"Alright then. He said to Melinda. He got some polish and started polishing the handle.

"Hey Barry, and nice to meet you Jose". he said working on his broom.

"Umm...then, what girl? The one who started to insult us...like if she was some owner of the street?" Mel asked Barry.

Melinda was starting to feel nervous. Come on...Mel, this ended like so many months ago...She smiled to Chris.

"Wait are you talking about the girl who said I was her boyfriend?" he said smiling back at her.

"I am confused..." Mel answered to Chris.

"Never mind". he said still polishing his broom.

"Well, relatives...the only one new maybe is...Sands...Sandy Black..." Melinda said, hoping Sandy was the one Barry was talking about.

Melinda stopped talking. "I am sorry....so sorry..." Good one...now I have to pray for forgiveness... she thought. "I know she's your sister...she told me...at the parlor..." She said, "Like a month before vacations ended..." She nodded, she felt embarrased.

Chris had no idea what was going on. He just sat back working on his broom.

Jose replied "No I haven't heard anything from here" he looked at Mel "I'm great just a bit borred and hating history of magic"

Melinda sighed. "Oh...yeah...cookies..:" She tried to smile.

"Tell me about DADA...they're teaching us manners..." She said, groaning.

"Though, it is late..." Melind shrugged. She wanted to talk to Chris, but time was absolutely against it. "I hope to see you later...by the way, I tried out for the team..." She said, smiling. She started to put her broom back in a silk bag she had bought for it. Melinda stood up and approached Chris to kiss his cheek. "See ya..." She whispered.

"Bye, Barry, Jose..." She smiled to both the boys. "I hope to see you later..." She said.

"See ya". he whispered back and kissed her cheek.

"What do you mean by that?" he asked Barry

She laughed and grabbed his hand for him to stop poking her. "What position are you trying out for?" she asked him curiously.

Maddox smiled very big cheesey grin when she grabbed his hand. He chuckled, "Im trying out for chaser or beater. Im good at both." He smiled.

Jose saw Lima "how have you been" he asked.

"Its alright Barry. He said finshing his broom. I am not so good on love lives too". he told Barry.

She laughed. "I'd try out for Beater. I subbed as one last term." It was a fun position to play - she got to use a bat and try to hit people with a heavy ball. It was cool.

Suddenly her attention was drawn away by Jose. "Hey again!" she told him smiling. "I've been good. You?"

Maddox smiled, "Yeah being beater is fun. I played beater most of the time on my old team. One year i was chaser and i liked it too." He smiled and played with her hair.

"i've been doing good" replied Jose "I've done all the homework what about you I have gain over 50 points so far for hufflepuff"

Hailey walked into the broom shed and threw her robes onto the nearest bench. She brought her broom over to the side and began polishing it, humming to herself all the while.
