As you enter the room, Professor Maline has made a circle out of her benches, and beanbags, and in the middle of it is a large cage with a small creature with a light in it's hand. It seems whispy, and like it only has one leg.

You notice that Ophelia's arm is in plaster, and she gestures for you to take a seat, a warm smile upon her face. Cookies and Juice are beside every seat.

Kimberly raised her hand to answer the question "well you always could be alert and not follow mysterious lights in the marsh, or you could use you own wand to cast a light so you could be able to see the hinkypunk and see whats in front of you". she whispered to Ryan "yeah my face goes wack on me too, like blushing in particular."

"You could try that method, but then if everywhere is mist, and you see a light, aren't you going to think it's saftey first?" She asked Kimberly in response, "Being alert can't always help you. You could however, send reducto hexes at the mist which will only disperse the Hinkypunk, but it'll keep you safe." Professor Maline smiled.

"Your next task is, to negotiate your way around this room, in the dark, with mist, and not be lead astray by the Hinky punk that i will set loose. So if you could all please move your bean bags to the side of the room, and your cookies and juice with it, i'll create shallow pools and mist. You won't be able to drown, but if your feet get wet you know you've been lead astray. My desk is where you want to be, and i'll be sat on it, with my wand alight." She explained to the class, hoping up on her desk and levitating bean bags as she spoke.

Rapunzel raised her hand cautiously. She'd quietly taken a seat on Kimberly's other side, now that she was free of the full-body bind, and was very curious about the smoky creature in the cage. She stood up to move the bean bags, but then thought of a quick question.

"Could you use nox to put out the hinkypunk's light, Professor?"

Ryan's confidence faltered. They would have to navigate and NOT get led astray by the Hinkypink? Oh, how cruel.

He raised his hand and asked, "Professor, what if we don't follow the light, but accidentally get wet? Would that just represent our own stupidity at falling into a...er...pond or lake?"

Katelyn was quietly scribbling in her notebook, listening and taking in everything that Professor Maline had said along with all the students. She gently closed her notebook, and stuffed into her bag. She stroked the lime green ribbon that was tied on her wrist, the material soft and smooth. She made sure she had her wand, she wasnt too keen on losing it again. She was glad when the Professor told them they would get a chance to have fun in this lesson, with the hinkypunk. She was looking forward to this.

Waiting for the Professor's response, Ryan stuffed his notebook and quill into his bag, got ready with his wand, and anxiously waited for the lights to go out and a fog to fall over the classroom like a sleeping giant.

Ophelia beamed, and waved her wand once, and the lights went out. "No body move!" She laughed, doing elaborate waves of her wand for shallow puddles to appear and mist. "When you hear me say go, then you are allowed to move, and no if you fall into a puddle without following a light then i would consider it very strong of you to not be lead astray, but accidents happen." She said while letting the Hinkypunk get used to the room. "All got your wands out? Ready! GO!" She exclaimed, and illuminated her wand at once. "Good luck!" She called.

Kimberly was nervous about this lesson plan, she didn't want to run into the hinkypunk when it was dark! But she pulled out her wand ready for action, but to be on the safe side she stood right next to Rapunzel and Ryan so she wouldn't get seperated from them in the dark.

Rapunzel blinked a few times when the lights went out. She guessed that the professor hadn't heard her question, and sighed. She squinted, trying to make out Professor Maline's wandlight in the darkness. She stuck her arms out straight and bumped into Kimberly. "Sorry," she whispered, wondering where Ryan was, and headed towards the light....

Katelyn quickly found her way to a wall, which was a huge feat without light and she didnt step into one puddle. She had her wand out and ready. She leaned against the wall, watching(though, not really. it was dark!) and waiting. Finally, took a step forward, and nothing was there. Good, im fine. she thought. She heard a noise, and quickly took a step back, not stopping until her back hit the wall.

Ryan shuddered a bit when the lights went out. He reached out for Kimberly and Razunzel's arms so as to not get separated. He turned to each side, hoping the girls were there and said, "Okay, if we're trying to get to the Professor's desk and she's on it with a light, let's look for a stationary light rather than a moving one..."

Rapunzel felt Ryan to her right and squeezed his arm to let him know he was there. She nodded, then realized that he couldn't see her, and said, "Okay..." she kept her eyes wide open, trying to search for the moving light of the hinkypunk.

She heard somethig go bump and sincerely hoped that it wasn't a grindylow attacking somebody.

Katelyn remembered that she had to find the Professor's desk, and she took another step forward, sincerely hoping that there wasnt a random puddle there. She could hear whisperings, and tried to ignore them, whether they be students or not. She had her wand raised, and took another step forward, and another, trying not to walk too fast, and listening.

Ophelia casually moved her wand about to put off the students as the Hinky punk swirled about in the mist, weaving in small wavy lines, attempting to lure the students about.

Ryan noticed there were now TWO moving lights. "Oh no!" he shouted. Ryan proceeded to show the girls the two moving lights, although they were moving in two differnt patterns. They just had to figure out which one was which. There was one that was waving around quite a bit, and another was waving, but not as much. Thinking that the one waving more was the Hinkypunk, Ryan told the girls his suspicions. And then he asked, "Do either of you remember where the professor's desk was in relation to where we are?"

OOC - haha. we're doing Hinkypunks, not Grindylows.

Si stood in the darkness for a moment and blinked his eyes glowed blue for a moment before smiling and walking directly to the professor’s desk and looked up as it and the professor levitated off the ground.

Ryan looked around hopelessly into the darkness, and said, "Oh, this is frustrating." He held his wand up and murmered, "Lumos." The tip of his wand suddenly was teeming with light, as Ryan held it up higher to spread the flood of light.

Katelyn saw two lights, and was instantly confused. She had no clue which one to follow. They were both waving, so she scratched out following the still one in her mind. She made a quicky decision, and decided to still for a few moments, watching each light and examining each one, trying to decipher which one was the Hinkypunk.

Ryan, also a little unsure if lighting his wand was against the rules, thought for a little while. "Well, if Kimberly thinks the desk is that way, then I'm going to trust her. We don't even necessarily have to follow a light anyway..."

Katelyn was listening, and could Ryan talking. She wished she could see, then she would follow him. He seemed to know what he was doing, more than her at least. She held her wand out, but still didnt know if she was allowed to light it or not, so she took another step forward, only to run into once again, another wall.
"Ouch!" she said softly, and rubbed her nose, which has collided with the wall. She turned around, and had made it across the room without running unto anything, and if she had stepped in puddles it wasnt because she was lured into one. She looked straight ahead, and calculated that since she had just from there, the teacher's des must be on one of the either sides of her. She saw two lights, one on the left and one on the right. Gur! Now what was she to do? She heard the professor's voice, coming from her left, and quickly started to walk that way. She collided with something, and hoped it was the professor's desk.
"Is this the desk?" she asked, into the darkness, though she felt pretty silly.
