Ebony doodled as she waited for the demonstration to begin, her eyes flicking more often to the front of the class, than to her parchment.

Evolette looked innocently back at Nico and smiled. She knew what he was thinking, but she had not talked to him about anything yet, so she wasn't going to let anything slip out. Her lips were sealed.

She narrowed her eyes at the front of the classroom and smirked again, ready to see Anna's hair get all messed up. Bwahaa.

Livvy watched the two curiously. By now, she'd learned that the girl was Anna and the boy was Cale. And it seemed like Anna wanted to wickedly drown Cale and Cale's feeling nervous. Livvy was intrigued, but moved back. She had a feeling Anna was gonna drop it on Cale's head and somehow it'd just explode all over the place.Silly, she told herself.

Isabella didn't know what was going on between Cale and Anna but obviously there was tension seeing as how he looked very nervous about this arrangement. She was beginning to wish she had sat a bit farther back.

Mariska had to smile. It was obvious what was going to happen. Either Anna was going to drench Cale, or Cale was going to drench Anna. Either way she'd be entertained, but she couldn't help but wish for Anna to one up Cale. He had seemed so uptight when she had met him on the train. Perhaps this would loosen him up.

Uh oh. First?!?! A small part of Anna was still a little on the shy side to get up in front of the class and do demonstrations of the sort. What if she messed up? Ahhh, no time to worry about those sorts of things at the moment. This was a crucial time. Should she, or shouldn't she?

She closed her eyes for a split second and saw flashes of memories before her very eyes. The first time she met him in Diagon Alley, seeing him for the first time in Hogsmeade after being separated from him at two different schools, the time he wrote her that little letter that said, "Will you be my girlfriend? Check one option." (and the only two options were "yes" and "yes"). Then there was that very first kiss at Madame Puddifoot's. When she felt her eyes begin to form tiny tears, she opened her eyes and blinked a few times. No matter what, she couldn't intentionally embarrass him in front of all of Hogwarts.

She couldn't. She wouldn't.

She took a deep breath and called out, "Wingardium Leviosa!" She watched as the balloon slowly made its way in the air, and she directed it into a position right above Cale's head. She gulped and fought the urge to look into Cale's eyes and try and figure out what he was thinking. When the balloon was in the correction position, Anna began to count....the ten things she hated about him.

1...Paul Kutcher...what a loser.

*gulp*

2...Egomaniac...

3...You called me bossy...

4...Nicholai Toussaint...maybe he was right after all.

5...Seth Paton...you hate him for no reason...meanie.

*sigh*

6...You did still get me an amazing birthday gift...

7...But you wouldn't even speak to me at my party....

8. You moved on WAY too quickly...

SPLASH.

Well, she almost got to ten. Her wand dropped to her side and her mouth fell open as she watched the water trickle all the way down Cale's body. "Oh my...CALE! I'm so.....sorry," she said, mumbling the last word. "Professor, may I please try again?"

Livvy watched sadly as Anna performed the charm. She seemed so sad and depressed. Livvy wondered what Anna was thinking. But then down went the water balloon and in a moment Cale was soaked.

Mariska gave an audible little gasp as Anna let Cale have it. At first she hadn't been sure that the Prefect would do it...but she did it. Mari then coughed a little to hide her laughter, and she watched as Cale dripped on the floor.

Miranda's jaw really dropped to the floor as she saw what happened. Merlin that was...shocking, but fun! she pressed her lips together to not smile or laugh out loud im so glad im not Cale right now she put a hand to her mouth

For a very small, split second, Cale was certain that Anna wouldn't do it. She would genuinely TRY to complete the spell without drenching Cale to the bone. And then, just as he had been certain he was in the clear, the balloon fell with a SPLAT on his head.

He blinked as ice cold water flooded down his face, soaking his curly hair, his sideburns, and even a bit of the front of his robes. He jumped back and wiped it off his face before turning and glaring at her. Was he REALLY supposed to believe that was an accident? He kept his mouth shut and tried not to let any emotion show on his face.

Merlin help him if she drenched him another time. Part of him was very tempted to take the balloon in front of him and just chuck it at her right now. But that wouldn't be very nice. Especially since she was girl, and he was a strong, muscular, larger guy.

"Wait, when do I get MY turn?" he asked, frowning and looking at the professor with a confused expression. She really wasn't going to let this happen again, was she? He wasn't sure how he felt about this professor--she seemed to take amusement out of watching her students torment each other.

Isabella gave a small gasp as the young man was drenched. Anna had looked in control of it but then it seemed as though it had been too much for her. Isabella was fairly positive that the girl hadn't meant to drop the balloon because rather than looking at Cale with a smirk she looked sad and if she wasn't mistaken, it looked like there were even tears in her eyes.

Raiden's jaw dropped. She'd... she'd actually... He hadn't thought that she would! And there Cale stood, soaking wet... Poor Cale. And poor Anna. Raiden only hoped that Cale was nice enough to not retaliate, but... they were rather bitter toward each other.

"Oh Anna Greingoth," he murmured sadly, the words nothing more than a small woosh of air coming out of his mouth. He slumped a bit in his chair. "Poor Cale..."

Evolette dropped her head into her hands as she watched the balloon come in contact with Cale's head, and his poor hair. She had actually liked his hair today, and now it was drenched.

Propping her chin in her hand, she continued to watch, waiting for Cale's turn, and his revenge. Hehe.

Allie let out a giggle, but quickly covered it with a cough.
"GO ANNA!" she thought, even though she was't taking sides in this break-up. Even thought she couldn't help being a little biased with Anna, after all, she really did know her better than Cale, since the schools were seperated last year.
But, over all, she was not taking sides.

It was all he could do NOT to break into a round of applause. Cale made a good drowned rat. He had caught a flicker of anguish on Anna's face and that concerned him- but that innocent expression on her face after she'd dropped the balloon was priceless even if it was genuine. And Cale?

Nicholai managed to hold himself back from laughing at Cale's hair, settling for a smirk in his direction instead as he took in the damage such a small amount of water had done. Of course Cale had a lot of pride and he wouldn't let it go.

Nicholai shot a comforting smile at Kitten before resuming his smirking in Cale's direction.

Callie bit down on her lip hard, trying not to show anything remotely close to laughing. For some reason she almost expected this from Anna, seeing as she hadn't been herself lately, but she was hoping that having her in front of the class demonstrating this charm would give her a boost of confidence. Apparently not.

"Poor Cale," Callie thought to herself, trying even harder not to laugh.

Clearing her throat, and straightening her face, Callie went over to Anna and gently touched her shoulder. "It's ok. That was really close. You have to concentrate. Of course you can give it another go?' Callie said, although she not sure what to expect the second time around, but she had to give Anna that second chance to prove herself.

Before she let Anna attempt it again, Callie turned towards the class, "Well at least you were all warned by this demonstration what could happen if you fail to concentrate. Perhaps you should all be thinking about this as Anna attempts it again."

Callie turned back towards Cale. "Of course you'll get your turn next. You're not going to retaliate I hope. It was an honest lack of concentration I'm sure. Anna's had a lot on her mind lately. Give her another chance, won't you? It's just a little water, after all." Callie smirked.

Livvy glanced at the boy that was murmuring the names of the two. Then she glanced back at the two. By the look of Anna's face, it didn't seem to be on purpose. She really did seem like she was sorry, but Cale didn't seem to believe it. Livvy sighed and shook her head. Poor Anna... Poor Cale..

''hope this doesnt get ugly...'' Miranda mumbled to no one in particular its always fun to see this happening to other people she smirked

Anna heard the professor speaking, but she didn't dare look up at her. Not now, and possibly not ever. She'd probably never call on Anna to do another demonstration again. Anna just nodded when the professor told her to give it another go. She almost wasn't sure if she still wanted to do it again. She sighed, deciding that since she was in fact in front of the class, she better go ahead and make a move.

"I really am sorry Cale," she whispered, not even sure if he could hear her or not. "Wingardium Leviosa!" She watched as another balloon made its way over Cale's head, and she then began to count.

"1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9....and....10," she said to herself. When she got all the way done, she moved her wand to direct the balloon away from his head, and then she grabbed it and placed it safely back on the table.

"I did it!" she said, smiling at the professor. "Your turn, Cale!"

Asteira watched as anna levitated it over cale's head for quite awhile. She frowned as it seemed no one was going to get wet. what a disappointment. what sort of demonstration was it if no one got wet. Gesh. Asteira let out a small sigh as a few seconds still passed and nothing. FINALLY. you heard a splash as the water balloon made contact with the boy's head. she snickered as she wished anna would do it again.do it again, do it again. she couldn't wait for her turn. Now all she had to do is pick out her victim. Asteira let out a chuckle as anna asked if she could do it again. Oh please proffessor let her do it again.lets all watch anna drop the water balloon on his head again.

aww she managed to do it right. she looked over at the boy as he seemed to have a lust for getting anna wet now. She hoped she had brought a rain coat. what goes around was about to come around.

Lucas clapped a hand over his mouth to stop from laughing. His mouth would wash his mouth out with soap for laughing at the misfortune of someone else, but he couldn't help it. He swallowed to make sure a tiny giggle didn't escape. He kept a straight face as he continued to pay attention.

He looked over at Raiden and smiled.

Relieved Anna had made it through this little excercise, and finally seeing a smile return to her face, Callie smiled, "I knew you could do it! Excellent job!"

Callie turned back towards her desk and levitated two more balloons over just in case and set them on the desk in front of Cale and Anna.

Then turning to Cale, Callie motioned for him to give the charm a try. "Whenever your ready Cale."

Livvy smiled when Anna didn't drop the water balloon this time. But she was curious what would happen when Cale did it. Would he drop it? He sure seemed angry. Livvy bit her lip anxiously and hoped that Cale would open his eyes and realize that Anna didn't do it on purpose.

Wow. And she thought this was a classroom. She frowned and rolled her eyes as a couple of drops of water managed to get onto her face. Lovely. She looked around the room at all the amused faces, got even more annoyed and went back to taking notes.

awww, nothing happened Miranda pouted. Maybe Anna will get soaked instead! C'mon Cale! her eyes widened once more
