Josh sighed as he was going to have to give this kid a shot. It wasnt his fault.. right....Though.. he still wanted to punch his face in just a little. he was a slytherin after all. he smiled at him as he then nodded. he started to laugh as he said they worked us to the bone." amen. Its not like we have nothing else to do around here, but work on their homework." he looked at him as he then remembered. " oh..this is for you." he said as he pulled out a letter with his name on it. " the owl who delivered it must of gotten mixed up. Good thing i knew who you were." he said as he handed it to him.

Christian chuckled a long with Josh, and then it faded when he was handed the note. Christian's eyes quickly glanced over the note, smiling as he read it. It was the invitation she had promised him! Wow, she was fast. "Thanks Josh!" Christian patted the guy on the back and got up. Screw Fabian, he would deal with him later. "I got to go, I'll see you around Josh!" and he took off towards the seventh floor.

josh smiled at him and nodded.' sure thing." he then waved at him... To bad. he seemed like a cool kid. he smiled as he then waited for a few moments.... yeah it seemed enough. he then headed off towards hogwarts.

Mallory looked around, making sure no one noticed that Christian and herself were holding hand. Well, actually, he was gripping her hand as she tried to shake him off, but you get the point.

"Okay, we're here. You can seriously let go of me now. I'm capable of walking myself." she said as she [amazingly and succesfully] pried of his fingers. She went up to the door and knocked three times.

C'mon. Please be in here she thought desperately.

Christian pouted again as Mallory shook him off. But he wanted to be near her...he wanted to hold her...why did she keep denying him that?

"So where is he?" The last person he wanted to be with was Fabian right now...he wanted to devote all his time to being with Mallory. Shadow mewed; okay fine...the cat too...

"Just be patient okay Christian?" Mallory was actually telling herself to be patient too. But then there was that 'the sooner we see him, the sooner we know what's wrong this this boy, the better.' thought.

Mallory was meshing her hadns together as she hoped that the door would open soon. She looked at Christian; he was still grinning stupidly. Please please please be in here.

Josh walked down to Fabain's as he wanted to talk to him about lyra. He hoped... well he really wanted not to be destroyed by the man. He looked up from his feet when he saw christian and... the girl from the hallway. her name was.... Mackenzie...Yeah that was it. well.. it didnt sound quite right..started with an M though.Mallory. he walked over to the two as he smiled." Hey christian..." he looked at the kid. " Hey Mallory..." she looked a bit nervious."what are you two up too?" he asked curiously.

Mallory looked up at the sound of her name. It was that guy with Lyra...she met him before. From the fourth floor corridor...her mind recalled the very meeting. She could hear Lyra's voice clear inside her head. Like he said, his name's Josh...

"Oh, hello there Josh." she said giving him something that could pass as a smile. She looked at Christian when Josh adressed him. Christian had some strange look on his face, like he didn't want Josh to come near them.

"Sorry about him..." she whispered to Josh, pointing to Christian. "I think there's something wrong with Christian. I don't know what. It's just...he's been acting very...peculiar lately." That was the only word she could think of that could describe Christian right now.

"really?" he asked looking at him. he looked pretty normal... except.. all the sudden energy he was sprouting forth." maybe he just had to much sugar." he suggested to her. he then heard peculiar...." Peculiar? what way?" Josh moved to put his hands into his pockets as he was going to help her figure out why the kid was acting so crazy.

"Well, I thought that too at some point." Malllory answered. But there was no way it was only sugar affecting his actions.

How would she begin to explain? She certainly had to leave out some few details. "Uh, well, he can't remember who Lyra is and that she's his girlfriend. And he's kind of...attached to me." It was difficult trying to describe his oddness.

Not to dumb, but not to smart. Josh eyed her in confusion as she say he didnt remember who lyra was." really?....that is rather strange.." he told her as he then looked at her." Look you have your personal slave." he teased her as he really shouldnt of teased about this, oh but he couldnt help it. " sorry." he then cleared his throat. he then moved to speak in a lower voice." why would he be attached to you for?"

"Very strange indeed." Mallory agreed. She looked horrified at the thought of Christian being her personal slave. "I most certainly do not!" she said too appalled. "I wouldn't even dream of it."

Oooh. That was a good question. The million galleon question, in fact, for that too was what she asked herself. "I've no idea. Not even an inkling. It's like, he's been hypnotized or something."

not to self... mallory doesnt handle jokes very well." Yeah....You hear that christian.. she doesnt want a personal slave." he told him as he then looked back to her.

"Hypnotized.... sure you just havent bewitched the boy." oh he really needed to stop." Im sorry. Im sure he is going to be fine. i would take him from you, but im afraid he would just follow you if he is, what you say he is." he then gave her a sympathetic look." i will wait with you." he offered.

Mallory had to smile. Sure it wasn't the time to be making fun of Christian but that statement addressed to Christian was too funny to not notice.

"Trust me, if I were to bewitch him, it was because some dire need of fencing tools were involved." she said seriously. "I don't think I'd want to bewitch someone to get attatched to me. That would be plain wrong."

Mallory sighed a sigh of relief. "Oh, thanks Josh. I don't think I can handle taking care of him alone while he's in that sort of state."

He smiled at her as he nodded." Yeah me either." he thought of lyra for a moment. You could say that they were sorta bewitched by each others flirting abilities. " dire need of fencing? You going to hex him?" he chuckled." what for? Its not his fault." he asked her.as far as he knew... she had just chosen a random girl.

He nodded at her as he gave her another smile." of course. I have to talk to fabain anyway. Also i think his soccer ball is in there too. " he said as he told her." I'll be glad to help you as best as i can. Im sorry." he told her." having to have someone follow you around."

"No no no. You can go." Christian was glaring at Josh. "We're perfectly fine without you thank you. There is NOTHING wrong with me! Is loving somebody so wrong? Seriously..." His eyes were locked on Josh, one wrong move...just one move...

Josh looked over at Christian as he was already protective of mallory. Perfect. He could play a little with this. He was a fourth year so its not like he was going to beat him up or anything." Well i really cant go. Besides mallory wants me to stay.' he told him. he listened to him as he talked about loving someone. " nope its not wrong. What about lyra?" he asked him. Perfect." can i have her?"

Christian was getting mad. "Who is this Lyra!? How can I tell you if you can have her if I don't know the woman!" He looked between the two of them. "I think you guys are just making up some girl to get me mad and distract me from Mallory. Yeah, that's it. Well, it's not going to work. Nothing can take me away from Mallory...I love her..." He looked at her pleadingly, hoping she would understand.

Mallory sighed. "That's enough Christian. We're going to have Fabian take a look at you and cure you." she said, getting annoyed. She crossed her arms, her eyes sparked, the hint of green showing. Good thing she had those sunglasses on.

"Look guys, please no fighting. I'm already stressed enough as it is!" she complained, then she muttered somthing about Christian forgetting his oown girlfriend and professing fake emotions.

"excatly.. you have figured me out Christian. darn." he told him seriously. " Im sorry i'll stop trying to steal your girlfriend." he told her. " she is all yours." he told him with a smile.oh he was cruel to mallory. he would have to apologize later.

He then whispered into her ear." i dont know if fabain can fix this...." he then moved to adjust himself next to her. he wanted to flirt with mallory just to see how crazy christian would go..it would be fun. But it would hurt lyra, something he never wanted." Sorry. I will try to keep the fighting down to low."

"Enough? Enough of what? How can I be fixed if I'm not broken!? I am PERFECTLY fine. You just need to get out more! You're not seeing that somebody is trying very hard to love you, even when it's right in front of your face!" His eyes were wide with confusion, why did she keep trying to push him away? He loved her...

"That's right, you stay away!..." and then he growled. Josh was too close. WAY TOO CLOSE. Christian didn't like it one bit. No way, not at all! "Get away," he took a step forward.

Josh smiled as the boy went on a love rant. Oh where was agie.. she would of loved to hear this. Let alone he should of used a recorder to save it. This was priceless material.

Josh looked up to see christian getting all alpha male on him." um..." he said looking at him. " or your what... Beat me to a pulp pup?" he teased him.

Trying very hard to love you Yeah right. That's why he's with Lyra. Right in front of my face he says. Mallory thought, still a bit annoyed. How ironic it was that the answer was in fact right in fron of her face, of course, Mallory was still oblivious to that fact.

Mallory looked at Josh. "Yeah, it's best not too anger him. And Josh?' she said looking at the small space between them. "I wouldn't stand that close to me if I were you..." and came Christian's cue.

That was some loud growl right there. Mallory quickly stepped away from Josh and tried to calm Christian down. "Christian, relax...look, I'm far from him now, see? Calm down." she said her hands in front of her, ready to block his way from Josh if ever.

Christian stood up at his full extent. The boy was pushing 5'9''. "I will if I have to," he growled. Nobody makes a move on his girl, his hands clenched together tightly in little balls. Christian's tongue was tracing the back of his teeth. Christian apparently wasn't thinking first.

Oh wait...the boy's under the influence of a love potion. Of course he's not thinking.

He spied the distance between the two now. Fine. As long as she was no where near him.

"Christian!" Mallory scolded. "I will not have anyone get hurt because of me. I will simply NOT have it!" she said, her eyes so firece now she was sure you could see through the sunglasses.

Mallory stood next to Christian, so as not to make him tackle Josh. "I'll be standing right here, see? So no fighting. But I swear, Christian, if you grip me again..."
