Astrid just stared at Allie incredulously for a moment, unable to comprehend what she had just been told. She couldn't speak. She stood there replaying it her head, trying to make some sense of what Allie was saying.

Suddenly, painful realization dawned on her face and she felt her chest tighten with the weight of it. Her left hand dropped to her side and the licorice wands she had been holding fell to the floor. She didn't even seem to realize. She just blinked and whispered, "What?!!!" with that single word, came the first of her tears. "Our Anna?" she asked in disbelief. "And...... Nico?" she shook her head wishing away the thought.

She searched Allie's face for answers but none of them would matter now. She always knew that she was too young for him, but she never thought that ANNA would do this to her. She was supposed to be her friend. She loved her like a SISTER. Sisters did NOT do this to each other.

The tears were flowing with an uncontrollable force now though Astrid didn't bother wiping them away. She could think of only one thing left to ask. "When?" she whispered.

Kayla raised an eyebrow at the boy. "If you find the place so distasteful, then why are you here?" She had to admit that she didn't come here often either but there was nothing better than sugar to keep you from getting depressed.

"Oh sorry where are my manners. My name is Kayla by the way, it's nice to meet you..." she gave him a questioning look.

Walking into Honeydukes Ross picked the sweet aroma of sweets and chocolate. Once Ross had stopped sniffing the smell he looked around and noticed 3 familiar faces first lima whom had saved him from being "eaten" by Maddox a couple of days back then looking over to the next face he seen llie who had helped him in a way by causing him less embarrassment than he had already caused himself then looking over to the last face it was her the one that had caused him soo much pain yesterday wich helped him meet lauren who was a friendly 5th year who cheered him up and that was why he was in Honeydukes . to buy her a present to say thanks.

Allie just looked up at Astrid, and waited for her to take it all in.
"Yes, our Anna. And that Nico..."
She looked crushed...Allie knew that she had this crazy crush on Nico, but she never thought it would be this intense. And she hated that Slytherin for doing this to her best friend, it was all his fault, that she had to give Astrid the bad news, and the reason for the way AStrid was feeling right now.
As soon as the tears started falling, Allie rushed by her firends side and gave her a hug. "When?"
Allie tried to remember, but she wa having trouble, she was more concerend about her freind, than to think of how long ago this thing happened.
"A few days ago...Its gonna be fine.."
Allie looked up from her friend for only a second, when the girl talked to her, and confirmed it. She didn;t look that happy about it herself.
"I'm sorry." she said. "I'm guessing he hurt you, too? Well if it helps..I think your way to pretty for him anyways. You BOTH are."
"Even Anna." she thought, not wanting to say it outloud, conisidering it seemed like AStrid and the Hufflepuff probably didn't like her right now. But hopefully Anna wouls realize that on her own.

"Because sometimes life leads us to places we don't want to be." He murmered without thinking about it. Gosh Sam, you can be so deep sometimes. he thought sarcasticly, his eyes wandering around the very bright shop.

"Nice to meet you to Kayla, I'm Samuel, Samuel Ventimiglia." Why he gave her both names, he wasn't sure of, but he did it anyway... Just incase... Uhumm... Anyone needed to identify his body. Snort.

"You could say that" Kayla replied trying to keep the bitterness out of her voice. She gave the girl a surprised look at her comment. Kayla never saw herself that way and to hear it come from another girl, she wasn't sure what to say. "Well...um gee thanks" she looked at the other girl and gave her a sympathetic smile. "I'm sorry" that's about all she could think to say.


"Have to totally agree with you there" Kayla sighed. Ah...if only it were as simple as coming to a candy shop though.

She smiled at him. "Where do you originate from Sam, the surname is not very British" she watched as he looked around the shop. "Anything take your fancy yet?"

Astrid turned to look at the girl and fresh tears started to flow as she confirmed the devastating news. Seemed like there was no denying it. She tried to smile back at her, though sad eyes, but failed miserably and just put her head in her hands instead.
All that Astrid could do was hold on to Allie with all of her might. She started weeping again when Allie told her that it would be fine. She just shook her head and said, "No it won't..." then she whispered in her ear, "Take me outta here, Allie. Please."

"France." Was his simple response as she asked where he was from. Just the word made him pine for the country, then as she asked another question, his eyes caught onto another blonde figure, so instead of answering, he simply asked his new aquintance, "Is that Astrid Deschain, the one who's crying?" He'd met the girl a few times and got on very well... But it made him hurt a little seeing her cry.

Ross saw the tears that started to stream down astrids face and knowing he would feel guilty later he asked her "Hey are you ok in the most sympathetic voice he could muster which wasnt very good considering who it was.

Lima walked up to the girl as she really started crying. She knew that she had never met her before, but she felt so bad for her. Walking up to her she said, "are you okay?" in the kindest most caring voice that she could. She knew how it felt to have her heart broken and she was sad that it had happened to this young girl. And all 'cause of Mads' friend, Nico.

"Looks like you would rather be back there" Kayla observed. She looked back over to the younger girl and her expression softened. "I don't know her name, I've never met her before. She's just heard some upsetting news, apparently the guy she likes is going out with someone else" Kayla's voice caught slightly in her throat and she quickly cleared it. What she failed to mention to Sam, was that the boy in question happen to be her ex-boyfriend and that it pained her greatly to know that he was already off with another girl but she had done all the crying she was going to do about it.

"In time she'll get over it" she said that harsher than she intended it to but she was kind of speaking more about herself than anything.

"Okay, I will. Let me just pay for these because I already ate half of them, then we can go, okay?" said Allie. She let go of Astrid for a second, and went to pay for her chocolate frogs, and grabbed so other chocolate too. Chocolate helps make everyoen feel better.

Astrid looked at Ross and nodded. She couldn't speak, no matter how hard she tried. She just stood there and gave him a sad smile. She couldn't imagine why he was being so nice to her. He had been so upset the last time they spoke.
When she heard Maddox's girlfriend ask her if she was okay, she whispered, "Uh-huh!" and started to cry all over again.

Oh dear! She had to get out of here! Everyone was looking at her, she was making such a scene. This was something that she promised herself that she would NEVER do and she just KNEW that SHE was going to tell Maddox. Great! Heart shattered and embarrassed. All in the same day. she thought.

She wiped away the fresh tears and said, "I'll be fine." It was really nice of her to be concerned after all. And she didn't want her to be worried.

Astrid just waited for Allie with a vacant look in her eyes. The only thought going through her mind was where could they go? She didn't think she could face Anna right now and everywhere they managed to end up in the school, Anna was always right there. The Common Room was definitely out! Oh if only she could just find a little solitude with her best friend for an hour, 10 minutes even. She felt like her little heart couldn't take much else. She just kept seeing his face.....

Lima bit her lip when the girl said that she was okay. She knew that she wasn't really. Especially when she started crying all over again. Trying her best to be comforting she said, "I understand how you feel. And I'll be there to talk to you if you want to." Not the greatest comfort there since it was clear that the girl's best friend would be the biggest support for her. But Lima wanted to try. And she would be there to talk if the girl ever wanted to. As an afterthought she added, "my name's Lima, by the way." She smiled weakly.

Allie ran back to her, with her hands, full of sweets. She smiled at all the other people who came to comfort her. It was nice of them to care.
"Ok, lets go now." she said, and waited until she was ready to leave.

Ross was not sure why he was being nice to her but he couldnt not be nice to her she was just so great looking "Can we talk" He asked then he looked at all the other faces that were crowded in around her and spoke a little louder this time "Alone"

"Uhh, Ross, I don't think Astrid is in the right mood to talk right now." she said, still holding her crying friend.
"You guy's can talk later."
"C'mon Astrid, lets go get some hot chocolate. That always make syou feel better."
Then she left the candyshop, with Astrid by her side.

"I think she'd rather be just with her friend." Samuel replied, a little sour now towards the ignorant boy in question. He'd only been caught in this situation once, but it had hurt him like hell when he found out about the girl, and the boy had been his best friend, so it had felt much more like a betrayal than a heartbreaking experiance. Turning his eyes back to Kayla, he noticed something in her face/voice/manner. "Has he hurt you too?" He asked softly, trying not to appear intrusive.

Candy! Oooh, Miranda wasnt sure this was such a good idea, stepping inside the store. But my oh my, as soon as she opened the door, a sweet gust of candy scented wind made her lose all trail of thought.

First things first, she had to get some chocolate frogs. Miranda was all out of them, what with sharing with her team and all. Walking over to the shelves, Miranda grabbed two handfulls of the frogs. As she was about to walk toward the counter she stopped and looked around. No Miranda, no more candy! You got to buy the gloves! she told herself. Yeah she used to talk to herself like that, not sure it always worked but it did this time.

She took quick strides towards the counter and let the frogs fall from her grasps. Miranda took out her money pouch and handed over the money to the shopkeeper.

Xehanna walked in from the cold and wiped her feet off on the carpet. she saw all of the candy and huge smile lit her face. she walked around the store with her basket on her arm. she picked up 2 chocolate frogs, 3 fizzing wizbees, milk chocolate fudge and 4 blood pops. she walked towards the counter falling into the line. While she waited she searched out 21 sickles and a galleon.

Candy sounded good. He picked our some for himself, Yhen he got some for Jennamura and Isabella.

As she thanked the shopkeeper and stuffed all her chocolate in her robepockets, Miranda took one look back at the store and made herself get back to the door. Candy is highly dangerous... she thought and opened the door, stepping out into the cold.

Where to now? Walking down the path she remembered. Well she still needed those gloves...
