This is where Ari holds her conversations with the students who need to talk to her. She's decorated it in very much her style and taste. Bright colors and very happy looking. She wants the students to feel welcome and free to confide in her. There is always tea brewing.

While Ari loves having visitors and talking, she is very busy with her job. Please knock before entering and wait to be acknowledged.

She was left on the couch, still under the effects of the full body bind. She glared up at the "Headmistress" in response to her questions and grunted angrily, though not much could be made out considering she was paralyzed by Numel's spell.

After fixing Alex, Ariana headed back to her office thankful that it was now cleared from a Melita. She put tea on and sat down behind her desk. It had been a long day. When the tea was ready she poured a cup, added the two sugars and moved over to her big cauldron she kept to the side of the office, against the way. When she had checked the list Cassandra had checked off, she began mixing ingredients to fill in the empty spots of potion's she was running low on.

Cassandra knocked at the door of the office. She wasn't happy but she needed to see her. She waited to be asked to come in.

Ari had been concentrating when the knock came. She raised an eyebrow. "Come on in." She called adding a couple more stirs to the potion before adding another ingredient and leaving it. Ari went ahead and poured another cup of tea and put it in front of her desk for whoever the person coming in was.

Cassandra opened the door cautiously. "Nurse Numel?" She said sighing. "You wanted to see me?" she asked walking in.

"Hello Cassandra. Yes I did actually. Go ahead and take a seat, please." Ariana gave the girl a small smile. She'd been through a lot it sounded like with the detention. "Are you alright after everything with Professor St. Toussaint?" Ari asked her. Her first concern was Cassandra. Any talk about the potion could wait.

"Alright?" She said and quickly shuddered at the thought of all those billywigs. "I will be fine... I'm very shook up though... flying..." and she shuddered.

"I'm not a flyer either. Let me apparate anyday. I enjoy watching quidditch and supporting the sport, but you won't ever see me out on a broom unless I have absolutely no choice." Ari grinned. "If you do need me though, let me know." She might not have liked what Trell had done but she still did have a soft spot for the girl.

"Now, back to the matter at hand," Ari pushed the sugar bowl towards Trell, "why?" She didn't think she needed to be to specific about what she was asking.

She nodded. She shook her hand saying no to the tea.

"Why?" she said... knowing exactly what she was asking. "It was stupid. I should have never done it. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt anyone."

Ari vanished the undrunken tea and listened to the girl's explaination. "I believe that you never meant to hurt anyone, but that still doesn't answer why. Were you mad at me for something?" She asked trying to think if she might have done something. Ari took a sip of her own tea before standing up and moving over to the couch in her office. Sitting at a desk seemed to formal at the moment.[/b]

"No..." She blushed... "Never mad..." She sighed. "It was a way to make us both happy. Mr. Masterson is a nice man, or I would have never considered him for you, and you like him... I could tell... I wanted a happy ever after for you, and thought this would speed him up."

She sighed... "This was my last year... and I'm here... at Belle's. He's... Professor Forrester... he's... going to forget me... they all will. Professor Erikson, Professor Branxton... I will be a prefect... or just a student. Just another pebble in the sand."

Ahhhhh. Ariana gave Cassandra an incredulous look. "Forget about you? Ed...Forrestor? I don't think you have anything to worry about. He trusts you and he's not really one to forget about people."

Ari took a sip of her tea and sighed. "As for Mr. Masterson, I would love a happy ever after myself. But I'd rather the man not be forced to feeling anything." She gave her a smile.

"You're an incredible girl Cassandra. I wish I could have been able to work with you more."

"He sees how many students? He's had three prefects. Maybe not this year, maybe not this decade but they'll all forget me. Even you." She said.

Cassandra felt ashamed at the mention of Masterson. "Nurse Numel I didn't think I was forcing anything on him but speed. I thought he had those feelings for you. I just wanted them to speed up. That's all. I hope you can forgive my stupidity here. And I would have enjoyed working for you more. Maybe healing is not my calling. I saw how calm and poised you were with Professor Pierce. You are the incredible one."

"I've never had an apprentice before. Nor have I ever been the subject of Amortencia before. There's no way I can forget the one responsible." She gave the girl a reassuring grin.

"He does have feelings for me, and I for him. But it's more complicated then that." She probably wasn't explaining that efficiently enough but oh well. "Of course I forgive you, Trell." Ari wanted to give the girl a big hug but instead patted the spot on the couch beside her in an invitation to join her.

"I've known Professor Forrestor most of my life....trust me. He doesn't forget anything." Ari said rolling her eyes slightly and giving a grin. She had to blink to keep tears from filling her eyes. "Well I've never really been called poised but you will learn with time how to handle different situations with calmness. You will make a wonderful healer Cassandra. You care about each of your peers and encourage them to try their hardest. You are very strong and a good leader. Cassandra, you are very efficient and excellent at solving problems, both of which are important qualities in a healer." Ari assured her without a trace of doubt in her tone.

Cassandra stood and sat next to the Nurse. She felt a pull towards her, the same way she'd felt for Blaylock. "Thank you... for saying that. All of it. Maybe my fears were irrational, but they are real to me." She smiled at her. "I'll be a good healer, because I had a good school nurse."

Ariana gave her a hug. "Not all fears are irrational. They make us human." She gave a slight blush at the compliment. "Thank you for saying that." Unconsiously expressing what the younger woman had just said.

Ari gave a slight laugh and finished her tea, getting up to set the empty cup on the edge of her desk before returning to the couch. "It's been a rather interesting year. Honestly, I wasn't sure how well we were going to get along at first." She admitted.

Cassandra felt a little awkward at the hug. She wasn't one to hug people really, but she hugged the woman back as it felt nice.

"I think I'm fairly easy to get along with..." Cassandra said blinking at Numel. "I knew you were. But I do wish I had asked for this last year, so I could have had at least two years of working for you."
