Diabolica smirked as she saw Cassandra act like she wanted to learn about the game. Apparently she didn't have a very open mind, or else she would realize to be trained like an Auror makes you see things Dark Wizards might not..then a Dark Wizard could use that to his or her advantage....

She laughed nervously. "Merlin, I didn't think I'd be embarrassed. Those of you who are Muggle-born have played something just like this, I believe. It's called 'Hex-Shield-Disarm' but you may have heard of it as 'Rock-Paper-Scissors.'" She did turn red now. It had been a fun game in Auror training, but these students might not appreciate all you could learn from it.
"Essentially, there are motions for each word. For hex, you point your finger as if its a wand. For shield, you place your hand with your fingers straight up in front of you as if it's a wall. And for disarm, you clench your fist as if grabbing a wand in the air." She demonstrated each motion. "You play against an opponent, and each person counts to three, making one of those motions and saying the word on three. Hex beats disarm. Disarm beats shield. Shield beats hex."
Rae-Branxton cleared her throat. "Essentially, it's an Auror drill because it teaches you to be quick on your feet, to think as you're playing, and to learn to read the other player, all of which are good Auror traits... good defensive traits."

She gave a smile toward the Professor, who seemed to be embarrassed for whatever reason, and then raised her hand, "Er, Professor Rae? Can I play against you?" She shifted uneasily in her seat, knowing the answer would undoubtedly be 'no'; but it was worth a shot...
