Sam walked into the common room and sat down on one of the couches, he really felt like dancing but knowing that he would look stupid dancing in the middle of the common room he stayed where was, instead he thought he would play some music taking out his guitar he began to play the gryffindor song.

Jasmine burst into the common room at full speed and looked around in hopes of finding her big sis.

With a huge sigh, she realized Kerry wasn't there so she plopped down in one of the chairs and practically bounced up and down in her excitement. She gave those who were there a quick smile but her thoughts were whirling around her head.

She had so much news to tell her she was about to explode!

Sarah walked into the common room. She was so excited, the match had gone soo goood, her first glimpse of Taika Ai,made her jump at her. She hugged the girl real tight. "OH my God, Ai.. You did so weeelllll!"She exclaimed,happily. She hugged the girl one more time. " I seriously dont know, what you'll do next,"She chuckled.

Taika Ai jumped, as her attention was still on Bucky and she hadn't expected someone to shout her name-- or rather part of her name, her new nickname, given to her by--

"Sarah!" she squeaked, having been so startled. "I didn't see you there," she said as Sarah hugged her. She was rather surprised by this display of affection, but surmised that it was normal and rather nice to feel so loved. I should have tried talking to more people last term, she thought. She shrugged inwardly, hugging the younger girl back. "Oh, you saw the match?" she asked, blushing slightly. "We were just talking about it, actually--" she said, gesturing to Bucky.

"Do you know Bucky?" she asked, before turning to Bucky. "Do you know Sarah?"

Sarah smiled broadly, glad to know that Taika Ai remembered her. " Yeah I saw the match, and you were brilliant, I am sure we are winning things one up," Sarah said, still holding the girls hand affectionately.

Her attention was brought back to the girl next to Taika Ai. Sarah had noticed the other girl at all, she was too overwhelmed by congratulating Taika Ai. " No I haven't actually," Sarah said, looking at the older girl,smiling. "Hello," She said, giving out her hand for the girl to shake.

Aschere climbed down the dorm stairs and passed through the common room. Somebody had left an unattended cookie on a couch near the common room exit hole. As Aschere paused and bent to go out, something small and fuzzy peeped out of her sleeve, grabbed the cookie and disappeared again within the confines of Aschere's robes.
A line of crumbs in the hallway was later found by a very happy mouse which later, unfortunately for itself, also left the resident cat looking smug and contended.

Stepping inside the common room, Ryan felt that his rare comments was more closer than he thought but then again it was just a vibes that he felt and he had nothing to verify that. "It's very nice to stand out from the crowd. I mean the world would be boring if we all look or do the same."

Thinking about how he would explain to her about girls who take advantage of this kind of situation, he walks toward the couch and put her gently on it. He make sure the the fire in the fireplace was still good and warm. Turning back toward Taika Ai and sits in front of her. "What I meant by it is that they would let themselves been carried away everywhere without saying anything. I knew you weren't like that but I didn't want to take more chance for you getting hurt after the nurse heal you."

Taika Ai, now resting on the couch in front of the fire, which made he remarkably uncomfortable-- so much so, she even went as far as to shy away from it a bit-- turned to look at Ryan.

"That reminds me of our conversation at the Start of Term Feast," she said, remembering her talk with him about indiviuality.

"Most girls would let you carry them?" she asked. "But-- if they can walk why bother? It seems like a lot of work carrying someone when they are perfectly able to walk... I mean... I know my leg still hurts and all, but I'm sure I could have managed. I didn't want you to have to work like that for me-- it's my fault that I... broke my ankle after all," she explained. "I was just so excited about winning and now you need to replace me on the team!" she said, feeling guilty. "It's all my fault."

Taika Ai spotted Bucky and waved her over. "Hello, Bucky," she said, still looking rather forlorn. "Have you celebrated our winning the match yet?" she asked. She looked back at Ryan and quickly thought to introduce them.

"Do you know Ryan, Bucky?" she asked. "You probably do since you love Quidditch so much," she added as an after thought. She sighed and lay back on the couch, wishing more than ever that she hadn't let her excitement get the better of her, now she'd broken her ankel, her leg and couldn't play. What a day!

Ryan nodded as she talk about the open feast. He surely remember that and also talking about the ocean which she seems to be enjoying very much. "I do remember that. I also remember you saying that you were unsure about Quidditch and looks what happens. You were amazing but unfortunately it was very short because with you ankle you wont be able to play again." Making himself more comfortable on the floor, he relaxes his legs by stretching them.

"Yep they would." That part he knew but the mystery of must girls were a mystery to him. What would she expect about him. If he knew how girls works most of the time, it would be easier. "I think it depend on different girls. I guess most of them like to be threated as fragile creature and that boy need to be there taking care of her... I wish I could help you more but I still have stuff to figure out about them."

He felt bad that she thought she was guilty about her accident. The truth was that nobody was guilty. It was the downside of the game and sometimes it happens. "Don't worry about it. We'll find something. I know it will be hard to loose you since you are a scary player but will do our best."

Taika Ai smiled at Ryan. "Thank you. I did try really hard and it was fun," she said, remembering the match. She sighed as the memories of flying, scoring, and catching the snitches flashed before her mind's eye. "I still feel terrible that I can't play anymore," she muttered.

"Girls are weird," she blurrted out at Ryan's answer about the inner workings of females. "Well, I think people are weird in general really," she said. "I just don't understand them." She sighed again. "It's all really confusing. People say things I don't understand and do things too... and I don't understand the... some people act so strangly around others. I've seen girls around boys and they are so.... odd. Why do you think that is?"

Ryan knew how she felt since if something like that would happens to him, he would have been very pissed off about it. "That's Quidditch and it's beauty. I wish I would have introduced you to this game sooner. You would have more chance to experience it than you did actually." Still having flashes of what happens during the game, he was wondering what happens with the Slytherin team and why their teams seems to be incomplete. "You have to think about your leg and ankle. You can't risk it.

Her comments about girls was so funny that he started to laughed about it. She had no clue how right she was. Girls could be so strange sometimes. "I bet they are and since you aren't used to what I'm used to, I can seems to act strange too. You have to explain me what you don't understand and if I can help, I'll try my best." Feeling that she was going in the flirt way that girl sometimes used on guys, he straighten himself before answering. "About acting oddly. Sometimes the girls feel a certain attraction toward the guy and want to attract their attention and some of their moves might seems strange."

Taika Ai wrinkled her nose. "They attract attention like that?" she asked, clearly unable to believe him. "But... don't they realise how ridiculous they look most of the time? And they put all that stuff on their face--what's it called?-- and they look terrible and fake. Why not just be themselves? If they have attraction then shouldn't they just...I don't know, act like they always do and just say honestly, 'I am attracted to you'?

"And why is everyone in such a rush to be with someone else? Why not wait to find their special someone instead of rushing things. Love is supposed to be important and it seems so trivial with most of people... Where I come from, we wait many years and the males usually court the women, but they go slowly and everyone is equally and there isn't any ridiculous face paint and no one takes advantage of anyone else," she explained in a huff. Sometimes, people made no sense to her.

"Have you had girls do that to you?" she asked, looking at him. "Put on that face stuff and parade around like some-- some... clown fish?" she asked.

Ryan couldn't contained himself from laughing. He was imagining all the stuff that girl could do to try to attracted guys toward them and he had to admit that at one point it was ridiculous. "I guess that where you are from and where I am used to is two different worlds. I mean it works on some guys but not all. I usually like to stay away from that and just laughed at this." When she mentioning the make up that they put on their face, he couldn't agree more. Sometimes they were doing way too much for nothing. "Actually what you mean about the stuff they put on their face is call make up. When it's well done the girl can be very pretty but sometimes it's hilarious." Taken aback when she ask him if she was attracted to you, he wasn't sure what to answer first. "I.... don't think so.... Why?!"

He had no clue about the rush things. He had a girl in his life but it's not like he had plan this, it just happens. "I can't help you with it. I guess that some peoples needs it no matter with who they will end up. In my opinion, it's just a waste of time but sometimes it's just of happen. You can't predicted it. It's come natural. I don't know if it make sens to you." He knew that all this was new to her and he didn't want to go to far and risk to loose her.

"I guess when I saw someone doing that, I just walk away from it. I'm just not that much into that. It's fun to flirt for fun but..... nah!! I mean the more they put make up the funnier and more ridiculous it is." Having in mind couples of girls that had done it, he was chuckling at it.

Taika Ai yawned, she was so tired now. "Yeah, it's just weird. People are weird here... the water is better," she whispered, closing her eyes and laying down on the couch. She rolled onto her side and opened her eyes again to look at Ryan. He was blocking the fire from view, which was creating a halo of light around him, and also kept her from feeling to uncomfortable as fire was still too new to her.

She sighed, blinked and then returned her focus to the conversation, rather than just pointlessly staring at Ryan. "Hmm... I don't know... I suppose it makes sense... when you just... let it happen. I've never had a special someone, so I don't really know and I don't really understand. There were many potential men in my er... tribe back home who were showing intrest, but I didn't care." She laughed, suddenly, remembering some of the presents they had given her to show their affection. "Somone once gave me all these oysters full of pearls, it was sweet... but I didn't find someone there and then I cam here and..." she shrugged, letting her sentence trail off.

"Flirt...? What's that?" she asked sleepily. She felt very warm, which was due to the fire, and very sleepy, but she didn't want to go to sleep. "You're a good friend, Ryan. Thank you so much for helping me today... it was very nice of you..." she said, closing her eyes and opening them again. She let her hand drop to the floor and began tracing patterns in the rug, her red hair falling in her face, her blue eyes reflecting some of the fire's light. "Do you have someone like that?" she asked. "Someone special?"

Ryan stretches his arm in order to get a pillow and give it to her, maybe she will be more comfortable with it since she seems very tired. As she kept referring to the water over and over again, his first thought about her been a mermaid or something like that resurface in his head but he kept on pushing them again. He wasn't ready to believe it but it did make sense too. "It's normal that everything seems weird since you aren't use to this. Give it time."

Feeling that he needed something more comfortable to sit on, he took another pillow and sat on it. As he reposition himself, he listen silently to what she had to say. "I can't explain how it happens. It's just one day you met someone and you just know deep down inside that it's her. I think it's a very rare thing but other time you have a connexion with someone even thought he don't last a long time, it's a kind of experience that you have to go through." For a second there, he couldn't believe what he was saying. He seems to be more wise than he was.

Listening about what she was saying about her old place, he didn't have trouble understanding what she meant. She was after all a very pretty girl and guys could easily fall for her but he had already someone in mind that he wasn't much focusing on that. "Well It wasn't meant then. No matter where we are from, I'm sure we feel it when we find someone that we can have something with."

Trying to find the best words to describe what flirt was, it was really hard for him. "Flirting is a way to meet potential mates and see if they are compatible or something in this way." He had to admit that he wasn't the best to describe this but he was trying. He was glad that she was his friend and if he could help her, he would do what he can. "I'm there if you need something." Watching as she started to traced pattern in the rug, he was curious to know if they meant anything. "I don't know if you can call her special but I do have someone in my life, just don't know yet if she's..... I don't know. She's special and I enjoy to be with her but it's hard to say....."

Taika Ai smiled, taking the pillow from Ryan and placing it under her head. "Thank you," she mummbled. "You are very wise, you know," she said, smiling at the floor and thinking. She looked up as Ryan repostitioned himself. "Do you want to sit up here?" she asked, feeling bad that he had to sit on the floor.

"Flirting sounds like courting... is that what they call it here?" she said, thinking out loud. She hummed to herself, thinking.

"No, none of them were right for me," she agreed. "I don't really think it's something for me to worry about. I have lots of time and... I'm not that old among my people. I think I'm the youngest actually," she said, still thinking out loud and not exactly realising that she was saying far too much.

"You have someone...?" she repeated. She could sense that he wasn't exactly sure about what he way saying, but she wanted to know more about what it was like. She'd heard Bucky talk about Tag and it seemed like everyone had someone and she couldn't understand the need people had, even though deep down apart of her wanted to experience that. "Is it nice having someone special or possibly special?" she wondered.

"Nope I'll be fine. I just need to stretched my legs."He didn't mind to be on the floor and would rather let her have the entire couch. It's not like he was going to fall in pieces. Pushing the table behind him in order to have more space, he pushes himself a bit more and finally find a more comfortable position where his legs could be fully extend. "I don't think I'm that wise. I guess stuff like that just pop in my head and I say them. That's all"

Her comments about flirting and courting wasn't exactly correct. It was true that they had a certain resemblance but they didn't meant basically the same. "I wouldn't say that. Courting have a meaning more important than flirting. It's more serious. Flirting doesn't mean that it will end up in a sort of relationship or anything." Trying to think of more to say but he couldn't it was pretty much it.

He could see that she was opening up to him and at the thought of it, he was going to absorb as much information as he could and not to make her uncomfortable at the same times. "We are young so I mean it's not as important as that. I know peoples who are older than me and still haven't that special person in their life. It's not as horrible as it sound." Trying to find a way to find out some more, he decided to ask. "You saw a bits of how this works here. How are things back there." This could been a bold move but he had to do it.

"I have someone that I care in a way but is it serious or not, I don't know. She would probably tell you it is but deep down I'll be lying if I was saying otherwise." He wasn't sure if she knew peoples who were in a kind of relationships and perhaps them would be better to talk about it but for him, he enjoy Belle very much, like her presence and everything but was it more.... "It's nice to have someone who's more than a friend but is it really worth all the things that girls are putting on to get it.... That's the real question and unfortunately I don't have the answer."
