Lyra looked into the eyes of her newly found friend, Christian, copying his stance and folding her arms across her chest. She tilted her head, narrowed her eyes and smiled slyly.

"Dear, Dear, lovely Christian," she began to speak and unfolded her arms. She reached out, locking one arm under Christian's and pretended to dust off something on his arm.

"I know we just met, but, um..." she looked around the office for a moment and leaned in a little more for a whisper. "We are friends right?" she asked changing the subject for a moment.

He moved again to the next article and then to one of the cages on the wall. There was something furry inside. Christian poked his finger through again and scratched the little fella. Behind him, he could the pitter-patter sounds of Shadow, who was now pouncing on the miniature dinosaurs, mewing at them.

Fabian harrumphed pushing the tray further towards Christian, "Lemonade?" he murmured shiftily eying his desk when the miniature dragons made snapping sounds at Shadow, "watch your tail Shadow" he called over his shoulder. "Well thats a good way to put it I guess" Fabian continued to murmur as he passed Lemonade at the other students, "loved by you is all what matters to me" he mused thoughtfully.

"I wouldn't want to be a villain if I had the say in it" he spoke up truthfully with some sadness in his tone. It wasn't towards Christian's words for sure, but his words brushed the dormant monster he was once, not too long before. Prepared to change the subject to something less depressing, to him. "Well, about what I wanted to see you, I've gotten a new creature in Park 66. And seeing your always lending a helping hand, I wanted to know if you would lend a hand" he broke off in a chuckle.

He nodded in response, as to mention it was fine with him if he only came for a chat. "You don't believe any of that?" Fabian instantly questioned Josh about the villain topic, "or do you" he narrowed his eyes teasingly at the boy. "Lemonade?"

Christian blinked mindlessly at Lyra, who had one of her arms under his and was brushing his shoulder. Was it just him or was anybody who was related to Fabian totally unpredictable when it came to their actions. "Uhmm...lovely Lyra?" He was unsure of what to say, especially when Fabian was right in the room with them. He shuffled his feet for a second, his head slowly moving back as her moved in closer, but it moved forward again to hear what she was whispering.

He frowned and nodded, "Uhm..ye..yeah, I believe..we are. We're friends," he finished in a definent tone. He couldn't help but stare at her, entranced by the way she was acting.

Christian's mind was still a buzz, thinking of what was going on, his eyes still focused on Lyra, his brain totally not taking in what Fabian was saying. "Uhm...yeah..new creature...lend a hand...sure." He blinked though at the chuckle, it brought him back to earth. "Uh...you don't mean literally right?" He eyed Fabian for a second before shrugging. "I would love to help you out Sir," he said in a tone that Fabian would believe a bit more. "When do we start?"

His eyes shot over to the desk, where Shadow was wrestling with the miniature dinosaur, while another one attempted to bite his tail. A flick of the tail knocked the dinosaur over, but Shadow went back to resume nibbling on the other dinosaur.

"Pleasure to meet you Christian." he said smiling at him. He let him be since he was talking to another girl.


Josh Looked at him and then chuckled,"Eh..well no offense professor, but your not excatly Super villain material." he looked at him as he narrowed his eyes... was he suppose to be scared? He had seen far worse looking wizards then this. " Sure. Lemonade sounds good." he watched as more kids came in... it was getting crowded. " Um professor. I was just actually curious if you needed any help this year? I sorta wanted to learn more about the creatures so i thought i could help out...but i dont know if you have any room." he said honestly. by the look of his office everyone also wanted the same thing.

Dia smiled and stepped into the room. "Thank you, professor," she nodded, pouring herself a cup of lemonade and taking a seat. "Did you enjoy your holiday, sir?"

Lyra looked surprised for a moment as her eyes shifted to her uncle. "Oh! Yes," she hesitated for a moment. "Everything is fine. I just came to see...um...how your office looked this year. I have not been here yet and, well, I had to make my presence known. She turned back to Christian for a second.

"Good!" She smiled and let go of his arm, giving it a pat. "Meet me outside in a few minutes." she spoke through her smiling teeth, looking in the direction of her uncle, making it look as though she was innocent in her odd ways. "I have a proposition." This time her eyes landed soully on Christian hoping that he could read the fact that it was more than just a friendly jester, it was a secret.

Her eyes then landed in the direction that Christian looked. There was a cat sitting on Fabian's desk. "Hello kitty," she spoke softly as she reached down to pick up the knocked over dino. "You missed this little dino. Cannot play with one while the other is being left out," she spoke as though she was speaking baby talk to a child.

Christian blinked a couple of trying to read her expression, man it was like uncle, like niece. Both had looks that were like you needed encyclopedia's to read. Then he finally got it. He nodded his head as he understood, "Yeah sure, I'll be out there in a few minutes..."

He worked on finishing his glass of lemonade, while he watched Lyra talking to Shadow. "Oh...uh, that's my cat. His name's Shadow..." He watched as Shadow looked at her and then waved his paw in the air, trying to touch her. He gratefully accepted the other dinosaur and went about rotating between the two, taking the oppurtunity to nibble on both dino's head.

And then one got free and took a nip at Shadow's paw. Shadow let the other one go and the two miniature dinosaurs advanced. Retreat! Retreat! They're revolting! And Shadow bounced to the edge of the desk, crouching down, ready to pounce, just in case they came any closer.

"Odd cat..." Christian commented, shaking his head and finishing off the last of his lemonade. Placing the glass down, he jerked his head to the door. "I'll just be outside then..." and he walked through the doorframe and leaned against a wall just outside the door.

Lyra reached over and ran her fingers down the back of the cat, feeling the soft fur as it played with the dinosaurs. "Pretty kitty," she spoke softly as she heard Christian say he was going outside. "Be right back," she spoke as she followed Christian to the hallway.

With a slight skip in her step, she reached the door and followed through, knowing that at any time, someone might hear them. "We have to keep our voices down," she whispered, keeping an eye on where everyone stood, especially her uncle.

"I..." she began as she bit her bottom lip for a moment and continued, "I need you to help me with a special project, but I think that you might have a little fun as well." She paused for a moment to let him gather in the 'special project' words.

"Im very much interested in studing about the magical creatures.Those cute ones,im eager to see them and Mr.Fabian,i've read much about him."she says with a friendly smile.

Amelia entered by the door and took her seat.She took a glass of lemonade and swallowed a sip.She wished Fabian"good day,sir" and managed to make new friends around.

"Thank you sir," Joseph was aware of all the new students, and was starting to feel crowded. "I'm going to go check up on my friend now, I'll talk to some other time professor." Joseph left the room, wondering what a hippogriff was, it sounded interesting. He was looking forward to Griffins though, not likely, but they where his favorite magical creature.

Shadow mewed as Lyra walked away, but quickly turned his attention back to attempting to bite one of the dinosaur's head.

Christian turned and looked Lyra as she skipped out past the door and took the chance to see if Fabian was watching them. He noticed that Lyra was doing the same too, nodding when she mentioned about keeping voices down. He could do that.

He listened to her deliver her proposition, clinging on to the words "special project." Project? What kind of project? Would he be graded on it!? Oh dear heavens, wasn't even the end of the week and people were already talking about projects! He couldn't afford to fail a project now!

And then she mentioned about having fun, and that's when his face split into a grin. Maybe this "special project" wasn't exactly what he was thinking, perhaps it was something better...and he wouldn't get graded! Nice.

His tongue traced the back of his teeth as he grinned, thinking thoughtfully. "Alright, I'm listening," he whispered. "What's this 'special project' about? And why me?"

"Ah, understandable. Care of magical creatures is one of my favourite classes. I tend to be interested in the more dangerous creatures, though all creatures, in my opinion, are fascinating." Dia smiled. "Yes. Professor Clark is an excellent teacher--and as you're interested in magical creatures, you'll most likely enjoy his classes a lot."

Sana was waiting just outside the office door after a knock to see her fav. Professor. She seems bit upset at the time. His Owl post was in her hand as she read it again.

Lyra peeked around the corner once more noticing more students waiting for her uncle, still keeping her voice down so he could not hear. She rubbed her lips together and smiled. "Because you seem to strike a special nerve with my uncle," she answered his final question and raised her eyebrows for a moment, then relaxed.

She looked up once more to catch the attention of her uncle handing out more lemonade. "Now is not really the time to speak of everything. Maybe," she paused for a moment hanging on to her last word a bit longer than normal, "we could meet by the lake in say" -looking at her watch, then back to Christian- "about an hour, if you are not busy?"

She twisted a piece of her hair between her fingers waiting for a reply.

Christian chuckled. "Mmm...striking a special nerve with your uncle is something I like to do..." he mused for few seconds, while glancing at Fabian, with a smirk on his face.

Christian listened to her finish the rest and looked at his own watch. "Lake...it's too..wide open. Why not the ground pathways? It's quiet there and away from prying eyes." He smirked, he liked how he sounded kind of like a spy...doing things in secret. Nothing get's more James Bondy than that.

"So Ground Pathways in an hour? I can do that," he nodded.

Lyra's sly smile appeared on her face creating one side of her lips turning upward. "I agree about the lake. Ground Pathways in an hour it is," she spoke a she turned back to the now crowding office. She then turned her attention towards the girl, Sana, who was now at the door, her smile faded.

"Humpf," she protested with a grunt as she remembered the girl from the ice cream parlor and the icy way she ignored Lyra when her uncle introduced them. "See ya then, Christian." She stared up at him for a moment with a distant look, then turning towards her uncle.

She decided that he seemed too busy at the moment to even notice her and turned on her heels to leave the room.

"Ok! See you later!" He called after her as she walked away from the office. He entered back into the office and caught Mr. Clark's attention. "Yo, Mr. Clark! I'm going to let you hang out with your little fan club here. I got somethings to go take care of now..." He walked over to the desk and separated the kitten from the dinosaurs.

"Give me a shout when you want me to help you with that creature," he smiled again. "Later Sir!" and with that, Christian exited out of the room.

Xana went to Professor Clark's office and knocked, hoping he had time to see her for a moment.

Evangeline Hermione waked up to the door and knocked. She waited for a reply.
Standing next to her was a student, while she waited she truned to speak.
"Hi, my name is Evangeline Hermione. so you like this class? i do" She saiod started a conversation.

Xana smiled. "Yes, very much so. I'm here to request a pass to the restricted park... I'm Xana, by the way. And you are?"

"My name is Evangeline Hermione Abbott, my full name if you like, i've come to say that im looking forward to the lessons," She said smilling at Xana, "Im going round to all the professors and talking to them." She finished.
She waited a second before carrying on.
"So what are you looknig forward to this year"

"It's a pleasure to meet you. " she nodded politely. "I'm looking forward to Potions and Herbology, my favourites... I'm a seventh year so I'm also just looking forward to graduating, honestly. What about you? And, what year and house are you? "

"I'm in my first year and im in Ravenclaw. I'm looking forward to Quiddich and D.A.D.A" Evangeline Hermione said to XanaSnape

"Come in!" Fabian called the students loitering by the door, "would you like some lemonade?" he added before his eyes landed on Sana. "Ah Miss Jason, I see you received my owl.. come in?"

Passing Jason a fresh glass of lemonade, Fabian nodded. "You can always help me in the animals Parks, loads of animal to take care off. I always welcome a lending hand!" he grinned, "do me a favor and don't get hurt while your there!".

What distracted him the most was Christian sneaking out to speak with Lyra, hmmm? Is that something to worry over? But somehow he had a feeling Lyra was in good hands when it came down to Christian. He'll holler him for a chat later on.

Savannah was possibly even more hesitate, as they arrived at Professor Clark's office. A bundled object securely in her arms; it was a very good thing she had kept him in the throw blanket. Although, it probably did look semi-suspicious with a group of four/five badgers holding something and leaving the castle for the grounds, rather quickly, but no one had seen Rabid themselves. Which, was her whole goal.

"Thanks for coming guys.." She mumbled, ocean blue eyes glancing greatfully over to each Curt, Amelia and Rapunzel. Biting her lip slightly, nervously, she raised a hand and knocked lightly upon the door; her hand moving back to craddle the hidden animal properly.
