The Herbology office is still strangely decorated. The music playing is still beautiful, but melancholy. It sets a dark and eerie tone for the rest of the room. The walls are lined with black velvet, draped in dark blue silk. The atmosphere is dark and humid with exotic plants all around, small suns hanging over each one in different intensities. Some are rare, and some don't look familiar at all. At the back of the office is an oak desk with dark varnish and a black marble top. The chairs are dark oak with plush blue velvet and silver trim.

Behind the desk sits Professor Carracio, formerly Professor Erikson, smiling softly and inviting you in. He's fairly pale for someone who works outdoor often (though fairly normal for the average person), with contrasting long black hair. Some of it falls into his face, but the rest is pulled back in a low ponytail. His navy blue eyes are haunted a moment, though clear as he notices your presence. As you have a seat he lowers the music volume and smiles warmly, though it doesn't quite reach the cold depths of his blank eyes.

"Yes, childe?"

He glanced over as he thought he saw something, only to see nothing standing in his doorway. I must be losing my mind. And this is your first notice? Certainly not. Realizing he was distracted he moved over and shut the door. "I thought I included it in the note. It was a potion to counteract the dizziness."

"Good. Take this too," she said to the boy... "and then I'll have a prefect come take you to the common room. Alright?" She told him.

Theo frowned, and nodding, his brain rattling in his head. "Who are da prefect's?"

She quickly scribbled a note and sent it flying with her wand. "Take the potion... You'll see. They are nice students who will help you."

Theo nodded, opening his eyes slightly. He took a look at the potion and grasped it in his little hand. Slowly he swallowed it. His head fell lightly against his chest and the vial slipped from his hand.

Drago smiled down gently to the young boy, one of the few bare shattered remnants of who he had once been. "We will have to have that talk later. Be more careful next time you visit, alright?" he said to the sleeping boy, though knowing he wouldn't be heard. He sighed and stood straighter, looking at Cassandra. "Thank you. I trust he will be alright."

Alex quickly moved over and sat in the chair in front of Erickson's desk. Looking over his shoulder at the scene behind him.

With a piece of parchment in her hand, Evangeline made her way to Professor Erik .. Caraccio's office, inwardly thanking herself for deciding to go out to the grounds today. It seemed there was some kind of emergency ... at least judging by Trelawney's note.

Reaching the door, she knocked and peeked inside. "I got your note, Miss Trelawney." She said, nodding at the paper in your hand before nodding at the Professor. "Hello, Professor Caraccio." Yup, he still scared her. "You said there was a student to escort?"

"Yes..." She said to the prefect. "He'll be fine Drago..." she called him by his first name, "The potion I gave him put him in a safe sleep state. Safe enough for Miss Green to carry him back to the common room. He'll be his usual self when he wakes." She turned to Evy and said "You do know a basic levitating charm, don't you? They usually teach it to first years. Levitate him close to you, so it can aid you in carrying him, then lay him on the sofa, or have a friend of his take him to his room. Thank you Miss Green," she said dismissing the student.

Stuffing the piece of parchment in the pocket of her robe, Evangeline listened as Cassandra spoke to Carracio. Safe sleep state? Carry him? It was then her eyes fell upon the sleeping boy ... a very, very young looking boy. Poor thing. He looked far too young to be even a firstie. She didn't remember being that small when she was a first year, but hey.

Her attention turned back to Cassandra when she spoke to her, and she couldn't help but to frown at her question. Of course she knew a levitation spell. With a nod in Cassandra's direction, letting her know she was how to levitate things, she pulled her wand out and pointed it at the boy, muttering the incantation under her breath. "Okay ... I got you." She mumbled to the sleeping boy as she levitated him close to her, one arm around him as the other held her wand to keep him up.

"Don't worry. I'll take care of him." She assured the Nurse and the Professor, smiling briefly at them. "And if there is any complication, I'll see him to the Hospital Wing myself." She couldn't let a little Slytherin walk around ill, could she? "Now, if you'll excuse me.." She said and turned around, the sleeping boy still levitating as she walked back towards the castle.

Theo's grip tightened around his Buzz Lightyear, as he snuggled it in his sleep. He murmured some more.

She nodded to the prefect and watched her go. She turned to Drago and smiled. "I'll check in on him tomorrow." She said not looking at him, he wasn't the same man she knew... "I can report back if you wish, just let me know." And she exited out of the office and headed back to the third floor.

Drago nodded to her, raising a brow at her curious behavior, but only closed the door and leaned against it with a heavy sigh. He made his way back to his desk and leaned back, unsure of what to do next.

Alex smiled and dropped his spell as he started speaking. "So let me get this straight. I should stay away from herbology this year. You 'happen' to meet Cassandra over the summer. She offers to 'heal' you. And then her wish is granted by getting her first choice of Hogwarts as an intern...Tell me what i might be thinking right now."

"My condition cannot be healed. As for her position here, between the sphinx, my daughter, and the recent concussion within my office, I have not gotten the chance to talk with the Headmistress about it. I am curious as to the reasons she was accepted here. However, apparently she has gotten herself in enough trouble by poisoning one of the other professors that she is rather probationary."

He leaned forward onto his desk. "However, getting to see my behavior amongst the staff seems to have rather disillusioned her. Her responses to me thus far makes me think that she has begun to regard me differently. And if it helps any, she is also probably rather angry that I had chided her while at the staff table, for in all these years she still has yet to learn a modicum of manners."

"She is not the most observant. And as for four or five years ago, I was also a different man. I have not been the same for the last three or so years, and certainly not since last year." He waved it off. "Ah well. It will mean that she is rarely by, if ever. I haven't even seen her in the staff lounge. And knowing her, she will simply avoid me because she does not know what to do. I have yet to see a situation similar in which she does not run from it."

"So far one has given himself a concussion on my door." He sighed. "And two others have developed a new interest in it after I attacked them with a devil's snare, a venomous tentacula, and Cassandra's Bocca di Salazar."

"We shall see what happens when class actually starts." He shook his head and thought a moment. He opened his desk drawer and took out two pins, both some sort of metal that gave the illusion of icy crystal. As he held them out towards Alex, he revealed their shape to be that of roses, much like the silver-blue one that was in his garden. "These are for you and Cassandra. She need not know that it is from me."
