctantly, Anna made her way through the crowd of students and into the dark corner.

Curt was on the other side of the Library, study very very hard for NEWTS. Then, there was a very loud commotion over in the corner, so loud in fact that Curtis slammed his potions textbook shut and stomped over to the busy area.

"What is going on? Seriously, keep it down I'm trying to study." He said shaking his head, they'd know the importance of NEWTS one day too... Then Cale caught his eye, and an eyebrow shot up. "Is everything.... ok?" His once demanding tone was now vaguely concerned.

Of course, the one day Freya wanted to visit the library to get something done, a group of people were gathered around one corner of the place. What was Jennumara doing? 'Yes, go to the darkest corner of the library and hang out there...always a good idea.' She seemed to be the center of everything. "Jenn, are you causing trouble?" Freya said with a smirk and absentmindedly lifted a random book off of a nearby shelf and flipping through the pages.

The corner was rather creepy though, the short hairs on the back of her neck stood up, and she got goosebumps on her arms. 'Just a chill...surely.' She wandered off to the other side of the library, wondering what other books she should bother looking through.

And that was his cue to leave. I was getting too crowded in here.

"The dark can be frightening," the Grey Lady said and looked at each of the students. "Why don't we go to the light and speak of Professor Kazimeriz's last lecture? It was mesmerizing."

Cale looked up at the Grey Lady, who had just floated through Anna and was observing all the students in the area. "Oh, we're not, just checking out an apparant disturbance here," he explained with a friendly grin before turning to the Ravvie girl again.

Glancing at the dark corner once more, Cale shrugged. "Well, I have to agree, I feeeeeeeeeel like something is here, but I don't see anything. Maybe you felt the presence of the Grey Lady before she came over here," he suggested. He had a creepy feeling about this part of the library as well, and he knew from past experience that dark corners didn't usually bring bright, happy things to people who snooped around in them.

"Reese, I don't think anyone is here," Cale said, blinking at his friend. "But I think the Grey Lady is right, we should probably be moving someplace else," he suggested to the people around him.

Oh dang. Someone was angry about the little gathering in the library. Turning on his heel, Cale saw a very agitated Curt heading their way. "Nothing, it's all clear now," he informed him. Best to spit it right out before the Hufflepuff tore his head off for disrupting him. "This girl thought she heard something or saw something moving, but we determined there isn't anything there," he explained, glancing at the corner again. The weird feeling didn't seem to be going away for him.

Rian looked up at the ghost. She was everywhere, wasn't she? Professor Kazmir-whatshisname? Ugh. "Ma'am, we were just-" she cut herself off and shook her head. She had no idea whatsoever what they were all doing here.

Hearing what Cale said, she nodded quickly. Yes, listen to the Prefect. This was obviously not something good...or else it wouldn't be dark, right? Rian shivered slightly and turned around, draggin Jenn along with her, trying to get out of the corner.

"See, it's alright. I don't see or feel anything back here at all," Anna said, turning around and around in the corner. "If there was someone or something here, he's gone now..." She giggled and turned around and around a few more times, just for good measure, and then threw her hands into the air. "So what now? There are a ton of us gathered into this one little corner. No use wasting a good moment when you see one---who's got candy?!?!"

Reese looked at Cale then back to the dark corner. "I guess you're right,Cale,"she said. "Okay,let's go..." She looked back at Cale.She didn't like the feeling of this place. It was getting way tooo creepy.

*Gabben walked down the rows looking for a book. He let out a big yawn s he turned the corner.*

"Kayla?" *He said in his yawn as he walked over to her.*

"In for homework too huh?"

"It must have been the Baron," the Grey Lady replied. "He's been following me around of late. Sometimes he materializes. Sometimes he remains hidden."

Oh. The Bloody Baron. That made sense...and he was kinda creepy, too. Rian frowned slightly as she stopped walking, seeing that nobody else was moving. She looked curiously at...Anna, was that her name? Well, at Anna when she asked if anyone had candy.

"I do." she said quietly, blushing and hoping no one heard her.

"The handsome Professor Vindictus always has sweets in his office," the Grey Lady informed the group. "So does the beautiful Professor Shackleton. Besides, sweets aren't allowed in the Hogwarts library."
