To let her life and future into the hands of a hat was nervracking. Erica took up her place in the big procession as the doors to the great hall was opened. The number of students and professor's watching made her feel vulnerble and scared. As one of the professor's took out the big scroll of names she knew that she would be sorted among the first ones. Erica watched as her friend Lizzie was sorted into Gryffindor by the sorting hat. As the professor called out "Goldbloom, Erica!" she gulped. Taking a long breath she walked up to the sorting hat. The hat was placed on her head.Hmm. Interesting. I've sorted you're parents. Where to put you. Know i know. In the house of your father."GRYFFINDOR!!" Erica handed the hat to the professor and walked over to her new house. Seeing Lizzie already sitting down she walked over exclaiming "Lizzie! We got the same house!"Sitting down in the open seat she looked around the table saying "Umm, hi everyone! I'm Erica. Newly sorted first year gryffie." |

"I dunno," Gwen said honestly. "I mean, they can't all be bad. Then again, I've never had any sort of boy complex, so this very well could be a bad-boy complex! But you, my dear, definitely seem to have it! And why are you flipping your hair?" |

Astrid saw Barry peering at them out of the corner of his eye and decided that it was probably a good time to change the subject. She cleared her throat and lifted her eyebrows in his direction. It was amazing how well girls could communicate without ever speaking a word. "Well, I've always found a little flip of the hair to be terribly effective in the right situation." she said with a coy little grin. "I think that maybe we had better continue this conversation back in the dormitory though." she winked at Gwen and knew that would be a conversation held almost entirely in whispers. |

Her eyes scanned the staff table. "And Branxton's missing!" |

"What do you think is the biggest different from the muggle world and this?" She asked, now turned to Maggie again. Quote:

So Many Posts X_x "That's quite enough, Mr. Kururugi." The blond spoke, his blue eyes sharpening at him as to shut him up. "No need to argue now. Quite awful to start an argument on the first day of your stay here, correct?" Kingston then snorted and waved his hand at Mr. Weasley as the boy announced that he wouldn't speak to the both of them. "Very well, Mr. Weasley. Have it your way." He was assuming that this little talk between them was an argument? It was merely a suggestion! Kingston, as the oldest, had suggested to Mr. Weasley that he would be nice to little first years such as Mr. Kururugi. It seems as though the younger boy took his suggestion as an insult. Snort. People and their bloody assumption. The seventh year then turned his attention back to Mr. Kururugi, a sweet smile creeping on his lips. "Let me teach you a lesson, my dear boy. People should be nice no matter who they are speaking to. Even if it maybe the person they hate most. A person must keep his composure and act as the better man." Kingston informed the small boy, grinning. If Kingston had a chance to teach this little first year some manners, then he wouldn't mind the young boy tagging along through his last year. It would be quite interesting. The blond then heard another voice, making him turn around and see the other Mr. Weasley. He chuckled at what the boy did and shook his head in disappointment. "It is quite rude to point your finger at me, Mr. Weasley. And we weren't arguing. Just a mere suggestion, you see." He informed him, pocketing his hands and smiling. Kingston then looked down at the young girl (Lisa) who pointed to Mr. Weasley that pointing is quite rude. The boy smiled a little warmly at the girl's apology and shook his head. "It is nothing to worry about, my dear." He murmured, taking a step back to bow and introduce himself. "As Mr. Weasley had said, I am Kingston Wendleworth." He told her, rising from his bow. His blue eyes softened and a small smile crept on his lips. "And you are...?" |
Gwen watched Kingston talk with her mouth slightly open. When he smiled, a trickle of fear crept down her spine. A gentle tremor of foreboding. |

Then he turned to Jason "Come on Jason no arguing I`m sure it was a misunderstanding just carry on with your feast and if you can`t get along with Kingston don`t talk to him ok. My mother used to say If you don`t have anything nice to say don`t say anything." he then turned to Kingston once again "This is Astrid" |

Kairi sat in silence as Lizzie talked to Rosa and Shaylee, and then to a new girl who walked over. She wasn't really listening, but off in her own little world. Sighing, she stared down, and the misty-wolf stared back at her, its golden eyes glinted, and for one second, she thought they looked purple. She'd only told Rosa about the misty things she could see, but they creeped her out. She took a chip in her hand, and the misty-wolf whined longingly. She couldn't stop herself from smiling a little, and bending down to feed him it. He bit into it and the chip disappeared in a swirl of mist. The misty-wolf licked her hand, and they strangest sensation went through her. It was like being on fire, she wanted to scream, but couldn't. And then suddenly she was cold, like she'd been frozen for a thousand years. She coughed, and the sensation went away. She'd never touch him again, she promised herself. She sipped her pumpkin juice and stared blankly at her misty-wolf, once again, his golden eyes glinted and almost seemed purple. |

Livvy, bored, had left the Ravenclaw table and walked towards the Gryffindor table. She thought that it would be allowed. There were many non-Gryffindors there, so Livvy could only assume she wouldn't get in trouble. She spotted Kairi and grinned and scrambled towards her and sat down. "Hey Kairi," Livvy said cheerfully, but then noticed that something seemed to be wrong with the girl. |

Daphne let out a deep breath, one hand flying up to run down the side of her face as if that would wash the stress away. Her thoughts about consuming a buttered dinner roll or two were blown away the appearance of even more students. Jason's misunderstanding kept escalating now passing to another student who kept mentioning something about an argument and then a fight. Daphne shook her head sternly. "There was never an argument not to mention a fight," she corrected, wondering how some could forget to be careful of their words they chose when speaking. Sure, there was a difference of opinions happening but it was hardly an argument. "Jason is just simply misunderstanding a lot of us." Reaching up, she patted Raiden's hand softly with a smile. "It's okay Rai," she whispered, turning her head slightly hoping to spot either Davis, her butler, or a wicked familiar face that could save her from so many unpleasant topics. Hopefully her time at Hogwarts wouldn't be like this all the time. "By the way," interrupted the 12 year old well aware that she had been already introduced. "My name is Daphne Hopton. Nice to meet you." |
Anna finally returned to her own house table after making the rounds and visiting her friends from other houses. It did feel a little odd to not see people like Mia, Tanc, or the other now-graduated students, but Anna would get used to it the same way she'd gotten used to it in all the years past. Besides, she knew they were probably off doing something really daring and exciting now that they'd graduated Hogwarts. Anna took her same seat next to Cale and then made some sort of attempt to get back into the flow of conversation. Quote:
"Cale and I were just talking about ways to promote unity with all Gryffindors," Anna explained. "You know, maybe have a Gobstones tournament or study groups in the Common Room. Do you have any other ideas about what we could do to get everyone together and having a good time in the Common Room?" Quote:
Anna examined the party hats Barry had showed her. "Hmm," she said, thinking about any good spells she may know to help Barry. "Ah, that's it!" she exclaimed. She performed a quick spell and then handed the hats back to Barry. "And, there you have it! Hogwarts party hats!" |
A girl snuck up to the broad Gryffingdor table. She closed her eyes and threw a plate of food. It hit some one at the Gryffingdor table. Hannah stood up and yelled "FOOD FIGHT!!!!!!!!!"She picked up some borcilli and threw it as she ducked under the table. |

"Barry, you were not here to start with so stop taking sided or you will be no longer a cousin of mine" Jason reprimanded him. "Sorry Barry, I am just upset you did not look at both sides as usual" Jason said." Thanks for calling me mean/ nasty Gwen" Jason told her. " Do you know what is happenning- I do not think so and yet when I say hello to you. tell you that you are one of the good Quidditch players on the team, you decide not to say anything nice to me" Jason told her. "Anna, I really, really neeed to talk to you and of course Cale by himself" Jason tells her. " This is really getting out of hands and if they want to hurt my feelings, everyone did- I understand Slytherins being themselves because they do not like Gryffindors at times. I am not happy with Gryffindors going against me, I do not want any part of this house" Jason said to Anna and Cale. " Look, I have plenty of history at HogWarts through my family, not mention they are alumni but they would not stand for our family or Gryffindor housemates act bad towards each other. |
Barry said "Jason when did I say I was taking sides? I was giving you advise which might be useful now why don`t you tell me what happened?" said Barry "Jason you can`t keep on useing our family history as a way of backing up your points. They were great in there day but there not here now so it is time to make decisions for ourselves without useing the past is that ok jason?" |
Quote:
"Uhh..nope, none at all!" said Allie. "But those study groups, and gobstones tournaments sound fun! Ive never played Gobstones before." she said, trying to move the conversation to a differnent subject...a safer one. |

" I make my own decisions Barry, I am just telling you HogWarts was better back then when the family went here" Jason told him. "If you want to know the truth, I said hello, , one of the girls Bree got mad at me, then my back started hurting really bad and the ones that argued with me were mad because I said OW!!" OW"" Jason told him. "It is like they never been hurt before and then they think I am dramatic because of being hurt but I was not" Jason explained to Barry. " I am also vey hurt because a lot of the Gryffindors decided to jump on me( arguing) which would never had happened in the old days" Jason told Barry. " I talked to Anna and Cale, they agree with me on this- thewre is no repect given to the older students here anymore" Jason said. "Can you believe thay said I had no friends or could not make any?" Jason told Barry. " I have more freinds and family here than probably anyone - well, maybe you rival me, so does Anna" Jason said to Barry. Jason was shocked when Astrid went against him. he treid to help her all last year. They had been friends all last term. Gwen was not really mean to him last year, Jason does not understand. By the way, I am confused" Jason told Anna and Cale. |
