Whitney raised her eyebrows in surprise. 'Wow. I was right.' "Good job! I guess two times the charm" Oh jeez, now it was her turn, she really didn't want to mess up. "I suppose it's my turn huh? Okay here goes nothing." she said nervously. Whitney turned to the other red ear and began. She did the proper wand movements and said "Auris" without looking. She than peeked. "Did it work?"

"Wow! greatjob whitney!" Megan said smileing at the color of the ear "your quite a little witch" She added with a smile

The ear turned completely green! "Thanks! Who knew right? Shall we move on to the scratches?" Whitney really was surprised. This wasn't the first time she'd gotten something pretty perfect on the first try. The same thing had happened while she was in Transfiguration. Even the one of the seventh years hadn't gotten it. 'Am I really that good?' she thought than turned her attention back to Megan.

"Ok!" Megan said looking at the scratch "here goes nothing.....Erasum" She move her wand up down up down and than flicked it. "Wow it worked!" she said happily looking at the patch of green

"Awesome! We have to be the best team here." she said laughing. Her turn. Whitney moved her wand up,down,up,down and flicked it. The red area stayed red for about half a minute than turned a bright green. "Yay! We are too good."

Megan laugh "We are!"she said "Now the final test the shoulder." She added aproaching it " Here we go...Resarcio!" she said slowly bring her wand down then flicking it up she heard a satisfieing pop as the sholder turned green and slide back into place. "Wonderful now our little masters turn!" She said with a smile

Raiden watched the demonstrations with a bit of horror written on his face... Thank goodness she hadn't pointed at him. But then again... Miss Healer Intern Lady Trelawney wouldn't have pointed at him... If she had surprised him with that last one, there was no telling what he might've done. Still... he wished he could have at least been one example, if only for the points.

When she said about pairing up, Raiden looked around, and then at Nicholai. He was here... So maybe...

"Nicholai Toussaint, would you please be my partner? If you've not already got one, that is..." he bit his lip. Who would he partner with if Nicholai Toussaint already had a partner for Charms??

"Amazing! Now, now call me Miss Master." After she'd said she thought it sounded rather weird. 'It'll be a little sad if I mess up on the last one.' she thought still nervous for some reason. She did the proper hand movements and just when she was going to say the incantation, her mind went blank. "I'm sorry. I've forgotten the incantation. How weird." She looked down at her notes to make sure she knew the right words and hand movements. "Let me try again. Sorry." She brought her wand down and flicked it up while saying, "Resarcio" and the red automatically turned to green. "At least I made up for my lost of words. Now what do we do?" she asked Megan seriously.

Megan smiled as whitney stumbled but recovered she was such a good witch "Good job!!.... I don't know let me ask." She said before turning to the proffesor "We finished now what do we do? "She asked her politly

"Ok, sure," Cale said, walking up to the dummy and pulling out his wand. He moved his wand around clockwise, and then repeated that moment, pulling back at the last moment. "Auris!" he muttered, checking the dummy to see if it had turned green. It did, so that meant all the ear infections were cleared up.

"All done...let's move on to the scratches," he suggested. He stood back to allow Anna a chance to do the next spell. "Poor fellow, he's been through a lot!"

"You are going very well," she said to the ones practicing.

ooc: This class will stay open untill 11:59pm today 11/30/08 for you to post. You WILL get credit for participation, I just won't post it in the class. I will assign homework tomorrow.

Melony was watching the others practice. She decided to practice other, simpler spells to get warmed up. "Wingardium Leviosa" she said pointing to her back which floated over to her, "Accio book" she said pointing to her books. And for good measure she said,"Alohamora" opening the lock on her journal. She smiled to herself. Charms had always been her favorite subject. After regarding her journal, she began to work on what everyone else was working on.

"Nice job, Newell," Anna said, looking up at him and smiling when the dummy turned green. Anna had to fight the urge to laugh a little when Cale joked about the poor guy having been through a lot. No way was she going to laugh in this class. She'd nearly lost points the last time! "Okay," Anna agreed. "Moving on to these scratches..."

Anna pointed her wand at the bottom of the scratch. Her wand followed the scratch in a zig-zag motion, moving up and down until it was time to finally flick. "Erasum!" Anna said, watching the first scratch disappear.

"What in Hades name are you doing?" Cassandra said looking at the Hufflepuff. "Did I tell you to do those charms? I believe I gave you your task... can you tell me why you are practicing every spell but the ones assigned?" She asked the Hufflepuff. Cassandra wasn't one to be trifled with.

Megan saw Melony getting in trouble and hurried to help her "Ms. Trelawney she was just warming up she hasn't been able to do magic for along time" She tried to explain not really seeing why that would be wrong "But she starting on the others now!" She said looking meaningfully at Melony

"Oh!" Melony said startled. She hadn't meant any harm what so ever. She was one of those over achievers and being in trouble scared her." I'm sorry Ma'm. I truly am. I haven't been at Hogwarts for nearly a year due to certain reasons. I was trying to warm up so as to not cause any harm or misdo a spell. I sincerly apologize." Melony's eyes were sparkling with possible tears. She didn't want to upset the professor in her best and favorite class. " It won't happpen again," Melony promised. Melony's eyes tried to convey how sorry she really was. She seriously hoped that the professor would forgive her. She looked back at Megan. That was really nice of her to stand up for me, Melony thought. "Thank you" Melony whispered to Megan who was right beside her.

Kayden took a deep breath, she had been quiet in the back the entire time, looking at the dummy in front of her, she pushed her fiery red hair back and drew her wand, moving swiftly through she air, she said in a shy tone,"Auris!" Starring at the dummy, it turned a pale shade of green, which made her raise her eyebrow but continue on.
When the dummy returned to it's average color, She glanced at the neatly sprawled notes in her book. Her hand went lightly through the air as she spoke again,"Erasum." Every scratch on the dummy quickly faded, making her almost jump. Shaking it off once more, she looked carefully at the dummy. How in the world could she do a Resarcio on a dummy? It had no bones!
No matter, KC took a step back and did it anyway, her hand raised and she muttered,"Resarcio."

Cassandra's head spun quickly and she glared at the other Hufflepuff. "She has a mouth, she can speak for herself." She spat at her. "Speak out of turn again, and I mean without raising your hand, and I'm taking off points." She hissed. "Have I made myself clear?"

Cassandra narrowed her eyes at the girl and she gave a sigh. "Next time warm up before class... This classroom isn't for warming up..." She decided to let that go... once. She sat in her chair and imagined herself with murderous high heeled boots. She smirked.

Megan shook her head but didn't persue it father instead she politly asked (After raiseing her hand) "If we are done may we leave?" then quickly bit her tongue before her thoughts spilled out as well

"Not until I assign homework." Cassandra said.

Megan put on her best smile and replied "Yes mama" THen sat down and stared at the teacher trying to hide her impatience

"Yes,Ma'm.It will never happen again." Melony sighed with relief. She turned from the professor. "Megan..." She was at a loss for words. Megan had stood up for her and got herself in trouble in the process. That was extremly nice. "Thank you so much for sticking up for me!" Melony smiled a grateful smile to her friend, at least she hoped they were friends.

After listening to what had been going on between Trelawney,Megan and another Huffie, Whitney heard what Megan had just asked the professor. 'Oh dear God. Did she really just ask that?' She could only imagine what was going on in that girls head. Whitney kept her head down, looking through notes, and glanced at Megan, than Professor Trelawney. She didn't look happy.

Than she heard the teachers reply. Nothing bad. Whitney got up and walked over to where Megan and the other Hufflepuff was. She looked around, than pulled a chair towards the desk, sat down, and waited.

Kayden tried the spells once more, flying through them again. Sitting down, she scribbled a few more notes in her book, mainly on techniques to make the spell more fluent and easier done, and sat back. Pushing her book closed, she sat patiently until the professor would give homework out.

Megan smiled at both girls. letting Melony know it was fine. And trying to tell Whitney not to worry. She wasperfectly fine..for now if the class dragged on to much longer though....
