Kayla giggled softly when he gave her a quick peck. "I'm glad it's getting easier for you, I don't know what I would have done if I couldn't be close to you" she said honestly.

Kayla laid her head on his shoulder and snuggled in closer to him. "I wish we could stay here all the time...just you and me" she sighed. "I know that it's not possible but maybe just tonight, it would be nice to watch the sunrise together" Kayla looked up into his eyes. "The mark of a new beginning" she added in a whisper.

Jace smiled. "I'd try anyways. No matter how hard, I'd still try," he said honestly. He gave her a light squeeze and another peck. It was getting easier all the time.

At the mention of the sunrise, he smiled. "You know," he said, "I've never seen a sunrise. Honestly." He sighed, but glanced at Kayla. He liked the sound of that. The mark of a new beginning. He nodded. "Yes," he agreed wholeheartedly. "A new beginning." He looked out to the gardens. He knew he was safe with Kayla. Nothing would ever happen. Neither of them would get hurt. He trusted her with his life.

"You don't know how nice that is to hear you say things like that, it makes me feel really special" Kayla whispered.

Kayla traced her fingers lightly over Jace's face until they came to rest on his lips. "I've never seen the sunrise either, it'll be a first for both of us" she shivered slightly. "Jace...I've never felt this way about anyone before...it's...well" Kayla sighed..."I like it" she finished happily. If only she could get rid of the other complications in her life, then everything would be perfect.

Grey wolf sat down beside the very pretty kayla.

Kayla jumped slightly when she felt something sit beside her, she looked to her side. "Er...hello there" she said faintly. "Can I help you?"

Jace nodded at Kayla and smiled. He closed his eyes as she traced her fingers over his face. It felt good, but it tickled too. He opened his eyes when she spoke again.

"It does feel good," he agreed. "I've never felt this way before either. It's all so sudden. But I can't say that I don't like it. It feels...right." He smiled at her once more.

He stretched and turned to Kayla to say something else to her when something sat next to her. He leaned in front of her to see what it was. "Um..." he said, confused.

Kayla looked back at Jace with a confused look on her face and pointed her thumb over her shoulder. "I think we should just ignore it and maybe it'll go away" she whispered.

"I know what you mean, it feels as though we were meant to meet. I have never been so happy" Kayla murmured.

"We should have thought to brought a blanket, especially if we're going to be staying here all night" Kayla said thoughtfully. "What am I saying, I'm a witch. But I still haven't mastered the summoning charm yet. How about you Jace would you be able to get us some blankets?"

Jace nodded in agreement, and proceeded to follow her suggestion. He turned his head back towards her and listened to her speak.

He nodded in agreement once more. "I completely agree with you. We were meant to meet. Something's going to happen, and we were destined."

He sighed and pulled out his wand. "I've got to do everything, huh?" he teased. "Accio Blankets!" He waved his wand once, and stowed it away. For a moment, it was quiet, but then several large, comfy looking and warm blankets flew towards them and landed right on top of them. Jace shoved them off, laughing.

Kayla laughed lightly. "So if we were destined to be together, does that mean we're going to get married?" Kayla joked.

"Not everything" she replied. Kayla reached into her bag and pulled out a large jar. "I always carry this around for such occassions" she withdrew her wand and pointed inside the jar, "Inferell" she muttered and blue flames sprouted from her wand into the jar. Kayla placed the jar in between them and looked at Jace beaming. "See there are some things I can do."

The next moment she was knocked sideways when the blankets landed on top of them and she rolled onto her back laughing. "You probably meant that" she gasped.

Jace laughed awkwardly. "Ummm..." he shrugged. "That, I don't know. I just know that I'm supposed to be here with you tonight, right now."

When she set the jar between them, he gazed at her, the flames light licking her face. "Wow," he whispered. "It's beautiful." He gazed at her for a few more moments before kissing her again.

He laughed at her. "I did not!" he protested. "I'm not that good with my wand!"

"I was joking Jace, although I'm slightly hurt that you wouldn't want to marry me" Kayla teased and pretending to pout.

When he complimented her on her portable fire, she blushed slightly. "Oh it's just one of my many talents, I..." she stopped talking as she noticed the way Jace stared at her and she felt a thrill of excitment run up her spine. And then he was kissing her again and she never wanted it to stop. "I'm never going to get sick of this" she sighed happily.

"Oh I'm sure you can hold your own" Kayla said seriously. "Ah...Jace, I was wondering" she faltered a moment and then thought better of it. "Never mind it doesn't matter."

Jace frowned. "It's too soon to tell," he said seriously. He sighed. "I'd have to know if you snore in bed before I even thought about marrying you." He grinned at her then, chuckling.

When they broke apart and they spoke, Jace smiled at her. "I'm not either," he said, happiness evident in his voice.

Jace laughed. "I could, but I'm better at drawing anyway." He stretched and rearranged the blankets around them so they were warm. "Hmm? What? It does matter?" he said, looking at her. "What were you wondering?"

"Hey! I do not snore" Kayla growled. "Or at least I don't think I do, you'll find out tonight anyway because I'm sure to fall asleep on you. Please make sure you wake me up before sunrise so I don't miss it."

Kayla thought for a moment on the best way to broach this subject. Ever since Jace told her what happened to him in the orphanage she hadn't been able to get it out of her mind. She had decided that she was going to visit the place over the summer and find out the girls names who were there when Jace was...and then she was going hunting.

"Now don't get angry or anything and I really don't want to bring this up again but what was the name of the orphanage that you stayed at?" Kayla asked tentatively. "Because I think something should be done about the way people are treated there" she hoped he bought that excuse of why she wanted to know the name of the place.

Jace opened his mouth to reply to the snoring comment when what she said next completely took him by surprise. He blinked fast. "You want to know...what?" he choked out.

He couldn't believe she was bringing this up now. And here, he thought she was going to ask him out or something like that. This was totally unexpected. "Um..." he paused, wondering what she'd do. "Morgana's. It was Morgana's Orphanage in rural Edinburgh." He stared at her funny, wondering what the motive was behind her question. He didn't quite believe her excuse, but let it go, and decided that she could do whatever she wanted to the damn orphanage. She could burn it down for all he cared. He'd always hated the place anyway.

Kayla stared at Jace. "What did I say?" she asked innocently and then it dawned on her and her face went scarlet. "I didn't mean it literally Jace" she said quickly. "I just meant that while we're out here waiting for the sun to rise and if I fall asleep before that happens, I would like you to wake me" she shook her head and laughed. "I can't believe you thought...Mr Collins I am not that type of girl."

She wrapped her arms around him and pressed her forehead to his. "I'm sorry I brought it up and I won't do it ever again. It's just that I feel really close to you right now and I want to help you get over your past" Kayla pressed her lips against his temple. "They won't know what hit them" she muttered.

She lowered her head so that they were now eye level and she smiled at him. "So Jace Collins, what happens after tonight? Is this the start of a budding romance?" Kayla asked quietly. "Because I really hope so" and she brushed her lips against his.

Jace grimaced at Kayla. "That's so not what I was thinking," he groaned. "I'm just getting used to kissing you. I'm so not ready to go that far." Then he chuckled at her. "Maybe someday, but not right now."

He shook his head at her. "It's alright," he said, kissing her quickly. "You brought it up, I told you, and that's the end of that, right? At least for now. We can talk about it at a later time, if you'd like."

At her next question, Jace broke out into a blushed smile. "I hope so too," he said truthfully. "I'd really like to be your boyfriend, if you'd let me." He kissed her once more, and deepened the kiss, pulling her close to him.

Kayla's face went a deeper shade of red. "Oh god" she groaned. "I'm sorry I totally misinterpreted what you meant and I didn't mean that you were that type of person either" Kayla clapped her hand to head. "I really should stop talking now."

"No it's okay Jace, I won't be bringing it up ever again, I don't want to cause you anymore pain" she vowed.

Kayla wrapped her arms around him and kissed him back just as passionately, when they broke apart she was slightly out of breath. "I would really like that Jace" she smiled at him. She said the word boyfriend in her head and she really liked the sound of it.

Jace grinned at her. "It's okay," he said, laughing now. "We both misunderstood each other. I get it." He kissed her cheek and laughed again.

"Thank you," he said quietly, glad he could trust this girl. He felt he could trust Kayla with his very life. It was a nice and safe feeling.

Jace nodded, breathing heavily. "I agree, Kayla Winters." He smiled at her, still panting. "I would really like that too. I like the sound of that." He sighed and looked out at the gardens, his heart feeling lighter than it ever had before.

Kayla laid down on her back and looked up at the stars. "It's amazing how bright the stars are. I can't believe I've never taken the time to appreciate how pretty the night sky is" she murmured. "It helps when you've got someone special to share it with though" she turned her head to look at him.

"The summer holidays are coming up" Kayla said. "Where do you stay when it's time to go home?"

Jace smiled at Kayla. "It really is beautiful," he said. "But not as beautiful as you." He kissed her gently and gazed up at the stars after they broke apart. "It's such a nice night out," he commented vaguely.

When she mentioned the summer holidays, he stiffened slightly. Turning to her, he frowned. "Who cares?" he said, and began to kiss her. "Let's not think about that right now." He seized her gently and began to kiss her, his left hand grasping her neck gently, and his right hand pulling her waist closer to him. He deepened the kiss and groaned.

"Thank you" Kayla said softly. "No-one's ever called me beautiful before" she looked back up at the stars after he pulled away and nodded at his comment.

She was taken by surprise when he grabbed her and pulled her close to him and she couldn't help but surrender to his kiss. She knew that if they were caught in this compromising position they would both be in alot of trouble. But she couldn't think of anything else but Jace's lips on hers and she continued to kiss him back more deeply.

Jace couldn't care less if he got in trouble or not. He was with Kayla, and anything would be worth it. He continued to kiss her, his hands roaming her body. "Kayla..." he moaned, knowing to keep away from her most private areas. He knew neither of them were ready to get that intimate yet. He hoped one day they would be though.

He pulled her closer and pressed her against the tree they leaned against. He kissed her a bit harder, but still passionately, and wrapped his fingers in her hair. Her hair...it was so beautiful. And soft too.

Kayla could feel his hands moving over her and she knew she should push him away but she just couldn't, it felt so nice to be this close to him. When she heard him moan her name, she pressed against him more tightly.

She was getting lost in his kisses, she felt as though she was drowning and it was the most blissful way to go. "Jace..." she breathed as she felt his fingers in her hair. She wanted to be with him now and forever.

Jace continued to kiss her, and pulled away when she murmured her name. "Yes, querida?" he whispered against her throat. He kissed her neck and nuzzled against her.

"You're so beautiful," he whispered. He looked at her, the blue fire in the jar shadowing part of his face, his hair glimmering in the dim light. He studied her for a long moment before kissing her once more.

Kayla was breathing heavily as he pulled away from her. He was going to drive her insane with his kissing, the thoughts that were running through head right now.

She watched him as he looked at her and she felt totally at ease and comfortable with him. He moved towards her again and she clung onto him as though her life depended on it and kissed him again and the fire was slowly building inside of her.
