"Tergeo," Usagi said simply to dry Christine off. She saw Cale and Nico perfomed this spell in class, there is no reason not to try it. "Impressive. I tried this many times, in order to get revenge from what my friends did. In the summer vacation, I was bombed with countless water balloons. There is no other word to describe this: Payback." She was rather proud with herself for quoting some part of the Camp Rock script. "Nice to meet you, Christine. I'm Usagi Ginno, second year Gryffindor."

Mari rolled her eyes a little and laughed. " You might say he sounds too good to be true, but trust me boys like that do exist." She said, quietly enough that only Asteira could hear her. " And you're welcome, for the shower that is." She said, smiling a bit more widely now. " Well, yes and don't forget, we were only supposed to do ten seconds, so I passed. Kind of." She watched as Asteira dried herself off and then she sighed a bit with resignation as the other girl readied herself to perform the same charm. Now, Mari would have liked to do the same thing, but she would also rather stay dry. That, and she didn't have anything on Asteira, so she couldn't say anything to bother her.

Mari stood before her desk, waiting for Asteira to have a go at the levitation charm when she looked over her shoulder. Of course, Nico wouldn't have any trouble with this charm, she thought dryly. She was learning he was good at practically everything, even things he said he wasn't good at. Then he looked at her and smiled, and curse it all, it was one of those days where she liked him more than usual. She smiled back, and then his balloon caught a corner and burst. Despite everything, that actually made Mari feel better. She turned around and looked back to Asteira, a little smile on her face still.

"It still hurts really badly."Nathaniel said looking down at his leg. "The healer said if it wasn't better in a week to go back to her." he said to the girl. "I'd much rather have a muggle doctor fix it." he said in a low whisper. "Hey do you have a partner?"

Miranda smiled sheepishly, she heard from Nancy's tone that she was kidding and was instantly comforted that she hadnt been angry. ''[b][i]Mind if i try again? I promise to try not to drop it...and if i do ill smack the balloon on my face myself!'' she grinned

"Oh, I think I let you try again just to see you smashing the balloon into your face." Nancy chuckled and looked expectantly at Miranda. Well, at least this older looking girl was nearby to help them become dry again.

Miranda laughed at what Nancy had said.
She said ''Ok'' and once again pointed the wand, said the incantation and saw the balloon float. This time it didnt move to the sides as much which she took a mental note to grin at that afterwards.

Now it was directly above Nancys head. Miranda gulped and started to count
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 hey it smells like pancakes in here- NO concentrate! 8, 9, 10!
Miranda made the balloon float down and it bobbed onto the desk Wohooo! she cheered grinning

''Want to give it another go? '' She asked Nancy giddy almost bouncing on her feet with how well it went

Watching people pair up around her to practice the Levitating Charm, Natka sighed and picked out a lilac balloon. She hadn't managed to catch anyone's eye yet, and consequently was without a partner for the moment.

Making her way over back to her desk where she had left her bag, she placed the balloon carefully on the wooden surface and reached for her wand, which was sticking out of her book-filled bag. Brandishing it with a slight frown and worried expression, she stared at the balloon.

"Right," the girl muttered to herself. "You can do this, come one now..."

And so trying to boost her confidence, she whispered the spell and pointed her wand at the balloon, hoping against hope that it would lift into the air as she so badly wanted it to. The water-filled object, however, seemed to have other ideas, and reacted only by rolling across the desk and almost falling off it.

That didn't go well at all, Natka sighed, but almost smiled nevertheless. Whether or not she was successful at her first attempt was not important; what was, though, was that she was finally learning to control the magic within her!

Determined to get the charm right, she stared hard at the smooth, lilac surface and waved her wand again.

"Oh, it's a shame that you didn't smash the balloon into your face, though. I really would have liked to see that." Nancy said teasingly and chuckled but was kind of glad that she'd stayed dry during the last 10 seconds.

Glancing around at the other students who were all still practicing she nodded and said. "Sure, I guess. For how long do we have to do this?" Well, rather stupid question, probably until the professor would tell them to stop.

Jenn smiled. "Your welcome!"Jenn said, also lowering her balloon.

Jenn frowned. "I'm sorry."Jenn said hugging her. "I'll try and partner with you next time."Jenn said still hugging her. She felt bad now.

Jenn watched as Sarah tried and succeeded. "That was good! Maybe try to flick your wand a bit more to make it better?"Jenn suggestied.

Jenn smiled as Mariel asked Sarah if they wanted to be partners. "Hi Mariel!" Jenn said happily.

"Hmmm...i dont know how long we are supposed to practice the charm" she said looking around the classroom for the teacher "I hope she doesnt make us practice hoovering the balloon above her head" she chuckled

Chad finished jotting down a few more notes concerning the Levitation Charm and pulled his wand out from inside the pocket of his robes, the Ravenclaw took a deep breath and murmered the incantation under his breath.

"Wingardium Leviosa!," He said, and with the appropriate hand motions, made his balloon.... pop? Chad coughed slightly as he pulled a peice of the bright pink balloon out of his mouth and glared at the broken elastic pieces and quickly repaired it before the Professor could see it.

The Ravenclaw licked his lips and steadied himself, normally he was pretty good at Charms. But, for some reason today he was having a hard time with focusing just on the task at hand,

"Focus Mondai, just focus," Chad muttered, he cracked his fingers and then tried again. This time focusing as much as possible on the Charm and smiled happily as the pink balloon floated into the air.

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 Chad counted in his head as the pink ball of air levitated before him. The young man grinned madly and went at it again and again. Each time making it levitate higher and higher away from him.

Chad ruffled his blond hair in rueful satisfaction and gently let the balloon down infront of him.

Giggling Nancy replied. "You don't?! But this would be the perfect excuse! You could always pretend that it had been an accident!" She smirked at Miranda.

"Okay, do you want to go again or should I?" She gestured at the balloons on the desk in front of them. Right now she really hoped that she could drop them right on Nick's head for just disappearing like that. Especially since he had disappeared with her newly-bought broom!

Looking around for something to distract her she spotted a boy about her age who had just let his balloon pop. Giggling at this accident she turned back to Miranda nodding in the direction of the boy.

"No, I don't. We can partner up if you'd like to though." Freya said calmly. At least she would pair up with someone she knew.


Freya caught the conversation in one ear, she gave Nathaniel a small wave, "Hey, welcome to the class, I didn't see you until just now. Having fun yet?" She added in a very low voice, "Muggle techniques?! Are you insane? Personally I wouldn't let them near me, but if that's what you prefer, so be it." Freya said a little surprised. Why some witches and wizards would choose to be subjected to muggle treatment, she would never know.

Miranda noticed the nod Nancy had given her, looking around she saw the boy and his popped balloon. Miranda sniggered looking at Nancy, remembering her own incident from before. She looked in an approving sort of way that the rawenclaw had done it pretty well his second try.

"You go ahead if you want" she smiled, she felt to giddy at the moment and wasnt sure she could concentrate enough, this was too much fun! She grinned at Nancy


OOC: erm sorry if i make no sense at times, my english gets wonky suddenly

Chad had already finished practicng, and was now glanceing around the Classroom with couriosity. There were plenty of Charms textbooks on the shelves and the room was bright and welcoming,

And then quite suddenly Chad realized to his surprise and emmbaresment that everyone else had grouped into pairs, what didn't he remember the students being instructed to form pairs?

Chad then looked hastilly to his notes and saw to his horror that raher then hearing the command and complieing to it, he had written it down and not paid it any mind whatsoever.

The Ravenclaw looked far to his left and noticed a Ravenclaw girl a year or so younger then himself sitting and trying vailently to lift her lilac colored balloon, and Chad was happy to see that she didn't have a partner as well!

Chad walked over to the young lady with a kind smile on his attractive features.

"Hi," The blonde boy said, as he took a sit next to the young girl. He smiled brightly and innocently at her before saying, "I see you don't have a partner and since I don't ether, I was wondering if you'd like to team up with me?"

With one last glance at the Ravenclaw boy Nancy turned back to Miranda. He was quite good-looking, though. Oh, but he was a Ravenclaw. And they reminded her too much of Nick and his sort-of-betrayal right now. Okay, focus, she told herself.

Concentrating on the purple balloon she gripped her wand firmer and said, "Wingardium Leviosa" Watching the balloon go further up into the air she directed it so that it was flying towards Miranda's face at a pretty high speed.

Just before it touched Miranda's nose Nancy redirected the balloon so it was no hanging over her head. Nancy chuckled, she was getting better and better at this. After counting to ten in her head she let her the balloon gently float onto the desk again. She smirked at Miranda.

Turning back to look at Nancy, she saw how the balloon rose up and it was all good until it was heading for her Eeek! Miranda was about to make a run for it but before she could the balloon stopped almost touching her nose. Mirandas eyes widened as Nancy made the balloon land softly on the desk.

After a seconds silence and heavy breathing she said ''Oh youre good'' she said nodding and smiled

Natka turned around to face the owner of the voice that had just spoken, the expression of concentration on her face giving way to one of surprise. She found herself face to face with a handsome blonde, a year or two older than herself.

"Uh, sure," she replied, with a shy smile. "I'm Natka, by the way," she extended her hand.

Finally somebody new to talk to, she thought to herself with a smile. I just hope that I won't completely humiliate myself by not being able to perform a simple levitating charm... I bet this boy can do it easily...

Nancy's smirk grew wider as she saw the shocked expression on Miranda's face. "Sorry, I couldn't resist." She chuckled, leaving out that part about not being completely sure if she would be able to stop the balloon to keep it from splashing into her face. Well, it worked out, right?
Bowing at the nonexistent audience she murmured. "Thank you, thank you." Turning back to Miranda Nancy said with a smile. "Okay, your turn."

UGH. She just didn't give up, did she? LOSERFACE. Stealing her partner.

"No, Kovac, I asked him first....he can always choose, of course, but really, the sooner you leave us alone, Kovac, the sooner we can finish the assignment."

She smirked at Willow and tugged Tino's arm a little harder.

MOTHER OF MERLIN! This had to be the worst series of events ever - here was Book Boy, trying to budge in. Ugh. Surely he was a Slytherin just wearing Hufflepuff robes....he couldn't really belong in Rapunzel's house, the best house ever....not with that attitude.

"How about you just sit down and mind your own business or go work with Kovac," Rapunzel muttered at him, her jaw clenched. Oh wait...if he worked with us...I might get to drop a water balloon or two on his head....

Naw, it wasn't worth the headache. Punz would just have to get her revenge on him some other way.


And somebody else was budging in? Ay yi yi...Rapunzel really was going to get a headache now. "Hi," she said, turning to smile at the younger girl in a somewhat friendly manner. "Why don't you work with that boy," she said, nodding in Dominic's direction. Yes! Pawn him off on another girl, mwahahahaha.

Ah, Ella - such a good friend. "Yes, Ella!" she winked at her friend. "Maybe we should just start levitating balloons and then we'll figure out whose partner is whose once everyone's soaking wet...."

She smirked to herself and pointed her wand at one of the balloons sitting on Tino's desk. "Wingardium Leviosa!"

The balloons lifted into the air, hovering in the middle of the whole group, as Punz tried to decide which of her enemies she would like to soak first.....

...and without her really thinking about it, the balloons started hovering towards Dominic Denton until they were halfway between his shoulders and Willow Kovac's dark head....

Gah. First Nico held the balloon over her head and then Evolette. She was relieved when neither of them dropped the balloon on her head. Oh, she had hit the jack-pot in terms of partners who would drop wet, rubber, splashy things on her head.

So. They'd all mastered the spell. No surprise. They were brilliant. Nico had even done it non verbally. Show-off. She turned to Nico and Evolette. "So. Are we supposed to do it again. I mean, we all did it perfectly so I doubt we need the practice."

Miranda shook her head and smiled at her partners jest.

''Wingardium Leviosaaaaaa!'' Miranda exaggerated holding her wand as the balloon made its way up. Feeling a bit bored she thought about dropping the balloon somewhere, by accident. She let the balloon float down again resting it on the table.
She cocked her eyebrow at Nancy looking around conspirational.

Grinning at Miranda's exaggeration she watched her do the spell without any problems. Noticing her glance Nancy immediately started to smirk. "I'm shocked. With thoughts like these, at least I think I can guess what you were thinking, you should definitely be in Slytherin!" She chuckled. "So, anyone around you don't like?" She whispered with a grin.

Squinting around the room she said "hmmm, no" she pouted "I dont know anyone in here enough to chuck a waterballoon at them" she whispered the last part.
"How about you?" she asked eyes wide, a smile appearing

Also glancing around the classroom Nancy spotted only a few people she knew none of which she would like to drop a waterballoon on. Shaking her head she said, No, me neither. The only one I would like to drop one on unfortunately, or fortunately for him, isn't here." Well, he probably wasn't even at Hogwarts, she added in her thoughts.
