Rosa was concentrating to much on trying to hear what she needed to that she didn't feel when Kairi came close to her until she heard her voice. Thank goodness of the softness in her voice else it would have scared her. She smiled. "Um...maybe. Just trying to find a seat. Its so noisy in here that it makes it harder to hear Luna. Had to leave Star." |
Kairi nodded. "You're right, it is pretty loud in here. C'mon, my feet spotted an two empty seats on the Gryffindor table. The food here is amazing! You'll just love it, they've got anything a young kid could ever dream of," She pushed her fringe out of her eyes, then gently took Rosa's hand and lead her towards the empty seats. She sat down, and rubbed her eyes again. She could smell the food, she could taste the food, but she wanted to see the food. She sighed, and gently took Ukai out of her pocket. "There you go, hun," she said placing him on the table and feeding him a bit of chicken. Mitchi, her owl, was up in the girl's dormitories, waiting impatiently for her to come back. |
Nathaniel saw two girls he had met on separate occasions talking to each other. He saw Rosa only had Luna and wondered why the school didn't let her bring Star. He thought that was kinda dumb. She needed them. Why couldn't she have brought both. |

Glad as she was, Melly hardly noticed where she put her feet or where she was walking to. Actually, she wasn't even aware that she was moving. In fact, she only became aware of such a fact when her view of the walls and the starlit ceiling became blocked by... a wall? Blinking, the girl gave a couple steps back. No, it couldn't be a wall. A wall wouldn't just pop out of nowhere, would it? No, no, no. Magic could do a whole lot of things but popping walls was not one of them. Or was it? Well, either way, she was confident that whatever was in front of her was not a wall. And Merlin, was she right. Upon a second look, she became aware that what was in front of he was actually a rather tall boy. A boy with absurdly beautiful hair, mind you. And - wait a second! Had he just spoken? Most definitely! After all, no-one else around seemed to have pretty enough hair to fit such a voice. Oh, now she was curious, curious as to what his face would look like. If she was right, then he'd look very, very, very handsome. Why shouldn't he, anyway? He had pretty hair and a pretty voice. Besides, they were inside a fairytale castle and shouldn't every fairytale castle have a handsome boy in it? Too curious to stop herself, Mel gave a few more steps so that she was able to catch part of the boy's face. Merlin! She had been too right. That boy was... He was a prince! He was a gorgeous prince! Mouth opened, cheeks flushed, the girl simply stared at the boy in pure awe. |
"Alright," she replied, letting Kairi take her hand. Luna trotting along beside them knowing that when Kairi was there she didn't have to lead much. "I bet it is really good. Just smelling it makes my mouth water. Rosa carefully took the seat right beside Kairi. Her eyes looked down at the table without seeing what was there. This was going to be harder finding what she wanted. She of course could make out what everything was just by smelling it, but at home everything was set up where she knew what and where everything was located. Here everything was scattered. And Luna couldn't help because she didn't want her to have to get on the table. Rosa sighed. She hated trying to figure out what everything was especially around a lot of people. It always made her feel embarrassed. |
Kairi looked at Rosa. "I know," she said with a sigh. "You want to ask for help, but it's too embarrassing, I get that feeling a lot, don't worry," Kairi didn't know how she knew Rosa was thinking that, but she was thinking basically the same thing. It was embarrassing having to ask for help, you just want to be able to do everything yourself, with out any fuss, but that's almost impossible if you're blind. Kairi put her hand flat on the table, and took a deep breath. Millions of vibrations flew into her at the same time: people's feet, people talking, the crisps rattling in their bowl, the soft crunch as someone bit into their food. The vibrations were enough to make anyone shake, but her arm remained rigid and she soon located the food she wanted. She reached for a pile of chips and a chicken leg, and placed them on her plate, the rich smell flying up her nose. |
"Thanks MJ for getting Professor DuMont" Jason told her. "Thanks forhealing me Professor" Jason told him. " I will see the nurse, too" Jason said. Jason wonders why not one Gryffindor helped him. This is not the Gryffindors that his family, Harry, Ron, Hermoine, Orinda( whopos, not a Gryffindor) nor Hugo would accept the behavior of the Gryffindor students. " Hi, Hayden" Jason told her. |
Rosa turned to Kairi when she stated exactly what she had been thinking. Feeling as though the girl had been in her head. She heard about people that could read other people thoughts and things like that, but sure she was to young to have that ability. Having heard that it took years to learn how to do things like that. But then it hit her that Kairi might have been feeling the same way as her being blind and all. Rosa sighed again. Feeling Luna jump onto her lap and leaned up against the table so she could see. They did this a lot when Rosa was confused on what to grab or not, but it had always been her and Star helping. She would just have to make due with just Luna at the moment. Rosa moved her hand along the side of the dishes of food so not to accidentally put her hand in it and touched a plate of pork chops. Luna gave a low hiss and she let it go knowing instantly that it wasn't something she would eat. The process continued until Rosa had manage to get some potatoes, corn, rice, and green beans on her plate. Luna having hissed away all the meat dishes. |

Jason walked a little bit and got some bangers and mash. He sat back down quickly to eat it. " Yes, I will go to the nurse" Jason told Professor DuMont. Freya was right, MJ is so very nice but so was Freya to me, too. |
"Very good," Antonio said. "By the way, the new nurse trainee is at the staff table now, as a matter of fact, I believe you may know her. You remember Cassandra Trelawney, am I correct? She is better able to assist you with your back then I am, she has the training and experience that I lack. Why don't you check with her on this?" |
" I really need to sit here right now like you told me" Jason told Professor DuMont. " Like I said, I will go to the nurses office when school opens because I am sure Cassandra does not want to bother with me right now." Jason told the professor. |
"That's fine, just make sure that you do," Antonio said. "You don't want to risk any permanent problems with your back. Muggles have those all the time and though it isn't as common with wizards, it can happen." |
" Yea, my muggle side hurt but my blueblood part of my back- oh it hurt, too" Jason lasughed a little . talking to Professor DuMont. The professor forget that Jason told him he is half -Muggle. |
Allie walked through the people taking a seat at there tables. She looked at the first years and smiled. She remembered her first time in the hall.Scary!.She looked at the at the student and Professor talking and smiled politley at them. |
Gwen hurried into the Great Hall, a little late for the feast, and slowed down. She glanced around warily, torn between being glad to be back at Hogwarts, and wary of last term's repurcussions. If someone had told her a couple of years ago that Hogwarts would be split in two and trampled over by the Ministry, she'd have said they were poorly Confunded and to stop reading outlandish unauthorized Harry Potter biographies. Even so, the warm and inviting Great Hall, with the clear evening sky overhead, made her hopeful, and she couldn't help grinning. "Hi everyone," she said, clumsily taking a seat at the table. "I never realized how many boys Hogwarts has." |
Kairi smiled as Rosa got her food. "I think we're both pretty amazing," she said, picking up a chip and popping it into her mouth. "We both have are own way of seeing, you with Luna and Star, and me with seeing through the earth. I think it's pretty awesome, if you ask me," |
Allie looked to the side of her and smiled at the girl who had just come in and sat down. She nodded at her,"Hey.."she said with a soft smile.Make friends and keep them close, her mother had told her."Yeh,nor have I"she said, giggling at the comment."I havnt really looked to be honest with you...Im Alaina, but you can call me Allie"she said with a grin. |

Looking around Nathaniel hadn't realized that the school had so many kids attending. Maybe he really did have a chance at making some new friends after all. He took another bite of mashed potatoes and was lost in thought |
Seeing that Rosa was settle and safe Luna jumped down from her lap. And trotted off a short ways down under the table. Coming up at Nate's feet and rubbed against them meowing softly for his attention. |
Kairi nodded. "It would be a dream come true if I could see, but you are what you are, and no one can change that," She picked up another chip and put it in her mouth. "Reading? Oh, well...this may sound weird but...never mind." Kairi trailed off. She could read, but in a really weird way, it was like something falling up instead of down. |

Kairi looked at Rosa. "Ok, well..." She picked up another chip and put it slowly into her mouth, before continuing. "I can read because there is something letting me see the words on the paper," She paused, and looked around to check no one was listening. "It's like I look down and they're there, like misty floaty clouds in my mind, and there's something else. I've never told anyone else this before, but..." Kairi contemplated whether to tell Rosa or not. She had never told another soul what she was about to tell Rosa, was it worth the risk? "Before I tell you what I was going to tell you, you tell me how you read," she said, with a small smile. |
